  1. Moving.

I have booked with moving relocation systems two times now, while living in New York. The first one was within my first house in Brooklyn NY and my second move was about 2 years later to Connecticut. I had a great experience both times so I decided leave them a review here.
Booking the moves were pretty straight forward and easy both times. I emailed back and fourth with Dylan a few times to iron out all of the details and make sure all my questions were addressed. I shopped around for some estimates and these estimates were the cheapest both times.
The crew showed up right on time. They introduced themselves and were friendly and easy to work with. The team worked hard until every item got unloaded. I bought water and some snacks for them throughout the day. They wouldn't even stop to drink some water! I definitely appreciate the full effort. I also received follow ups from Dylan throughout the process. The total cost both times stayed around the same based on everything else.
My experience overall was a great one and I am glad that it worked out both times.

  2. Overall top of the line.

My experience was nothing short of perfect. I can't begin to express how great of a company this was. They were hassle free and they really really worked to help me out. The dispatch and customer service department was so friendly and made sure my move was executed correctly. I am not very familiar with moving companies since this is my first time moving but what I can say is that Moving Relocation will make sure you are a happy customer!

  3. Satisfied.

Due to work reasons I recently moved with Moving Relocation Systems from New York to California. Moving across country was hard as anyone could imagine but in my situation it was a struggle. I decided to use a moving company because I knew I wouldn't be able to do it alone.

Let's start with the first phone call. My sales representative was very professional, he made me feel very secure in shipping all of my things with their company. I cannot fail to admit the fact that the relocation services were impressive. Moving Relocation did such a great job. I admire the enthusiasm and passion shared by the movers during the relocation. I am impressed by the fact that these movers were willing to do anything to ensure perfect relocation. It will be my greatest joy seeing them relocate me again.

The foreman on the day of my pick up was so sweet, took his time to explain everything to me and make sure that I understood all the fine print and details in the contract. My delivery day in California was scheduled and I couldn't have been more relieved to see all of my things in great condition!!

  4. My experience.

I don't ever write reviews but I felt this company needed my positive review. I used them a couple weeks ago and had a great experience. My items were picked up based on what I had given the sales rep over the phone. My pick up went good. I let them know when I could receive my deliver so they were aware and sure enough that went as planned. My delivery day came and all my thing were brought to me in good condition. I couldn't have asked for a better service.

  5. Dishonest, Unreliable, Destroyed and Stole our things.

I wish I could give negative stars! Moving Relation Systems are unprofessional liars who don't take responsibility for the theft and damage that occurred during our move. They make false claims like "All moves done through Moving Relocation are done by our crews and drivers!" They used guys they picked up on street corners looking for work. I know this because they didn't seem to know that they were doing and I asked if they worked for the company. The one who spoke a little english said they had been picked up near a local Home Depot to do the offloading in Las Vegas.

They did not give us the pamphlet that is required by law explaining our rights and responsibilities.

I was assured by Senior Moving Consultant Josh, Manager Dylan and partner Mike that my items would go directly from the box truck onto a tractor trailer. I specifically stated I did not want my possessions stored in a warehouse. My load out was rushed because they said a tractor trailer was specifically waiting for my items and would leave that night for Las Vegas. I only found out after the disastrous move that my stuff was put into a warehouse and then loaded the next day.

I could not communicate with the crew during the load out because only the driver spoke english. This created a problem because I had specific instructions for some very delicate items that were marked very fragile and had to be handled with extreme care. We had several boxes with musical equipment that had arrows indicating which way they was up and wrote DO NOT STACK ANYTHING ON TOP. These instructions were either ignored or not understood, because the boxes that showed up were smashed, crushed, shredded and some never arrived.

My agreement was the crew was to drop certain things off at a storage facility and load most of the items onto a U-Haul. They would deliver these items to my new home, and reassemble the furniture they took apart in New York. After loading most of my stuff onto the U-haul, the driver told me they were not going to be able to deliver the items to my new home because they were running late. They left me stranded in a new city in 110 degree weather with a full U-Haul, mattresses and boxes on the pavement and no way to get them to my new place. I had to leave my things unattended while I looked up a local mover. This came at an additional expense to me, which Mike said he would reimburse, and never did. I was left with a disassembled sofa, reclining chair, and two bedroom sets at 10pm after an extremely stressful day.

Most of the boxes that arrived were either smashed, crushed or out right shredded. Some were opened and it appeared to have been rifled through. Precious photos were flying out of shredded boxes. They were supposed to check off every item as it was offloaded to ensure everything arrived. The driver refused to do that and just instructed the crew to unload the truck. At least 12 boxes never showed up, including a filing cabinet with important documents, musical equipment, games and game consoles, laptops, iPads, kitchen appliances and clothing. Our identities could be in the hands of heaven knows who, since they used non employees to handle our precious items. There were at least two boxes that were in the shipment behind ours that they insisted were not ours, but I could clearly see were ours. After arguing with the driver, who was in an extreme hurry to leave, he agreed to look at those boxes, which were, in fact, ours. We received boxes that did not belong to us. There were no identifying markings on them and we have no idea who they belong to. When there were items in question during offloading, the driver asked "is this yours"? This is further proof of the disorganization and irresponsibility of the crew.

Since we know they used non-employees who were picked up on street corners, we have no idea how many people had access to our shipment along the way. How do so many items go missing? How do almost all the boxes show up crushed, smashed or shredded? We're talking heavy duty moving boxes. How does a supposedly reputable company allow people hanging out on a street corner to handle their client's belongings?

This has been a nightmare, adding way too much stress on top of an already stressful cross country move. The owners of the company (Rob and Mike) asked me to let them make this right, but never called back and stopped returning my calls after I refused to be bribed with an offer of $800 to not report them or write bad reviews. We lost over $8,000 of items, including precious family photos and keepsakes that no amount of money can replace. I had to fill out a police report for stolen items. Our identities could be in the hands of some person what was picked up on a street corner. I am furious and heartbroken. This company should not be allowed to conduct business. If I could do it all again, I would never in a million years use Moving Relocation Systems.

Lastly, I think the links in their email were from some sites that they pay to not have bad reviews (these sites didn't publish my reviews) or from people who were paid to write good reviews. As I said they tried to "buy" my silence by offering me $800 to not report them or write bad reviews.

  6. Unprofessional, hellish experience.

My experience with Moving Relocation Systems was hellish and unprofessional.~ ~ TL;DR: Their front-end movers coerce you into a tip, they over-use packing material to up-charge you, and their admins are desk jockeys that cannot remember their responsibilities.~

~The estimate started innocently enough. BUT IT IS A BINDING ESTIMATE, do not overstate your belongings, or you will be held to the higher estimate, even if your goods weigh less. On the phone I set up my pack out date, and my delivery date. I explicitly asked if the delivery date was subject to any uncertainty, they said no, your goods will be delivered on X date, the only uncertainty would be weather or other natural disaster.~

~When the movers actually came to move, they inflated their price by gouging you on moving supplies and OVERTAPING all the boxes. I had pre-packed all my boxes, and they re-taped them with an excessive amount of tape. WHO TAPES A DUFFLE BAG?!? Not even in places that matter, just indiscriminate taping. That lead to a tape surcharge of $126 for 42 rolls. Before they left, the foreman instructed me that I could either pay $400 for a “long carry” because they didn’t reserve a spot to park (and they didn’t show me a measurement with any type of tape measure, etc.), or I could give them a $300 cash tip. They did not clean up the disaster zone they left behind, which included bare razor blades ON THE FLOOR, and all the empty rolls of tape. It had been a long and stressful day, so I just handed over the lesser amount.~

~The same day, I received a call that my shipment weighed less than the binding estimate, and was told that I still owed the higher amount. At this point I was livid. I explained how my day at the pack out went, the cash tip, bare razor blades, and general level of dissatisfaction I had. The employee credited the account the cash tip and said that this type of behavior is not representative of the company.~

~When I was waiting for the shipment on the other end, I received a call that my goods will be delivered the day after they were promised. I told them no, you actually promised me this date. If your weight estimates are binding, so must your delivery dates, I will not accept that binding agreements with your company only work in one direction. I told them to listen to their customer service tapes and find that it was actually explicitly stated that my goods would be here no later than date X, and that I planned travel around this date, so unless they want to refund the flight-change fee, they better be here by date X.~

~It turns out, they packed the truck backwards and had to start out on the furthest distance and work back up. This is the level of incompetence at the company.~

~Make sure your boxes are packed so they can be shipped in any manner, upside down, sideways, etc. Several boxes were shipped upside down, including a full rolling-tool-chest.
My unpacking was much smoother. The movers were very quick and professional. I actually felt joy handing over the tip and buying them lunch. There was only one “broken” item, and they fixed it on the spot. (We did not ship any TVs, computers, or sectional sofas.)~

~The overall moving of the belongings was okay, but the customer service was abysmal.

  7. Excellent Move Experience!!

We moved from our first home in Parkville, MD to our new home in Lawrenceville, GA. Moving Relocation Systems provided us with the packing of all our "stuff" and moved us on one of the hottest days of the year. The crew was conversational, professional, and most importantly, right on estimate. From first contact Moving Relocation Systems was extremely helpful.

  8. Moving and storing.

The staff at the moving relocation systems were very polite specially Mike at the customer service and the sales Rep, Rob. They moved our items to their storage at first and then moved them to another state. They try their best to work it out for you. A few tips to avoid conflicts and confusion would be to count your boxes and items before you sign the list of items being transferred and also to understand what your agreement says about floor level and steps.

  9. Would Hire Again!

So thankful I chose Moving Relocation Systems. I have never moved long distance before, so I was really nervous. I took my time and shopped around. After speaking with Dylan, I felt a
certain level of comfort. I decided to go with this company, with Dylan as my moving consultant. The pricing was good. They weren’t the lowest or the highest. I had no surprises on moving day. The crew was professional and worked very quickly. I would definitely recommend them again!

  10. Cross country move!

I want to truly thank Moving Relocation Systems for an amazing experience with my cross country move. Special shout out to: Rob, Alfred, Dylan, Mike, Eric, Manny, Richard and all their respective teams. My stuff arrived on time, safely and not one thing was missing or broken. They worked with me every step of the way to alleviate any concerns I had. I am so glad I chose Moving Relocation Systems for this big move and it would be an honor and a privilege to work with them again. Anyone who has the opportunity to choose the right movers- choose Moving Relocation Systems. A++ all the way. Eternally grateful, thank you all!!

  11. Estimate scam.

Worst experience of my life! Never use moving relocation systems out of New Jersey! Jeff Gold, their smooth talking salesman, gave me an estimate that blew the other companies out of the water. I told him that they should come out and look for themselves just to be certain of the price. He said, "No,that's not necessary. Our estimates our firm. Just tell us what you've got." I was thrilled.

But then, his boys come and load all of our stuff onto their truck, then announce that they can only move our stuff for $3500… NOT the $1238.79 they quoted. But, of course the trucks are already loaded, so if we back out now we have to pay a huge fine! Not worth it. Very clever, boys. I try to get Jeff gold on the phone and… Big surprise, Mr. friendly is no longer available. Then they get me on the phone with their closer and he can do nothing for me. So now we have to wait a couple of weeks to try to get that money together to get our stuff back. Can you say "ransom"?

Finally after a few weeks, we get the money to get our stuff to our new home and when their boys get here, they announce "0h, we didn't realize the terrain was so tricky. We're going to need another $500." If I were a violent man .. so, I tell them "we have no more money". They called the main office and the guy's begging with me to give him more money to get my stuff off the truck. Finally, he was "kind" enough to let me pay only an extra $300 so that they would finally release our belongings to us. I finally get Jeff Gold back on the phone a couple weeks later to complain and after about 30 seconds he says "well, you should've known better!" and he hangs up.

Why I was surprised to find several items missing when we unpacked I cannot tell you. CRIMINAL! Pure and simple.

  12. You Guys Are Awesome !

When my husband and I first decided to move we were considering the move on our own. We later decided against it and I have to say this was probably the best decision we could have made. We hired a company called moving relocation systems. They helped us move all of our items with such professionalism and courtesy I was amazed. I was at first, very concerned about using a professional moving company as I had heard some really bad stories from people before, but when we looked at the reviews we decided to go with them. What an awesome decision it was. They made our move so much easier and handled our items very carefully. They were very thorough with the move and made sure all items made it and were not scratched or broken during the move. I couldn’t be happier with them. You guys are awesome.. thank you so much for the help guys. I will definitely use you guys again! Excellent experience for my family.

  13. A+ Mover.

The movers were upbeat and cheerful the entire time; they were never idle and were certainly not slow-moving. My friends and I were astounded at the amount of energy they used throughout the day. Best of all, they cheerfully accommodated several where-should-I-put-it placement attempts with a couple of large pieces, not once did I feel "rushed" into settling on a placement so they could get on with things. I am very pleased.

  14. Move from NY to WI.

My family and I moved from NY to WI recently. They did a wonderful job moving everything out without damaging our home (which we just sold) and were very careful with my fragile items. Our furniture arrived to WI in good condition. Obviously there were expected wear and tear on the boxes from a long distance move but we had no damages! Completely unexpected! I would recommend to try them out if you have a long distance move. Tips: pack accordingly, give them the right amount of products (my price quoted was very close to my end cost), and warn them of any fragile or sensitive items.

  15. Move from MA to CA.

I do NOT write negative reviews however this time I feel like I need to let everybody know – using Moving Relocation Systems, LLC located at 1 Locust Avenue, Suite 2LT, Wallington, NJ 07057 IS YOUR’S WORST, UGLIEST NIGHTMARE COME TRUE.
Please shop around for another relocation/moving services. DO NOT give business to Moving Relocation Systems, LLC.
I will place review to every single social media available to make sure people are aware of this company. About how bad and unprofessional Moving Relocation Systems, LLC is. About the poor quality service Moving Relocation Systems, LLC provides.
    (1) PRICE:
Moving Relocation Systems, LLC intentionally gives you very low initial estimate (price) for relocation services to lock you up in the contract with them.
Moving Relocation Systems, LLC charges $4.6 per cubic feet. When you talk to them first time and go over the list of household items and boxes, they intentionally under-estimate the total cubic footage. So it looks good on paper and you sign the contract with them. However the moment the pickup team arrives price goes up. At this point you are stuck with them because you already paid the deposit (non-refundable) and also you need to move your furniture and boxes out of the sold house or rental apartment ASAP. There is no time to look for another relocation company.
My initial estimate for the move from state of MA to CA was $2700 and I ended up paying $5800. They wanted me to pay extra $800 on delivery (when 18 wheeler couldn’t get into my driveway) but I refused.
    (2) PAYMENT:
Pay attention to following detail – first 50% of the price you can pay by Credit Card.
The rest of the balance should be paid on delivery in CASH!!
    (3) PICKUP DATE:
My move date was set by the Moving Relocation Systems sales person during our first call, about 3 months before the move date.
The relocation services started calling me 1.5 week in advance asking if I am flexible to move 5 days earlier and then 3 days earlier. Finally I gave up and agreed for the pickup 1 day ahead of schedule.
Pickup time was set for 3-5pm. Pickup team arrived 3 hours earlier giving me only 30 minutes notice that they were “on their way”.
Moving Relocation Systems, LLC doesn’t have concept of the SCHEDULE.
    (4) DETAILS ABOUT WHERE YOUR STUFF IS STORED :
I was not explained much during the pickup, only one member of the pickup team spoke some English. But I was told first time during the pickup that my furniture and boxes will be delivered to the warehouse in NJ and stored there until they have enough jobs to fill up the container to go across United States.
Pickup team tagged every box and furniture item, stacked everything in the truck, asked me to sign the papers and pay 50% upfront, and left in hurry as they needed to get back to the warehouse in NJ.
    (5) DELIVERY DATE:
Delivery date was given to me by the Moving Relocation Systems, LLC central office. It was not fast, 10 days but I it was OK with me.
I was contacted 1 week after the pickup and was told to be ready to pay on delivery in 12 days. I was surprised that delivery terms changed but agreed to that.
I was contacted 4 days before the delivery term (12 days) and notified that trailer with my furniture and boxes will be at my door next day.
Once again, Moving Relocation Systems, LLC doesn’t understand the concept of the SCHEDULE.
    (6) QUALITY OF SERVICE:
    Here is the worst part.
    - 38 out of 52 plastic, heavy duty bins were totally destroyed. Side walls and tops of plastic bins were cracked, broken and missing. Clothes inside of the damaged containers were simply hanging out of what’s left of the plastic bin, taped to the left overs of the plastic bin (this is best case scenario).
It looked to us like people were walking on those boxes OR perhaps boxes were unloaded and loaded more than twice/three times.
    - All clothes were dragged on the pavement or dirty floors of the truck and were either totally damaged or partially damaged and needed cleaning.
    - Cardboard UHAUL boxes were damaged, UHAUL wardrobe box has been totally destroyed, one wall was ripped top to the middle of the box, the metal rod collapsed and all of the clothing items were on the bottom of the box, wet and wrinkled.
    - The furniture had multiple scratches and broken supporting legs. Very light TV stand was taken apart and glass shelves were packaged and arrived in good condition. However wooden legs were totally beat up.
    - Mountain bike was taken apart without my permission and front fork was totally bent.
    - The brand new iron was damaged. Most likely fell out of the damaged box.
The list can go on. I spent over $2000 on cleaning, fixing and replacing household items and furniture, servicing the bike.
    (7) INSURANCE CLAIM:
Complaints handling is yet another scam by Moving Relocation Systems, LLC.
I called Moving Relocation Systems, LLC to submit my complaint after several days, when I assessed the damage. They re-directed me to the Insurance Claims Service International website to submit the claim for damaged items. I spent about 2 hours submitting the claim, itemizing and attaching the pictures of the damaged boxes and items. The insurance company came back with another list of forms and requirements, also asking for specific pictures (one from far, one close up). At that point I decided not to waste more time on following up the claim. I found several online reviews where people went through the whole process, following all instructions from insurance company and were offered couple hundred dollars as a compensation. The compensation was not worth my time, I just dropped the insurance claim.
    SUMMARY:
    1. DO extensive research on the relocation company.
    2. DO check the references.
    3. DO NOT look at the total price/estimate, DO pay attention to the $$/per cubic feet.
    4. DO ask how they handle the lost/damaged claims, in case not everything goes smooth.
BEST OF LUCK WITH YOUR MOVE.
