  1. Do NOT use this company under any circumstances.

    This company uses bait and switch tactics to get you to book your move. They give you a quote and time estimate over the phone, then the day they arrive they "realize" that it will take longer than they thought and leave you paying $140 or more over your quote, and if you want to cancel it's over $500 to do so. They offer free 30 day storage if you use their services, but when you try to retrieve your items on your own, they tell you that your aren't allowed and you must pay them for delivery although the contract doesn't state you have to use them to redeliver your items. The only thing it states is that they charge a separate fee for re-delivery. I paid over $420 for them to move my 7 boxes, mattress & box spring, unassembled dresser and nighstand, side table, 2 barstools and 1 large bag into their storage. They are now stating if I exceed the free 30 day limit, then I will have to pay the monthly storage fee of $125. I have attempted to re trieve my items before the time period is up, but they will not allow me to retrieve my things. I understand that an estimate is just that, an estimate. Therefore, while I was displeased with having to pay $425 after intially being quoted $289 when I paid my deposit, I paid it. What I do not like, is being backed into a corner to pay another $400 to a dishonest company.

  2. Untrustworthy.

    This company provides one of the least expensive quotes of the bigger moving companies, when they arrived at the house, they have multiple charges that were not explained over the phone which added hundreds of dollars to the move. The day of the move there is not much one can do..especially if closing on a house that week. There were multiple walls and furniture damaged with no resolution. Avoid this company at all costs!

  3. Ripping off the elderly.

    My mother and her roommate were moving 3 miles from 1 assisted living facility to another. They quoted them 350 dollars. When the truck was packed they were informed it would be 980. Due to the fact that they were charged for the trip to and from Tampa. They were told if they did not pay that they would keep there stuff. They left a lot of belongings behind also. Do not use these scam artists!!

  4. Stay Away!!

    Once they gained my deposit to secure my move date, They called to try to change the date, Then they changed the time to Between 2-4pm. they showed up at 4:30 PM on a Sat. I told the dispatcher That I was moving a 3 Bedroom house.. I was quoted 4 hours.. When they arrived all the Furniture with drawers was wrapped in plastic, they say they use moving blankets.. they don't. They don't know how to load a truck. My file cabinets were loaded upside down. My husbands Locksmith box was dropped off the back of the truck with my waterbed mattress while it was Moving down the road because the crew did not secure the rear door of the truck.. at 10 at night.. They do not move mirrors, TV's My water bed liner was left at the old house with my close that were in the drawer of the water bed frame thrown on the ground. With the exception of my dinning table all of my handcrafted wood furniture has some type of gouge, or deep scratch, we won't discuss the book case and 2 computer desks that are no more, or the washing machine damage, and the missing Box of kitchen items..And the move was finally complete at 1AM!! the move from he@#@, and still assessing damage..

  5. Beware!

    This was the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with! From the start the salesman Matt was too aggressive and made me feel forced to move and all he wanted to talk about instead of my move was how horrible all the other moving companies were. After my move I don't see how any other moving company could be any worse. After strong-arming me out of a deposit, on move day they threatened me with a $550 cancellation fee which Matt neglected to mention if I didn't pay the astronomical price too have all my stuff wrapped. If you are considering this company do yourself a favor and pick ANY other mover. I don't see how this move could have gone any worse!

  6. Worst move ever.

    Worst move ever. How did I not read the reviews on them before I signed the contract? I am so disappointed in myself on this one. So please read the reviews on this company.

    I got the bait and switch as many others did on this string of reviews. They quoted me $558 for the move across the street. This was inline with all other movers so I just picked one that was persistent. Matt seemed courteous and informed but it turns out he was low balling for the sale. My move was scheduled for the Monday before Thanksgiving so I had no other options to cancel and reschedule. On the day of move, they re-quoted me $1001 for the move. I was stuck and had to do it.

    They damaged every piece of furniture - I mean every piece of furniture including a china cabinet that I paid them $158 to wrap.

    On arrival at my new location, they ran into and damaged a piece of the building. I have been subsequently charged by my HOA for the damages.

    The left items in the hallway..didn't take all items from the original location and they didn't reassemble any of my daughters bedroom furniture. Screws were missing. They literally left without telling me.

    On filing a claim, I have been provided conflicting guidance from the company.

    First, send and email to info@jetstream.com..which turns out to be a false address. I sent them the claim but it bounced back undeliverable a few days later. Then I was sent a claims form that requires a notarized signature that must be mailed, not emailed. The claim says that they will not pay out unless damage was noted on the bill of lading. How could I assess the damage before they move was complete?

    Worst experience ever. I will be working with the BBB, action news 8 and the attorney general to get resolution.

  7. Great Job!!

    I was on vacation and I booked with them over the over the phone and paid the $95 to secure my move date. I then read there reviews online a few days before moving and was really close to cancelling with them even if it meant losing the $95. I'm REALLY GLAD I DID NOT CANCEL. They showed up on time. Their foreman was excellent at explaining all charges and move fees. They did not waste a minute. While I was signing the papers, the helper was getting the truck & dollies ready for loading. They charge your card up front for estimated hours. I was a little worried about this too, but they refunded an hour and hit my card the same day the bill did as well as an emailed receipt for the refund. Yes they charge for tape and wrapping items, but the foreman only taped what I had forgotten to, and it was much better to pay for the tape than $95 an hour for him to wait for me to tape it. I had tried to wrap my couches and he tried to move it that way but it kept slipping. So he ended up wrapping two of my couches. All together the extra charges totaled $55. They did not pressure me in to any of these charges. At the new house they unloaded quickly and did NOT damage my walls. I had them move washer/dryer and 2 really wide leather couches up narrow stairs. Toward the end of my 5th hour (estimated 6 hrs) the foreman and helper started rushing in with remaining boxes and just setting them down. One of the boxes said upstairs master and I asked why he didn't take it up. He told me that if he didn't unload everything in 15 minutes he had to charge me for another hour. So I said thank you and let him do his job. Overall was really pleasant move. Thank you Rico & Travis. Also, one box was left on the truck, I was notified and they kept it at their office until I could pick it up.

  8. Wonderful Movers.

    Offering a BIG thanks to Jetsream Moving. Their movers are well trained and really showed their expertise to accomplish my move. I have hired them twice now that's including this previous move, and each time they did their very best. There was never any damage and they never complained about anything which was great! This company always makes me pleased by their job well done. My only concern was that dispatch could be more customer service friendly. I understand that they are busy and some people have their bad days, but they should be more considerate for the clients. I only had one call that was unnerving. All the others were great. Sales was very knowledgable and accurate. I would give 5 stars but that one call made me rate them 4.

  9. Horrible.

    I had just had surgery for breast cancer and this company caused me so much stress on my moving day, I had to stay in bed the next 2 days.
    This company lies,cheats,steals, and the staff is horrible
    Goldie is very unprofessional and does not know how to do her job
    Bradley is bold face liar!

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY** SCAM**
    I spoke to Bradley who was very reassuring that I would be done in 2 hours with 2 men, well they were supposed to do my move on Saturday and they called to tell me that a mover had called and it was too short of notice for them to find another man for the job, would I mind waiting until the next day, they never told me that I could cancel and get my refund back, I agreed to the Sunday morning.
    The driver called and let me know he was just a few minutes away. When he gets to my house he began telling me that I was going to need to pay for supplies to wrap things in bubble wrap and shrink wrap and mattress covers, I told him no all of my mattress have covers and don't worry about taking my TV's I will take them myself. Right there I knew this was not going to be good, I was so upset that this was not told to me over the phone. It had started to pour rain, he calls the dispatch to advise that it is raining the dispatch told him that she would stop the clock while it was raining that never happened. I was told by Bradley that no one with less than 5 years of experience is allowed on the moving truck that his men are the best movers and very qualified, well the person that was sent with the driver was a young kid who did not even know how to put boxes on a hand truck. The driver was moving the large furniture and the helper was the worst thing ever in the 2 hours he made three trips to the truck in total 12 boxes. The driver got most of the big furniture out . The dispatch kept on calling the driver every 10 minutes which in turn caused him to slow down as the clock was running on my time. During one call the driver dropped mattresses down the stairs because he had to answer the phone. Ten minutes later he says that's it I have to stop loading and move the truck because the dispatcher called and said that she had not seen the truck move and it was already 2 hours. Well had the send me 2 movers instead of 1 it would have been done. Once he got to the place of delivery the dispatcher called again this time I got on the phone with her (Goldie) she is the rudest person I have ever had to deal with. I told her that this was very unprofessional and I was lied to about the service and quality of work I would receive. I told her I am not paying for another hour and she told that she would have her driver drop my stuff on the street and leave. The driver was very upset and he did continue to help me and unload the things off the truck until it was all off.
    The dispatcher called to say that it would be 325.00 and I told the driver tell that woman that she is not getting another penny from me.
    I have sent email to them with no response.

  10. Moveing quote vs. actual.

    Worst move I have ever had in last 20 years. over priced .quote was $385 after they told me they had wrap glass shelfs for hutch only 5 2x4 they charged me $189, WHICH I HAVE MOVED 3 TIMES AND WAS NEVER CHARGED, THEY USED BLANKETS. This was a rip off and I called and complained and they said o well.I will never use this company again. I will use anyone but them..Be up front, do not hide charges.. I would have taken them in my car the 10 miles we moved before I would have paid that much. I should have use 2 men and a truck, but wanted to give these guys a chance..NEVER AGAIN..

    ‘This moving company lies to get your business and once they arrive at your home they double the price and blame the customer for not disclosing the true content of their home. They are all scripted to say the same thing. No integrity..don't allow this company to move you. Matt is just a sales person who doesn't know what he is doing or pretends he doesn’t after you call him out. Buyers beware’ Unfortunately I have not looked them up before I hired them. I had the same experience. They tripled the price and gave me an option to take it or leave it.Even if I agreed to pay, the movers had different plans and left after 3.15 hours. They uploaded my stuff and left before I could inspect it. ANd most was left behind, so that I had to organize antoher move. Almost everything is damaged. When I asked for an itemized list of packaging material I was called rude. When the attorney general asked for it, it has been altered after the fact. I will definitely do what I can against this kind of business practice. If you have bad experience, please involve the General Attorney, Florida. They will try to help you.

  12. Horrible.

    Do not use this company. They called 2 days prior to the move to let us know they had to change the move time. When we expressed our disappointment, the woman decided she would not move us at all and canceled the move completely leaving us with scrambling for a new moving company. This nasty woman at Jetstream said she would not move anyone unless she was going to get a good rating for the company. We told her we would accept the time change but she canceled the move and hung up on us anyway. Unprofessional, horrible customer service and after reading the review from another who said they were given one price but were charged nearly 3xs the agreed price, I'm thinking we got lucky they canceled our move.

    They are not BBB accredited but the BBB does show 7 complaints in the last 12 months.

  13. Never use this company.

    I move within Florida and had numerous issues with JetStream.  Once the move happenend and I reached back out to discuss issues, I never heard back.  See below for the issues we had.  STAY AWAY!!   1)      Hidden costs/Moving Supplies – At no point in conversation with me prior to the move did they inform me of the necessary supplies that would be required for the move (i.e. mattress covers, tape, shrink wrap).  It was an extra $120 on the day of the move. They did not offer or provide a list of supplies and costs that they would need, and when we reviewed the items in the move on the phone they didn’t mention that the couches and mattresses would require these items.  2)      Estimated Hours of Move – I was quoted that the move would take 4 hours,  however the move actually took 6 HOURS as the crew was very slow and lazy.  3)      Time Charged – I paid for the 6th hour and didn’t receive but 10 minutes work of work during that hour.  I was not upset that I was charged for the partial hour as that is expected.  I am upset that I had another 45 minutes left of that hour and the moving team left very quickly from our house as “they needed to hussle home”.  This wouldn’t be concerning if the job was complete when they left.  There were beds that hadn’t been assembled that were disassembled by your team, including one mattress still being in the cover.  There were also other items that hadn’t been properly moved and a total mess was left at my previous residence with tape rolls and packaging from mattress covers and shrink wrap. 4)      Assessment/Survey of Movers – While I appreciate being able to offer feedback on the moving team, it is totally handled the wrong way.  I had to answer a survey with them sitting next to me and seeing my review.  Of course, I am not going to give someone a bad review when they are sitting in my home with all of my items. 5)      Rush and Proper Care of Items – I have moved multiple times and I have never seen boxes more destroyed or taken less care of during the move.  These guys were in a rush to complete the job, which I understand to keep cost down, however, there was no reason for the rush.  While most of the items made it safely, the carelessness when dealing with boxes and some items was unreal.  6)      Final Cost vs. Estimate – Finally, it is very shady to not be upfront and honest with customers.  Their initial estimate was nowhere near the final cost of the move.  Many of the hidden costs (moving supplies) and extra hours were not presented to me upfront.   Please save yourself a hassle and a nightmare and don't do business with JetStream Moving.  They are a shady company and need to be put out of business.

  14. I'll use them again..

    This review might be a little late. My move was in July, but I did not want to give my opinion until I was fully unpacked. After unpacking and checking everything, I can now say these guys were awesome. My move was a big move and I needed everything packed too. These guys were so fast, I was actually concerned my things were not properly packed and thought some of my items were going to be broken. After opening every single box, everything was intact and my move was completed at my original estimate of 7hrs. I really thought it needed 9 to 10 hours, but my sales rep quoted me 7hrs and I actually told him my concern. From the sales team to the end of the move, everything was smooth and accurate. I definitely will use them again when I have to move again within 2yrs. I also would recommend them to everybody I know.

  15. Professional Service.

    I wasn’t even present when the movers from Jetstream Moving& Storage came into my house and finished the job. That is how professional and trustworthy they are. This company is just amazing. Their rates are just top-notch and always reasonable. The men they employ are very experienced and skilled. When I received everything, all my things were intact, not even a new scratch on any of them. I really don’t think another moving company exists that can show this level of reliability.
