  1. Awful Moving Company

What an awful moving experience we had with this company. I scheduled our move time from 12-3. The day before the move I never received a called letting us know what time they would be arriving. I had to call them twice before getting an answer. They had changed the time from 12-5, and never let me know it had changed. On moving day I had to call them three times to check when the movers would be arriving. I paid for two movers and four showed up. They had no urgency till we told them we had to hurry. One of the movers said he was working for free to move us fast. Well we never asked for 4 movers. Than it took them an hour to get to the storage unit which it only should have taken them 40 minutes. Come to find out they stopped and dropped off the other two guys and filled up on gas on my time during our move. Edward the manager did not care about my concerns nor did he apologize. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

  2. Lost Boxes and Damage to my Property

Birmingham Alabama. I hired All My Sons Movers to move me and what a disappointment. Stay away from them. Look at all the one star reviews. They lost three of my boxes and damaged a lot of my property. They sent inexperienced movers and one was mouthy when I asked him to be more careful with my stuff. A claim had to be filed. It was almost $2,000.00. They offered me less than $500.00. Totally unacceptable. I will file as many bad reviews as

I can. I also plan to report them to the BBB, to FMCSA and to the AMSA. Very bad business with All My Sons Moving and Storage. Marie Vernon

  3. Cherry Hil. NJ branch, however their management in Texas is horrendous

I hired the NJ branch for a very small job & they managed to destroy a sofa bed, other large items & "lose" entire boxes with appliances I had to replace. The packing tape, utility scissors & bubble wrap I supplied were missing. Left a dresser in the middle of the room. Had no tools or anything to cover furniture. Charged my debit card double the quoted price. The employees, especially Mike in Cherry Hill are insulting, making racially charged statements that didn't even apply. I have to hire a hauler & professional mover to clean up their mess. They knew I was a disabled senior.

Headquarters in Carrollton, Texas responded very sympathetically, but insulted me with an offer that didn't even cover the smaller losses yet alone the large ticket items I replaced. Moreover they promise their movers adhere to COVID restrictions yet fail to & get angry about it.

Bottom line, don't walk away from this company anywhere in the country, run.

  4. A very Horrible experience.

It started with the phone call. “So you are having a yard sale today?” I guess he was trying to be funny. He continued “We put some stuff in your truck and some in ours” I told him he was scaring me because I did not understand what he was talking about.

Anyway they got there and there was several lengthy things to sign, which was using up the time I paid for. It was obvious they were dragging things out to extend the time. I was quoted $477 for the 1st 3 hrs which included their travel time and it would be $159 for each additional hr. Well after the 3 hrs of them dragging their feet. He said I had to sign for an additional $477. I told him that was not my understanding. Anyway I signed because he threatened to leave. They left at 12:30p without informing us. Leaving behind their cups and trash.

I decided to call the office. I was told they gave in their report, saying they ended at 2:30p. It was 1:45p . I said “Sir it is not even 2:30 yet.” I was told $318 would be credited back to my card. I am still waiting. And I have called several times.

I tried not to write a negative review but still waiting on that $318 I was fraudulently charged, left me no choice. This was such a horrible experience.

  5. Terrible moving company!

With this company, the customer is always WRONG!!

Absolutely the worst experience that I have ever had with a moving company. I made a deposit weeks in advance, and when trying to confirm when the movers would arrive, just days before, they tell me they have no record of my deposit ( which I can see went through just fine in my online banking app). Then, they will make no adjustments to their schedule to "fit us in", even though we only need them for a few hours. THEY WILL NOT EVEN REFUND MY DEPOSIT, EVEN THOUGH IT IS THEIR SYSTEM WHICH IS AT FAULT! Completely scam-y. Don't risk your move being messed up like mine.

  6. Moving

Great guys and really respectful, they weren’t the issue I had booked them to move October 9 and went ahead to pay deposit of 100 to have them come to my house that day, well I got a call from their office saying they couldn’t come because the ppl they helped weren’t able to close on their house mind you I had them scheduled for October 9 early in the morning and they said that was fine. Well they called saying they couldn’t make it we agreed on a different day and they had told me that they would charge me $129 and 6% for gas basically a discount due to the fact that they didn’t come on the day that I scheduled them, well that was a lie ! They overcharged me way more only because it was 3 guys that’s not what they told me and that’s not my problem. I called the to tell them what happened and that I wanted a refund they said they would and I still haven’t gotten my refund back very disappointed and will be calling again because they literally overcharged me way more, we just bought a house and the extra money I had left was literally all gone to the movers smh never again. Extremely disappointed bad business….

  7. All my Son's moving company

This company is the worse ive ever seen. They started late . They took a hours to do 3 hour job. They took many brakes. Sitting in thier truck. They wanted to use the bathroom no problem but i had place cleaned up left toilet paper all over the bathroom twice which was cleaned before they came. They quoted me 600.00 They called me before they unloaded they 1450.00 , I gave them a thousand. When they unloaded they dump everything in the middle of the floor. They were instructed put the bedroom furiture in the bedroom they did'nt the scracht every furiture i own. They broke my couch and table. They did about 1950.00 im damage, They put burn marks on my all my couches buy draging them on the concrete walls. I disputed the move and damages with them and my credit card company this still in progress. By far. Stay far away from this company.

  8. Do Not Use this Company

Working with this company has been a horrible experience! The movers were extraordinarily slow (I had less than the equivalent of a 1 bedroom apartment and it took them over 8 hours: charged over: $1,200). On top of that they damaged several pieces of furniture, scratched my hardwood floors (13 feet of damage $4,100 to repair), broke both of my smart TV's (one of which was $2,800) and were only willing to rectify the situation by paying $300 for the thousands of dollars of damage they caused.

USE ANOTHER COMPANY. THIS ONE IS HORRIBLE AND YOU WILL REGRET USING THEM!

  9. Worst moving company ever

Three weeks ago I contacted your company to move my items from Ft Worth to Weatherford. Three different times I had to confirm my move for a two man crew $139.00 an hour/four hour minimum. The day before I was to be moved I was contacted and told I could move to a different day or they only had a three man crew for $189.00. I let that go and went ahead with the move. I was told I was the 2nd move of the day and that was fine that they start wrapping up by 4pm. I called on Saturday to get an estimated time and asked for a call back, I never received one and an hour and a half later I called back and was told they were wrapping up by 2:30 and would get a call an hour before. So I went to Weatherford to unload a few things since we had been waiting and of course they call and say they are 30-40 minutes. My husband rushed back to them and once he got there the three man crew one of the guys was allergic to cats and the others were complaining of how much we had. I got a call from Trace in that office –who is highly unprofessional and his only way of dealing with anything is to hang up on people. Come to fund out the only thing I left out(by accident) on the 3rd confirmation I made was our gun safe. When the movers were sitting there for over an hour complaining- about the company(All my Sons) and telling him they were not going to move our boxes which were told from the beginning that were to be moved. No work done still at this time, Trace has hung up on me and my husband at least three times a piece. I work for a title company and I know that customer service is important to me and should be to your company but we never got to move on Saturday nor did anyone call us back, we had asked to speak to the general manager and still have not received a phone call. This is the worst experience I could ever imagine. I expect a refund of my deposit as no one other than Chase there was helpful at all. He even said to us if it was his choice he would refund us the deposit for what we went through. He has seemed to be the only one to even call us back. Trace is awful and should be let go, his customer service skills are ridiculous! Also your general manager is not calling back and just avoiding the whole situation. I expect this to be made right! We still have not moved into our home and your workers complained over an hour about some items that took him and I 30 minutes to load up. I expect a call back from your corporate office on how to rectify this situation.

Also the guy that was allergic to cats told my husband he has a moving business on the side and can move us for cheaper. ( is this the kind of people you want running your company?)

  10. Took advantage of senior citizens - Way over-charged!

Moved a small, 1 bedroom apartment from the first floor to the second floor in the SAME building; $1056.00! This company charges for everything; $209 per hour - 3 hour MINIMUM (took then 1.5 hours), another $209 for "travel time", even though the move was in Lee's Summit where their office was clamed to be (travel was really about 20 minutes from Kansas City), $117.40 fuel charges, $102.60 for wrapping a sofa, small table and dresser! Did NOT even cover mattresses! This is exorbitant fee by ANY industry standard and I DO NOT recommend this company - go somewhere else! This was a move for fixed income senior citizens and this company took advantaged! Do NOT fall for that "white glove" salesman talk, as they will rape your bank account.

  11. Appalling Management

The movers were fine. There was one female there who was a little slower given physical limitations, but they were courteous and tried to protect my stuff even if the TV stand got damaged. I moved 1 bedroom set, 1 TV/Stand and 1 couch. I had other misc things in the loading dock that I moved down by myself in an hour before they got there. The actual move was only 5 miles down the road. My friend who made an almost identical move was charged 2.5 hours. He did not move things to the loading dock by himself. I was charged 4.5 hours on site and was called the next day seeking an extra 2.5 hours worth of work. I bent over backwards to make sure that there was no excuses for them to go over the minimum 4 hour time too. I packed and moved 100% of small items and boxes before the movers arrived. Management should be ashamed of themselves.

  12. Disgraceful practices

Fraudulent practices. The movers were wonderful but management lies. We were quoted $625 for 3 hours. We went over by 2 hours and were charged $765 MORE. We didn’t use any of their boxes, just some of their wrapping for our mirrors.

  13. Cheaters

100% ripped off, you will be the Rare exception. Honestly, I don't know how these guys manage to stay in business. Reeead the reviews. They are so horrible I'd say they aren't even legal. I was all set up to be moved on a Monday, as the buyers of my house expected to take over the house on Tu. The estimated cost was supposed to be $600ish. A fellow called on teh pre-ceeding weekend and said he needed to come out and and ck the job out. Then he upped the price to almost Three Times what I had been quoted. I not only screamed, but I practically begged them to not change the price, but I got nowhere, even after trying to talk to a national manager. Knowing that my job wouldn't be that major, I eventually changed to some sort of by hour charge or something, and was out of there for $1400, which is still insane since all my stuff was ready to go, and it wasn't that much, and we weren't going far... and no stair sor anything like that. 3 guys showed up, and the whole job only took a few hours. Pretty lame for $1400, and yes, I would have changed companies or done the move myself, but I had to be out right away, and so they had me over a barrel, so I had no choice but to get ripped off. My stuff was put in storage in such a way that I would not be able access any drawers or any of my things for the entire time it was in there. Over a year later (finally got a new house), I called this same company again, just to ck to see what would happen.... and also bc I was still not believing how bad I got lied to and taken advantage before... feels really bad to be done that way. Once again, they quoted me $600ish dollars, but this time, I had no deadline, and I remembered everything from before, and no way I was going to trust them (fool me once shame on you.. fool me twice shame on me), so I went and rented the smallest truck that U-Hual has and started to move what I could. I wound up loading it 100% entirely by myself, several times in fact (short trips), and lo and behold the job was Done, and I cancelled my moving appt with the crooks telling them no way I was going to trust them or let them take advantage of me like they managed to do the first time around. Warning... never ever ever use these guys. You'll be asking for it and you'll be sorry you did.

  14. Move Gone Horribly Wrong

All My Sons Moving & Storage agreed to pack and move a 3,600 sq foot house w/ a 2,000+ sq ft basement over two days (w/ a provision of an extra 1/2 day if necessary)

Sent a 4 man crew Day 1 and only packed part of the house and left early. This forced me to do a lot of the packing that night to insure a timely move as we had to be completely out by that 3rd day.

AMS didn't take an inventory and didn't mark any of the boxes they packed. Further, as I later discovered, they didn't actually pack the boxes outside the dishware (items were just thrown in boxes)

The next day, they sent a different crew who had no idea what the first crew had done. They focused on loading items that needed to go to the storage unit, which they moved in that night.

On the 3rd day, no crew showed up. When I inquired, I was told the crew that was supposed to come to the house had quit and AMS would find others to move the goods.

A 4 man crew arrived several hours late who were not very experienced (by their own admission). One crew member spent the majority of their time on the phone, to the point at which the other crew members complained to AMS management but were told to keep the worker on the job.

Due to the amount of time the move was taking and the fact that we had to be out of the old house that day, I worked with the movers all day moving items in and out of the truck.

To complicate matters, b/c none of the boxes AMS packed were marked, each had to be opened up to see where it should go. Further, none of the movers had any idea where any of the furniture went soI had to move furniture and direct traffic.

The work finally ended after 10:00 pm that night. An AMS supervisor came out to the site and apologized and indicated that things had gone very wrong.

The movers did not set up anything on the other end (beds, tables, etc.). Also, AMS did not pack any of the hardware with the items that they came from so (i.e., nuts and bolts to reattach the bed frames). I either had to spend days searching through boxes looking for it, or in some cases I had to create it.

Finally, complicating everything was the fact that AMS ignored the direction provided as to what went to storage and what went to the house (boxes were clearly marked and furniture was tagged by me to indicate where it went). This has resulted in several month's worth of work shuttling items back and forth to get everything right - exacerbated by the fact that while I asked that AMS leave a path in the middle of the storage unit, they chose to just stack everything on top of one another requiring me to remove everything to get anything out.

When I spoke to AMS the next day, they agreed that things had gone horribly wrong (i sent him a large array of pictures of furniture still wrapped in pad, boxes completely blocking entrance to the kitchen, boxes in the wrong location). Recognizing that I had been asked by AMS to pay for every hour expended by the movers, whether it was productive or not, we agreed to recalculate the moving costs and agree on an amount that was fair for what it should have taken to complete the job.

We agreed on a $1,300 refund (this was before I knew that the movers sent a lot of the items to the wrong location). Despite numerous follow up by both email and phone over several months, I had seen nothing. Eventually AMS responded to all of the above that the are only responsible for $288 but will pay $900 if I simply go away. Several items were also stolen during the move but AMS did not take any responsibility for this.

  15. Terrible Service

Terrible experience. Booked the move weeks in advance, they did not show up on the day of moving. They called late that day that they would come the following morning at 7:30, they arrived at 850. They sent 3 guys to move 1 couch, 2 recliners, one bedroom suit, and a kitchen table. After arriving at 850, 945 was the first time they places a piece of furniture on the truck. It took over 3 HOURS for them to move JUST OUT OF THE HOUSE INTO THE TRUCK. The move was to a location that was less than 2 miles away. All in all it costs more than $850 and they also banged up the walls, put a hole in the base board of the new place, and damaged the bottoms of all our furniture by sliding all the pieces on the floor/concrete. Will never use this company again.
