AVOID AT ALL COSTS
DO NOT CONTRACT WITH THEM. I'm trying to do you a favor by writing this review. I strongly believe all the 5-star reviews are fake (just go on yelp to see actual 1-star reviews for SH Movers). They will charge you double what they initially quote and most of your belongings will be cracked, scratched, broken, torn or damaged in some fashion. Currently working through their exceptionally tedious insurance policy protocol.
Impressed!
The house utensils are mostly fragile, but again the wrapping and packaging were so greatly done by them that it is delivered without any dent or scratch. I am so impressed, and I would love to book them again.

Amazing moving service! 3 hours minimum and I believe there was additional for traveling long distance. The cost was reasonable. And man, the owner and his teammate sure knew how to move everything. Will use the service again. Thanks!

First-class service from the website to moving day. Changed my initial booking 3 times without any problem. The staff was courteous and helpful. Everyone is accommodating on the phone. Good prices. The driver kept us updated on collection and delivery times. Will definitely use it again.

ABSOLUTELY the WORST
**BEWARE** Rip off artists. Quoted $4,600 for a state to state move and it actually cost $13,000. Property showed up a day and a half late and 80% of property damaged plus damage to house from them bringing items in. Never had someone ask for a tip before.
BEWARE! USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! SH MOVERS IS A BROKER, NOT A CARRIER! In the beginning, communication was consistent, but tapered off after our items were picked up. I was told the same crew that picked up our furniture would drive the shipment to our destination, unload goods and reassemble all furniture. None of this happened. On the day of pickup, the moving crew should have arrived between 9am-11am, but showed up around 3pm. To their credit, these 3 ½ guys (one member brought his 10-year old son to help) moved swiftly, albeit scratching our hardwood floors and some walls. At this time, the estimate amount changed. Originally quoted $3700, by the time they finished loading the truck, according to them, we had twice as much, and the total was now $7800. We paid the amount due, with the promise that we would receive a call from the company with the delivery date. After 3-4 days with no follow-up, we called the company on multiple phone numbers (which went to voicemail) sent texts (which were unanswered), emails to the customer service and claims department (no response), but did get an answer when we called the Quality Assurance department, who sent a message to Dispatch. We never heard back from Dispatch, but the driver himself called us while enroute on Friday, and confirmed he would arrive on Saturday morning at 7am. He arrived at 10am in an 18-wheeler that would not fit on our street. He left to get a smaller, 26’ truck to load our items in, which cost us an additional $400 for this “shuttle service.” Not all of our items would fit in the 26’ foot truck, so we had to use our own pickup truck to transport the remaining items, to avoid any additional fees. The crew returned to our home, and upon unloading said they don’t do stairs, when it was clearly marked on the paperwork that we have stairs in our home. After compromising, they unloaded the truck, and to our dismay, most of the boxes were severely damaged – major dents and dings, bottoms nearly falling out, furniture and appliances scratched despite the paddings and blankets used. They did not reassemble our tables or our furniture. We had to buy new screws and bolts to reassemble it ourselves, as the originals were lost in transit, along with two of our other boxes. Fortunately, most of our items arrived within a week of pickup, though in poor to fair condition. We will unlikely file a claim, as the contract clearly states, people will receive “far less” than the value of the items. Before settling with this company, we did read several reviews, and were hesitant to choose this company. When I asked the manager about the negative reviews, he said there is another company with the same name, and that the negative reviews were incorrectly being posted on their company’s page, an issue they were working with Google to resolve. Though after the lack of communication, change in estimate pricing, damaged goods, lost goods, tardiness, using our own vehicle and manpower to assist, and reassembling our things and buying the hardware to do so, sounds like all the negative reviews were indeed valid.
DO NOT HIRE...SCAM ARTISTS
Scheduled a cross country move months in advance. Took a deposit, rescheduled my move twice, then cancelled day of move. Kept my deposit, won't take calls. I now belong to a distinguished group of victims....class action coming soon.
