  1. Worst Moving Experience

Was moving from Grass Valley, CA to Lawndale NC and had this moving company assigned to us by US Standard Moving and Storage. We were scheduled to leave on May 21 in the early morning hours, however the 20th had passed and so on the 21st i made several calls and cold not get a straight forward answer about when the moving guys would be there. Finally around 6 pm on the 21st they show up to load my things. Those guys were great in loading and making sure everything that needed wrapping was wrapped and secured. Well we were given a May 28th delivery date and then when that date passed we continued to call and could never get anyone at Sirius Van Lines NEVER!!!! Finally on June 23rd we got a call that our things would be at our storage facility around 5pm and it was closer to 630. When the guy opened the back door needless to say my blood began to boil. I had crushed boxes and he was trying to give me items that were not mine. After he left and what little daylight i had left we began to go thru the boxes and i got even more disgusted with the moving company, because i found some plates and glasses that were broken and we had not even got thru but two boxes. When the weekend came and we were able to start going thru the rest of our stuff we found alot more items broken or damaged. Was looking at doing a claim, but when i got to the part of estimating cost, what they were looking at giving back was about $60 for over a $1,000.00 worth of damage and loss. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!!

  2. Terrible experience

Sirius Van Lines picked up my furniture from Charlotte NC on June 16, 2021 by a guy naned Brendon and 2 workers...I should have known from the beginning they were scammers...according to Brendon I had more things than they first thought after most of my belongings were already on their rented truck from Budget...he called his wife Jamie who quoted me an extra $1000...if most of my things were on the truck..what was I to do. This was a specific question I asked when setting up this move..I told them every single piece of furniture and exact number of boxes because I did not want charges tacked on! At that stage I spoke with a Blake Johnson ..come to find out I think Blake was a broker!!Furthermore I was told by Brendon the mover my belongings would be delivered on June 25, 2021. Well I heard nothing from them..June 25 came and went..I started calling and calling..sometimes I called all day because they would have you on hold or hang up on you. Finally after many many calls I estimate over 80 calls because I could not locate any of my furniture..Jaimie would only to say your contract said we have 30 days to deliver. I explained to Jaime...your husband Brendon stated it would be delivered June 25 and if I needed storage you would give 30 days free storage....but I did not need any storage...This company Sirius Van Lines and represenative Jaime made my move a horrible..terrible..frustrating stressful ordeal....from beginning to end. After all the calls.. someone who goes by the name Max texted stating furniture would be delivered July 12. I was excited but very short lived when the driver delivered furniture he had NO idea he was delivering to a house and it was a full service move.. Jaime representing her company Sirius Van Lines told the driver he was delivering to a warehouse. The driver did not know how to put items back together. I explained I paid for full service move...Brendon and his crew took my furniture apart in Charlotte NC and I paid to be put back together upon delivery. Well the driver did as best he could...leaving me with furniture not put back together. Not only that...this company stole so many of my items....off the top of my head I am missing an very expensive king size mattress..kitchen table....9 boxes...all my kitchen appliances...glasses...living room chair...etc. I spoke to Jaime and all I would hear is we are searching for it. Finally Jaime says we cannot find it..file a claim..this was their plan from the beginning..I told Jaime they were scammers and that I pressed charges against them...if you want your belongings DO NOT hire this company!

  3. Scam Company--AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Would give ZERO stars if possible. Worst moving experience ever. For starters, pickup was delayed 2 days due to "issues with the truck". Picked up items 5/31 in Houston TX, was told items would be delivered to Boston, MA on 6/9-6/11. On 6/10, contacted company and was informed items were still in Texas and they legally had 30 business days from 6/9 to deliver my things. Over the course of a month, I spent many hours on hold with their service line trying to get ahold of a customer service representative (often disconnected after ~30 minutes of waiting). 30 business days came and went and still no word on delivery. The party line from Jaime (the customer service rep) was "there's a national shortage of drivers and we are working hard to get you your things." After 30 days, the company phone number was disconnected and a new number distributed which was impossible to get an answer on. Also many emails unanswered. Finally, I disputed the charges on my credit card, at which point someone finally reached out to me once their money was taken away. They sent many nasty text messages and threats to turn me over to a collections agency and ruin my credit, although they were the ones who were in breach of contract and still in possession of over $10000 worth of my belongings. Finally, after hiring an attorney and filing a police report with the Denton, TX police department, we were able to pick up our items ourselves from the warehouse in Denton. However, we still had to pay them $1000 for "services rendered" and are now out the cost of plane tickets to Texas, rental cars, moving help and a U-Haul rental. Two months post-move, we are now driving cross country with our items which we could have done in the first place if we had known what a HORRENDOUS company this is. Whatever you do, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

  4. Terrible experience

This moving company picked up my furniture and I had to call over and over until I reached someone because I could not find my furniture. Sometimes I would stay on the phone in attempts to reach Sirius Van Lines for an entire day. I would call and then the phone would hang up so I kept calling and calling until I reached someone. When you call the beginning message states Move Us to Relocate. I had to ask are you Sirius Van Lines. I believe they may have previously changed their name due to a bad BBB rating.

When my belongings were delivered 3 weeks late, I was missing a lot of my items, in which, I still have not received. I spoke with a lady named Jaime who stated they were looking for my missing belongings. I explained to Jaime how can all these items be missing, I further explained your husband (Brendon and 2 other workers picked up my things). They stated you have more things than were thought, you need more space and charged me an extra $1000 after my items were on there Budget rented truck. Once I received some of my belongings, the driver that delivered my items stated this is a bad company and he would never work for them again. He stated they lie really bad.

He thought he was delivering to a warehouse, the driver did not know I had a full service move and he was supposed to put my items back together. I paid for a full service move and still I have furniture not put back together. Moving is stressful in itself and this company made it 100 times worse.

Jaime then states we will contact you when we find your items. As you know, Jaime never called I had to contact her and she finally told me I don't know where your items are. Jaime knows exactly where my belongings are this is part of their bad business practices....scamming... I then found out that they are under a Do Not Operate Order from FMCSA. I found out I am not the only one this has happened to....there are many, many people who either did not receive their belongings, partial delivery, broken items and this company will not update you to inform the progress of the move or where to locate your items. They have a warehouse near Charlotte NC and Denton TX....they also will tell you oh file a claim especially it you did not take the full coverage for your items. Do Not hire this company if you want to see your belongings again. Get a reputable company that has been around for some time. Yes, there are some good reviews for this company, but I know some of those reviews were not customers they were employees!!!

  5. Horrible

I will spare the details of my nightmare; others have experienced worse. Just let me stay:

    1. Their website claims an A BBB rating.

    2. The BBB disagrees, and calls it a B rating.

    3. This is a relatively new company, so the BBB has not had time to get a lot of complaints. There is another company, a bit older, with the same phone number and owner. It is called "Move us to relocation", and it has an F BBB rating. Check out their reviews.

Do you really want to do business with a company that has an F rating with the BBB?

Do yourself a favor, and avoid companies that expect to be paid on pickup - the actual delivery is not a priority for them.

  6. Fraud & grand larceny

Picked up furniture. & Disappeared. Possessions lost. Pursuing charges with Denton Tx police

  7. Scammed

Sirius Van Lines picked up my move June 28th, 2021. Now they won't respond my calls. I believe I have been scammed and won't see my belongings again.

  8. WORST EXPERIENCE

This is the worst experience ever. My husband and I had set this up 2 months ago. We’re moving from California to Tennessee. We got quoted $2400 for 15-20 boxes. They called 3 days before the move to get a quality check and see what has changed. We added on an extra 20 boxes. We live in a 2 bedroom 1 bath 700square foot apartment. They added another $1200. They were suppose to be here April 16th or 17th. Here we are April 18th no movers yet! We have called and called and called no answers we just get told “we’ll have someone call you” no one has called us back. Come April 20th movers finally arrive. We were suppose to be leaving the morning of the 20th. The guys we spoke with was Zach at green leaf. He said he or one of his guys would be personally moving our items. What a joke! They contract out!! He said he gave us his personal number for if we have any issues that was a lie as well! We probably called 100 times and not once got to speak with this Zach guy.

We finally got our items packed up with Sirius Van Lines they said our items would be in Tennessee at our apartment May 20th. Fast forward after another 50 calls between green leaf moving and storage and another company that was said to have our items called move us to relocation we got answers, so we had thought. We were told on May 13th that our items were finally in transit from California to Tennessee, they will call us in 2 days to let us know when they will be here.

I was going back and forth calling green leaf and move us to relocation trying to get answers. I was told by a girl named Alex who works for Sirius van lines out of North Carolina. She had told me they didn’t know where our things were or the driver. After Sirius van lines ignored and screened my called (btw so did green leaf) I finally got Alex again. She finally told me with in the next week (end of May early June) that our things would be in transit from California and due to deliver but no definite answer as to when.

I asked this lady for her bosses number or email, she had told me she can’t give those out but finally she did so I thought. She gave me an incorrect email address and the phone number no one picks up an the voicemail box is full. I texted her boss named Jaime and no answers ever not one.

I finally called green leaf again and spoke to a lovely girl named hope, she was the only one since the very beginning of our move that has been beyond helpful. She gave me her number I was able to personally text and we did a lot. She was having troubles contacting and getting in touch with move us to relocation to get any answers. Finally we got some, we were told our things were due to arrive June 13th. At this point we were so over all of this we weren’t very hopeful but we got our things. The movers showed up in a budget moving van late of course. The way our things showed up just about made my heart drop, all of our boxes and other items are damaged or destroyed not a single thing came in one piece. They even lost 7 really expensive fishing poles, a big makeup vanity, ladder, and 4 big boxes. The boxes looked as if they got dropped in the lake they looked and actually had mold on them. This is from sitting in a storage unit in North Carolina for a month and a half. We were never informed that our things were moved and stored in another Unit with others things.

While these movers unloaded our things they tried giving us 11 items that were not even ours. Our metal gaming table looked as if they purposely broke the leg off same with out kitchen table and chairs.

  9. Computer Missing

I used these movers to move across the country and it took them over a month after they told me it would take them max 2 - 3 weeks. They give you no update on where your stuff is and when my stuff finally did arrive, boxes arrived SMASHED and ripped open. My Mac computer is also missing and I have been trying to contact them for two weeks and THEY WONT ANSWER MY CALLS OR EMAILS. I am in the process of taking this to small claims court.

  10. Items seem to be in outer space

My household items picked up 1 1/2 weeks ago and no one seems to know where they are. Contacting by phone is impossible. This is crazy. The guys who picked up my items were wonderful but I can’t say the same for the company. I wouldn’t mind if they could just tell me where my items were and an estimated delivery date. I know legally they have more time for delivery but tell me you know where items are.

  11. Horrible, unprofessional, and potential scammers.

Do not use this company! Rude, unprofessional, & scammers.

Was told that I was reserving to be picked up on the 27th around 2pm by Thomas. Called the 25th after not hearing from anyone confirming the move and was told someone from dispatch would contact me on the 26th (a Saturday). Then received an email asking for a list of items/reconfirmation of items so that a day and time would be scheduled after 4pm on the 26th. They request a deposit to book a date/time, but don't stick to that date. Nothing has been done and no answer when calling. Then some unknown man named Mike calls saying he is from "quality assurance" and later in the conversation claims he is from dispatch. The email addresses do not state or show anything with the company name which also adds to being sketchy/ unreliable. The google phone numbers changed, they're not registered with BBB even though Mike said they were and a google search shows they are NOT. When you look at any recent reviews they are not picking up on delivery day, not responding to customers, stealing and/or breaking customer items, and even holding onto other customers items for more than 30 days. Being contacted less than 24 hours before the move is supposed to begin and refused to even provide a partial refund as nothing has been scheduled or confirmed. They also failed to send a receipt or signed contract on their behalf. I let Mike know that they should consider addressing some of the negative reviews from the last month and a company representative claiming not to care about reviews or reputation isn't someone worth trusting and doing business with even if they are real.

  12. Scammers and unreliable company

I hired Sirius Van Lines for my move from CA to NC, which I found out later was through a broker named Interstate Movers. I was misled from the very beginning! The estimated quote after having gone through all my items to be moved and assuring me that it has a flat rate under 6000 cubic feet has tripled in price upon their arrival to load the items, especially not being on time and missing the three day window they have set for them to arrive despite taking an upfront deposit fees. I was assured my items could be delivered at my requested date with one month free storage if needed. It has now been past two weeks past and unable to get a hold of a single person or where my stuff are. I have called every number I can find as well as the numbers provided to me by the company! No answers and voicemail does not take any messages. The lady manager threatened to dump my items back at the original destination and when I was willing even to forgo the deposit and have a local moving co move my stuff, they’re holding my items hostage and ask for a huge amount of money to release my household goods! It is so inhumane to take advantage of people in such stressful time! I would not recommend this company nor the Interstate Moving Company!

  13. Expectations...

My elderly parents hired SIRIUS VAN LINES to move all their belongings from South Carolina to Phoenix, Arizona this month.

We are expecting to have everything go as planned and that there will not be any lost or damaged items, no additional (erroneous) charges, and that their items will be picked up on time and delivered on time. So far, there has been a slight hiccup as Sirius Van Lines was supposed to pick up their items today but then today they rescheduled it for tomorrow, which caused extreme stress for my elderly parents. This is why I gave 4-stars initially but will change to 5- stars if all else goes well.

Communication and good customer service is the heart of any company and I am hoping SIRIUS VAN LINES will pull through! We are counting on you!

I will update this review soon, as items are expected to be picked up tomorrow and delivered on Friday.

  14. Great work last minute

Have to say i was very happy with the the service and honest bid we received after we retain services with a broker down in Florida that underquoted us tremendously stating all our items would fit in 10ft of truck space when we had a 3br. Then to top it off no call no show and truck broke down. We then called Sirius which we received a bid much higher ofcourse but accurate and we should had listened to our rep Alex connor. Guys did good work on a 2 days notice all went well and we received goods within 4 days of move. thanks again. please reviewers and shoppers make sure u ask questions and verify that they are the movers. These guys saved us from spending thousands more. God bless

  15. Delivery

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. THEY STOLE MY THINGS.THEY SAID I REFUSED DELIVERY WHEN I HAD AN APPOINTMENT VIA TEXT MESSAGE SAYING THEY WOULD DELIVER AT 2 PM ON JUNE 10. THEY DID NOT SHOW UP, DID NOT CALL ME TO CHANGE AND DID NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE WHEN I TRIED TO REACH THEM ABOUT WHERE MY DELIVERY WAS. WHEN I SAID I WAS GOING TO FILE CHARGES THEY SAID I COULD NOT GET MY THINGS BACK UNLESS I PAID A REDELIVER FEE AND RENTAL FEE BECAUSE THEY PUT MY THINGS IN STORAGE. JUST PART OF THEIR PLAN TO RIP PEOPLE OFF!!!
