Great job!!
Hawaiian moving Pros did a great job! They were very understanding with my situation and was able to move my appointment date 4 times over 7 months. The guys showed up on time and packed all my belongings into their truck and shipped them off to the mainland. They quoted me a date of arrival. They beat that date by 2 weeks. The team that unloaded my belongings did a great job. I haven’t noticed anything broken from the move. Thank you guys for all your help.
Long distance move from Oahu to California
What a phenomenal company and top notch customer service. I had a last minute move from Oahu to California. Moving overseas is not an easy task. I submitted for information and within minutes Mo call me. He explain to me how the process works from beginning to end and he answered all my questions and concerns. Daniel in customer service is amazing. I highly recommend them. If you want to get the best price call them and ask for Mo he will take care of you I am so happy I hired this company to help with my move. Their professionalism is outstanding.

Amazing service
Our move from Maui to AZ was amazing easy. From Chris in quoting me and helping me understand the process. Daniel our coordinator keep was informed the whole time. The moving teams on both ends where great. I knew all long where my goods where and they arrived on time which I thought was great considering the ports. Great experience from start to end and we had a home full of stuff to move. Thank you to everyone!!
Pickup
The pickup was done as scheduled even though a heavy rain was going on. The pickup was under cover. They did a fabulous job of wrapping the bed so that it should arrive on the mainland in perfect condition. The employees were so nice. Perfect gentlemen. Thank you so much.

Attentive and good movers. Items arrived quickly and everything went smooth. Nothing was damaged or missing.
Worst move I have ever had.
Salesman was very attentive and easy to reach. Once I scheduled my move and made the deposit that was the end of the good service. Could never reach my move coordinator, didn’t get confirmation of move date until 3 days before the move. Even though I made an inventory, the packers that showed up with a truck to small for all my stuff so I had to lose $2k in kayaks, a garage shelf and a luggage rack for our car. We were given a very unrealistic time from which was missed. Almost two months later we were told our items were arrived and given a 5 day delivery window. I prepared for the move and scheduled leave. Our items were finally delivered two weeks after the window after several excuses.
Upon delivery the truck showed up 3 hours late with our stuff stuffed in it like a teenagers closet. Broken mirrors, crushed filing cabinets, missing hardware, broken dresser, and a wrecked motorcycle is just a small list of what was ruined. We were told they would offer extra insurance on pick up which they never did. If offered I would have bought it since they only pay $0.60 per pound for the item that is ruined. I paid $500 for my motorcycle to be crated and they paid me $420 for the $2,600 damage they caused on it. Over $4k in damage total and they wrote me saying how bad they felt about everything and they were going above and beyond to make it right.
These guys hire the worst movers and don’t care about your items, do not use them!
Continent to Hawaii Move: Reno, NV to Pahoa, HI
Professional from first contact to delivery! Daniel & Michael were knowledgeable and walked me through every step of the process, making sure all questions were answered; responsive to emails, phone calls & text messaging; clear communication. Mover/Packer("Avi") in Reno was amazing, truly a professional & "artist!" Timeline for shipping was right on with no delays. Delivery team was great; made sure all items were accounted for & delivered. The few furniture pieces I shipped arrived in perfect condition; all other items arrived safe & sound as well, including 2 glass-front cabinets!
Great customer service
From the very beginning this company was awesome. They were super helpful and communicative, and I was able to easily reach my contact person by phone and email. They always responded to my emails quickly, and returned my phone calls quickly as well. I was quoted eight weeks for my goods to arrive from California to Kauai, but they arrived in four weeks. I was also able to bundle my two vehicles in with the move, which saved me about $1000. The door to door service was awesome, and everyone from the coordinators to the movers were super friendly and great. I would highly recommend this company, and use them again.
Hawaii to Arizona
All my boxes and stuff were picked up at my condo in Maui, Chris was awesome orchestrating my move. Once my stuff was picked up everything was handled by Danny.. Top notch service Mover guys were excellent on both ends Hawaii and Arizona, Everything arrived on time nothing broken. I can't believe some of these awful review I am reading but I would highly recommend Hawaii Moving Pros.
No Communication
Hired this company for move from Colorado to Lihue Kauai. No communication. Can’t get ahold of anybody. They picked up a small pod and have no idea where it is. I’m concerned this might be a scam and our belongings have been stolen. Based on all reviews I’m overly concerned. I only hope I will see my belongings again sometime
Really Bad Experience
My things were picked up in California on June 1st. I have still not received my shipment. No one answers the phone or returns calls. I am wondering if I will ever get my things. Do not do business with this company. You will regret it if you do.
Late 3 times, 3rd party contractor, changed invoice
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE! Didn't tell me my pick up time/date until 24hrs of my move! And on day of they were late 3 times! First it was scheduled for 9-11am, then 11am-1pm, then 3-4pm, and finally 6-8pm, WHICH THEY ENDED UP COMING AT 8:30pm!
Also Hawaii Moving Pros contracts a lot of their moving services to other 3rd party contractors on the mainland. The headquarters is not even in Hawaii as they are not a local company but on that operates out of California. They are simply a middle main who profits from their dispatch service. After some questioning I found that City Moving (1968 Williams St. San Leandro, CA 94577, 888-794-8808) would be moving my stuff. When the movers arrived a totally different branded truck arrived! You really have no idea where your possessions truly are as they are being transferred to different handlers.
After countless back and forth email they agreed to a discount which I really had to fight for and when the final invoice came they charged an additional amount instead of subtracting. This whole process just to get a $100 discount on a $3000+ order took almost a week. The are extremely unresponsive and often after your items are picked up will not reply back or pick up your calls.
Overall the biggest headache of an experience while moving at not at all worth the cost.
TLDR: They were late 3 times, middle man who uses 3rd party movers, invoice ended up higher after agreeing to a discount.
10/10 great service
I moved from Honolulu to LA and had a decent size move. This company was the only company who returned my quote inquiry and they did a phenomenal job with the move. All my items were intact and nothing was missing. The movers from Hawaii and California were very friendly, fast, careful, and did a great job. They wrapped and unwrapped all the furniture, TVs, beds, etc with blankets and boxes. I felt like my items were safe and secure. My moving coordinator, James, was the best! He called me every week to check in with me and he was very helpful throughout the whole process. My shipment took about a month and the price was better than i thought it would be. I highly recommend Hawaii moving pros to anyone who is moving between the mainland and Hawaii. Thank you James and team!
Shipped from PA to HI
Run the other way. They broke approximately 29 items and lost a lot more. We had packed totes and they were crushed and torn apart and so many heirlooms were lost on the way over! Only gave one star because some of our things arrived. They did not transport the vehicle according to contract, left e house we moved from with much damage and ripped wires from house and drove away. Police had to be called about damage. This was in July and still has not been rectified. I had such a horrible expience that I would not wish on my worst enemy. Cannot express the devastation we experienced from this company.
