  1. Outstanding Job.

I have personally dealt with several moving companies in the past. I rarely have a good experience, however this was not the case with Agility Van Lines. Everything that we went over on the phone was carried out precisely as planned. What stood out the most was the customer service. From the initial call, to the movers arranging furniture on delivery, everyone was extremely professional. AVL is running a great operation and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to move.

  2. Happy Camper.

I was skeptical at first to use this company because of the negative reviews I saw online. But after speaking with Michael and Austin and reading the positive reviews about Agility Van Lines I decided to give them a try. The estimate was competive and a little more than I anticipated but it was worth it. When the movers arrived the estimate was more so I called to question them about this. Customer service helped me understand why the cost increased and I was allowed to remove some items to stay within my budget. The movers were sympathetic to my situation and allowed me to add a few of the items I had removed at a discounted price. When I could not speak with customer service the representatives at the office did their best to assist me and made me feel at ease. I was contacted before my delivery and informed of the cod at delivery but I needed to pay with a credit card. Although this was against company policy they allowed me to pay with a credit card. I received my things the same way they were picked with the exception of a missing box which was later found and delivered to me. The owner Shane was very apologetic and assured me I would rcv my box once located. Which I did rcv from Fedex. Overall I would recommend Agility to my friends and family.

  3. Go With These Guys!! They Are Great.

Agility Van Lines were VERY impressive. Good prices and the guys were great. I wasn't just a number to them. They took great care with my expensive items and wrapped everything so good. It made a stressful move less stressful for me and my family. The sales rep Michael was very professional and the crew (Shane, Tommie and Kendrick) were amazing. Definitely check these guys out for your move. I've told 3 of my friends about them already.

  4. Moving experience.

Very quick, professional, polite and overall great service! They came exactly the time they said they would and also did everything within the estimated time of pick up to delivery. They handled all furniture and packages with care and set up everything for us. Will definitely be using this company for future moves and referring them to friends and family.

  5. Agility Van Lines.

Do NOT hire this company for out of state moving!!  I was lied to by Shane, the Representative that came to my home on the day of pickup about the fact that my shipment would probably be delivered in the truck that was loaded.   I had trouble getting someone to answer my calls or return calls after pickup.  I was told that I would get a call one to three days prior to delivery.  I was contacted less than 24 hrs. before delivery.  I have a large barbeque grill, 2 box springs, 1 mattress, garden tools , cheval mirror, etc missing.  Most of the boxes were smashed and every piece of furniture is damaged with holes, stains,  scaring, water damage or broken.  Inside the smashed boxes are broken dishes and damaged items.  One box was wet inside and out.  I was told by Shane that the items would be placed in the correct room but delivery men said not their job.  I will update and post pics at a later date when all the boxes are unpacked and the update on missing items.

  6. Horrible experience.

Never use Agility van lines ..I had a horrible experience with them ..they are the worst movers ..Don't waste your money & time. They delivered my stuff after more than a month that too most of my expensive furniture missing..For that they don't give a damn thn you just keep wasting your time & money with the third party claim dpt..They don't care about there customers..

  7. Don't do it! not worth the hassle!

Moved from FL to CA and couldn't have imagined the amount of unneeded stress from any moving company, even after hearing horror stories from friends about other companies. I have no idea how this company has so many good reviews, I can only assume it's friends and family of the company.. OH- know this- the sales team are pros! They're fantastic to deal with and provide you with a lot of information.. but once your order is processed, that all changes- and your original guy will NEVER call you back nor help you out again. anyway- to the point.. errr- points: - sales guy gave me a move out date (July 12). Said usually they give a 2 day window, but he could guarantee a specific date since it was in Orlando. Also told me they would definitely 100% deliver prior to August 1st. None of this was true. - Had to call them multiple times the days leading up to the move out in order to get a time. - Called again evening before the move date to get a time since I hadn't heard back. only then was told my moving date would be different. I expressed concern, as I was flying out that following day and was told it wouldn't be a problem- they would be fast and get there early. (also, my roommate took the day off work.. now unnecessarily. This will be a factor later) - movers showed up 45 minutes later than the 2 hour window day of move (July 13th).  - bf and I almost missed my flight on move out day due to the movers.- PS- it was only a 2 man team for the move out - noticed after they left that they inventoried ALL of my items (including some almost brand-new furniture) as "old/scratches all over." they were so late day of that I couldn't check this. the nicest bits were only a few months old) - I had very clear piles of boxes and items to distinguish mine vs. my roommates. Since they came a day later AND were late, my bf and I spent most of our time packing up things we had paid them to pack up (glass table tops)- instead of watching all the stuff. Also, my roommate wasn't able to help watch them since she took the original scheduled date off work and couldn't change her schedule.. they ended up with one of her boxes. They were mostly helpful in getting the box back to her (we realized it the following day). They wouldn't bring it back to the house, and I was already in CA. Three days later I got a call while I was at work saying that the box was downtown orlando and I needed to come pick it up from someone's house within the next hour.. so- no warning, and I wasn't in town. Roommate was busy too. Luckily, the place was right next door to a bar, and the bar agreed to hold it for us! (I gave them a great review on yelp!!). So she eventually got it back. - I heard no updates on when they would definitely arrive in LA, and I was rushing to find an apartment in time.. I settled on a place *just* in time for July 31st move in date! (note, I settled.. had I known I had an extra 2 weeks to find an apt..) - Had to call them multiple times to try to get a date. Finally heard about their customer service department (methinks they hired that company just at that time, since it came about as a surprise one day after talking to a single person at Agility over and over).. was told to make a request online and wait for a confirmation.. so- still no information. Told them the sales guys (Brandon and Michael were mine) told me it would be delivered by July 31st.. They told me the contract said 7-21 days from date of pickup.. of course, pickup was one day late.. so now I'm told it should be delivered by the 3rd. - Here it is august 3rd. I'm in my new, and empty, apartment. Thanks agility van lines. - I call every other day or so trying to get an update. and am finally told that my stuff has LEFT florida after the 3rd (to recap, it was supposed to ARRIVE by the 31st) - I find out one day ahead that they're coming on the 13th. I guess that's normal, but it was definitely the worst day they could have chosen for me to miss work. I planned to come in the second half of the day, which would be ok.. except.. - movers showed up 45 minutes later than the 2 hour window again (different movers).. I thought it might take 3-4 hours. it took over 5. I missed a very important day of work. - movers brought in various items and boxes that weren't mine. I caught most of them before they made it upstairs. One item, a beautiful, large, old mirror made it into my apartment. I told the guys it wasn't mine. He said it was too heavy to bring back down- "take a look," he said, "if you like it- it's yours!".. I told him again that it was not mine. he asked again if I wanted to keep it.. he finally took it back downstairs. This happened with another few items. One item they brought back downstairs and later we found it was still there when they had gone.  They left it outside (it was just an ikea end table, so much less a big deal than someone's potentially antique mirror).  - I'm missing (I wouldn't say "Stolen"- just missing) 2 boxes. some boxes & furniture damaged.

  8. Incredible customer service, highly recommended!

I recently relocated from Florida to Oregon, and used Agility Van Lines moving services.
Excellent customer service- Michael was the salesman that I dealt with. He was very helpful, he was honest, and he made sure to make the entire moving process as comfortable for me as possible.
Flawless moving experience- Everything arrived on time, and in perfect condition. Michael worked very hard to accommodate my needs perfectly, and I was the one in control.
Excellent service, affordable pricing, and efficient labor is what makes Agility Van Lines a top of the line moving service, which I highly recommend to all movers. -Felicia M.

  9. I will strongly recommend.

We had originally hired a different moving company to move our valuables from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Columbus, OH. But 2 days before the moving date, the company emailed us canceling the appointment. I tried calling them to no results. In a rush, I called Agility van lines, which has a great reputation in the market. By no means were they cheap but they are such a big company that it wasn’t an issue for Jenny (sales rep) to accommodate me. Of course they performed very professionally. The movers were punctual, efficient and strong. They were constantly cracking jokes and it really unloaded some stress of relocation. In the end, the bill was exactly what they estimated earlier. I think I should have hired Agility van lines at the first place.

  10. Horrible experience.

HORRIBLE!! Didn't call the week of the move as to the pick up day and time until the morning of. Didn't call of as 1.5 hours late on pick up day, didn't return phone calls, wound up not showing on moving day and called at 5pm to reschedule for the next day when my moving time was 1pm. Was 1 hour late the next day. Did not inform me the drop off had to be in cash. Lost 1 box of my personal belongings and still has not returned ANY phone calls. Completely unprofessional and I have not been compensated for any of my troubles with the company, not even a phone call apologizing for the inconvenience. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

  11. Tldr: $2000 more than quoted; helpful until contract signed. Then a frustrating and defeating experi.

I keep planning to come online to warn people away from Agility Van Lines, but just thinking of the time it will take to write up my whole saga with them is exhausting. I will probably do that someday, but honestly the fighting I did with them, and the extra $2000.00 they essentially stole from me during the already-stressful process of moving has worn me down.    Save yourself a world of frustration, time, and money, and stay away from Agility Van Lines. I'll try to get on here later to share the whole disaster that was my move with them this last June/July, 2015.

  12. Fast and efficient movers.

I live in a high rise building and if a tenant is moving out, he has to notify the manager beforehand. Then the manager gives you a time slot to use the elevator. When I called Agility van lines to move my stuffs from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Salem, OR, I notified them of this issue. Their crew arrived exactly on time and since it was the first appointment of the day, they were all very charged up. They had a 2-hour window to pack and bring all my stuffs down from my 11th floor apartment. They finished in 1 hour and 45 minutes. My manager said that he has seen many movers but never has he seen such efficient ones. I had to pay them the 2-hour minimum though and frankly I was quite happy to do so.

  13. Damaged items many missing items horrible.

Lied to from the start they use someone else to deliver furn . No communication called 6 hrs prior to delivery nit 24-48 hrs many missing items furniture damaged items do yourself a favor do nit use them you will regret it like I am . I felt patronized being told this happens that's baloney I used united and paid more but guess what it was worth it my stuff was all there . The owner of this company was condesending to me . I work hard for everything I have and now I have a pile of rubbish and things stolen . I plan to also file with the BBB companies like this need to be shut down .

  14. Just terrible.

I have never had such a terrible experience in my life. I've moved 2 weeks ago and have a 2 year old but am yet to see my furniture. They told us 3 different delivery dates by now. They are scamming people and I guess they don't care if your 2 year old is having to sleep on the floor.Never again.
For the pickup we had to ask our landlord to let us stay for a few more days because they missed the pickup by 4 days. On the delivery they promised us the very next week, then the week after, then days later - still nothing. We have to call them every time they will never call us and let us know - so we take days off work for nothing.
It has been an ongoing nightmare.

  15. Successful move not without problems.

Agility gets mixed reviews from me.  They moved my elderly mother's belongings from Florida to Massachusetts without losing or breaking anything – always admirable in movers.  And the movers who picked up and unloaded her stuff were great to work with.  They are assets to the company.  However, there was more than one epic fail in the customer service department - including a big mistake on their part that the owner ignored while it snowballed into a ridiculously stressful experience for me.  Shane, the owner, did eventually make good on the problems and assured me that future customer complaints will be taken seriously and dealt with immediately.  He says he's made changes in the company because of my bad experience.  I sure hope that's true. .
