1. California to Nevada

   Had a last minute need for a move from Northern California to Las Vegas, due to quick move in request from buyers of our home. Got a referral from my agent in Las Vegas for Dougherty Brothers Moving.
   
   After a quick phone call to describe my inventory and the details about our move, David gave me a very reasonable estimate, and was able to add the additional packing requirements that we had requested.
   
   The day of our move, the carrier arrived about 10 minutes late, but it was understandable as it was just around rush hour at the time and the traffic is horrendous. They didn't waste any time getting to work once they pulled in. They divided and conquered the items in the house, and in a couple hours had everything wrapped up, disassembled where necessary, and ready to go. Both guys were super respectful.
   
   After our experience with Dougherty Brothers Moving and their carriers, not only were they reasonably priced, but they definitely left us with a positive vibe also. We will definitely be using them again.

2. Liars liars liars

   They will contract with you and sell your contract to the lowest bidder in our case we had our items Stolen and destroyed (tens) of thousands of dollars worth of damage and stolen items and they’ve done nothing to remedy the situation..

   Thank you dougherty brothers moving for making our move a heck of a lot easier! I am so glad we threw out the rental truck idea that would've been such a hassle. Your company was so excellent and kind I would recommend you guys to anybody!!

   I wanted to find the best possible carrier that could accommodate our needs. Our move was sort of a pain because we had to have our storage unit moved with our furniture from our home on the same day on a weekend. We hired Dougherty Brothers Moving and the sales agent listened attentively to our requests and assigned a carrier out of Houston. I am happy to say they did a fantastic job and everything went like a breeze for us! I don't think I can say that for the crew, because we have some really heavy antique furniture!! haha. We really appreciate your team and the crew members for all of your hard work!

5. SCAM

   Worst experience ever. Take your deposit and disappear. Do not help with any other logistics. Picked a mover that is already under investigation in NJ. Eventually shipped with an uninsured trucker. Unable to deliver due to lack of insurance. Broker unresponsive and refused to help with problems in any way. Would do zero stars if I could. Total cost includes cost of secondary move caused by issue.

   The service is very professional, as well as Helpful! Thank you. We are loving our new home and did none of the lifting it was a good deal for us!

7. Exceptional Service

   Movers were super fast and got everything loaded without a hitch. Dougherty Brothers helped get a crew assigned that could do full packing and crating for a statue of ours that we treasure dearly. Nothing was damaged and the professionalism and attentiveness of both Dougherty Brothers and the carrier were exceptional.

   This company is overall excellent company, would use this company again. Thanks to the whole crew for a diligent job and affordable price. RECOMMENDED.

9. Refused to take inventory items and kept deposit.

   Movers came and agreed on price and inVentory before loading. After loading truck half way, foreman stated weighed too much and wouldn’t take the load, but would take what was loaded at the agreed price, which was half the goods. The foreman unloaded the truck and left due to weight, not contract inventory. Dougherty brothers refused to refund deposit, stating contract states cubic feet and I cancelled after truck loaded. Really. The foreman stated it weighed too much after loading and refused to take load. He didn’t know that before hand when he agreed the inventory was accurate? Customer service was notified during event and now refuses to take calls or return calls or provide management contacts. Refused to return my deposit. The truth is in the so called recorded phone conversations with customer service rep Clinton with me and the foreman.

10. Dougherty Brothers Moving

    I find them reliable and efficient. My new kitchen furniture got no damage after our cross country move. Thanks to the whole crew for a diligent job and affordable price.

11. Super efficient

    Super efficient team. The foreman was considerate of my concern with my TVs and packed them accordingly. We also had to go to my storage unit and shift a massive amount of furniture to find two pieces to take with and were super diligent. Can't say anything bad. Def would reuse.

    Great Value.. Was skeptical about having other people move my belongings.. But they were great!! Also Greg was very helpful with his amazing customer service which made the whole experience amazing!!

    I've moved multiple times over the years and this by far was the best experience I've ever had with a moving company. I highly recommend them and will definitely hire them again.

    Excellent work Dougherty thank you for all of your help! Our china glass was packed individually and handled very well everything arrived this morning without a scratch. We really appreciate it I fully recommend Dougherty Brothers moving!

15. Full service move

    They do a really great job at preparing you for the move day. After booking we got multiple emails with packing tips and a verification email that re explains everything with clarity. I gotta say I am suprised at how thourough dougherty brothers company is they really went above and beyond. From move day to delivery day everyone were friendly and did such a good job with our belongings. If you want a good and affordable full service move then look no further then dougherty brothers moving!
