  1. Please Investigate!

This company checks all the red flags of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration - MOVING FRAUD Guidelines.
Please do yourself a favor and read the fmcsa.dot.gov moving fraud guidelines and avoid companies like AMERICAN WIDE RELOCATION INC (aka Atlas Moving And Storage).

Recently moved from Midwest to East Coast. Atlas Moving And Storage was the broker in my move that used Brightline Van Lines for pickup and Boost Express Van Lines for delivery.

Same experience as the many of the 1 star reviews, broken and destroyed furniture, lost/stolen items, predatory business practices (250% price increase from initial estimate), estimated price was for weight and charged for volume on pickup, all companies used rental trucks instead of their own, almost impossible to reach and no clear updates. During the whole process it was never clear what was happening, who was involved and when things will be delivered.

Most of my furniture was scratched, some damaged beyond repair and a few valuable items were lost/stolen in the process, conservative estimated loses for this move $2200. The settlement offered so far was $140. This amount would not even cover the shipping cost of items that never arrived and the damaged beyond repair items.

My sad prediction for the future, this company will change yet again its name and continue to do business as usual, in a dance of easy money, lose regulations and predatory practices.

If you are considering hiring them or just hired them and waiting for your belongings, I sincerely wish you my best of luck!

  2. Now called.

I've been dismayed at the abuse and deceit from a company called "American Movers and Storage", based on macon, GA. Phone # 877-635-5059. Then I googled the owner name and found this. It appears JOSEPH HARRIS has some of the same criminal staff here, such as KATE and the same utterly deceitful ways about them.

Their driver YUAL physically assaulted me and they blamed me for it. Their employee MELISSA also yelled at me and they tried to bilk me for $1000 more dollars because their DRIVER YUAL ASSAULTED ME and STORMED OUT without doing the JOB! This is against contract!!

He was probably 300 lbs, I'm a petite woman and he needlessly pushed me and hit me with the door. I had to file a police report.

From the moment I gave my deposit, this company has been totally insane. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND BULLY YOU IF YOU EXPECT TO BE TREATED WELL!!

  4. American Wide Relocation and Safe Load Moving and Storage Property Dam.

I paid $2100.00 for American Wide Relocation to moved a few items from NJ to AZ in March 2018. When my items arrived, the dressers showed damaged and my antique table came with 3-busted legs and a broken drawer. The driver (from Safe Load Moving and Storage) apparently a sub contractor of American Wide Relocation, said he would submit a claim for me so I would be paid for the damage. This occurred in April 2018. Every time I call the driver (David Raviv Aharon)from Safe Load he makes excuses: says that he put in a claim for my damaged property and will look into it, or promises to text me the claim number so I can pursue the claim.

I've called the American Wide Relocation numerous within the last 6 months and spoke to several customer service representatives: they continually make excuses and put me off. I spoke to a supervisor on May 7th and sent him pictures of the damage and followed up with more calls the last couple months and received no email response or follow up. The last time I called American Wide Relocation the rep told me to contact Safe Load Moving and Storage because they handle damage claims. This was 4 months after they promised to look into the issue get back to me with information about the claim.
It's now been 6 months and no response.

I called Safe Loading Moving and Storage today- explained who I was, and he hung up the phone. Then I called American Wide Relocation and he also dropped the phone call.

My next step is a lawsuit.

  5. Worst Company! do Not Use.

American Wide Relocation is a scam. They hired a moving company in New Jersey to move me out to Los Angeles on January 6th 2018. It is September 11th 2018 and that company has still not delivered half of my belongings. They broke a mirror, lost two bins of my more valuable things( Apple TV and all of my kitchen appliances), and have the rest of my things in a warehouse and refuse to deliver it. They are literally keeping it in their warehouse because they don't feel like delivering it.

The worst part about American Wide Relocation is that they don't care. Customer service Jack, Jonathan, Kate, etc..are pretty horrible human beings. I have been on the phone with them almost every single day for four months and they haven't done anything to make this right.

When I finally got the man's name of the company they used to move me I found out that he was in lawsuits with five other people with similar situations. These lawsuits were in 2017. By the way the man's name is David Raviv Aharon. Do not trust him to move your things. These guys are crooks. Google the name and you will see.

The fact that American Wide Relocation continues to hire people who do not do their jobs is pathetic. This company in New Jersey should have been flagged. What was American Wide Relocations comments when confronted with this information? "Well I don't know what you want us to do about it."

I say that they are a scam because there is no way of me knowing if they aren't just working with this guy in Jersey to go through my boxes and take what is valuable.

This company has brought nine months of distress to me and my family . I wish I could write a bad review for them for every single day that they put me through h$#@. Really horrible human beings. Really horrible company.

Jordan- if you are still working there and ever get the chance to read this I want you to know that you really let me down. You promised me good service that I could trust and you and the company failed.

  6. FRAUD!! They stole my money.

BUYER BEWARE!! They took my money and NEVER sent a van to pickup my things. Three months later they still have not returned the money I paid for a CONTRACTED SERVICE they did not provide. This company should be shut down!

  7. American Wide Relocation and Safe Load Mocving.

    Folks,
Beware. ** DO NOT BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS **
American Wide Moving was doing business as something else before and before that as something else. Just when their bucket of evil fills up, they close up and start with a different name.
They have scammed thousands of people to date.
If you need proof and real stories, call Ken Atri 978-328-6283 kenatri@juno.com and Julie Higgins at 603-341-9557 julesvw@mac.com. We will give you all you need to know.
This is a public service announcement - so that innocent consumers who are in stress already due to tight moving deadlines aren't victimized by these companies. American Wide Relocation operates out of FL and Safe Load Moving out of NY. BTW, nothing safe about Safe Loading Movers. Nearly everything they finally delivered was damaged, broken and otherwise Junk.
** BEWARE FOLKS - DO NOT USE AMERICAN WIDE RELOCATION AND SAFE LOAD MOVERS **.

  8. Worst F**g Moving Company Ever!!

This company is horrible!! Do not use them!! They quoted me a price told me that what ever they disassemble they would reassemble.. well that never happened. Oh and did I mention that those actual words are in the contract. Also my things were supposed to be at my new home by Tuesday no later than Wednesday.. I didn’t receive my things until late Saturday. Mean while they showed up with numbers that doubled d**near tripling in price. Their excuse was that I had an extra 2000 lbs and I asked how when the largest item was my entertainment center. Not to mention that I removed and item or two. So they wouldn’t even budge off of my things until I gave them an additional 1500 dollars. As time went on they tore my entertainment center, managed to get rips in my leather sectional. Scratched my wine rack severely, as well as my dressers. Not to mention they didn’t reassemble any of our things. Then around 11:30 pm the guy tells me that it’s getting late and that they would definitely be back by 9. It’s currently after 7 CST and I’ve yet to see them. Oh wait how could I forget.. I did speak to a Cody and this was around 12 or so and he told me that the guy was doing his [EDIT] laundry. And that they would be here shortly. An hour later he tells me that they have lost the pieces to my beds and that they are trying to find them. After calling the several numbers that I have all day.. all I got accomplished was getting hung up on, they took 2 alleged urgent messages, and several what I believe to be screened calls!! F**horrendous, horrible, dishonest, unorganized, lack of communicating company I’ve ever done half a** business with in my life. And act as if though their doing you a f**favor by ripping ppl off. 0 stars and all thumbs dwn. F**this company and all the f**dumb a** slick a** scammers that assist in being apart of this company. From the MF that cleans the office to the son of a b** that’s at the top calling shots. F** ya!!

  9. Do NOT use this company!!

We were quoted one price on the phone and told there would not be a problem with additional items, and they would be weighed to ensure accuracy. Upon arriving at my home in NH, the lead mover tried to upsell me a flat rate, which I declined and he became angrily aggressive about. He even threatened to not move my belongings after half filling the truck (he'd pick up another load prior to so I am not sure how he can ensure accuracy even though we'd given him directions to a weigh station less than 5 miles away.) I called the office to complain about his lack of professionalism, and he immediately came in the house screaming at me for calling the office on him. I have photos on my phone of how my property was handled and will also be seeking the advice of an attorney. We were told if there were more items it would not be a problem, it would be weighed and we'd have to pay for the overage. It was not weighed and I don't know how they will arrive at an accurate price but they left at least 10% of my belongings behind which I had no choice but to give away as I needed to be out of the house for closing the following morning. I was also quoted for 3-5 days and it is now taking 8-9 days. I will not allow them back into my home without calling the police, as I said the driver was very aggressive and was in my face screaming at me for calling the office. I have several witnesses to this. This has been an absolute nightmare and they have not returned any calls. I have gotten ahold of them a couple of times and always get the "I'll call you later" and they don't. I am afraid that most of my belongings will be destroyed, or missing altogether. They quote you one price and then want to double or triple the price with out doubling or tripling the load, nor are they accurate in the amount of time it would take them to get here. I am actually in fear for my safety, as I said the driver was extremely aggressive.

  10. Full Service move from Utah to Texas.

This company appears to be a shell company. I really don't know if they even are a moving company. They claim to be a moving company but the best I can tell they are just good salesman who say whatever it is necessary to get money from you. They delivered zero actual movers to me and lied the entire process. No way an actual moving company can stay in business with the lack of service these guys provide. When I was looking for a moving company to do a Utah to Texas move I sent out a feeler online and several contacted me. I noticed they were all based in S. Florida which was a bit of a red flag, but when I asked about the location Joe the supervisor, NY accent, assured me they had a 60 truck moving hub based in Denver.(there is no hub at all in Denver) Turns out this was the first on many subsequent lies. They bid a very good price and asked for a deposit, which I was hesitant to do, especially after an online review of people's comments. I should have just hung up then but I needed someone to move me and Joe said the Boynton, Florida office had had some issues but remember he was dispatching a truck from Denver and it was a great operation. It is high pressure sales at it's finest and they say they have to have a deposit so they can put you on "the board" so they can ensure you a great move. He said they do 600 moves a month and it takes lots of planning so we gotta get you scheduled. So I gave the ok for the deposit, afterwards I noticed they actually took 2 draws on my credit card. A few days before the move, "Mike" from Quality Control, what a joke, called to go through the inventory once more. It turns out they left several of the heaviest items off my inventory and the weight went up and so did the cost and they wanted more money because now I needed a full size truck, which is what Joe had told me I needed on the first call, now I was under a lot of pressure as I had already sold my house and we had to be out. Long story slightly shorter, they keep you on the phone and wear you down going through an inventory initially, about 1 to 2 hours and then send you a contract with an inventory list about 6 to 9 pages long with tons of fine print and an inventory list that is kinda vague, they don't explain and then it has to be e-signed right then. They talk about great discounts that have to be secured with a deposit and then come back to you a few day before and try to jack up the price and request another deposit. One of Joe's original lies was they don't contract out and moves and then Mike told me the contract out a place in Las Vegas (Executive Movers) for all their Western moves. So they don't even tell the same lies. There is an office of some sort in Vegas, or at least a Vegas phone number but I believe they are a scam as well. They did not show up 2 days in a row and we had a 5 bedroom house that was supposed to be packed up, loaded, driven to Texas and stored and then delivered after our house was built. We were left scrambling and only our awesome neighbors and last minute U-Haul truck rentals bailed us out. American Wide won't talk to me after the first time I called asking for my refund. These people are cons, don't believe a word they say. After they fail to show up and move you, they just put you on hold and never come back to the phone. You have to try and dispute the charges through the credit card companies. Problem is if the credit card companies get hold of them and they lie to them too, they are professionals and they most likely have off shore bank accounts to keep the credit card companies from being able to get to the money. Please never get duped by them. There are a few positive reviews on their website but those are probably fictitious, written by the company because they are all 5 stars.

  11. Military discount SCAM.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY..

We went with this company because it looked fair but since then many bad reviews. We were offered a military discount and when furniture was delivered we had to pay the NEW over charged amount in order to get our furniture. They removed discount and over charged us gas cost and packaging cost.

This company subcontracts with very poor moving companies. They aren't the actual moving company. They won't help you get your money back or help with missing furniture. Our small safe went missing. Our 1700 cost ended up being 2900. Don't pay then they won't unload. We've been calling for 6 months and promises of sending a check with every call.

  12. Horrible Company And Service.

Do not I REPEAT DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MOVE. I had a scheduled pick up date of the 26th and 27th to move out of my house. They called at 2:30PM on the 27th after we have talked plenty of times about when they would come and arrive to move my house. At 2:30 they called and said they are not going to make it to my house to move my property. This started a chain of events that made my families life horrible. We had to go through emergency movers for about 6 thousand more to get us out that night of the 27th till 4 AM the next morning of the 28th. The following Monday I called this horrible company American wide relocation and spoke to Kate, Ana, Eric and Jennifer. They informed me I would be getting back my deposits and the refund process has already started in the amount of $2,200 dollars. I called my credit company to let them know of the funds that would be coming back into my account as it would show a credit on my credit card in that amount. Now American wide relocation has denied to give me back any of my funds in the amount of $2,200 even though they didn't do anything. They called and had a hostile tone on the phone very impolitely and said sorry this is your fault and you will never see those funds again and that they're our funds now. This company absolutely needs to be investigated and prosecuted for their fraudulent behaviors and business. DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MOVE!

  13. Interstate move Ohio to Alabama.

Please do not use this company! On 2/20/18 American Wide relocation was to pick up my furniture. I was told that day they contracted Safe load moving and storage. They showed up 3 hours late and we were their first job. I was told it would take 3-4 days to receive my furniture. After 4 days and no furniture I was told 5-6 days. When I asked where my furniture was they would not tell me until I went to the police and told them it would be reported stolen. I was finally told it was in New Jersey they were trying to find a carrier to bring it to Alabama. When you call American Wide relocation and speak to Kate or Jen or anyone you are told nothing but lies and they hang up on you. After 10 days my furniture arrived and every piece was broken. Every box had broken items. I then contacted Safe load moving and storage who is definitely not safe and spoke to David. I was told he would take care of everything. It's been over a month of phone calls and text messages and my furniture is still broken. These idiots broke valuable antiques worth over $15,000.00. I am now being told I have to file a claim and that will take another 4 months. I have called an attorney as well as the department of immigration, federal safety transportation administration at 888-368-7238, Bbb and attorney general. I will not stop until this company pays for all my damages. Beware! They are not movers like Jordan at American Wide relocation told me. They are brokers THAT hire illegals that will destroy everything you own. Their gutless owner at American Wide relocation does not even have the guts to contact me. If you have any questions about my review please contact me at Agilliam40@gmail.com. I also wrote a more detailed review on American Wide relocation website.

  14. Beware, not a moving company, they are BROKERS.

Absolutely terrible! NOT a moving company, just brokers.. They are so nice until you pay them a deposit to "lock down the prices per lb", complete bull sh*t. Chris gave us an estimate, which we were happy at first, then 2 days before they had to pick up the stuff, they double it!! Deposit is non refundable, so we had to stay with them,
JOSEPH HARRIS the owner, never there to resolve any problems or questions or promises he made. KATE from the customer service is a lier, told us for 2 weeks that our furniture is on the way, two weeks later we were told that our stuff has not even left.. ADAM when confronted, hangs up the phone and pretends he is not there.. They dropped the ball completely, no one knows what's going on in this company. Finally we got our stuff, 3 weeks later, when promised 5-7 business days, and few things are missing, few things are broken.. I can't stress enough how important it is to do a background check on your moving company. We paid them over $3000 as the brokers, and almost $2000 for the actual movers. If we knew better, we would just call the movers and NOT the BROKERS.

  15. Amazing company!

American Wide Relocation did an amazing job with my move. I was extremely nervous for my cross-country move, but they handled everything in a timely manner, and had the most helpful employees. I give them 5 stars!! Would absolutely recommend this company.
