Bait & Switch.
Smart Choice comes in with a nice low price but then they add on later. The coordinator was very nice and helpful but that changed quickly. First they tried to charge me $200 for extra boxes and threatened to leave them behind if I didn't pay. Now they claim that the driver went to Alabama and I'll need to pay $600 to get them to come to Florida! They have essentially hijacked my belongings for ransom. .
Long Distance Military Move.
This was the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with of any kind. They said they would provide full service move, delivery and assembly, and instead they just dropped off everything still packed and nothing assembled. They show'd up for delivery with one person only to unpack. Then claimed the people who were going to do the unpacking had car troubles, so the truck driver (who was rude and lazy himself) went and picked up some people off the street to move my things from the truck to the house. There they left all of my things still boxed up with all of the packing trash. Their was no inventory sheet done of what they moved or what I received, and when I called to find out why this poor job was happening I was told that they're professionals and I don't know what I'm talking about. I have moved long distance 11 times due to being in the Military, and this was the worst company I have ever had to move with I recommend nobody ever use them!
Excellent service.
This company let us know exactly when they would arrive and called 30 minutes before the arrival time to confirm. They did the same at the delivery point. The driver and his helper were nice young men, clean and well dressed and helped but the things just the way we wanted them. Good company and good people. Paul H Story.

Thank you Smart Choice! I wanted to show my gratitude by telling everyone that is in what was once my father’s situations to keep in mind there are still good moving company's out there. Smart Choice helped my father move from FL to NY. It was a last minute move. Every company out there was giving me outrageous prices. Smart choice was able to give my father a great quote, they really came through for us. We thank the movers that handled our items with care that professionally loaded all of our things onto the truck. At the end of the day Jerry and his crew did a great job. We will Be looking forward to using you in the future Thanks for a great moving experience! .

Your gentleman movers just left. They arrived when they stated, were perfect gentlemen and used the utmost care in the handling and loading of our belongings. I cannot thank you enough Jake for helping me through the other mess. You and Smart Choice went the 'EXTRA MILE' to help myself and my sister realize our final retirement step. I worked 50 years and am now legally blind, but I look forward to my time in the sun and knowing that there are still people like you and your company to assist us. .
