  1. Job No: V7937298 - from California to Kentucky.

These guys are frauds. I can't believe they are still in business. They told me several lies and I began to get suspicious - checked all the reviews I could find, before my actual move date. All were 1 star mixed with a some fake 5 stars.
I decided better than risk the company, I would be wise to cancel and find someone more reputable. They refused to return any of my $1372.00 deposit. I learned a big lesson but dismayed that they still are selling moving services. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND THEIR ALTERNATE CO. NAMES.

  2. Thieves.

I did not move because my company did not win a contract. After a pushy sales guy took $1100 deposit last fall, I have been unable to get a response from the company to retrieve my deposit. I sent the company two letters verifying the fact that we didn't win and I wouldn't be moving. I've heard NOTHING. In addition, sub-contractor trucking company address is a strip mall (yoga) in Miami and have been banned by the US DOT from doing business. License has been revoked. This is a criminal enterprise and the company "officers" should be arrested.

  3. Scum.

These guys are pure crooks. Not sure how they sleep at night. Please do not use them. And if you ever see them, punch them in the face for me.

  4. Steal property.

This company is pure scam. The ratings here are also false. 4 stars?? Do not use this company they will take your money, ask for deposits, cash payments to deliver your goods. They use different drivers not part of a company just ramdom guys that complaint about what kind of company is this. They give you a quote and then a driver comes and tells you another price in my case it went up from 10000 to 15000. They are not BBB accredited or can be insured. Their addres is a residential one. No response to your claims. Stuff is damaged and some pieces stole. DO NOT USE THIS MOVERS!

  5. Run Dont Walk!

I set up recently for my property to be moved from Florida to Colorado. When the movers called me to set up delivery I had already been informed that some of my property was still in Florida by a third party. I told the delivery driver I would not accept delivery or make my final payment until ALL my property as agreed in our contract was present and accounted for. At this point the driver got irate and hung up the phone. Two days later they contacted me saying the driver felt threatened and in fear for his life and refused to make the delivery. They said I would have to come pick up my belongings at their location and they would be charging me storage until then. I still have not received my belongings and told them I had no way to pick the items up myself nor would I make the payment they are requiring for them to release my property until it was all accounted for. They have repeatedly refused to allow me to talk to anyone in management and the only contact I have is someone named Reggie who is in customer service. All I have is his private cell and whenever I call the number on my bill of lading there is no response. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS! Oh and if you'd like to call Reggie to voice your concern his number is 954-516-6855.

  6. My experience.

I was in touch with the owner named Frank in their Miramar office. He sent me a contract and requested a deposit. At the time they were Prestige Worldwide Moving, now they are United Movers Group. Needless to say I sent the deposit. I called to verify my move date and the number was disconnected. I called Frank's cell number identified myself and he hung up on me and blocked my number. DO NOT Use this company, they took my deposit and closed the doors. They are cheats and scammers.

  7. Bad Company.

    Prestige Worldwide Moving
3001 SW 173 Terr, Miramar, NC 33029, USA

Because of Consumer Affairs 5-star rating, we chose Prestige Worldwide Moving located in Miramar, FL.
I gave the estimator a complete list of all items. Every box (188 in all) was measured, and the list included the description and size of every piece of furniture.
The day came, and needless to say, my measurements meant nothing. The size grew (square footage on the truck) and their bill grew from $5,993.70 to $8,124.74. After they finished loading the truck, the Foreman basically said that I should give his men a tip! ( He more like demanded it.) At first I said no, but reconsidered ( I got bad vibes ).

The day of delivery they showed up with only two men: a driver and one worker. 90% of the boxes looked like they had been thrown off the truck when they were stored. Most if not all furniture was scratched. Items broken included the dining room table, breakfast table and a glass top on the living room coffee table. Damaged beyond repair was a heavy duty microwave cart, computer desk and a couple of pieces of the bedroom modular furniture. As for the PIANO, the front legs of our beautiful mahogany console piano were literally ripped off and dangling from the piano, as well as the wood panel in front and beneath the keyboard. The movers threw down the piano down on its side and wheeled it into the house. They did not have the experience of piano movers. Their website claimed piano moving. Needless to say I have called them (no answer) and left messages, they have not bothered to contact me.

  8. Do NOT use this company.

They will give you a quote and take your deposit, but they are scammers. They also are East Coast Moving and Storage and when they show up they have rented a uhaul, the price is drastically higher and they will give you a delivery date and then show up 3 weeks later. They change their names every time they get caught. They have lost their license several times.

They operate under Prestige Worldwide, Finest Movers, East Coast Moving and Storage, and the latest is Crown Van Lines, Inc. It will change again. Be WARNED!

  9. Scam!! stay away!

Moving Services Group (US DOT 2398933) provided me with a binding estimate for my move from MN to NY of $2520. I was told my pick up date would be 11/5 or 11/6. As I was already in New York, my boyfriend would be the one on site in MN to let the movers into the apartment to load my items onto their truck—they claim on their website and on the binding estimate that they are not brokers and have their own fleet of trucks for delivery. I paid a $756 deposit via online check to secure my spot and lock in my price. On 11/4, I received a call from dispatch stating that my pickup would actually happen on Sun 11/6, which was in their original pick up estimate time frame. When my boyfriend was on site, the people who actually showed up were from Priceline Moving and Storage d/b/a Prestige Worldwide Moving (US DOT 2632688). I was never notified by Moving Services Group that a different company would be transporting my goods. Prestige Worldwide Moving showed up in a Penske rental truck. Kenneth the Prestige driver, told my boyfriend that we had more items than originally estimated and needed to charge us for the additional space on the truck. The new bill of lading and binding estimate was for $2838, which included my deposit of $756 with Moving Services Group. Not knowing this was different than the original estimate, my boyfriend agreed, figured it’s just $300 and signed the new bill of lading/binding estimate. He then paid $1041 via check; Kenneth explained we would need to pay the remaining $1041 in cash upon delivery. Kenneth filled out an inventory and marked our items as damaged, gouged, scratched, chipped, etc, even though they were not in this condition. Kenneth explained they would probably deliver my items on Friday 11/11 at the latest. I called Jerry on Monday 11/7 to get more clarity about the delivery time frame, he connected with Isaac in customer service who was aggressive and hostile. Isaac said there was no way to know when my items would arrive and I would get a call 24 hours before delivery. I called Moving Services Group again on Wednesday 11/9 and was connected with Reggie, who informed me that one of their Moving Services Group delivery drivers had died and they had to finish his deliveries before they’d be able to deliver my goods; that is why they contacted Prestige to complete my move. Reggie said they had no updates from dispatch. I called Prestige Worldwide Moving directly to see if they had any more info, and was connected with Josh. Josh informed me that my items seemed to be in the general Chicago area. He did not have an update on when they would be delivered, and told me that I’d receive a call 24 hours before delivery. I called Prestige Worldwide Moving again on Monday 11/14 and spoke with David, who said my items were in storage in Chicago waiting for a delivery driver to be assigned to take my items to Brooklyn. He estimated that they would probably have a driver assigned by Wednesday 11/16, meaning I should expect delivery between Friday 11/18 and Sunday 11/20. I called Prestige on Wednesday 11/16 to confirm that they had assigned a driver to my items and josh said he did not have an update; that no one had yet been assigned and that I would receive a call 24 hours before delivery. I called Moving Services Group again on Thursday 11/17 to see if they had any more info and Reggie said he did not have any updates. I filed a complaint with the FMSCA on 11/17 and still haven’t heard back from them. I called again on 11/28 to see if there were any updates and I was assured I would receive a call back from Reggie in 30 mins after he got a hold of the dispatcher. After 90 minutes, I called back and was told Reggie was unavailable. This was the last contact I had with them.
I grew concerned once I did some research and discovered that both of these companies operate under different names and file change of addresses and switch ownership. They are not BBB accredited as they claim; Moving Services Group claims they are not brokers but never informed me that they would not be able to complete my move as planned. Prestige Worldwide Moving (really Priceline Moving and Storage) has had its authorization involuntarily revoked by the FMCSA on 10/24/16 and only recently reinstated on 11/5/16 (the day before they picked up my items). According to the FMCSA DOT registration, Prestige Worldwide Moving has their address listed as 1855 Plunkett St #403, Hollywood FL, 33020 but their paperwork and contracts have them listed at 3317 NW 10th Terr, #403, Fort Lauderdale FL 33309.
There are countless horror stories from people who have had their items held hostage until they agree to pay more money and once they do get their items (weeks late), they’re damaged and broken or missing.
I finally received my items on Sunday, December 11th. They were not delivered by Prestige Worldwide Moving or Moving Services Group. I was contacted on Saturday December 10th by someone stating that my items would be delivered the next day around 10am. The person I spoke with stated there might be a $300 shuttle fee because a semi truck couldn’t fit down my street. I said my street was quite wide and I had seen many semi trucks drive down it before. The person said he would have to look on google street view.
On Sunday December 11th, I received communication from two different phone numbers—one was a 646 area code belonging to “Mike” who had an Eastern-European accent. The other phone number was a New Jersey area code, also belonging to “Mike” with an Eastern-European accent. At various points throughout the day, I received communication that they were only an hour away; other times “Mike” told me that they were still on Staten Island. Finally “Mike” confirmed that they were in Edison, NJ, about 2 hours away. This was at around 3pm after they had told me they would be here closer to 10am. Mike arrived in a Penske rental truck (License plate: 2358138; Penske ID number: 9168657) alone. I asked if there were other movers coming. He said yes. It was about this time that I noticed a man standing around in front of my apartment building asking if this was the moving job from craigslist. “Mike” had posted an ad to recruit people to move my items upstairs. We were later joined by 2 more young men who had seen the craigslist ad. My items were successfully brought upstairs and I was charged an extra $300 shuttle fee, even though a semi truck would have been able to fit down my street. Mike was wearing a shirt with the logo “Boost van lines moving and storage” (US DOT: 2453637) based in Edison, NJ. While unloading, I was able to pull the three men from Craigslist aside and asked them to talk to me before leaving—I explained my situation, that I had been scammed by this moving company and collected their contact info in case I needed it. While unpacking, we realized we were missing one box and contacted Mike about 20 mins after we had finished unloading the truck. He said he knew the box we were talking about and that it was still in the storage facility in NJ, not on the truck. He said he would mail it to us the next day. We have still not received the box and I have had no further communication with anyone regarding this move—I figured of all of the boxes to lose, it didn’t contain any valuables and it wasn’t worth the effort to track it down.
In total, I paid $3138. This was over $600 more than my original $2520 estimate provided by Moving Services Group, to which I did not add any additional items or services. Ideally, I would like to be refunded the additional charge and to be compensated for the unnecessary stress of withholding my items for 35 days; however, I am not hopeful that I will receive this outcome. These moving companies deliberately lie and mislead customers—they say there’s an issue with “dispatch” but they don’t have a dispatcher. They don’t even have their own moving trucks, hence why they picked up and dropped off my items in Penske rental trucks. I would like to see these chameleon companies shut down so they cannot continue to hurt people or their belongings.

  10. No customer service.

We were assigned this moving company by a broker.
They did a good job packing but overestimated storage and inflated price by 25%. Afterward they did not answer phone.
Could not get update on arrival of items.

  11. Prestige moving is a joke! Run away!

The Worst company ever ! Anything you could do wrong they did it!
We selected this company after taking several other bids on the work (move from Lex. SC to Denver Co.) They showed up late, took all day to pack and load, then after everything was loaded told my wife that they would have to charge us 50% more than the original "Binding" estimate because all our stuff could not fix on their truck. Again, 10pm hostage situation .. they have all our stuff on their truck and they are calling the shots! Once we got to Denver and started to request delivery is when the fun really started. After WEEKS of attempting to get a delivery date, with no luck, we received notice of delivery a very short time prior. Once they showed up we noticed immediately that the condition of our belonging had been seriously damaged. Once they were finished throwing our stuff off the truck it was clear that not everything had been delivered. Mattresses, bikes, tvs etc. were soimply not delivered. We attempted to contact Josh Williams who had previously stated that he was the last and only person at prestige we could talk to.. we waited weeks, replaced many parts and finally (3 weeks) some of our additional belongings were delivered. ( So now insurance won't cover those items )
What was delivered was in bad condition! Packing tape around the furniture that removes the finish when you remove the tape. Silverware and other family memories were stolen! They hired day labor who stole my wifes wedding ring. They are completely non-responsive to any attempts to discuss or even acknowledge out claim for insurance. They are denying we have full coverage when it clearly says we paid over 2k for that coverage. etc.. etc.
There is not part of this move that they did not screw up.. oh except collecting their monies and destroying the entire experience and our belongings in the process.

  12. Crooks, Scum.

These guys make me sick. They are crooks, please please please, stay away. They are the epitome of a crooked business.

  13. Worst company ever liars and thieves.

All the good reviews are changed the dates. This company is pure scam. Do not waist your money. All of them are liars and have an attitude behind the phone, I bet the will not be that brave face to face. Their address is not even real business is a residential address. Do not believe any good saying about this company.

  14. I would NOT use this company!

BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT use Rhino Moving Inc, Prestige Worldwide Moving, Moving Services Group Inc., Priceline Moving and Storage Inc. or East Coast Moving and Storage.

My research indicates they are all inter-related. These enterprises list some of the same people’s names, yet freely change their company names back and forth, twice in the past two months.

I was informed by the Broward Consumer Protection Office and the Fraud Hotline that they have numerous complaints against them. They strongly advised me to file a claim with them.
We just completed a move from Minneapolis to Miami. We ended up paying more than THREE TIMES the estimate! When they arrived for pick-up, they immediately determined that the goods exceeded their estimate. At that point, the price doubled. There were a few additional boxes and a couch, however my entire shipment was delivered in a small U-Haul truck by their company (even items from another customer)! I obviously could not have doubled my load from a small two-bedroom apartment.
They picked up my goods in a small Penske truck. They arrived in Miami in an 18-wheeler that was too large to drive into the complex. They then DEMANDED an additional $500 (payable in cash on the spot) to rent a U-Haul for two hours to shuttle my goods to my new apartment.

On their contract, they state that they do not subcontract, however they used Smart Van Lines with a Suddath United truck to deliver my goods. I confirmed the DOT numbers and verified that the movers did not work for Prestige, Rhino, Moving Services Group, Priceline Moving and Storage or East Coast Moving and Storage. They worked for Smart Van Lines which matched the DOT number on the truck. I took pictures of the movers and their trucks for proof and called the company for verification.

At the time of pick-up, I was informed that the delivery would take approximately one week. After 10 days, I called the company and they had no knowledge of the whereabouts of my shipment. After two weeks, they showed up with a last-minute phone call.

When I called Prestige/Rhino/Moving Services/Priceline, they refused to address my issues. It took numerous emails, faxes and calls to get them to answer their phones and when they did, they screamed at me.

If my experience is any indication, expect ZERO customer service from these people.
I have pictures, documents and emails to support my claims.

If you asked me, would I use this company again or refer them to a friend? The answer is, “No, I would refer them to the authorities for prosecution.”.

  15. CRIMINALS - You Won't Get Your Belongings.

It's been since September 20th, 2016 since this company picked up everything I own from my apartment. Since then, when I call from my personal phone I haven't been able to get in touch with "Bob Roland" (the driver), or anyone else at this scam company. Not only did they collect a cash deposit upon pick-up, which was more than what the total estimate quoted, but now they have everything I own held hostage. I've done my research and found that they use a fake BBB review for a company called Prestige Moving & Storage. They have F ratings all over, which is why they are not insured. They are not family owned and, instead, subcontract out all jobs. All of your valuable things will be stolen and IF you do receive a delivery most will be destroyed. Their (855) phone number is a dispatch so they can answer their cell phones from all over the country (WI, OH, FL, etc). I can't get a hold of anyone during regular business hours, but when I have friends call from different numbers in Seattle, Chicago, etc. they've answered at 2:00 am to prey on another unsuspecting victim. The attorney general in Florida, Ohio, and Wisconsin were made aware. The DOT, FTC, and DAC are also aware and said they've received an unsettling amounts of similar complaints. I've left emails, voicemails, texts and its been OVER 2 MONTHS since I've received anything or got any explanation. Spread the word to everyone you know about Prestige Worldwide Moving and the names "Josh Williams", "Barry", "Frank Evans", "Kevin Parrish". Also, you may see a bunch of 5 star reviews on sites, but just know that all of those are done by these scam artists or their friends. Reviews are either 1 star or 5 stars. We once spoke to a Kevin Parrish with this company who hung up on us, but then I found a 5 star review by Kevin Parrish on this site. Very interesting, huh? It truly is a shame that awful people like this get away with robbing from families of everything they own.
