  1. All American Moving and storage in Hollywood Florida.

Worst experience ever. They are dishonest professional crooks. Damaged almost everything, items go missing and then they lie.

  2. 6 weeks and still no stuff.

I had my mover come pick up my things april 11th from michigan to texas. I was told it would be about 2 weeks for my things to arrive. It is now may 13th and I'm told my stuff is still in michigan. Not sure when and IF my household items will ever get here but living out of a suitcase is not fun. Horrible company and horrible customer service.

  3. DO Not use this company.

This is the most unprofessional moving company ever. They will try the bait and switch on the quote, adding the smallest things like a bed rail. Saying a bedroom set is just a mattress set. When we finally agreed upon a price, the mover were late starting. Didn't bring the right size truck. Left half my stuff, but did not tell me until they had collected the full fee because they won't unload until you pay them. The broke an expensive dining room table, vacuum, glass desk and other items, but did not pay or even acknowledge it. I ended up having to rent a uhaul truck to go get the rest of my items because they blocked my calls and would not respond to emails. They hired a contractor who enter my house without permission and then stole money from my house. It was crazy. Absolutely the worst move I have ever made. they left trash all over the front yard and in the house. If you value your goods, do not use this company.

  4. I have used this company on more than one occasion.

The crews are very polite. They know what they are doing and Ive always felt very comfortable.I have had bad experiences with other companies so its nice to see a company with values and integrity.

  5. Review.

Awesome company highly recommend! Did an outstanding job and helped me a lot! Everything was timely and on point.

  6. Pleasantly Surprised.

When I was first shopping around for moving companies and I got a call from All American, I was hesitant due to the bad reviews I was reading. I brought this up to my sales rep Liz because although the price and her demeanor felt right, I was still suspicious. I asked her to explain to me exactly how the estimate process would go. She broke it down for me. When the price goes up on the day of the move, it is caused by an increase in reported inventory as well as packing materials. I told her I could understand that. I walked around my home that night and took down a detailed list of my furniture and packing materials I thought I might need. The next morning I read her everything, and sure enough the price did go up from the initial estimate. I could have gone with a cheaper company but for the level of service she promised and for her complete honesty, I went with All American. The day of my move went very smoothly although the men showed up an hour late. They recounted all of my items and explained why a few had to be added. All in all, they were very professional and speedy, with my estimate only going up another $150. I would highly recommend All American Moving and Storage, and I would urge future customers of ANY moving company to ask more questions. We only get beat when we do not understand the system.

  7. Horrible Experience.

    RUN AWAY.
I was quoted a price of $1375 by Rachel. I had a specific list of items to move, larger pieces only (King bed set, tall dresser, long dresser, Queen bed set, tall dresser, long dresser, Queen bed set, long dresser, 2 couches, TV stand, round dining table w/4 chairs, corner desk with hutch (3 pieces) Washer / Dryer). The total was 35 pieces. Specified it was from 2 story house to 3 story condo (but only 6 pieces to go up). "Binding Estimate" was for 3 guys and a truck, 4 hrs for packing (12 man hours) and 3 hrs (9 man hours) for unpacking. Paid $200 deposit with my credit card.
Move was scheduled for Friday 9/8. Driver (Jeff) called with truck problems (in Jax) and we agreed to delay to Saturday.
On Saturday around 4pm driver called with continued truck problems. I accommodated a delay to Sunday(9/10) in lieu of a late Saturday night pack.
On Sunday at 8am, driver called and said they were still two hours away. They arrived at 11 am, 3 hours later in a leased Penske Truck. Only two guys and a truck. I asked where the third guy was and was told they didn't need a third guy. I said that it will take longer with only 2.
Second guy started pack up the truck. after about a third of the items were loaded, the driver approached me and tells me there is a STAIR fee and "LONG WALK" fee to be added. that is another $1000 bringing my total form $1375 to $2375, almost double. I asked about the stair fee and driver indicated anything over 7 steps is extra. My "binding agreement" clearly stated multiple stories on both ends. I said I wasn't paying. I showed him my agreement for $1375 and Jeff stated "Rachel and the other estimators don't know what they are doing".
Driver then started strong arming me. I tried to call the office but no one to answered because it is Sunday! I left messages with dispatch and customer service. Jeff the driver said I was only dealing with him now. He threatened to take the furniture off the truck if I didn't agree to the higher price. I finally relented to the long walk fee but not the stairs charge, new total is $1975. Jeff stated I needed CASH or MONEY order to unload. I said it is SUNDAY! and you delayed me two days. The banks are not open. He suggested Walmart for a money order.
Ok finally packed and truck rolling at 3pm.
I drive to the unload residence (2 hours away). I go to Walmart for the $1775 balance. Guess what, they don't allow a credit card. Debit only, My limit is $500 a day. I figure that have my credit card on file already. no problems. (WRONG).
Driver arrives after 8pm on Sunday nite to unload. First question is "Where is my MONEY". I pleaded with him that my Credit card is on file with AAMS or I can get a bank check on Monday at 9am. He closed up the truck is MAD at ME complaining that I am holding him up from other deliveries. This is after he is two days late. and takes 5 hours to drive two. Starts telling me about a storage fee and re-delivery fee ($600 and $600) and not sure when he will be back. EXTORTION at it's finest. Oh and that HE OWNS MY FURNITURE while it is on the truck.
I get a text at 12 midnight that he will be back Monday morning at 730 am sharp and if I am not there, I will be charged a WAIT CHARGE. And bring $2400.
I wake up at 7:30 in a different part of town an see the text message!. I text and call Jeff the driver with no response. Oh no. I race over to the house and guess what NO TRUCK.
He finally calls me at 815 and says he is eating breakfast and will be there shortly, make sure you have the money.
I finally get ahold of dispatch at AAMS office (not that hey called me back) and explained the story. He then talked to the driver and said keep the agreement ($1775) and the driver would be there in 30 min (by 9am).
Well the driver finally arrived at 11am to unload after viewing my bank check. I didn't say five words to the driver. Just release my hostage furniture.
    HORRIBLE Experience.

  8. Do not use this company.

I hired this company and was given a quote but the cost was higher after they loaded the truck, and had several items in the house left to load I was told the cost was going to be higher!! So I had to pay more or else they would not take the rest of the items. Then I was told that I had to pay $150.00 to have the items stored in the truck overnight, which was fine, however when my items were delivered I was missing a table and was told that they would look for it in the warehouse. Why would it be in the warehouse if it remained on the truck?? Then I was told I would only get 60 cents per pound which they wrote in the contract!! I did sign the contract so I can’t argue. But they lied about my things staying on the truck!! Do not use this company as they will steal your things and then pay you 60 cents!! Big rip off.

  9. Choose a different company!

The most unprofessional moving company. So far my mother has been cussed at by the driver, fluctuating prices. Clearly there is a miscommunication between the delivering driver and dispatch as they both claim differing things. Every single point of contact for this company has been rude. Complaints have been made, repeated phone calls not returned. Delivery driver is demanding he can only deliver on one day and is not able to accommodate any other delivery date without storage fees even though we are given only 2 day notice. I used North American Van Lines for my across country move and they were nothing short of superb, clearly All American has a lot to learn. Now we are told by All American that if we aren't able to accept the items on the day they choose, they will charge an EXTRA $1500! The AG will be hearing from me soon if this is not resolved and I will get my attorney involved. Will update review if this gets resolved or becomes worse.

  10. Absolutely the worst business experience.

Do not use these movers, they will be late, your belongings will not arrive in a timely manner and they will extort you out of more money. I'm surprised no one hasn't put together a class action lawsuit on this company yet. Truck arrived 3 hours late, and already 1/3 full. I told them right away it's not all going to fit, we are a family of 4 with a full townhouse. Driver felt our inventory estimate was right on and he knew it wasn't going to fit when he oicked up the truck. So after calling them Jordan said oh yeah we have other trucks in the area if it doesn't all fit. I was frustrated and said I better not be charged anymore for their mistake. 2 hours later when everything wasn't going to fit Jordan says it's going to now cost me twice as much now for a second truck! After some choice words and conversation they still go 400 out of me, they will take advantage of the situation with your back against the wall with time and logistics in working out a move across the state.

They will not communicate with you and just feed you lies and more lies. Our stuff was getting picked up "today" for a week until we received our stuff.

The owner Chad I'm guessing is about 30 since every time I talked to me he kept calling me bro. How no I'm not your bro and I can't believe you are some hoe in charge of this mess. Drivers are over worked with 20 HR days sometimes, I gather that's why they are late in the AM. Labor laws don't apply here either nor do ethics. If you put your deposit down already cut your losses and go with somebody else.

We had a mattress that wasn't covered but was supposed to be and broken bookshelf. As I write this the second load still hasn't come yet but a police report has!

Pics show truck 1/3 full without OUR stuff but somebody else's.

    I will say it again..RUN!

  11. The best moving company and experience!

First I would like to say that moving is very stressful. I’m the service industry myself and all have to say is this company provide more then just a servcie. From the office staff of Jordan and Bill these guys made me feel so comfortable. They were so detailed with my entire move. They sent an estimator to my home in Pembroke Pines to move me to my new home in plantation. The movers Anthony, Roosevelt, Andrew, Shaun, lael, and Vinny were so professional and efficient. They took so much care with moving my stuff. They work hard and packed everything and labeled every box. You pay for what you get. Spend money and have it handled by all American moving and storage. Thank you Jordan and bill! Great service!

  12. Awful Customer Service, No Communication.

ZERO STARS, if possible. The other negative reviews you'll read here are accurate and mine is just another one to add to them - including the naming of specific employees.
Please, do not hire this company.
It is moving day and I am currently waiting on a truck. I have had no communication from the company after scheduling two weeks ago. I have had to call the company three times this morning to figure out what is going on. My husband took a day off work for this, and so far, no results. I've got a baby at home, the entire house packed up - by myself since my husband is working in the city we are moving to - and another child I'll need to leave to go pick up from school. The day is almost halfway gone already. I do not appreciate the complete lack of communication from All American Moving and Storage (to be transparent, they apparently have it logged on their computer systems that they called me twice yesterday, but I have no missed calls - and no on left a voicemail, if they did call, trying to confirm the move I scheduled with their company for the next day..), I haven't received any follow-up emails, calls, voicemails, or text messages. And I am starting to panic. I simply find this lack of organization and the feeling that I am completely left in the wind about this big event in our life to be totally disconcerting (that means it all makes me feel really, really uncomfortable), and I have lost any potential trust and faith in the abilities of this company to be professional.
If I were a part of the All American Moving and Storage team, I would like to think I would understand how disruptive moving is to the families and try to make sure the whole process was as considerate as possible on our end, because, you know: customer service, and money, and livelihood, and all that.
UPDATE: I just called to cancel the move, because this is just ridiculous - especially after reading other reviews specifically mentioning Jordan, who happened to be the one I was speaking with the most, and how truly rude and uncaring he was to other customers. I told him I had no faith in the company's ability to handle our move with care, that their lack of communication was appaling, and their customer service showed how little they valued the people who paid them money. Jordan said "But you gotta think about the rain, Ma'am - I got people waiting three hours on trucks to be unloaded because of rain, think about that. I can't control the weather. It backs everything up. You gotta think about that." I let him know that my issue had nothing to do with the weather. I take umbrage with the way the company has handled everything - and no one mentioned rain or weather or a reason for things being "back up" before this..that's the poor communication piece I'm talking about. So, once I said that, Jordan decided it was appropriate to try to turn this into an argument, "Who didn't communicate with you? Oh, let me shoot you an email showing you that we called you and that YOU didn't answer and YOU didn't communicate with US." So, NOW I receive communication. NOW they are able to send emails. When I told him earlier that I had not been contacted at all, he said their computer log showed they had called me twice yesterday afternoon, and that I should have received a text after that. I have no missed calls, no voicemail, and received no texts. But now that I am a dissatisfied customer, this has turned into some classless, Judge Judy situation, complete with "let me prove YOU wrong" emails. Ridiculous. I let them know they could keep the $200 I had to pay as a deposit to secure my moving day, since I was positve I wouldn't get it back anyway, and Jordan said, "Yeah, I'm going to keep your $200 - thanks for that." Please, have nothing to do with this company.

  13. Horrible!! do Not Use These Scammers!!

All American Moving and Storage refuses to refund my $200 deposit although they never provided any service to me. They gave me a quote for my move from Port St. Lucie FL to Tampa FL which was $510. When the driver got to my apartment, he said I had too many boxes. I told him it's ok, if he takes only the furniture and the amount of boxes that was quoted. He started making excuses that he doesn't think it will fit in his truck. I offered to take only my furniture and he refused again be saying he doesn't have enough blankets .. He was speaking to the supervisor and I had a feeling they were trying to change the price and wanted to charge me more. He said he could come back tomorrow and will call me later that day to tell me what time he will be at my house the next day. He called, and we agreed that he will be at my house around noon. The next day I was not able to reach him and he did not show up. I tried calling the company and the owner Chad told me that the truck will come back for $1200. I refused and told him to refund my money. He responds to me that he "doesn't feel like it". I told him that it is illegal to keep my deposit because this company hasn't touched or moved anything in my house and left me and my 4 y.o. child stuck at the apartment for two days when my lease had expired already. He laughed at me and said he doesn't know when he will refund my deposit. I tried emailing and texting the agent who I was in touch with originally, but did not receive any responses. My deposit was never refunded. I had to hire another moving company to be moved on a very short notice with my child and it was extremely stressful for both of us, as I am a single mother and don't have a lot of money to waste, especially when they gave me a quote on paper with price and delivery date, and then decided to charge me $1200 for the move. I never received my money back and will be filing a formal complaint with the Attorney General Office.

  14. Awesome team.

Our moving team of 3 young men made moving so much less stressful. They were professional, polite, careful, organized and thorough. Our move included a stop to drop off at another location and they were gracious and very considerate of timing and my expense that I may incur for the addition. The gentlemen worked through the rain and challenging traffic of Miami to get this move done for us. The break down of the cost was thoughtful and easy to understand. This was the DREAM TEAM for movers.

  15. A Horrible Moving Experience.

These people at All American Moving and Storage are unscrupulous liars and thieves. Although JORDAN, confirmed our move the day before, the truck arrived FIVE hours late. I called the driver numerous times throughout the day and he lied every time, saying he was only 40 minutes away. JORDAN, refused to take my calls all day despite my desperate messages about my 95 year-old mother being weak and hungry. When the driver finally arrived, he was agitated and wanted to reschedule. He agreed to do the move when he saw it was only a small amount of stuff to move. BUT, he refused to unload the truck unless we paid in cash. He claimed that he couldn't take credit because the office was closed and JORDAN couldn't make the necessary approval. As soon as he got our cash, we heard him talking to JORDAN. JORDAN needs to be FIRED and nobody should every use ALL AMERICAN - the worst company ever.
