  1. False advertising and cheating

If possible I would give ZERO star to this company. I contacted this company for moving (as it sounds like helping student) and I gave a complete list of items (even the link of the products from where I bought them), how many floors and every details. 8pm the night before moving Jay Lee sent an email saying it will cost more otherwise I have disassemble everything. I already arranged all for moving by that time. I had no option but to agree with this fraud.

Second thing is the deposit. I deposited 80$ and for doing that PayPal charge me like 3 $. So that money should be deducted from the final cost right? But no, I paid full money for 3hours (although Jay Lee said 2 hour) in cash with tips to the mover and that 80$ gone in Jay Lee's account for giving me trouble.

Please don't take this service. It may sounds cheap but at the end you will pay more. And nobody will receive your call so you don't know whom you are dealing.

  2. Deceitful business practices, false advertising.

I contracted with this company on May 1 to move a young college student on May 22. I have a long email chain where I confirmed the date and time multiple times with Jay Lee, confirming 2 movers and a truck on a Tuesday at 9am at $110/hour.

A week prior (May 11) they sent a link to ask for a deposit, which I didn’t see for a day, and then we delayed paying for a few days (May 15) . No reminder was sent nor any phone call received regarding the deposit in the 4 days in between.

Two days prior (May 20) they asked if we could move Monday (May21) instead of Tuesday. I explained that we specifically only had Tuesday to do the move(couldn’t get into new place until Tuesday the 22), which was why I had confirmed the date and time so many times.

The mover (singular) arrived on Tuesday, a bit late. He was apologetic, explaining it was a last-minute job he had picked up off a Craigslist ad.

What!?! The “moving company” had just placed an ad and hired a random person off craigslist to move her! Their website specifically says “recent college graduates and current students” are the ones who will be doing the moving. This was random guy off craigslist! He could be anyone - he could have an extensive criminal background!

I called and the number on the email went directly to a voice mailbox of no one in particular. The “mover” they sent gave me the phone number he had for them for a person named Sean. When I called them directly to inquire, Sean said that it was my fault that they had to hire someone off craigslist since we hadn’t paid the deposit right away, even though I wasn’t given any notification of this. I said they had promised me two people and he (Sean) again blamed it on me for having not paid the deposit the same day, even though I had never received any emails or phone calls about it.

Sean became aggressive in tone and I then stated that I would be writing a bad review. He shot back that if I did that they would start writing bad reviews about ME online.

I doubt that we will be able to get our deposit back, so we will chalk this one up to lesson learned, but buyer beware.
