Relocation Systems and CSI Claims.
Awful service. Thank God they closed the company. Moved from NJ to St Louis Aug 2018. They broke my marble table while they were loading the truck. The movers were to be in St Louis in 2 weeks, but it was closer to 3-4 weeks later and they lost one box, all others were broken and one missing. I was advised by them to submit a claim with CSI Claims, Port St Lucie Florida,a third party. They accepted the claim and after 120 days it would be decided. I made several calls asking for updates, they made excuses. Then after the 120 days were up, I called again for the third time, and they said the claim was closed because they dropped Relocation Systems, and are no longer covering them. I was so upset, I felt twice betrayed. CSI wanted me to call Relocation Systems and deal with them, but their hone numbers were disconnected. Shame on both of them!! I complained to the BBB on both. Next is my lawyer.
Terrible Company.
This company is trash. Nothing about what I am about to say is exaggerated.
This is the shortest version I could come up with--
They're sneaky, lazy and have no real empathy for their customers. They quoted us around $2,000 for our move and after they loaded most of our belongings onto the truck, they jumped the price to $6,000. We figured there'd be some price change, but TRIPLE the quote?? We are now stuck and my wife, in tears, reluctantly signed, and we agreed to pay. At the time, we were a few days away from moving, we had no spare time to look for other companies, so we unfortunately continued forward with them.
All of our boxes that said "FRAGILE" were completely crushed, no care was applied, a lot of items were lost, it took them around a month to finally get our items to us, meanwhile they're lying to us about the arrival date, and forcing us to chase them down, phone call after phone call. Many days were spent trying to reach a manager, who did not have a direct line. Completely infuriating. He would take a day or so to return any phone calls. The next option is, leave a message for him? Nope, his mailbox was full, so after all the waiting on the phone, you end up getting hung up on by a recording. A professional company who charges that much money should be better at their job. After they arrived to our new location, they unloaded everything and left all the trash outside, they did not tell us that either. It was another surprise given to us by this immature and unprofessional company. DO NOT USE SYSTEMS RELOCATION.
A truly awful experience.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! We had so many awful experiences with them as soon as we signed the contract. It deserves zero stars. Here is a list:
-they arrived 3 days late for pick up because of a "broken" truck and then a "slow" truck, and were still 2.5 hours later than the time promised. I was delayed 2 days getting out of my apt.
-the foreman argued with me about method of payment. He would not accept a personal check despite the contract saying it was okay and then he questioned my integrity and whether the check was good
-the final quote after our stuff was loaded was double the original estimate despite me providing an accurate inventory. It was also based on cubic footage rather than weight.
-movers had questionable cubic footage measurements
-movers demanded a tip
-movers did not take an accurate inventory despite my requests to do so
-we were never given a "Know your rights and responsibilities" pamphlet
-foreman said delivery would be around October 1st. When I called the company a few days before that date, they said our stuff had not even been loaded on the delivery truck and should go out the next week and would take 14-21 days to arrive.
-Company would not return most of my phone calls until the third day after I called on several occasions. It took repeated calls just to get a response.
-Company rep argued with me when I said their communication was awful
-It is impossible to reach someone directly. The only phone number goes to an answering service who takes your name and number
- We spoke with 3 different reps at different points and all provided different info..when they actually called back.
-They would not give me the address of where my stuff was stored
-Two weeks after October 1st, I was finally told that my stuff would be loaded the next weekend and go out Monday (2 weeks after they last told me the same) and I would be notified Monday. The following Wednesday, the driver called to say he just left and would make it from New Jersey to Oregon within 24 hrs. I said this was impossible.
-They later called again to say they could not make it that day and instead hoped for Saturday. The next day they said that another truck broke down and it would be the next week now.
-3 weeks after my requested delivery date, a giant 18 wheel truck arrived, which did not fit in my apartment complex. Nobody had told me or asked if such a truck would fit and the driver blamed me for not telling them (the truck at pick up was a normal 26 footer)
-The movers used dollies to shuttle from the truck to my front door and the foreman said that I should help them carry things to make it go faster (Me moving things was not part of the contract)
-Many of my boxes were dented, torn, ripped, and had the packing tape cut and then resealed.
-Someone had put packing tape across the front of my HD TV screen instead of putting it inside a box as it had been when it left.
-Several boxes appeared to have been opened, rummaged through, and rearranged with new items in them that had not been there before.
-We received boxes that did not belong to us.
-We were missing a floor lamp and another was broken and several furniture items were dented or chipped.
-My wife had hidden some jewelry in one box and now much of that jewelry is missing after it is clear someone rummaged through the box and picked out the valuable pieces and left others. The jewelry had both monetary and sentimental value.
-We've tried calling the company to file a complaint several times but our calls only go to a voicemail that is full. Our emails are not answered either.
I wish I had researched more about protecting my move and the red flags to spot, especially during pick up. I never would have allowed them to take my stuff. I saw a lot of positive reviews before signing with this company but now I believe those reviews must be fake because I'm seeing many more negative reviews appear. The advice on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Admin website is very helpful and I wish I had read it beforehand.
Do not make the same mistake that we did by hiring this company.
Severely delayed: over one month and we still haven't received our stu.
Pick-up was delayed by one day (Aug 14 instead of Aug 13). Once they loaded our things onto the truck, they charged us double the initial estimate. This is despite the fact that I'd given them an itemized list of things when we got the initial quote and we'd stuck with that list. It's currently Oct. 1 and we haven't received the delivery yet. Every time I call customer service, I reach an answering service- even during regular business hours. When I try the direct numbers I have for customer service agents, I get their voicemails. At this point I'm considering filing a police report for theft so I can activate my insurance because I really have no idea when/if the delivery will happen.
New York to Chicago.
Honestly I’ve always been stubborn and moved myself with huge headaches thinking I was saving some money. Until I spoke with Steve at Systems and he explained the process. I laugh now thinking how hard headed I was. I even fought Steve on letting them move me. Well I stand humbled. Every step of my move was planned for me, and the actual movers were a new level of efficiency. I could have never wrapped my stuff and loaded on a truck as quickly and surgically as these guys. My belongings showed up only a day later and the same guys set up my house just the way it was. I feel like a fool now for Ever Moving myself. I actually think I spent more money moving myself than having these guys move me. Many thanks for opening my eyes. Smarter not harder from now on.
Biggest Fraud.
Don't TRUST ANY OTHER REVIEWS. This company is a sham, a fraud and just plain awful. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY.
On the moving day they arrived in a budget truck to pack my things. The truck they came was the largest that budget offers: 26 ft that has a maximum capacity of 1,700 cubic feet of space, max load. However, the amount they billed me was for 2,145 cubic feet which is false billing and had I not researched it post-delivery I would’ve never found it. I called them to resolve it and Ryan the supervisor just tries to keep dragging the issue stating that insurance is looking into the matter etc., when this was fraud billing and insurance has nothing to do with this.
I was over billed for 445 cubic feet @ 3.75 Plus a 10% fuel surcharge on the 445 cubic feet.
Per my calculation they overbilled me for $1,668.75 + fuel surcharge.
I plan to file a complain against them with the transport dept. If they did this to me, I’m sure they did this to other clients as well.
And add products that were damaged.
These guys are hands down better than other moving companies I’ve us.
Systems Relocation helped me have an easy moving experience from the phone call until the drop off. Everyone was very respectful and cared about what I needed. Benny called to let me know when they were close, wrapped and padded all of my goods. Handled everything with respect and helped me get situated in my new home. These guys are hands down better than other moving companies I’ve used in the past. Would recommend to a friend.
Overall a good experience.
Heard about the Systems Relocation from a friend, called them up and Steve talked me through the move, had fair pricing. Move went well, guys showed up on time and let me know when they were close. Got everything done in a timely manner. Overall a good experience. Would use again if I was moving for sure.
Ok..
Sysytems were just what I needed when I had to move quickly from New York to Florida . They made a stressful process a total breeze and we are now happily settled into our new home. From the customer service team to the movers, everyone was friendly and reliable. I sure hope I never have to move again, but if I do they will be my first call.
Horribke.
Absolute worst movers ever. Once they pick up your things they will never pick up the phone! Our stuff is 3 weeks late and we have not heard a word. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Love it.
I was nervous about moving in general because I have had a bad experience before. I have lots of antiques and what I consider heirlooms. Blake one of the supervisors gave estimate. He was very friendly and very thorough when writing down all of the items I was taking with me. Blake reassured me how good the company's movers were and that I would have a great experience. Lake invited me down to the Systems office so I could see where my belongings were going to be stored. By the way, I love you Blake.
Do Not Use or Trust This Company.
DO NOT TRUST ANY OTHER REVIEWS. This company is a sham, a fraud and just plain awful. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY.
I had a very minimal move. Mostly boxes of clothing, bed, dresser and mirror. Simple, no? WRONG.
I was sweet talked into trusting and using them over other more trust worthy moving companies like Oz. I was told I'd have a contact who would help me every step of the way and provided me with his "personal cell phone number." Names of employees to be alarmed by Jon, Ryan and Tommy. Also, the main phone number on the site is to an answering service. They do not have an office.
I asked very specific questions about flights, number of steps, weight vs. volume, size of boxes, materials I needed to purchase and provide vs. what was to be provided and included. I was assured everything was clear and all would be as discussed, no surprises.
PICK UP: there were many unforeseen or discussed fee's. Increasing my move over $1k. The workers who I was told were trusted employees were definitely one off hires for a day rate. AND the personal contact who talked me into using the company was no where to be found.
DROP OFF: I had to follow up several times to get an update. Was told I would be informed 48 hours in advance. I was called the evening before an 8am drop off. The new day rate hires, who barely spoke english, wouldn't unload until I paid the remainder of the increased balance in cash. The brought items into my place and I scanned them noticing a broken table, THAT WASN'T MINE. As they packed up to leave, I noticed items missing. They weren't even going to mention it to me. When I asked they said, call the company.
I reached out and had little response besides one brief email from a new contact (Tommy) who seemed sympathetic and said he'd scan the warehouse to see if my stuff was misplaced. It has been 2 weeks now and I've emailed, texted, called daily with no information on the status of my missing belongings. Thousands of dollars worth of items disappeared. An XL box wrapped with bright yellow tape clearly stating my name and drop off address. Makes no sense.
Moral of the story is. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY.
Worst Customer experience.
I can bet on that, all the 5 star review are fake. Do not believe on those. I have used System Relocation and moved from NJ to ATL on 7th July, after calling/mailing them 1000 times without any reply. They already have 80% of my money. Don't waste your time calling them on the number provided, rather invest time to look for better options out in the market. I am more than happy to share my experience if you really want.

This customers was patient paid her fee and was treated horribly by your company representatives from the manager servicing the move to the actual movers. There were delays items lost and even the police had to be called out when the furniture was delivered because of poor edicate of subcontractors delivery team. The customer even had to put out $500 out of pocket for amenities because of furniture not delivered during the beginning of the school year for her kids clothing school supplies and apparel.
This was a horrible experience completely unprofessional.
Your company owes the customer an apology and a minimum of $500 for her lost time and good she had to repurchase let alone the missing and broken items at this point.
I will make it my service periodically to follow up and make sure every social media Outlet, The Better Business Bureau and general public that you use going forward that we can identify will be notified of the type of service you provided. We've already have contact with the national media outlets and of course media outlets local to your headquarter.
I recommend you do the right thing and contact this customer and give her a substantial discount.
Horrible. Contact me directly will give you names dates places and events.

Systems Relocation.
I got a discount card in the mail from Systems when I was moving. I gave them a call. Steve came out and did an in home survey. He was very helpful and made my wife and I feel at ease about the entire process. He reassured us about how good his men were. He sent David to do our move. He was the foreman. He was very good! His men were like soldiers as they went through the house wrapped all of our furniture. We are going to be moving to Ny in a year. I will definitely give them first shot at doing my next move.
