Excellent Choice to Move our Office!
We are extremely pleased with how 495 Movers handled our office move. There were some hiccups, but Julio and his team of men handled them for us. We have a 25 person office and they moved our things quickly and efficiently from Bethesda to Rockville. They provided all of the materials we needed and over the course of one weekend, moved and placed our things just as we needed them. We even used them again when moving our basement storage items. 495 Movers is great!
Excellent moving company.
Fantastic experience! We needed a moving company to handle three moves when we were awaiting our new home to be built. The first move involved moving (a lot of) items out of the home we were selling for the "showing". These items were placed into storage at 495. The second move (after our house sold), involved moving some items into storage and some items to an apartment we needed to live in until our new home was completed. Our third and final move was to move the apartment items, as well as items in a storage unit we had rented, and all the items that were in storage at 495 to our new home. Very complicated move, but everything was extremely well packed and handled with care. The men who moved us were positive and very personable ..never feeling distressed over all the items they needed to move. Josh and Priscilla in the office were always calm and accommodating to any request we had which is so important during the stress of a move. I highly recommend 495 if you want excellent service at a very reasonable cost.
Great Service.
We had 495 Movers move our office on February 2, 2020. This company was great! First we had to change dates a couple of times and they were very accommodating. The move went very smooth. They arrived on time and worked hard to complete the move very efficiently. The men who did the actual move were great, no damage and very helpful! I would absolutely use them again!
Great moving company.
We had a wonderful experience with 495 Movers. Tom Yospe, who gave us our estimate and conducted followup, was a pleasure to work with and very professional. Priscilla Araujo in the office was just as friendly and responsive. The three-man crew who did our move was top-notch. They worked hard every minute and they were very careful with all of our furniture and boxes. We highly recommend them!
Best Moving Company I Ever Worked With.
This was THE ABSOLUTE best company ever! No hidden fees, no hassles, extremely professional, and they were incredibly fast with the moving service. They give you a quote for review before charging. They call to follow-up as often as needed, and call a day ahead to confirm. All moving products are free once you pay a deposit on the service..yes ALLL (sm/med/lg boxes, wardrobe boxes, and tape). And get this - they'll deliver these items to you ahead of your scheduled move date. All of this comes with the service!! And if you don't have enough boxes, have no fear. They'll bring plenty more on move day and will box/wrap any other items you need assistance with. Again, no hidden fees at all and they are very very reasonably priced. I cannot say enough good things about this company as they deserve every type of kudos there is to offer. Five stars isn't high enough. They deserve Ten! I HIGHLY recommend them. Very impressive staff too (all of them).
Average Movers.
Overall my moving experience was average. My mattress was damaged in the move. Only one side of my mirror was reinstalled to my dresser. My computer table was damaged in the move where it appeared that something heavy was placed on top where the CD holders were bent. I would say the team worked very well together and moved me in record time of what was quoted.

I cannot overstate how great the team from 495 was. From start to finish we felt like we were in good hands. I am so happy that we chose 495 in which to entrust our move. Edwin, Gary and Billy did an amazing job and we will definitely be recommending this company to any friends and family looking for movers.

After our last move we thought we'd never use movers again. Luckily we have a new company a shot and 495 did not disappoint! Santos and his crew were professionals through and through. Would reccomend to use again and again. They were amazing! Thanks so much for a perfect move!
Great move.
I needed my studio moved from Washington DC to a two bedroom in Rockville MD. The parking is very tight where I used to live in DC and they managed to maneuver through like pros. They were quick, very careful and all around easy to work with. From the people who helped me out in the office to the movers that took amazing care of my belongings, I couldn't be anymore satisfied. If your struggling on making a decision call me and ill let you know my experience! 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
The Best of the Top of the Line Movers Hands Down!
We needed to be move out the same day we called 495 Movers and within a few hours they were at our house early on time and packed us up professionally and expeditiously. Our movers were highly careful with all of our items, wrapping and boxing and taping to secure and prevent breaking with a mission. We did not need to micro manage these guys as they were given the directions and followed through with a great execution! We were held over an hour during the title signing and they showed nothing but pure satisfaction and high bar raising professionalism. Upon arrival, They placed every item neatly as directed, no scratches, no tears, nothing broken. Without highly recommend these astute business men. They make the entire experience of moving pleasing and no worries! Courteous and respectful was immediately noticed. I came across 495 movers when I googled moving services in my area. I’m so grateful I stumbled through their page and saw so many great reviews. The gentlemen that showed up at my house took care of everything that we just didn’t have time to pack. Took great care of all my furniture and boxes . Overall great moving company.
This is the 2nd time our family used 495 Movers locally. We used them for the 1st time in Jan 2017 and they did a wonderful job. I arranged the 2nd move for my mother-n-law who was downsizing and temporarily moving her items into storage. Based on my mother-n-law's feedback, 495 Movers did a great job wrapping her furniture to go into storage and they did a great job packing/moving all of her other items. They were careful and do quality work. They have great customer service, every person you interact with at the company is friendly and helpful. They are very responsive compared to the other companies. We got two other quotes from other companies and neither followed up. In addition, 495 movers are generous with their moving supplies which is all included in your move. Overall, they are a great company. We plan to use them for the 3rd time this June 2020 for a whole house move locally and into our forever home.

The movers did everything in there power to help me and my wife during our move. My wife is 8 months pregnant and I’m a full time worker. So I hired them to do FULL PACKING SERVICES and removal of all this junk that we had but do not need! Gosh they helped us so much! I will highly recommend them 100% my parents are moving soon and they will be contacting 495 movers. Great team! great customer service! The price was worth it for sure!!

I hired 495 movers to move me from Chevy chase, MD to Chevy Chase, MD 3 bedroom house with full packing as well. They provided me with 4 men team David and Fredi, Edwin and Julio was a great team. They did everything with care and took care of my stuff as I would expect. I hired 495 movers based on the reviews and they exceeded my expectations and I would hire them again for sure.
