  1. Unethical Mover

    Moving Relocation Systems Quoted $6,440 and ended up charging $14,000. They were totally unresponsive to my requests for information to support their failures and would not send me documents. They were supposed to hold items for 30 days before delivery & delivered within 5 forcing me to rent 2 storage units. My salesman would not return calls or emails once things went bad. I had to hire others to move from my storage to my home within the 30 days. Using 5 other movers over the years they were the absolute worse. I would not recommend them. They made promises to get business and just did what they wanted after that.

  2. This company is a sham! Completely awful-Do not use!

    DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THIS COMPANY TELLS YOU! I would give this company zero/negative stars if I could. Their salesperson Israel is very nice on the phone and truly makes it seem like he is looking out for your best interest. Don’t worry, after you pay you’ll never hear from him again.

    I was told different pick up days (mind you this is after I spent my time calling and chasing them down) and was told the movers would call 30 min prior to arrival. No call just showed up. This was Wednesday. Immediately the man in charge said oh you’re way over the amount they quoted you. I knew we had more and prepared to owe more but Israel assured me they left room for “items you may have forgotten.” Well after about 7 hours of disassembling/packing the truck my husband was told it was $3K more than the original quote. My husband and I had everything labeled and mentioned the second paid for stop to them but they just loaded it all on the truck (more to come on that later). We also were told 0-9 business but the movers told my husband, “I hope we have someone to get this to you it probably will be about 14 days.” When I asked Jennifer about this she said she was unsure and said she would call back-never happened.

    Thursday with no call back and Friday I called REPEATEDLY to see if our stuff had left and really what the time frame was. When I finally got ahold of Jennifer, she said that it was 0-9 days but our stuff hadn’t left yet. Monday I called again repeatedly and was told Monday night or Tuesday morning and Jennifer would call as soon as it did. Tuesday afternoon I still hadn’t received a call and so I had to call REPEATEDLY to get someone on the phone. When Jennifer finally called me back she said it was leaving that day and would probably get there Thursday or Friday. We would receive a call with a delivery window.

    Wednesday all day we did not get a call so I assumed it was not coming until Friday. That’s fine. Thursday all day I did not receive a call so again in the afternoon (mind you while out with my kids at the zoo) I had to spend a lot of my time chasing down Jennifer to find out she was off that day and no one else had details of the move. WHAT!?! Finally I got a restricted call from Jennifer’s personal phone and she said, “I’m calling you because the office keeps saying you’re calling what do you need?” What do I need!?! I need to know if my stuff is coming the next day! Hello!! She had to put my on a long hold and when she got back to me she said, “its arriving tomorrow from 12-5. They will call you 30 min prior to arrival.” Okay, great.

    Friday now. No call and as the afternoon goes on I’m more and more sure it’s not coming. Finally at 4:15 I try to call the office again (and again, and again, and again…see the theme here?). I finally get a TEXT MESSAGE from a random number saying the movers are delayed and won’t be coming but will be there on SUNDAY. The text asked me to confirm I understood but when I tried to call the number no one answered and no one answered when I texted back asking for a phone call. Okay, Sunday was not a day they said delivered and it’s also Halloween and I have two small children. After calling again and again to try to get a window, a supervisor, someone who could answer where our stuff was and when it was actually going to come no one answered (not surprising). At 7:45 pm I get a text from ANOTHER random number saying sorry I missed your call call tomorrow after 10 am.

    Saturday no one answered at the number and again I have to call repeatedly to get ahold of someone-the new window is Sunday 3-4 pm. No doesn’t work for us again it’s Halloween so they say Monday 8-10 and that they’re giving a credit back to my CC and will send a receipt that day-never came.

    Monday comes, movers tell me they might get there by 11am, not the window I was quoted. Finally speak to a superior, they zelle me the refund. The movers call to say it will be 12 pm when they will arrive and seem confused about the second stop. The supervisor calls back to say they did not load correctly-knew that from the beginning when they disregarded my husband. They have to unload the whole truck and have me separate out what’s staying. Then they pull off things that aren’t mine mixed in so who even knows if something is missing. Couldn’t take a full inventory or have the boxes placed in correct areas because I was busy figuring out what was what. So now I have a ton of boxes to lug back upstairs that I had to put downstairs so my house was livable.

    I will say the local men hired for the unloading were super polite. I requested more of a refund because yet another issue, lack of communication and overall waste of my time. I was assured fromJennifer someone would be calling by 7 pm. Never got a call. Please save yourself the headache and hassle, annoyance and frustration with this company and find someone better who will respond to you, the paying customer, without giving you the run around.

    I was referred to this company by a friend I have nothing but good things to say about this company and the service I received My estimate stayed the same as i was quoted, my items were delivered on time and had no damages Cheryl and Jennifer were excellent to work with and I have no complaints I will refer them to my friends n family

  4. Deception

    We hired this company and worked with Israel to move us from MA to FL. We needed 2 stops with 1/2 our stuff going to the apartment and 1/2 our stuff to storage because we hadn't bought a house yet.

    The driver called me a few hours before he got here. He told me he would not make 2 stops even though it was in my contract. He told me he has never made 2 stops and he would not! He told me to call Jennifer. I called Jennifer and told her what he said. She told me she would talk to the driver and her manager and call me back. I said he will be here in ½ and hour are you sure you will call me back to tell me how to proceed. She said yes…An hour past and she never called me back. I called her many times, left a message, kept calling her and she wouldn’t answer.

    The driver arrived at our apartment and told us we needed to rent a uhaul truck. He would meet us at the storage unit because there was no way could pull his truck in the complex. He also told me again he would NOT make 2 stops he doesn't so that. He told me he would unload the stuff with the white stickers into the truck to bring to the apartment and the stuff with the green stickers in the storage unit. We would then have to drive the uhaul back to the apartment and pay the labors to unload the truck. Keep in mind the only reason we hired movers to pack our belongings and move them for us is because we didn’t want to have to move things ourselves. My husband has a bad back and I have bad knees. When we hires Relocation services we did NOT sign up for this sh*% show.

    Moving along, we really had no choice but to do what the driver suggested. The main office wasn’t calling us back, nor did they ever.

    I got on the huge semi truck trailer and helped direct what was going where (white stickers in the uhaul and green stickers in the storage). Then I noticed there were around 5 bins, couch cushions that didn’t belong to me. They had white stickers but the wrong number. This was in the middle of my load. They were pulling things off the trailer like my table saw and mitre saw without being in boxes or wrapped in a blanket. Pieces of the saws where on the ground. I scooped them up and put them next to my purse. They put that stuff in storage and the labors did not know how to pack so they just filled the storage unit all willy nilly as well as the uhaul. It was so bad that we had to rent another Uhaul to put the over flow in. In fact the lady who worked at the uhaul had already went home because the place had closed but drove back to get my husband another truck. Once everything was on the uhauls and in the storage the driver was in a hurry and told me to sign and he left.

    The labors followed us back to our apartment and unloaded our stuff for us and we paid them $600.

    My contract says I was getting 2 stops, disassembly of furniture and assembly of furniture, FULL WHITE GLOVE SERVICE. I didn’t know they meant surgical glove!!!

    The following day I was unpacking the things in the apartment and found 2 “My Pillow” Mattress toppers that didn’t belong to me. I could see how this could be a mistake since we own one. But why in the heck was their stuff mixed with mine? I emailed Israel and told him I had them and that Jennifer should have called me back yesterday. I also told him I would contacting a lawyer. He emailed back and told me he was sorry and he would fwd to Jennifer and his manager.

    Jennifer emailed and told me she would send UPS to pick up the mattress toppers and sent me a link to make a claim.

    We paid $19,186.00 for Moving Relocation Systems. $551.00 for extra insurance through PAF. $600 to the labors. 2 Uhaul trucks and had to get an extra storage until to put the overflow in the following day.

    I have to say this is one of the worst experiences I’ve had in my life. I don’t even know if we are missing things because I won’t be able to go through it until December when we move into our house.

  5. Moving Late Son's Possessions

    Worked with Cheryl, through a sad and trying experience, following death of our 53-year-old son. Service was excellent, and final charges matched their estimate, which seemed reasonable. We're comfortable giving them 5 stars.

  6. DO NOT USE MOVING RELOCATION SERVICES

    The whole moving experience using Moving Relocation Services was and is still a nightmare. Try either lost or broke multiple items. When you try to contact them they do not return your phone call. They scam you by claiming they don’t have any of the required documents to put in a claim with their insurance company (very convenient for them not you). Chris is your best friend up until you’ve sign on the bottom line, then he doesn’t know you. Customer service is nonexistent. They don’t live up to their end of the contract. Maybe if enough people stiff them out of paying they might change their business practices, but probably not. LET THE BUYER BEWARE ?

  7. Worst EVER

    I moved from NY to TX and the original estimate/quote was only HALF of what I paid. When they packed for you, they threw everything into boxes to increase the volume (they charged by cubic feet) so that they can charge you more. So it is better to pack by yourself. Also, I was told it will be delivered in 12 calendar days and after 12 calendar days, the customer service told me that they have 21 business day to deliver by law. Yep, when they are late, they decide to talk about laws and rules to their customers.

    It has been over 14 calendar days and I have not received my stuff. They won’t call you to give you an update. You have to call them.

  8. The worst move yet

    I honestly can't give a poor enough review. They constantly gave me misleading or wrong information, questionable policies, and very clearly didn't care about me or my well-being. I had to sleep on the floor for a month because they couldn't give me accurate information or track their drivers appropriately. I feel completely taken advantage of. The only consolation was a $300 discount which for the price of my move in total was insulting. I want everyone to know how terrible this moving system is

  9. HORRIBLE!! Lost item - NO service, NO Return Contact

    There's no "zero stars", or I would leave that as their rating. They lost a very critical piece of personal goods, and have done nothing to try and locate it and get it back to me. I have sent countless emails asking for status of finding the lost item, and have received absolutely zero feedback. Horrible company, that advertises themselves as a family owned business who takes personal care with your home goods to protect and deliver them. This couldn't be farther from the truth. Stay away from this company if you value your personal goods.

    We moved a 3 bedroom from MA to FL...We did the initial inventory with a video walk through and we thought the quote was reasonable. The 4 guys who came out packed up the truck quickly and carefully. They were very nice and the cost difference was about $150 from the original estimate we had then do some packing. We took advantage of the 30 days free storage and after closing it was about 5 days to get everything down to the new house. Communication was great and we were really pleased overall. Would recommend using them.

  11. Everything ruined

    Moved from NJ to Ga , everything was packed in the truck in NJ with black moving blankets. When arrived in Ga at 7:00 at night during a tropical storm no moving blankets to be seen, everything was uncovered and ruined because nothing was protected with the moving blankets! Where did they go!? and of the storm. All our belongings were damaged. No one answers after they get there money. Ali did the sale, then Jennifer takes over, and you get screwed

  12. Very Satisfied Would Recommend

    I recently moved from N.Y. to Fla. All of my items arrived in excellent condition and my delivery date that I requested was met. I had many irreplaceable items which included several heavy pieces of antique furniture, a baby grand piano and a grandfather clock. I was very impressed with how the men worked together as a team to pack and load my items on the truck .I had hardwood floors and not a scratch. My estimate only increased $200.00 from the original one that I was given. I did bring more plastic bins than I had on the quote. So, all in all, I was very happy with their services. Special thanks to Cheryl and Jennifer. I was in very good hands. I will recommend you to family, coworkers and friends. Moving is very stressful and from the minute I spoke with Cheryl, I knew she was capable of being entrusted with my goods. She explained the moving process to me in detail and did not leave one stone unturned. I am very grateful for her and her team. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

  13. Misleading company

    I was waiting for my claim to come to an end to write my review. This was the first time that I used a moving company. The person who did our quote was very nice and respectful, the problem that I have with them is that they don’t explain to you the whole process in detail.

    My husband was given a price over the phone and when the truck came in (late) and everything was in, the movers told us the the price was not 1600 as we were told but 5,000 because our stuff took up to much space.

    They have an insurance company in case something gets broken or lost. (tricky) the items are value by weight instead of what you paid for it. $0.60 cents per pound.

    When the truck arrived to Florida, I was delivered two broken tables, two broken lamp shades, one vase and two missing bottles of whisky.

    I submitted a claim and just now I received the results.

    $24. 00 for each table that I paid almost $200 respectively.

    $12.00 for the shade lamp

    $0.00 for the vase because I pack it.

    The frustration that I feel is overwhelming the lack of communication is made on purpose so you over pack and they make money out of you. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

  14. I would not recommend

    I am giving this a two star review because [NAME EDIT] was so helpful. She was the person who gave me the quote and helped me when no one else in the Company would respond to my emails and voice messages. Getting the quote was easy and thanks to [NAME EDIT], I was able to reschedule once because I had a last minute emergency. It was downhill from there.

    1. The movers came over an hour later than the latest window period. (I missed my flight due to their delay). They only called me after the window period to tell me they were delayed.

    2. I watched the movers as they pushed my couch down a flight of stairs instead of picking it up and moving it.

    3. They also made me add boxes for pillows that could have been wrapped with the sofa (as it was when I shipped it overseas), and then told me I had to pay more because I went over my limit. (this was December time, none of the movers came into my apartment with a mask on, I had to ask them to put it on)

    4. Once we finished with the move, I tried to contact the moving coordinator multiple times to let her know that I needed to coordinate the delivery because I was storing my stuff in an air BNB which I needed to coordinate to make sure no bookings at the time of delivery. She took days to call me back and she didn't call me back until I reached out to [NAME EDIT].

    5. I then spoke to some warehouse guy that told me they would not put the stuff on a truck before he would call me and get my OK. I got a call about a week later telling me the stuff was already in Texas and would be delivered the next day.

    6. I had to scramble and get a storage unit. Because of the inconvenience the company agreed to reduce the price by 400 dollars. But then told me that I had to pay another 400 dollars because my storage unit would not fit an 18-wheeler, even though I got ASSURANCES from the storage unit site manager that 18-wheeler trucks deliver to the unit ALL THE TIME.

    7. When I finally got my stuff in the storage unit, the stuff was all scratched and the stuff was just thrown into the unit. I have a box spring that was only a month old that has a huge rip down the middle due to the move.

    I was very upset and spoke to [NAME EDIT], she said she would be in-touch for a further discount. I haven't heard from her since, and it has been almost 3 months.

    Please think twice before using this company.

  15. Excellent Moving Company

    I have never moved out of state before. I was very concerned about my baby grand piano and my heirlooms. I chose the white glove service and had all of items professionally packed. I could not have chosen a better option. All of my items arrived on time and in excellent condition. My estimate did not increase as promised. I highly recommend this company and will use your services again should need arise. Moving is so stressful. They are family owned so I didn't have to wait to have my questions answered at any time. From my first point of contact through delivery, the process couldn't have been easier. Cheryl, Jennifer and Manny went beyond my expectations through out my move. Thanks guys for a job well done!
