  1. Bait and Switch! STAY AWAY!!

    We hired this company for a local move. We spent almost an hour on the phone going room by room explaining what furniture we had. They gave us a quote of $480. The day of the move they show up in a ratty old truck. Two movers, One that was still drunk from the night before. He immediately told us he could not move us for the quoted amount. He went through our house and came back with a quote of $890. He told us that if we did not want to use them that he and his counterpart would do it on the side for $400 cash. He also told us not to say anything to the moving company when we called them to cancel the move. We called this fly-by-night moving company and told them that we are not going to pay the higher amount and we wanted to cancel the move. They immediately charged my credit card $550 for the cancellation fee. We disputed the cancellation fee but found out today that we lost the dispute because the contract was signed. The problem is the contract was signed for the original quoted amount of $480. So not only did we lose $550 but we also had to delay our move because of these scam artist. Do not use this company. If you read the reviews they have a history of scamming people. Now we have to take them to small claims court in order to get our $550 they stole from us. They have not heard the last of me and I will blast them every chance I can get on every review board and social media.

  2. Great but not Excellent.

    These guys were awesome. They were on time and extremely fast and careful with my things. I was worried when they showed up. I was informed that the move was going to be 2-3hrs longer than estimated and I freaked. I called my sales rep and he told me that the foreman always over estimates than what they give and he reassured me don't worry. I had no choice since I had to move and during the move that was lingering in the back of my mind. The guys wasted no time and actually finished 20min less the my original estimate. I would recommend Jet to friends and family. I only suggest that the foreman should not scare clients with more time than needed.

  3. Horrible Company.

    First of all I had ask them to come by the house to see how much stuff I had. They assured me the truck was big enough. Guess what? Now they tried to rent me another truck for an additional 2200 to make up for their mistake. My tables arrive scratched. Some are missing. Glass tops, things were tossed around. Heavy boxes were but on stuff that read fragile destroy many things. A lot of stuff arrived broken including an old antique desk. The lady who is the boss is very unprofessional and rude. I wouldn't recommend this company to move a rats cage. Stay clear from this one.

  4. Worst movers ever!..and I've moved about 15 times before.

    I received a quote for $398.50 and ended up paying just under $750 -- almost double!  I knew I was in trouble when one of the two men started having me sign more documents than I signed when I bought a new car!  The move was only 5 miles and I took many of my belongings myself with at least a dozen full car loads.  There were no major appliances to move -- no washer, dryer, refridgerator, etc.. The workers were poorly equipped and extremely rough with the furniture -- almost every wooden item was either scratched or dented. I never saw any padded blankets used at all.  When the truck arrived at the new place, I had them unload most of the boxes into the garage just so I wouldn't get charged for an additional hour.  After all is said and done, I still need to find a way to get a pair of loudspeakers and a CD cabinet with glass doors moved because they claimed it couldn't be taken unless they were boxed!  They just left several items without even checking.  I really wish I had found this review site before I hired them.  They were absolutely horrible and I deeply regret hiring them.

  5. JetStream Moving - LIARS!

    I called and spoke with Matt, I provided the size of my home, an itemized list of all furniture and items to be packed and moved, I indicated that movers would be packing our entire home and moving all contents.  As with everyone else who has rated this company, they provided an estimate that supposedly took everything I'd indicated into account.  First I received an estimate that was lower than what Matt had said on the phone.  I emailed him back and gave him my list of needs again.  After two back and forth emails and two phone calls to go over details again, I finally got what he indicated was the "worst case scenario" estimate I originally asked for.  Sure enough, after arriving 90 minutes late on the morning of our move, the move foreman sat us down to go over everything.  On our estimate, there was a charge for four movers and 2 large trucks.  The foreman looked over the paperwork and said, "Hmmm, this is strange, they only charged you for packing and loading 1 truck, so this amount (the cubic feet) will be double if we use the second truck.  Oh, and they only quoted you 12 hours, this is going to be at least a 15-hour move."  Of course the cubic feet charge was the largest amount on the estimate, $2100, so he was basically telling me that the move was about to cost us $2100 more than the estimate AND another 3 hours at $125/hr. I insisted that he contact the owner since I wasn't paying another penny.  He called her and she refused to listen to him, talking over him, I could hear her through the phone.  Instantly, the driver started playing "good cop" when I demanded to speak to the owner on the phone.  She told him she didn't need to talk to me.  The estimate only included filling one truck.  Nobody could explain why they sent two trucks and billed me for two on the other portion of the estimate. After tons of yelling, I got her on the phone and she just spoke over me and kept saying the same things.  Then she told me to put him back on the phone.  They went back and forth and he hung up.   He, again, tried to play "good cop" and started bashing her, "they always do this, they get the job, then change on the client the day of.." He told me they wouldn't charge me for the second truck, but the hours would have to be paid if they went over 12.  he also told us there would be no way to get everything in the two trucks, so I had to go rent a U-haul, then he tried to tell us the owner would no allow them to load anything into the u-haul. The nexdt 17 hours of our lives were a HORROR.  Loud, rough movers, throwing things into boxes when we weren't looking.  They left items in every room and we had to go behind them and ask them to "pack" them.   They spent 10 hours packing and loading, 2 hours to get to our new house and five hours unloading.  They damaged just about every peice of our furniture, as we're now unloading boxes we discovered that they used barely any packing materials, they simply threw things in boxes and taped them up.  our pillows from our upstairs master bedroom were in KITCHEN boxes on top of dishes.  Our lamps from our bedroom were thrown in the bottom of a huge wardrobe box and things were piled on top of them.  Instead of using wardrobe boxes with hanger rods, they threw our hanging clothes into the boxes in piles, EVERTHING (including my husband's expensive suits) is wrinkled.  They scraped walls, damaged things and were SO loud outside our house at 12, 1, 2 in the morning that the new neighbors came to check on us.  They were disorganized, jumping from room to room and not finishing anything all at one time.  They yanked our washer and dryer out so hard that they bused the exhaust hose off the back of the dryer. They didn't wrap and protect any picture frames, wall hangings, or mirrors, they're just shoved in boxes. Now I know why they ask you to sign a paper that says you won't dispute any charges on your credit card! I'm filing BBB complaints, we're calling the owner tomorrow and going to their office to fix this.  Worst experience ever.   Do NOT hire these people to pack your belongings, do not hire them to move you, and do NOT believe their estimates, they lowball to get the job and then scam you on move day.    DISHONEST, UNPROFESSIONAL!      .

  6. Terrible company.

    This is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure to do business with.  They purposely underestimated the move of my 88 year old mother, and immediately upon arrival, tried to sell her additional space for a much higher price.  When we didn't buy into their scam, and I called the company about their poor estimate, they threatened to unload my mothers furniture.  You can imagine her stress level at that point.  They eventually agreed to take most of her things, not all of her things.  Upon delivery, they first showed up and told her they needed to unload the rest of the truck before they could unload hers.  She was left waiting the entire day, they showed up again in the evening.  They unloaded her without checking the inventory, and she was missing a box of her belongings.  She called the company and told them she was missing a box and they told her there was nothing they could do.  When contacting the company about filing a claim, they just blew us off and never replied to our request for a claim form.  Do not do business with this company, they are scammers.

  7. ** This Company is a Ripoff **.

    I contacted this company to get a quote on moving my household goods and the representative, Matt was very helpful..or so it seemed. He asked me about my household size and a description of my goods and advised me that my move would be $394. He advised me of the process and I submitted a deposit of $142.50. The movers arrived to my apartment later than scheduled which was the first issue. The second issue is that the driver/mover that sat down to explain the contract to me smelled of alcohol to a point that it was hard for me to sit next to him. The helper/mover looked like he would rob me the first chance he got and looked under the influence. The last and final issue is that the driver/mover advised me that the total charge would be $900 dollars to move less than 10 miles down the road for a two bedroom apartment. This was almost $600 more than the price originally quoted! I advised the mover that the company told me the move would be $394 and the driver advised me that the company is notorious for pulling the bait and switch. He further advised me to call the corporate office and cancel the move. I called to cancel the move and the corporate office was more than happy to do so..to the tune of a $500 cancellation fee. I was never advised of this cancellation fee and when I called in to question the charge I was advised that it was in the contract that I signed. This was such a joke as I never signed a contract. I was then advised that it was hidden in the deposit payment that was paid. I have called this company several times and spoken to Goldie, Bradley and several other people that have refused to provide their name. I have asked to have the matter escalated higher to no resolve. Now when I call I get sent to voice mail or they will answer and brush off the call and say that no one is there to assist or to email or mail my request to them. I have requested a copy of the original paperwork and have yet to receive anything. After looking at some of the other reviews on this site I am realizing that this company is a scam and they have some very unethical business practices. I am inquiring with my attorney about filing a class action lawsuit against this company so if you have been taken advantage of by this company please email me at lawrenceigma@yahoo.com with your name and contact information and I will provide you with all pertinent information to join this suit.

  8. Moving experiece.

    Terrible experience, I do not know how this company still in business, they lie in every step of the way. First since we were moving one bedroom Apt. with a piano, the salesman person told us he will send three persons to move the piano from the second floor,only two came, I  have to go to the street and get and pay for help. There is no way two people will move a Spinet piano even one fly down stairs. I was blame by Goldie for the type of stairs,then after being in storage in Tampa. Put in other semi, went all the way to Alabama, with out my consent, they most of time not take my calls, Lies and lies all the time, when the semi showed up there tires were so worn off that they could have an accident and all the furniture destroy,so a trip took 480 miles took 8 days, when arrived piano had some wood damage missing screws missing to assemble bed and dinner table. I do not recomend to any one to use this company. .

  9. Run Liars Work Here!

    This company deserves to rot.  DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY.  They should be banned from business and put in jail.  The sales people and this entire company are liars and dishonest from start to finish.  I know, I had them show up to my place and double my rates.  When I refused to work with them they held me to a contract for cancelling the day of.
    I didn't really know companies like this were allowed to stay in business anymore.  If I could I would sue them and hope htey would shutter their doors for good.    .

  10. Terrible awful.

    I wish I had read these reviews before I used this company. WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A SCAM! The slick sales person from Jet Stream told me after I went into detail about my items that it would cost only $350 including the $150 deposit. The move took 6 hours and I was charged almost $900 dollars! I have moved all of the U.S and never have I had such a experience this bad with any company. The mover tried to warn me when he got to my home that I would be charged more once he had my things in his possession, however I did not understand what he was saying until it was to late. When the mover got to my new home it was raining down in sheets. I asked them to stop moving but he said his boss refused saying any time they stopped I would be charged for. I called the owner of Jet Stream and she was possibly the rudest business owner I have ever talked to. I do not understand how a company like this can stay in business. I am a single mom with 2 small children and I was in tears when I learned the real price. I even talked to the sales person and asked him how he sleeps at night, he responded "very well." There has got to be some type of law against this type of scam. When the mover got to my home he told me I had to authorize another almost $800 dollars on my credit card or he would take all my things. The mover stated that this happens in every move with this company! DO NOT USE JET STREAM MOVING AND STORAGE!! A TOTAL SCAM!! And many of my valuables like my antique desk are ruined now because of the rain. Terrible awful people!!

  11. Run The Other Way!!

    The worst moving experience of my life.  Rude people, tried to run scams, screened phone calls, etc. etc.  They will try to overcharge you above and beyond what they quote you.  They charge you for packing materials that they NEVER use.  They will forget stuff, they will damage your home, they will damage your furniture.  They will not apologize.  They will yell at you.   My piano/poor customer service ·         I supplied information about items I needed moving including, a standing piano.  As soon as the movers arrived they mentioned that they were going to charge me an additional $200 to move the piano above and beyond what the initial quote (10/20/14) was for my packing list.  I had to call Jet Stream and speak to a rep about the possibility of this additional charge.  I was told by my movers that the coordinator wanted them to make me sign a document that made me liable for any damages incurred when they moved the piano.  ·         We had to move the piano, they almost dropped it, they almost broke the legs—very stressful.   Customer Service: ·         John mentioned that he would call me back with confirmation on my piano and never did so I tried to call him back.  This is when I had my phone call screened—I called and it rang 5 times until it went to a message then I used a friend’s phone 30 seconds later and they picked up after the first ring. ·         There were no tools in the truck to remove the feet from the couch.  We were told to go buy tools for them to use. ·         I was initially told 8 or 9 am for a start time and then when I called to confirm that they were coming 48 hrs in advance of the move, I was told early afternoon for arrival/start of move and then had drivers show up at 10 am.  The coordinator called and rudely asked where I was at 10:20 am and said that she “told me early afternoon” to which I replied, “it is not after 12 pm.”  --curt response and poor time management/communication ·         One driver smelled like alcohol and used my restroom 5 times in the course of 4 hours.  He referred to me as “sweetie” and asked if I was alone.  Then he asked if I was moving some place alone. ·         He did not unhook or hook back up my washer and dryer ·         They forgot items and I had to load them into a friend’s car—patio table top (item on my move list) ·         They disassembled my bed but did NOT reassemble it ·         They stood around a lot and we asked what they were doing to which they would start unloading/reloading again.     Damages:  I mentioned all damages to my drivers and documented them with photographs.  I have since noticed other damages incurred by the move including floor molding being ripped from the wall that I had to reaffix (pic included), but, I am only presenting those documented during the move.

  12. Dishonest or incompetent..?

    This moving company lies to get your business and once they arrive at your home they double the price and blame the customer for not disclosing the true content of their home. They are all scripted to say the same thing. No integrity..don't allow this company to move you. Matt is just a sales person who doesn't know what he is doing or pretends he doesn't after you call him out. Buyers beware!

  13. Moving experiance.

    Please I beg the public do not use this compnay , they are a bunch of liars I am talking from first hand experiance , they arrived on time to pick my furniture , however they did not specify on the phone that they have hidden charges for packing materials which should be naturally provided , they charge fee $133 for packing tape to tape up the blankets to cover the furniture , they charge for bubble wrap to pack any mirrors .and they gave me a time of 3 hrs in which the whole job woud be done , it took them 1 hr to travel from orlando to winter garden a 15 mile drive approximately a 20-25 min drive the driver had alchol smelling on his breath when he arrived at the desination . they finished offloading and putting the stuff up within the 3 hrs but refused to charge me for three hrs but 4 hrs because the paper was not signed tharts an extra $95 for nothing theses people I will never recommend or use this company and I most certainly hope people do not use them to . they are a bunch of crooks .

  14. This moving company should be ashamed!

    .Jet stream moving tells you false shipping quotes.They will go back and change email attachments and also information about your contract.This company has not only ripped me off but has me disappointed me that they have no morals,sad! Sharon and Matt how do you sleep at night .I can as I would rather lose money then cheat a fellow human being. That was only one problem.They were to pick up my furniture on 9/29/14 they never showed up.I called them and said they would be there on the 30th.Told them I could not be there and I would be on my way to Arizona.They told me Just have some one there.I had a friend who said she could be there.I was on a plane to Arizona at the time they picked and my friend couldn't reach me.They told her it would be 1300 more for the shipping.She couldn't reach me so she signed there new contract.I was not given the chance to be there to sign this.I tried to negotiate 400 dollars off this price because I could not be there.Sharon at jet stream said no negotiations and that's it.I'm sorry they did not due the right and moral thing.I almost embarrassed to write this as they have scammed me. Please research movers first !This company jet stream has no morals! Sharon I hope you will think about your morals also! Bummed out in Arizona. Don't trust these people!   15. Liars, run!

    This company is evil.  They straight up lie to you during the estimate.  They say yes to everything and then the movers when they show up laugh and say that the estimate is way off.  Cancelling at that time means you lose $550.  $550 to cancel!  Run with your money to a good moving company that is honest.  Pay the extra money.
