  1. Horrible company.

Please save yourself the headache and don't use this company.  First of all Virginia who did my original quote underestimated my belongings even though I told her exactly how much and how big things were.  I specifically asked Virginia if there company was a broker, she said no.  Our DBA in Arizona is Lifetime Moving and Storage.  Ok so I believed her.  Not the case at all.  They are a broker and purposely underestimate your moving cost so that when the 3d party company shows up they can rape you.  I argued with Tony for over an hour on the day they showed up to move my belongings.  I purposely told Tony and the movers that they could leave if they were going to more than triple the costs of my move.  Original quote was for $1030 and monthly storage would be $50 a month.  When the movers showed up they wanted to charge me $4295 plus $400+ for the monthly storage.  They wasted my time and there movers time.  I did go ahead and let them move my belongings.  Big mistake.  The movers that showed up, not Tony, were great.  They took care of everything and wrapped it up for me nicely.  They were very kind and professional.  As I feared with letting them move my belongings and knowing that we would have to use storage for a few months.  We are now being gouged on the storage fees.  Not the original $50 a month that was promised but a whopping $400 a month.  I could have rented an apt for that and just put everything in there.  Save yourself the headache, don't use this company.  They are frauds and liars.  Tony doesn't keep his word, he just says whatever he needs to, to get you off the phone.  If I could give them 0 stars I would.  worst company and experience ever. oh and know this..after all this headache and grief, now Tony nor Virginia will answer the phone or return emails or phone calls.  Sad way to do business.

  2. Incompetent, and terrible service!

I had been contacted by west coast van lines when I had entered my moving information into a system to receive some out of state moving quotes. This company came in at a very competitive $1,400.00 total cost rate, and I was ecstatic to have found a company that was reasonable as this move was on very short notice. When I had called I spoke with a woman that had seemed decently nice, and she had wrote down everything and I gave them my initial $350.00 deposit to secure my move date. On, Friday November 28th, 2014 Edens Moving Services had called me to let me know that they could come a couple hours earlier than the original time they had set up (which was great)!! The movers had shown up and I took them through my townhome so they could see exactly what needed to go and what we were taking. At the end of the whole thing they proceeded to tell me that, they would be charging an extra $1245.56, on top of the initial $1,400.00 that I was told earlier that week. I was completely outraged and could not understand why there was such a substantial change in the price. I could understand maybe $500 more but not over a thousand dollars! With no choice, we agreed to the price change and proceeded with our move. We got to our destination in roughly, 3 days and then came the end of the first week of December, and I still had not heard any updates on where my stuff was or an estimated delivery date. I called into west coast and spoke with a manager, and he had said he would contact Edens and get back to me. 3 days later I still heard no response, and called again. He said he did not get anything back form them but gave me the number to dispatch that I would need to call. When I called I got a very nice woman that had tried to get in contact with them, and said they were out to lunch but sent them a message that they would need to call me immediately. 2 more days go by and I still had not heard anything, and then I get a phone call stating that I needed to pay 50% of my remaining balance or they will hold all of my stuff that had still not even left the state of colorado. I had no idea that  I needed to pay anything when the movers came and picked my stuff up, and I told them I was never told or asked for any type of payment. After, that confusion was over, they told me that my stuff would be delivered between the 15th and the 18th of December and they would give me a 24hr call before hand to set up a time frame. The driver called me on December 14th and had told me that they would arrive at the storage unit the following day (December 15th) between 2 pm and 4 pm, but would call about an hour before hand to give me a better idea of the time. The driver had called me at 9am and I had called back roughly a half hour later and got no answer. I called 3 separate time with no answer and again had to call dispatch who told me it was probably a confirmation call. With not hearing anything else I left work at 1:30pm to make sure everything was in order for them to arrive, and waited and waited and waited some more. 3:45 rolled around and I called the driver again with no answer and called dispatch again to see what was going on. She called the driver and told them they would need to call me. They did within 1 minute of being off the phone and told me that they where running late and would arrive in my area in 3 1/2 hours. I told them my storage unit locks down at 6pm every night, and they would not be able to deliver the items that night. So they told me they would meet me at the unit  promptly at 8am the next morning. I needed to be at work by 9am but let them know I would be about 20 mins late. I arrived at the unit at exactly 8am the next morning and again waited, having had no contact or calls from the driver I called them at 8:35 and he insisted they where running late and would be there in 30 mins (he sounded like he was still sleeping). 30 minutes go by and they have still not arrived, around 9:30ish they finally arrived in a semi-truck which I had initially asked while booking this whole deal in November if there would be a semi-truck and west coast had told me no because I knew it would not fit. Well needless to say the truck would not fit and the guy told me they could get a box truck and load everything in it, and bring that back in about an hour. I said okay that would be fine, I would just have my fiance here to sign the papers. He then tells me okay so you will need another $300.00 in cash for us to do that! Are you kidding me? I didn't have another $300 because I had already had to come up with another $1200 and whatever earlier, because the price went up. I was not giving them another penny, so told them to give me an hour or so and I will get a truck myself and they can load it on the truck and I will unload it myself into the storage unit. As I am writing this my husband is on his way to pick up a truck and it is 12pm. I am absolutely furious with the service I was provided and the integrity and honesty of this company! I would not recommend them to my worst enemy, and would never use them again. I have never written a bad review about a company before because I believe in just letting things go but this whole entire situation from the beginning to the end was nothing but a total and complete disaster, and no one from either company even offered an apology for the things that had happened. Do not use this company for any reason I don't care if your moving one city over! They have cost me more time and money as the time passed and right before Christmas!
