1. Read This First.

   READ THIS BEFORE YOU FINALIZE YOUR MOVE -- We had a very horrible experience with The Moving Company. We hired them to move our stuff from Santa Clara, CA to Glendale, AZ. We selected the Moving Company based on the reviews which we saw on the Internet. Little did we know at that time that the move will turn out to be an excruciating ordeal for us, where our stuff will be DAMAGED, LOST and DELAYED by weeks.Here are few lessons that we learnt and things that you should keep in mind.Lesson #1 ## - Read the contract. They may tell you any date of delivery but they are liable to delivery by what they put on contract. There are so many other things in the contract like their maximum liability. Don't trust what they say or commit verbally.Lesson #2 ## - Enquire about the movers and packers who will ultimately be moving your stuff. The one they selected for us lost our stuff and damaged furniture.Lesson #3 ## - Insurance. Better take additional insurance / coverage for your move. You'll pay little extra but your moved will be covered. Lesson #4 ## - If possible, move stuff yourself. Maybe rent a UHAL and drive yourself. Sell off what you can sell. Moving should be the last option.Lesson #5 ## - Prepare for delays and plan accordingly.Detailed review -- # Don't trust the estimated delivery date which they tell you on phone or which they put on estimate sheet which they send. Mr. Christian from your company promised us that our stuff will be delivered no later than June/02/2014. Then we got a call from Viki that our stuff will be delivered by June/09/2014..then another call with a new firm date of June/16/2014..did they deliver on June-16? Nope! They kept delaying and we finally got our stuff on June/21/2014 ! We moved from CA to AZ on June 1st 2014 and because of this delay we had to sleep on carpet for 21 days ! but hey that's just a small part of many more challenges which we had to go through..I really don't want to write about how painful those 21 days were for us (given the medical condition which we had). You know what hurts the most? If you had given us the correct estimate of June-21st, we would have moved to a hotel at least! #Lost item- They lost one of the boxes in the transit. Total value of items in the box was $1016.33.. Monetary loss is just one part of it .. few stuff in the box were of sentimental importance which had been with us for years.. #Damaged furniture - left side of our soda was completely damaged. We had to throw away the sofa. We had bought this sofa 2 months back!# Don't go by their ratings, ultimately they are the brokers who will just hire the cheapest possible moving company to move your stuff. The moving company is NOT bothered about the reputation of the company they hire. They are not bothered if your stuff is lost /stolen / damaged! In our case they hired "Air 1 Moving & Storage" to move our stuff. You don't need an investigation to figure that "Air 1 Moving & Storage" is worst company ever! Just visiting their Yelp page to read about their exceptionally bad reviewed and unethical practices of writing good reviews about themselves -http://www.yelp.com/biz/air-1-moving-and-storage-­­­north-hollywood-3We never chose  "Air 1 Moving & Storage" to move our stuff. If we were given a choice, we would have never hired them to move the stuff. Now you can not just wash your hands away by blaming it on  "Air 1 Moving & Storage". Your comment that - "you are just a broker and not responsible to damage" is of no good either.#Insurance - We were convinced by Mr. Christian of The Moving Company that any loss will be covered by our home insurance. When we tried to claim our loss from home insurance they told us that damage or loss done by movers and packers are their responsibility and home insurance will not cover it. They gave me an alternative to file a police report about the lost item as being stolen by my movers and packers and then claim the insurance. I didn't file the police complaint because I felt the box was lost and not stolen .. Had "the moving company" advised us about the insurance we would have gone for a better insurance to cover our move ! We all mess up sometimes or the other and few things are unavoidable .. but what is more important is what we do about it..running away from your responsibilities is just not acceptable ! I tipped your staff and gave them water even when they had lost and damaged my stuff..all in good faith.. and what did we get? A settlement of 100$ which had I accepted, I would have to remove all the bad reviews, complaints etc. You know what, I refused to settle, you can keep my 100$ but I will get this story out in the public so that people can make informed decisions, learn from our mistakes and don't suffer like we did !

   

2. Thanks for making this an easy move.

   When we used Moving company relocation just last weekend I am thrilled to report that the move went just as planned and I don't have one complaint. When we move it's always mayhem and this time it really wasn't. When you move all of the way to Portland, OR there's bound to be something that goes wrong, but there wasn't anything for me to report that is bad. I am happy to say that this move was just the way I wanted it to go and I would happily use them again, thank you so much for making this an easy move.

   We used Moving company relocation for our move from FL to NY. The office people were very nice and helpful and movers showed on time. I like the way they work and they handled my furniture very well. I will recommend them to all my friends and who ever need to move                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            .

   Moving company relocation moved me from FL to NJ. The movers showed on time they did all the packing, I did not do anything I was just watching how they working. No complaints at all! 5. Move to GA.

   I used Moving company relocation when my hubby and I moved out from FL to GA. WE ARE THRILLED! So we moved with Moving company relocation and they did a great job with moving all of our house..I was so excited and they took really good care of us by the way. Great job with this company and I am thrilled to call them my go to movers from now on, I proudly say this was a great one!!

6. I enjoyed working with this company.

   Selecting Moving Company Relocation seemed to me a brilliant decision. I got rates from many companies but Moving Company Relocation had the best rate out of four movers. The customer service agent Pete was very nice to cooperate with me and the packing crews were quick and competent. They did a fantastic job keeping me updated throughout the service. They provided complete transparency to understand how the price was calculated. I used other moving companies also but no one had much better service than Moving Company Relocation. They reached on exact time to deliver. Good Work Guys!

7. Will definitely use them again.

   I was looking for a moving company that can do the moving for a very short of time. Then I found Moving Company Relocation, they were very helpful over the phone, the price was good for me and the moving was really good without any damage and they were neat and clean and in touch with me for the whole moving. It couldn’t get any better. Thanks Moving Company Relocation.

8. Thank you so much.

   My husband and I used The Moving Company for our interstate move from Boca Raton, FL to Provo, UT. They did a great job by arriving half an hour early and packing our stuff very carefully. Our foreman was fantastic. He and the two workers packed all our dishes in the kitchen because neither I nor my husband had time to do that. These guys were also very quick, the unloading job was done really fast, in a flash! They brought all the necessary equipment to move our things and when it was done, we saw that there were no scratches or dents. Nothing got lost and this was maybe one of the most important things for me, including their service, of course. When talking about their price, it was more than excellent, I mean, we thought that we would pay much more since this was a long distance move but we did not and I must compliment The Moving Company again. These people are real professionals and we would recommend them to anybody who needs to move.

9. They are brokers and are the worst.

   First off I should have never trusted a professional who goes by the name JD!! what was I thinking, I was in a rush!! They lied to me and told me since I had such a small amount I would have a flat rate and the moving company would pack it. Then I actually talked to the moving company and they told me they charge for boxing, so I called back to speak to a guy name DANIEL who is an as**ole and I would love to meet him! I told him the discrepancy with what I was told and he said they record all conversations and he would get back with me with it because his IT (his sister probably) department went home already!! (LOL)
   Of course, I did not receive a callback and I have called numerous times and left voice messages! I packed 3/4 of my apt and let the movers pack the tv and glass, my bill went from $1700 to $2400, not including the &578 I already paid this sorry company!!  The moving company said I should not have even went through a broker because most of them are scammers and I could have called them myself and saved $600.

10. 9 Better Business Bureau Complaints.

    SAVE YOURSELVE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AND TIME BY NOT USING THIS COMPANY.  They overcharged my credit card by double the agreed upon amount, damaged my belongings, and Daniel threatened and screamed at me on the phone.  Don't believe me check the Better Business Bureau they have had 9 complaints in the last 12 months! http://www.bbb.org/south-east-florida/business-reviews/movers/the-moving-company-in-boca-raton-fl-90071192/complaints#breakdown    .

11. Go elsewhere.

    What started out as a pleasant experience went very wrong when they presented me with the mover who would be moving my belongings. The reviews on Yelp for Infinity Moving were abysmal, some saying they were threatened with bodily harm if they didn't pay them more money once their things were already loaded on the truck. I told them I didn't want that mover and they got back to me with another but tried to charge me 7200. even though the contract I signed was 'binding' at 5200. They have a cancellation policy which states that you must cancel the move no later than 5 days before the pick-up date, but, they only present you with the less than mediocre moving company within five days of pick up. Also, the deposit is 995.00! You would do better to shop around for a different broker.
