This is the second time in a year that 495 movers assisted me in relocating my family and AS ALWAYS they were AMAZING and brought along large truck and a FANTASTIC crew!! They provide professional, courteous movers who are quick yet diligent with all the boxes, furniture, and mattresses! The movers were also prepared with extra boxes and tape and worked well as a team! Thanks again Tom!
Jake's Moving and Storage.
I found Jake's Moving and Storage perfect for my needs. I didn't have to lift a finger. Jake's movers were professional and polite and worked very quickly. This company offers a valuable service for people on the move and at a good price. Jake's staff called while the movers worked to see if everything was okay. This company is sterling and I will certainly use them again.
3 Moves.
We recently did three very complicated moves. Our moving team was excellent and very professional. Everything they did to help us was beyond and above our expectation. During the move my father died and we had to stop/start a lot. We were treated with respect and compassion. The service was old school, carefully executed, timely, and professional.

Friendly, worked fast. Efficient team of movers. One item, a bookcase, was chipped during storage or moving. Otherwise all went according to plan. A good experience. Mover held my household goods in storage for 7 weeks while I closed on a new house and put in some new flooring and paint. Packing of fragile items was very good. No breakage. I would recommend 495 Movers.

We had a great experience with 495 Movers. The guys were very polite and helped us with the entire move. Anything that we had as a change was not an issue to them. They were very friendly and responsible. They were in contact with us during the entire move. We knew when they were going to show up and everything was on time. The were very easy to work with and we highly recommend them.
Move from NY to MD.
Gave this guys a chance and it turned out to be a good choice, from start to finish everything was straight forward, they gave an estimate and were very informative about the move process and charging system.
On the of the move they showed up on time (it was a major issue with my buildings on both locations), packed everything professionally and did an impressive job in preventing any damages to my furniture (no damages at all).
They also were spot on with charging me what we agreed before hand so no extra charges and no surprises.
I had about 4 estimates including 495, and they were not the cheapest for sure but something just felt right about them, communication was easy, they were intuitive and able to accommodate all of my needs.
All and all a very positive experience, will definitely use them again when i'll move next time.

My husband and I hired 495Movers to move about 25 miles around the D.C. metro area. The movers arrived on time and were very efficient and professional. They finished earlier than expected and our furniture and boxes were brought into our new home with no problems. 495Movers definitely helped ease the stress of moving, and we would recommend them to those looking to move in or around the area.

We had a fabulous experience with 495 movers - both when we moved out, and when we moved into our new place. We also stored all of our belongings in the storage units for 8 months. It was incredibly convenient to have the same company move us, and store our belongings. I only have good things to say about this company - very professional, on time, clean. The price was fair, and I would not hesitate to contact this company again when I move next (although I hope that will not be for a while).

very happy with their services. We had
previously had a bad experience with movers and were very skeptical at finding

was friendly and assured us that our move would be flawless – which it was! We did have a hiccup with the truck’s battery
dying, but we experienced minimal delays due to the crew’s immediate attention

495 Movers is the BEST at what they do! I have used moving companies in the past and have bad memories. That being said; 495 Movers came recommended by a friend. I have used them twice now and will any time I may need to in the future. I would also recommend to anyone in need of moving services. Both times; the movers were friendly, polite and extremely careful; working the entire time. Tom Yospe addressed all of my questions and concerns in a timely manner. Boxes, paper, and tape were provided in advance. You can certainly trust 495 Movers in handling your possessions with care. I highly recommend 495 Movers!
Devoted team.
The move went smoothly from the beginning till the end. The owner came right away to give me an estimate so we agreed on terms and flat price. I was promised that I will not be charged any extra dollar for anything and I have to say the company kept the promise. Also visual estimate was very important to me because I have expensive stuff that had to be transported extra carefully. The crew came 20 minutes earlier than we agreed and I was totally aware of that because I got a call in the morning. Me and my wife were already waiting with packed boxes and the things that had to be wrapped. The owner was participating too, checking that nothing will be broken or damaged. I should say working staff was very careful and helped as much as they could while my wife was running around asking to move things from one place to another. We agreed to move everything in two days, because we moved couple states away. Next day the crew came and unloaded all boxes. We insisted to check all important property while the movers were in the house. Nothing was damaged. Well, a little scratch on the back of the couch, but it's nothing comparing to the great job they did. Everything was wrapped and covered so no more serious damage.

Great Moving Company!
I was very happy with 495 Movers. They were professional, clean, careful, timely and well priced. 495 was responsive by phone and easy to talk to and set up my move. They were professional and very tidy and kept my house and items in order and were careful not to track in any dirt into my old or new home. They showed up at our scheduled time and delivery at my new home was on time as scheduled even with DC traffic! Their price was competitive with several other quotes I received. I was very happy overall with 495 movers and would use them again no question. I have and will continue to recommend them to others.
Recent Local Move.
Recently, I had a local move that my son and I were excited about -- yet it was under difficult circumstances. 495 Movers was the company I chose based on excellent online reviews & reputation, professional over-the-phone presentation of services by rep, and reasonable rates without any "hidden charges" or other "surprises."
On moving day, I have to admit I was surprised that everything "in-person" happened as had been described during the phone consult. And, the team of three professional, strong, very helpful gentlemen who handled my move were absolutely wonderful -- even helping me calm down when I started crying about the move situation itself.
495 Movers also handles long-distance moves, and has a separate division dedicated to "handyman" services. This is the first company I will call for my future household needs, as well as for my next move!

I spoke with Josh on the phone to arrange the move. He was friendly and helpful. I was able to pick up boxes and packing paper before the move. On the day of the move, the movers arrived exactly at the scheduled time. They were friendly, efficient, and the move went smoothly with all of my items arriving in perfect condition at my new place. I would DEFINITELY recommend 495 Movers to anyone who is moving.

This company is great. We were referred to them by a friend and I am still in shock at the work the crew did. They showed up on time. They started working within minutes. They never slowed down or took breaks. They were careful with all of our belongings. They treated us with respect.The work that the crew did would have taken me and my friends two days to complete and probably would have cost more. After three hours our house was emptied and our belongings put in storage. The price was reasonable and well worth it. I have already recommended 495 Movers to clients and friends.
