Stole My Deposit of $4900.
Om August 3rd 2017 I contracted with United Movers Group to move my household good from Bakersfield to Hayden Idaho.
As aa uninformed fool, I gave them depositof$4900.
I cancelled the request per their cancellation Policy on August 19th 2017
I requested the refund of my deposit. They claimed to have sent a refund check in October 2017. I never received the check. They then claimed to have sent a check in November 2017. I never received the check.
After several phone calls I was turned over to this thug named WALTER the manager. He said "boy that's a big hunk of change." He said "I will get it returned" I have never received any refund of proof that they ever sent a check.
I called again and this thug Walter said " I think your trying to commit fraud!" He said they would not send another check even though he had no record of it being cashed and he stopped payment.
These people are fraudulent liars, bully's and thieves and crooks. There appears there is no recourse to recover the money. DOT FBI will not look into this theft.
I repeat, these are BAD BAD crooks that steal from you and you have NO recourse.
They place phony reviews as to how great. Read any asthenic reviews and you will find nothing but nightmares.

Worst Moving Company EVER!
United World Wide Movers is terrible. Initially, we were promised a set price of 2300. She said this was not a broker company and ensured that they would be the movers to actually move us. Two days before they our move, they doubled the price to 4600- conveniently when we were no longer able to get our deposit back. The movers showed up and started a fight, throwing our stuff in the process. Once our items were taken and stored, we were never informed as to where they were "stored." Customer service was rude and used profanity when speaking to us. They would hang up on us and eventually would ignore our calls, so we had to use other numbers. Finally, after at least 3 weeks of trying to regain our items, we were then cussed out by the driver and threatened with his knife. He actually stabbed our couch and bed to death. Additionally, when I was calling the cops, they took off with the rest of our items still on the truck. We had to file a police report.
Overall, these people should rot in H** for what they did. I really hope karma will happen to everyone involved with this company!

United Movers Group - HORRIBLE BEYOND BELIEF.
DO NOT even think about using this company to help you move. The move that I contracted with them was the worst experience you could have in a move. They start out being very polished and sold me a good story. What they don't tell you is that they have a third party come in and actually move you - the company that moved me was Direct Movers out of Union City, NJ. The contract that I had with United became null and void the minute Direct Movers got to my house. Despite being very vigilant about what was going on the truck, the estimate was double what I was told and the third party moving company was a nightmare. They have charged me for things that they didn't do (e.g. $500 for packing my art work in boxes which never got put in boxes) and extra for "bulky items". This was a total of $1250 and not a single picture was put in a box (they were doing this at their storage facility) and my antique items which were supposed to have nothing placed on top of them were taken off the truck strapped to mattresses sideways. Picture frames were ruined and one of the expensive antiques was also broken. I have tried to get insurance claim information and get the $1250 back for the two things that they didn't do and no-one will answer my emails or calls from either United Movers or Direct Movers. This has been such a nightmare - I am taking both companies to small claims court.

United Movers Group helped me move my stuff from D.C. to New York last week and they did an amazing job. Peter and Justin were very accommodating with the special items I had and paid special attention so that everything was moved with care. My stuff arrived well in time and the off-loading was careful and fast as well. I would highly recommend using this service and if I ever move again, I will be sure to use them again.

I am truly blessed to have gotten the opportunity to work with United Movers Group. I know there are many many movers out there and I quickly realize that after asking for quotes online. The thing I like the most about first call relocationswhere is they will work with their own employees and their own and operate their own trucks. The last thing I wanted was a moving broker. They were extremely detailed in their work and they made it a priority to put together an accurate list. Any items I had questions about I send pictures over to make sure we allocated the proper amount of space. Anything that needed special packing I also emailed over pictures as well. Even after we completed our list I had asked my associate they put on a couple hundred extra cubic feet to make sure I did not go over. The movers arrive then I watch them work as they move through my home. They treated all the pieces gently and pack the truck in a way that nothing would be crushed. My list match their list exactly and we still had extra space for my price has dropped beyond that. Their dispatch department called me as the truck was in route to make sure and confirm that somebody would be there to take the delivery. They originally told me 10 to 14 days but the delivery came in nine so I was happy to say I would take it. Overall it was a pleasant experience and they treated me with a higher level of respect and that’s all that I could ask for. So in the end coming on here to write a positive review is the least that I could do. Thank you United Movers Group!

I have to take responsibility for my wife in this one. I tried to explain that the more stuff we take the more it's going to cost us when I say us, I really mean me. I was explain in detail by Mike just what to do and what to expect and all that was in the forefront of my mind. My wife not so much. She just couldn't part with certain things that ended up costing me a fortune. Nothing against you guys. Thank for moving us and not losing anything.
Shocked.
All around shocked and still a little shaky. I got an offer to except a new job. I instantly wanted to say yes, but I thought about all that was about to come with accepting the new job.
So the research began. I looked at houses in the area, schools in the area, crime rate in the area, and the final part.. a moving company that could handle a woman like me. I am very to the point and matter of fact.
I spoke to Desiree who made sure I knew what to expect when the move day came. I was fully prepared because of the step by step directions that I received.
On move day everything was wrapped, packed and on the road. A few days later at delivery, it looked like never moved an inch even going all those miles.
The stuff was placed into its new positions and I was thrilled. Shocked that nothing was missing or broken, but I guess you really can’t judge your past experiences with your present actions. Thank you Desiree and I am writing a recommendation letter to the owner about you. :-).
Running it.
The new everything that I am about to go through is so exciting. New relationship, new job, new house, new friends and neighbors , new world it seems. This is exactly what I needed.
I am so proud of myself that I decided to take my relationship to the next level. Take the new job that I was offered over 2 years ago. Buy a house in an unfamiliar area, city, state, and world pretty much.
I am just happy that I didn’t have to stress about who my movers are. I chose United Movers Group and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you all who assisted.

This job I was concerned that it was going to take up to 10 days to get delivered. All I cared about was delivery.
Even though the guys did a fine job getting it loaded and driven away I was still concerned. When ibgot the call for delivery I was a lil timid.
The guys showed up on the 8th day and I was happy about that. Nothing was wrong or damaged with my stuff. Job completed in my eyes.

This went just good enough. Nothing go brag about and nothing that I would complain about. I needed a mover and they did what they were hired to do. Move my stuff to my new home.

My cousin told me to use United Movers Group if I decided to take the new job because of his past moves with them.
I listened to my family member and boy was I blessed. Not only was I moved at an affordable rate, nothing was damaged or lost.
