Poor Customer Service.
I scheduled a move via email with this company 10days in advance for Dec 28th, 2011. I requested 9am in the email but never noticed they did confirm that time on the email, only the day. I was supposed to get a call the day before the move from the driver. By 4:30pm on Dec 27th, no one had ever called so I call the office and find out they have my move down for 2:30pm instead of 9am. I was livid but at this point they have you by the balls and they know it. They try to smooth it over and state more than likely they will be early. Right. I spend the entire day waiting for them, only to get a call at 1:15pm that the move they are on was going to take longer than expected and they wouldn't be there until 4pm. I am moving a one BR apt down stairs, moving it all an hour north and putting it into storage. It gets dark at 5:15pm an it was to be 40degrees after dark that night. I was livid to say the least. I went onto local Craigslist, found HALL BROTHERS MOVING CO, hired them immediately and turned around and called Woody and Sons and fired them at 2:30 in the afternoon. The guy who answered the phone was dumbfounded because he probably didn't think anyone would ever do that to THEM and that they got to dictate the terms of the screwing. HA! I could not have been more impressed with HALL BROTHERS. They called to say they were on their way at 8am, showed up at 9am, loaded the truck, drove it an hour and had it unloaded and done in 3.5hrs. They only wanted to charge me 3.5hrs but I paid them for 4hrs and tipped all three of them $40.00each. It literally could not have been a more pleasant and professional move. The No Stress Moving Company.
Moving as we know can be extremely stressful. When I chose Woody & Sons Moving to move my family I already knew I would receive outstanding service per some of my clients that have already used them. When they came out, they came out prepared with boxes, tape, tools, everything!
They had my 2000 sqft home loaded within an hour! The mover working that day was Sly, an extremely capable and experienced mover. He was not only very personable but also very careful with my belongings and moved through the home with ease.
He definitely made the move a lot easier.
Sarah and Woody of Woody & Sons Moving were great on the phone with scheduling and also calling ahead to make sure everything was arranged and on time.
I will most certainly recommend Woody & Sons Moving to all of my Family, Friends and Clients for any of their moving needs.

Great Movers!
I'd checked around for movers and was given their name by my local Uhaul facility while picking up boxes. They were prompt, courteous and very easy to work with on short notice. I'd read other comments that were not favorable but with two days before my move, I had to go with my gut which was positive. The guys who moved me called first to see if I could take them early and they didn't stop busting their tails all day. They were polite, professional, friendly and took very good care of all my stuff. At the end of the day, there were two pieces of furniture that the guys needed a couple extra hands to get up th stairs and they were able to bring in two other crewmembers quickly and get that furniture in place. My move quote was antipated to be around 4 -5 hours and it did take a few hours more but I had a lot of boxes and some awkward furniture. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would recommend them highly!
Horrible.
They were late to my home (was told 7am start they came at 10:30am) I was told 6 hour estimate, it took 9 hours. There was a scratch to a piece of my furniture (antique desk) and was directed that someone would come assess damage, they never showed. Tried to get in touch by email and phone, took one week for a response and was given some BS excuse that their email was not working correctly. After all the excuses I never got anything accomplished. They had posted a license number but when I researched it I found out it was expired. Not sure if they are even really insured.
Terrible Movers.
I would not reccommend this company, terrible service, and the woman I spoke to on the phone was rude when I told her I was not satisfied with my move.
