  1. My US Van Lines experience.

FANTASTIC..My wife and I moved from St. Louis, MO. to Bradenton Florida and used US Van Lines. We did not know the final destination address until 2 weeks after our house was packed up and trucked away. They stored our items (for no additional charge) waiting for our call, and delivered within the 14 days from request date as they state in their contract. We had major concerns when contacting companies due to reading reviews, but are so glad we chose US Van Lines. Our items were packed by experts, stored and delivered on time with nothing missing, and not one item damaged. The best part was the 2 gentlemen that delivered our items. We had Mike and Anthony. They arrived about 7:30pm (we said it was okay to come that late) and they worked until midnight. They were the friendliest, most professional we could have ever expected. If I ever move again. And I sure hope I don't, I will definitely be calling US Van Lines again. They ranked an 11 on a scale of 1-10 in our eyes.

  2. An Amazing Services!

Would like to say a massive "thanks" to the staff at US Van Lines, from start to finish the whole move experience was great. Initially we spoke with Julie for a quotation, we were not only pleased with the quote, but the customer service was second to none. On the day of the move, Oron and his crew showed up on time, smart and extremely polite and friendly. I have some mirrored glass furniture, which I was concerned would be damaged, straight away, this was wrapped in a highly professional manner, very impressive! The crew worked really hard to get the job finished on time. The same happened on delivery, all went smoothly, with the crew earning top marks again. Well done US Van Lines! Amazing service from start to finish. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a moving company.

  3. Terrible!!

My husband and I relocate often for work and have never used this company. We went with them because they were the only company that did not have an extremely high minimum moving cost as we were only shipping wardrobe, kitchen and bedding. At first Judy, our original contact person was helpful which is also what made me choose this company. As soon as the movers arrived I knew it was a mistake. They were dressed in street clothes and were not friendly. They milked the clock and took a 25 minute break after doing only 45 minutes of moving! The move only took 2 hours so why a break? 1 of the movers spent most of his time texting on his phone and making personal calls while poorly wrapping my glass wear. I was so frustrated I proceeded to start packing my own goods and he didn't say a thing! Just kept talking on his phone. The movers were shady to say the least. Then the guy had the nerve to ASK for a tip after I helped pack my own items! I told them directly what needed to be packed and they still forgot to pack some items. When I explained this to Judy she told me I could bring the forgotten items by even though I paid for them to pack my items. When it came time for delivery it was just as I expected. The driver was beyond rude and our boxes looked like they had been thrown around and some were even open like they had removed the tape and gone through them. Of course we had damaged items and some boxes that looked like they had been drug through the mud. This moving company is a SCAM! And a disgrace to customer service. I will never use this company again, I'd rather pay more money anyday to have a better experience. The customer service from Judy that was orginally decent faded as soon as she received our payment. Frankly I am shocked they are even in business still. Save yourself money and stress and DO NOT use this company.

  4. Scam at arrival date and insurance.

Don't use US Van Lines in St. Louis office if you move long distance!  Scam of the moving dates and their insurance! Again, SCAM! Delayed 26 days from our preferred arrival date. Won't pay for the delay. The furniture packed and unpacked by them got damaged, did not get refund. We bought $20,000 coverage insurance through them! They politely and friendly got our business at first, smiled at us when packing and loading our belongs, after that, your move is doom! They don't have the arrival date! Although they said in contract to deliver within 14 business days from our preferred arrival date, NO! We received most of our belongs 5 weeks after the pickup date, 4 weeks after our preferred arrival date, 8 days after the latest contract date. With a 6 months old baby and 3 year old child, they did not care whatsoever, did not schedule a sooner delivery. We paid US Van Lines in St. Louis $6835.25 to move from St. Louis to Portland, OR. We did not have much furniture, the original quote (~$5700) was the medium price when we searched several companies. We chose them because they sounded polite and organized on the phone. Our furniture were picked up on July 27th, 2012. We have told US Van Lines that our preferred delivery date was Aug 5th. However, they never gave us an delivery date. I talked to them on Aug 5th and found out they did not have the truck! and they did not know when to have the truck!  They said they would call me when they had scheduled the delivery. We did not talk again until Aug 20th. US Van Line called me on Aug 20th and said the truck with our furniture had left St. Louis on Aug 19th. However, they knew it was going to delay but did not tell us. The latest delivery date as on contract was Aug 23rd, the 14th business day since Aug 5th. When I talked to the driver, he told me he had at least 6-7 other destinations to deliver before us, and would not arrive by Aug 23rd. They finally delivered on Aug 31st. We talked to the manager of US Van Lines in st. Louis office in Sept, 2012. The manager offered to send us a check of $300. The amount was sure not enough, but the check of $300 never arrives either.  In Oct 2012, after we sent the furniture lost and damage claim to their claim dept, we got an email saying they would pay only $126.80 for our over $1200 furniture damage and loss. But we need to pay $250 deductible. In April 2013, after we submit a complain to BBB, they responded and asked who said to refund you the $300? Basically, you will get nothing back. And, how could a few hundred $ can repay the moving delay?!

  5. Wirst move ever.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are so unprofessional and rude. Our goods arrived late, were lost in transit and nobody knew where they were. When the partial shipment arrived, furniture was missing, goods were damaged, boxes were open and crushed, plastic boxes had footprints on them AND we even got somebody else's goods mixed in with ours. Who knows where our furniture is now. Claim took 2 months to process and we only got pennies in the process. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

  6. Horrible Company!

UNETHICAL! UNPROFESSIONAL! I hired US vanlines to move my things from St. Louis to California. They took over a month to deliver my things and came at 10:00 at night, where they proceeded to throw things off the truck in the dark. They damaged over half my furniture (broken, water damage, mold), lost several items (including a box of brand new wedding gifts), and even delivered things that weren't mine! The company didn't care about damages and wanted to give me $200 for all my things. I have never had so called "professionals" be so rude and uncaring about the level of service provided or willing to accept any responsibility. I flew back to St. Louis (at my own cost) and took them to small claims court, where I was awarded $4000. The company proceeded to appeal, not because they had any cause to or because they thought I didn't deserve the money, but because they knew I couldn't afford to come back out for court. After months of arguing, they finally settled on $2000. DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR THINGS BROKEN AND LOST (OR STOLEN) AND NO COMPENSATION!

  7. Scammers! Don't Use!

Well, I'll make this as short as possible. After my wife was swindled in person by Amir their supervisor, we were told we would need an additional $2000 to move from Atlanta to Dallas. Basically, because they [EDIT] near beat us to Dallas, we weren't ready to take delivery because per their contract, they said it would take 7-14 days to deliver. So now they have held our belongings ransom and are demanding an additional $2k! They have our stuff in a storage locker somewhere and are trying to charge me $550 to 're-deliver'. After calling and speaking to their 'complaint' department (that department is busy!) I was certain they would at least waive the 're-delivery' fee based on their failure to meet contract obligations. This company is very experienced in shaking down their customers. I really wish I would have helped my wife in her process in choosing a moving company. I would have saved a ton of money, and I'd be sleeping in my nice bed instead of the floor! Something must be done to stop this racket! If you are considering us van lines, run don't walk away. Their initial pricing is what caught my wife. In the long run, it's better to pay a little more upfront to save a lot later! They don't accept credit cards because they couldn't survive all the 'disputes'. If the company you are considering does not take cc, keep looking. The real moving companies out here will accept your cc because they have nothing to hide! So ashamed that I allowed my family to be swindled by their smooth talking representative..(amir)  please do you and your family a favor. Either call a real mover or call u-haul! You will regret doing (or attempting) business with these mindless, unmoral company. Still don't have my belongings.

  8. Non Delivery of my Property.

RE JOB NUMBER K223262 OF 8/19/2011. I entered into contract with this company through their representative at St Louis office to move my property from Overland Park,Kansas to Winston -Salem,North Carolina in Aug 2011.Their agent came and moved my property but they never delivered my lawn mower.Their representative initially denied and insissted it was delivered.Later he sent me an email that he found it and that it will be sent to me with the next available truck. This was in sept 2011.Today is 3/4/12,they have not delivered it and no body is willing to help.Beth refused to help saying the agent is not their company.I did not contract with this guy,he came saying that he was vanlines agent and van lines never informed me that they were going to subcontract it to somebody else. I NEED MY LAWN MOWER.IT IS WITH VANLINES.I PAID CASH FOR THE DELIVERY AND ALL MY PROPERTY NEEDS TO BE DELIVERED TO ME. AGGRIEVED CUSTOMER EMMANUEL  .
