I have used Your Best Move two years in a row. This company is very professional. They send polite and prompt young men to do the job very efficiently and quick. They charge by the hour and you do not have to worry that they will take more time than they have too. I have not had one item broken or damaged. I hope I do not need to move my daughter yet AGAIN but if I do I will use this company once again.
Worst Moving Company.
I hired these movers based on price and years in business I was in a hurry to move with little money. First off they don't tell you there is a $78 service charge as soon as they arrive then the guys were so wreck less I am now finding damaged goods. They also did damage to my new apartment railing and post because they didn't want to carry it up about 10 stairs.
Washer & Dryer To Move.
I was quoted 100.00 to move my washer and dryer to my condo. All was well when I scheduled. They scheduled me for the 12-3pm window. I had to get off early (I am active duty military, so you know that is not always easy). The gentleman told me that he would call me in plenty of time of the arrival, so I could make it home in time. I had not heard from him by 1pm, so I headed home. I called on the way to check the status and a different guy told me that all the trucks were out and he didn't know when I would get my movers. Never a truer statement!! I arrived home and then waited and waited and waited some more. Finally at 5:30, I called again only to be put on hold forever, then told that the truck driver would be finished shortly and would come straight to me. Needless to say, it is now 9:00pm and I have not heard from anyone!! No one offering an excuse or explanation, just nothing. Worst experience ever. Never use this company for anything (http://yourbestmover.com). This should have been quick and easy, and it has been a nightmare. I feel that the communication was seriously inadequate! I should have never had to call to find out where my service call was. They should have had a dispatcher who knew the status of each call. I hate having so much of my time wasted. I will tell everyone I know and some I don't to refrain from using this company.

I used these guys to move me last weekend. They did a great job. They wrapped all of my furniture inside the house before it was moved. Ive moved many times and this is the first time that ive seen this. They also let me use wardrobe boxes to move all of my clothes at no extra charge. If you have a move coming up soon you should use them.
Damaged and missing items.
First, I want to say that the company was contacted several times to no avail on these items. They do not wrap furniture to protect it. My leather sofa was torn in the move. This was shown to Country immediately upon delivery. He made a phone call and told us the repair guy would contact us. We still have not gotten that call. We discovered the next morning that a pole lamp was missing, I called Country to ask him about it. He said he would check the truck and call me back. He still has not called me back. I have called him and left messages that have not been returned. David Lee, the owner, was called about the items as well. He was going to have them check the truck and call us back - no phone call. We have several furniture items with scratches that were not there before the move. They DO NOT protect the furniture. We could have done a better job ourselves and saved the money, hassle and aggravation. They damaged our furniture and stile a pole lamp for some reason and have made no effort to make good on it. Country and his partner semed very nice, but I don't beleieve they work for a very good company. They certainly don't have the proper tools to do a good job. I have seen profession movers work and this company is NOT professional. We moved from a two bedroom apt on second floor to a house and it took five hrs. The beds were already broke down and the diningroom table disassembled. They also broke the end of one of my curtain rods which I didn't notice until I went to hang it of course. I did not see any of these reveiws when I initially checked them out online. All I can say is BUYER BEWARE!!
Worst Movers Ever (This Explains the BBB Rating of F!).
Do not use Your Best Move. No matter what. David told us they would do a great job and were reputable when selling us their services. On the day of the move, they failed to show up. When we called, David hung up on us. We called back and said, "I think we got disconnected." David said, "No, we didn't get disconnected. I hung up on you pal. We aren't doing your move." He then hung up. We should have known. ABC Action News has done an expose on this company, and has revealed their fraud. I moved about two weeks ago . Finely everything is in place , almost . And as I was looking around , it dawned on me what a nice job the movers did . The men were pleasant , took extra care with my antiques , and worked tirelesley throughout the day . I have yet to find a single scratch on anything . They placed things where I asked , even hooked up my washer dryer and ice maker . Nice to post somthing positive about a locally owned company. I recommend YOUR BEST MOVE to anyone reading this post .
Worst Movers.
NEVER USE THIS COMPANY! 1) They SHOWED UP LATE 2) They CHARGED BY THE HOUR including the workers BREAKS- smoking, phone, taking off shoes breaks, and slacking breaks. 3) Customer service is the WORST. Called to let the owner (Dave) know the workers were nice, but moving extremely slow. We informed him so he would know what was going on. He said he could tell I was not happy, and was afraid I would not pay so he froze the job and DEMANDED cash for 10 hours of service (after they worked 5 hours) before the workers would unload the truck with our furniture. "I will have the last word here. I will freeze your job and you have to pay cash now before anything else is moved" - then he hung up the phone on me. 4) Many items broken, scratched, scraped, and gouged. 5) The workers left trash on the ground and in the lobby (empty drink bottles) It was like hiring your 15 year old cousins to move you in exchange pizza dinner. We should have called the police.. we felt we were extorted. The $70.00 an hour rate sounds good, but when umcompetant workers cannot do the job within reasonable standards it is a COMPLETE rip off. Our highest quote was $600.00, our lowest was $450. 10 items damaged! They do not wrap all your furniture on the truck.

Worst moving company I have ever used. Being retired military, I have experienced many moves on which to base my judgement. We were moving my mother's one-room belongings only 15 miles away. Somehow, this company managed to lose an antique table, a large painting, and a box of personal items. I called at least six times during the week after the move and never received a call back. Finally, today I was told they could not find the items and also they would not file a claim. The person I talked to didn't seem to care a bit about the loss - just another complaint. I really wish I had read the reviews first. I urge you to think twice before using these movers. As a side note, they tried to get more money for doing things they should have per the quote. As a consequence, I had to pack up move my mother's clothes and some small items myself.

I needed to find a mover for my 78 year old mother. Her very large 4 bedroom home has gotten to be too much to keep up. A friend recommended Your Best Move , so we hired them to take care of the job. My mothers home is full of very expensive antiques, crystal china, paintings, and we were quit worried about the care of her things. Some of her things were coming to my home, and some we needed stored. In addition we needed everything packed. On the first day the moving crew packed and on the second day we moved . I want to express to everyone what a wonderful ! job this company did. From there attitude to the skill it took to handle a very difficult job was absolutely outstanding. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing a mover.

customer service is awful, not trust worthy people! Stay away they seem to goood to be true and they are! Many things were broken and not packed properly. Many things were stolen at my surprised and they couldn't even put together the simple funiture that they had taken apart.
Scammers And Thieves.
SCAMMERS AND THIEVES. Avoid at all costs. They STOLE hundreds of dollars of alcohol from me while moving! They also damaged several pieces of furniture and the walls while moving into the new place. When I tried contacting the business owner David Lee, he was terribly rude and ended up hanging up on me. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, to which this company has not responded. Avoid avoid avoid!

Don't use this company! The owner has a history of treating customers and especially women rudely. My daughter received a quote from this company via text and scheduled a move. The day of the move the company did not show up. My daughter called the owner and he said he did not have her scheduled and didn't move people for the price quoted (it was the price advertised on his web page). Even though he knew her name he constantly referred to her as "Lady". Not only that but he swore at her and hung up on her. When I called him he was very nice because I was a male. He did not have an excuse for me and offered to try and make it out in the afternoon. I said he treated my daughter very differently then me at which point he reverted back to his normal behavior and was rude and hung up on me. "Your Best Move" has a track record of treating their clients rudely..citysearch says he has a 52% satisfaction rating. Which means if you hire them you have 48% chance of his company treating you rudely, not showing up, price gouging you, or ruining your furniture. Do you want to take that chance? Your money is better spent elsewhere. I wonder how he treats his employees?

STAY FROM THIS COMPANY
Wow, I almost never come online to write reviews. I prefer to read them, not write. But after the way I was cheated and hustled by this company, I felt it was very important to educate everyone that this company is a cheat and will scam you out of your money. 6 months ago I used a moving company to empty my 3 bedroom house into a storage unit. They were classy, professional, and did the whole move in under 5 hours. I was going to go with them again last month to move my furniture from my storage to my apartment, but I found this company offering a signficantly lower rate at 65.00 dollars an hour compared to many other companies (average 90 dollars) so after calling them up and speaking to David Lee (the scam artist beware!) and giving him the details of my move, he confirmed he could do the same move within 5 hours and 2 movers with no problem at all.
Wow did they lie. I had two guys show up, one small and one large fellow. The small guy was obviously going to have difficulty lifting anything heavy. The large guy was sick. They had no info on the move, they had been told it was a small storage move. So when they saw the furniture, they immiediately starting complaining. That's what every person wants to hear when movers show up, complaints that this is too much work for them. This post is getting long, so I'm going to summarize, it took them 5 hours JUST to load the truck, and get it to my aparment 30 min away. Secondly, they complained heavily about the marble tables, of which there was just one dining table and a coffee table set, the previous movers had no problems with them. But they refused to move it, saying it was too heavy. I had to CALL two of my buddies to come help! If I needed my friends, why did I hire movers?? Lastly, a move that started at 9 am, around 6 pm they stopped working and demanded payment, saying their boss(the scam artis David Lee) would not let them work any more until payment. We were 9 hours in to this job that had been promised to be finished 4 hours earlier.
After arguing with Mr. lee about the how long it took and how I had to get my friends to help, he hung up on me and basically said pay me or your stuff stays in my truck. I was forced to pay to get my furniture out. It was very obvious and confirmed by the moving guys who admitted that this move had been dragged out so even though the rate was cheap they wanted the extra money. I was hustled. This guy should be shut down and not allowed to operate. Do not be lured in by his low rate, he will drag it out and take any job and extend it by several hours to get paid! Oh, and let me mention that they agreed to a credit card payment, and then the day of said their machines were down and would take cash only. Did I mention Hustler?
