Took care with everything and moved fast
I've hired various moving companies in the past and most recently used these guys and they were excellent. Arrived on schedule, transparently communicated all costs, and were very professional. Most of all they worked dedicatedly.
They did a fantastic job!
I was pleasantly surprised by how well these guys did. This was a short distance move with few boxes but lots of big furniture pieces. It was great working with Crystal upfront. I asked for an estimate ahead of time and it was so much lower than the other two quotes I had received I was a little leery. It then I ran into a friend that had recently moved with them and he raved about their work.
Run and Hide
Can not say enough negative things about this service or the company they sent our contract to (Monster Moving). For the sake of my own sanity, I'll compartmentalize our numerous complaints into 5 key grievances:
1- Constant moving of goal posts. Our initial pickup window was guaranteed and then missed and rescheduled 3-4 times. Every single time, we had to be the ones to call the service and ask what was going on. We were given excuse after excuse.
2- Lack of Transparency - After receiving the initial quote (during which time we were absolutely lied to about the level of service we could expect), we did not see a contract or terms sheet from USMS or Monster Moving until we'd already deposited over $5000 for the service and our possessions were loaded on their truck.
-- We were asked when we would be available to accept delivery and provided a date. There was absolutely no mention that the contract gave them a 30 DAY delivery allowance FROM THAT DATE. We only discovered this AFTER reading the fine print on the back of the contract; a contract we only received after we had paid 75% of the total moving costs.
3- Multiple items were not packed. We performed a walkthrough with the movers indicating what items should be packed, and which ones should be left. The moving team moved some items out of the way, then completely neglected to load them on the truck at all - even after charging us for the space they would take up.
4- Monster Moving DOUBLED our quote price from USMS when the movers arrived. In fairness, we did have more items to move then we initially anticipated, but certainly not double the amount. Watching them write up the new bill, I saw they quoted 10 cubic feet for a guitar, 15 cubic feet for a Shop Vac, the list goes on and on.
5- Absolute lack of communication. Helen Keller had less of a struggle learning to communicate than USMS and their support team. Constant excuses, long hold times, indifferent operators, and lack of any updates are what you can expect here. Good luck trying to get any answers, reach a manager, or talk to anybody except their inept support team.
There are not many things I would use a time machine to change about my life. But using USMS is certainly one of them. Damn the butterfly effect, I would happily accept any consequences just to not give my money to these dirtbags. It is now the week of Christmas and my wife and I are sitting in an empty house in a new state, hoping against hope that all of our belongings are safe.
In short, run. Run far away. Run and hide from businesses like USMS. They are the true monsters hiding under your bed you were told about as a child. Except these monsters pick up your bed, spit on it, and throw it into the lake and then charge you for the hassle.

You should read all the fine prints and read between the lines before signing up with them. In my case after I signed up in less than 24 Hrs I called to cancel the contract knowing there is 20% withholding fee but they said its non refundable since its less than 14 business days.( Even if it was, Its up to the management to decide).
They are a broker meaning they don't own a fleet. After signing you up they forward it to a third party.
I decided to forego the $1200 deposit than dealing with an unethical company
Broker- scam
Gave us a competitive quote. Showed up and doubled the quote. They had outsourced to a smaller company. We agreed to pay new quote under pressure from USMS. 11 days later on a move from Chicago to Florida, materials haven't left Chicago, and will not for an estimated 5-6 more days until they even load. USMS says that it's not their fault and there is nothing they can do. Zero empathy. Outsourcing scam, stay away. Told us today it may be 30 days before delivered. So they outsourced, washed their hands, and refuse to help.

My experience with this Movers was excellent. The moving coordinator was very good. He handled everything I asked and she did everything I wanted. The pickup and delivery crew were very good too although they were a little late and there was a bit of a challenge to get to the location. Overall, they did what they said they would do and they were courteous in everything.
SERVICE NEVER RENDERED, NEVER GOT DEPOSIT BACK
I hired United States Moving on 11/16/22 for an out-of-state move btw 11/21-11/22. I was charged $840 dollar deposit for the $2300 job, through agent Jean Pierre. The company canceled bc they didn't have workers to do the job. 11/22 Dispatch told me to email for a refund. Called & emailed, and no response. Jean Pierre went completely cold after as well, with no response to my calls and emails. Really bad business practices. I ended up having to put all of my items in storage last minute because I had to move out my apartment (unexpected costs) and I still have to find another mover to get my items out of state. Now, all I'm trying to do is get my deposit back. Will never work with them again. STILL WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO GET BACK TO ME.
They were absolutely professional and careful
First time hiring movers and went with this company based on the reviews here and I’m very glad that I have coordinated with these guys for my move. Best movers I have ever experienced! They were punctual, fast, and kept me updated throughout the process. They were able to move my 2 bedrooms’ apartment within 6 hours, which got 2 elevators and a long walk. No damage while packing, moving, or unpacking. wonderful people who are generally caring.

These Moves helped us with a challenging move including valuable antiques. This company went above and above to allay our fears, accommodate our hectic schedule during a busy season, and assure the safety of our possessions. On both ends of the loading and unloading procedure, we had an outstanding crew, from the office staff to the driver and movers.
Your service was outstanding in my opinion
The three movers were really pleasant to work with, courteous, and efficient. They worked tirelessly to ensure that the relocation went well and on schedule. The car was spotless, and it had enough of room for everything we needed without being overcrowded. I would happily suggest your services to others and would gladly utilise them again if the opportunity presented itself.
Important before booking
Check the contract very carefully and see if your experience with this company will be really bad, will you be allowed to write it on the review?
Also check if you will ever get your deposit back if you have bad experience.
I am not saying that this is what happened. what I am saying is always be smart

The crew of this company did a great job helping my elderly client move from her home and into another. The client told me they were very pleasant and easy to work with and saved us with short notice.

I cannot express how amazing my experience with this company movers was! The young men were kind, respectful, hard-working, and fast-paced! WOW!!! My unit was on the second level, but this mover successfully delivered all of my stuff to my flat. These are really large items, but they work diligently.
