  1. Fraud Company with Felon Owner

I tried to file an insurance claim for damages to our goods during our recent move on July 30th. We took pictures of all the damaged items and sent them to the company's owner, Matt Colbert, along with an itemized list. After the initial contact with the company regarding the issue, the owner declined my calls until I used a different number. Every time I would get in touch with him, he would tell me that he would get it sorted out (finally going so far as to calculate and tell me the amount that he would refund our card) and call me back with next steps. After waiting a few days to receive confirmation/funds I tried to contact Matt all day to no avail. In a final attempt, I used a different number to call him and he answered, but immediately hung up once I told him who I was and why I was calling.

Do a quick search on the owner, Christopher Matthew Colbert, and don't be an idiot like me. He's a felon and con artist that has changed his info numerous times to scam people over the years.

  2. Absolute Worst Company

So my wife and I book this company to move out of our apartment on July 31st. They're scheduled to arrive at 3:00 p.m. ,but their quote says they have a 7 hour window. Which if you think about it is really ridiculous. So at 8 p.m. I start calling every number on their website. I even call and text Matt the guy who booked the move. No answer no reply. Finally at 8:30 some guy calls and says he's not going to make it. His last move was really long blah blah blah. I tell him you knew this way earlier than 8:30 you should have called then. He says let me make it up to you. I want to take care of my customers. We reschedule for 8 a.m. the next morning. 9 a.m. the next morning no show no call. Fortunately for me I got a hold of Einstein Moving company. They came the next day at 1:30 and really took care of us. Gabe and Price were outstanding! Stay away from Texas Movers or Select Moving and Storage!! Total frauds and liars!!

  3. Terrible company.

This company lied about beating any companies price. This was the worst moving company I've ever hired. They added a $109 travel fee at the end of the move. They were more expensive than the other quotes we received. What should've taken two hours, took almost four because the movers were very slow. When I called Matt to share my concerns, he was very rude and dismissive. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! It's a scam.
