  1. Theft.

Not only does this company not take care of your belongings but they also steal from you and will not reimburse for the theft.
Used this company 4/29/2019 to move less than a mile, had several items damaged, boxes left in the garage and one of the workers stole 4 pieces of jewelry and pawned them. 2 items were recovered by police, the other 2 were not. The appraisal for the 2 pieces of jewelry is $19,000, they said jewelry appraisal are increased for insurance value and offered 2 settlements $4000 & $6000. They also said they called the jewelry company which they did not otherwise they would have told them the appraisals are correct. The employee was arrested , trial is 12/4/19. They are not a trust worthy company. Check out complaints on Facebook there is a page dedicated to there bad business.

  2. Overcharges for wrap, tape ect ect.

Got charged for "materials" that were not used during the move. When I complained I got a partial refund. What if I had nor complained? The workers were excellent, professional and worked quickly and efficiently they were courteous and very very contentious in all aspects of he move. They saved me a half hour of unload time by busting their butts. The management at the office asked me "what did I want"? I told them that I wanted to be charged honestly and fairly. 62.00 for materials. All my items were in boxes, only five items were wrapped in shrink and tape. All blankets were returned.I asked for an itemized bill of the "materials" I have not received this as of this review.
I would use this company again BUT I would not trust them to provide me with any materials at all. The movers were great and NOTHING was damaged in any way during handling or moving.

  3. Stolen Computer.

All My Sons movers stole my computer during the course of a move. Corena Edens customer relations offered 0 assistance in the matter. How horrible of a feeling to pay someone to come into your home, just to steal from you. I am disappointed and recommend to stay away from this company so that they don't have the opportunity to steal from you too. Absolutely ridiculous.

  4. Beware Hidden Costs.

I’ve used this company twice trying to give them a second chance but it won’t happen again.
The first time I had them out just to unload a UHAUL and the guys were great. They unloaded quickly and were careful, etc. However, the guy on the phone confirmed with me the minimum labor cost was one hour. It took 20 minutes to unload my truck and that was fine except that when it came time to pay my bill I was told SURPRISE it was a two hour minimum so it cost me about $300 to get a handful of items unloaded off of a truck.

Needed movers again about two months later. This time I literally had furniture left to move and so elected to just use their truck and have them load and unload it this time. Previous to choosing to go with them I called twice and confirmed rates and dates with both Steven and Jeremy who agreed travel time was to be set at 5 hours with a 2 hour minimum on labor as well as a ten percent discount for being a repeat customer. I was told I would get a confirmation phone call both the day before and thirty minutes out from arrival. I got neither and had to call them to confirm.

Driver got here and has my travel time set to six hours, no notes of my repeat customer discount and NEWS!! there’s now a ten percent fuel charge. Talked to Mark, the owner, who refused to acknowledge that his employees are not going over all of the information with customers and would not remove the fuel charge or give me the ten percent discount. I would’ve gladly told them to walk if I’d not already put down a sizable deposit.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Go with a different company and when you do ask all the questions and ask the person you talk to if they’re taking notes.

  5. RIDICULOUS PRICE- One Bedroom Apartment Move.

I’ve been seriously taken for a lot of money. When I read reviews on All My Sons website I saw great reviews and thought them to be reasonable when I got my quote I also received great customer service but on move day that all changed!! Now I see all these reviews similar to my experience with them. I should have done more research!! My quote $440 which included two men and truck. Truck was flat rate of one hour which was $119. Their quote states that it is an estimate and while it may take less time you should be prepared to pay the full amount. Final charge =$926!! My move was from a one bedroom apartment under 600 square feet with an elevator into a storage unit with ramp access on the first floor. No appliances. One stop in between to drop off a mattress box spring one box and three suitcases. I contacted manager to discuss my concerns about how long it was taking, the carelessness for my boxes marked fragile and my furniture as well as one mover who clearly did not want to work and preferred hiding in my bathroom as well as texting on his phone. The manager acknowledged it was a problem but after the move was completed he was totally unwilling to compromise or offer any deductions, he told me that the quote basically doesn’t mean anything that I received the service and now I just need to pay. I explained my frustration and that since he knew it was a problem earlier and I’m their customer they should at least meet me halfway with the difference. He said “no, a quote is just a quote you received the service now you need to pay”. I said “well then what is the purpose of a quote I can understand it’s an estimate but clearly an estimate is based on previous history and should not vary more than maybe an hour at most, you were made aware of my concerns and offered only to talk to your staff, that’s not helping me.” I asked three times to speak to someone else and by now I’m super pissed and cursed so he (Steven) transferred me to his superior I believe that was William who offered me $39 off for three hours of labor for the individual whom I felt was not working, which equals basically one hour of labor. His theory is $39/hour per unit with the total unit being $119/hour and the unit consisting of three parts being one man, another man and the truck. (But you also pay an extra hour JUST for the truck) so not sure why also pay $39 an hour for the truck. OH and did I mention that the $39/hour plus $119 flat rate for truck does NOT include gas!! Yep so that was another $120 and my move was 10 miles plus the stop which was 2.5 miles!! So that’s $10 a mile for gas. At least William was polite and offered some assistance. Shout out to their driver Henry who was hustling as fast as he could was polite professional and even brought some screws that he found in truck back to me later that evening. I had asked Steven (Manager) if almost $1,000 was normal for a one bedroom apartment move. He told me that he could not answer that question because it all depends on what you have in your apartment OK I understand that but I have the same stuff anybody else would have in a one bedroom apartment which is a sofa a dining table with a bench and four chairs, two TVs, two TV stands, one bed, one dresser, two nightstands, dishes, pots and pans, clothes and you know some miscellaneous items that were in boxes total of 15 boxes and five large bins plus some garbage bags, wall hangings, no appliances!! I won’t even get into the broken items and care of my possessions. I’m sure you get the message.. Go elsewhere!! I didn’t even pay this much to movers to move a three bedroom from Minnesota all the way to Texas! You can see in the attached photo all of the items moved into a 10x12 storage until that’s not even full. That’s what $926 will get you. Minus $119 after being disrespected and complaining.

  6. I wouldn’t recommend All My Sons to my family, friends, or anyone.

I thought I hired a reputable moving company, but instead it has been a nightmare. First, I want to say that they send two guys to move us. Little that I know that one of the guys, it was his first day on the job. He was getting train by the other guy on my time. Secondly, they were taking to long to move my furniture. But I thought it’s ok because they don’t want to damage my furniture. Boy was I wrong, they did a lot of damage to my furniture and they did some damages to my house as well. The moving company only wants to reimburse us a fraction of what we paid for our furniture which it’s not right since we only had our furniture for about 8 months. They were very careless to my furniture. I definitely wouldn’t recommend All My Sons Moving and storage to no one..

  7. Terrible experience, terrible customer service in Charlotte, NC.

If I could give no stars I would. We scheduled a move for this afternoon a month ago and paid our deposit. The crew shows up to our building (to move our 1200sq ft apt on the 2nd floor) and decides its "too far of a walk" and leaves. We didn't even know they left! A customer service agent called and told us! We asked for another crew then and he said he would call us back. He didn't. When we called back he danced around the issue until we asked for a manager. The manager told us it was "tough" and said he would issue a refund for our deposit.
They totally left us in a lurch. We need to be out of our apartment tonight! We didn't rent a uhaul or ask friend for moving help because we paid for who were thought were professionals!! Now we are left scrambling, waiting on a refund, and stuck begging friends to come help!
Who does that to someone? Way to make a stressful day even worse All My Sons!

  8. Ripped Off!!

This company is a bunch of scam artist. Told job was 2 hours quote 560.00 to 5+ hours 1100.00 Owner didn't give a [EDIT]. Dont use them.

  9. No show.

I paid my deposit but they never showed up for the move. They were apparently overbooked, but instead of calling me to let me know or to reschedule, I had to call them to ask where is the moving truck? The soonest they could reschedule my move was in 3 more days! I cancelled and they credited my deposit. I wound up going with Movers Academy who were able to schedule the move in 2 days. Movers Academy did a great job and I highly recommend them. I would not take a chance on All My Sons again.

  10. Damaged Property, Poor Customer Service, Ignoring Our Claim.

We moved across town approximately a month and a half ago. On the day they arrived, many of our items were packed well and put in the truck carefully. We get to our piano, and it all went south from there. They wrapped it haphazardly, even after me mentioning something. Then, as they took it down our apartment complex stairs, they dragged the side of it and both gouged the piano and broke one of the stairs. Our movers response was "just kick the stair back in it will be fine." After completing our move, I began the claim process with All My Sons. I submitted photos and a claim form and it has now been 26 days with zero contact or momentum in the claim after repeated email attempts. And every time I email, I am told that person no longer works for them and given another address. Seems a very sketchy place.

  11. All My sons Moving; disrespected and unprofessional.

IF I COULD RATE THEM FOR THEIR ACTIONS, THEY WOULD GET A “ZERO STAR..”

WHAT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! 5 HOURS LATE- THEN MANAGEMENT ARGUED WITH ME ABOUT THEY NEVER SET A TIMEFRAME..A LIE. THEN BROUGHT WRONG EQUIPMENT TO OFFLOAD MY HOUSEHOLD GOODS, EVEN AFTER I WAS VERY, VERY SPECIFIC ON WHAT MY LOAD CONTAINED. MANAGEMENT REFUSED TO CONCEDE THEY MESSED UP MY ENTIRE DAY AND MADE NUMEROUS MISTAKES IN PREPARING. WHEN SPEAKING TO MANAGEMENT ON SITE, THEY REFUSED TO MOVE MY OFFLOAD TO THE NEXT MORNING, THEN REFUSED TO RETURN MY DEPOSIT!! THEN HE TOLD ME HE NEEDED TO ADD ANOTHER PERSON, AND THAT THEY WOULD NOT DO THE MOVE WITHOUT ADDING ANOTHER BODY AT $149 PER HOUR!!

    IN ALL:
    1. REFUSED TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE AGREED UPON, PREVIOUSLY AGREED TO UNLOADING PARAMETERS
    2. REUSED TO PRORATE ANY FEE DUE TO MANAGEMENTS NEGLIGENCE IN ENSURING PROPER EQUIPMENT WAS ON SITE PER THE DISCUSSED PARAMETERS
    3. REFUSED TO RETURN MY DEPOSIT..WHY?
    4. TRIED TO PRICE GOUGE ME FOR THEIR MISTAKES
    5. DISRESPECTED A RETIRED COMBAT VETERAN OVER AND OVER!!
**DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE IF YOU EXPECT TO BE TREATED AS A CUSTOMER SHOULD BE!!**.

  12. Lost a Box of Family Photos.

I had a short, simple move that involved 4 heavy boxes and household furniture. The boxes were loaded first then all the furniture. Drove the goods less than 10 miles to new home. They unloaded the truck and it appeared everything had been unloaded. These four boxes where to be brought upstairs and upon reviewing the room they appeared to be all there but since I had moved other boxes into that room it wasn't clear until I unpacked that I was missing one of the boxes they moved. One week later when I finally unpacked this area it was identified that one box was missing that had inside it 3 large photo safe boxes filled with family photos that are not digital. I immediately called the movers and explained that I was missing a box. They stated they didn't have them and the truck was empty. I asked them to interview the three crew members that handled the job as they should know where the box is. They all deny that a box was left on the truck. I believe they have thrown out the box but I have no proof other than I am missing this very important family information. Jenson then Ops Mgr was terrible and dismissive about my concern. When I finally spoke with Paul the General Mgr he seemed more engaged to solve the situation but upon doing his followup had no solution to the situation. Do not use this company they can't be trusted!

  13. All My Sons Moving Company.

I thought this move was going to be easy. I packed everything myself all they had to do was move my belongings from my house to a storage unit bout 1.4 mlles away. I was told $150 an hour and that was it. At end of move I was given the price which exceeded way more than the $150 an hour. Come to find out I was charged $205 for packing materials. I packed my own things, didn't ask them to do nothing extra especially without telling me. They put what I packed in there bigger boxes, like why are you packing what's already packed? Then once they was "so called" done I was told everything isn't going to fit in my storage and they filled it up all the way to the top. They left my things that didn't fit sitting there, said goodbye and left. When I went in m storage they filled the front all the way to the top to make it look like it was full and once we moved that stuff there was clearly room left. When I moved all my things out of storage there was a tv missing the book and remote was there but no tv. And of course they was so in a rush to leave the truck was already closed up so I didn't get a chance to make sure everything was out. The guy in charged stayed on the phone with personal calls, the new guy was just lazy and the third fellow was asking for things I was throwing away. Guy in charge also offered me side job when I was ready to unpack and move to new home. I filed claim and of course they offered me $30 for the loss of the tv. 60 cents per pound. This is unacceptable! I didn't even want money they could have just got me a new television. I want o pursue this further but don't know how or if its really worth it. It wouldn't have bothered me so much if it was one of the tvs that I bought but this was a Christmas gift from my son.

  14. Taylor Seal.

I called to get a quote and I was told that I would be charged $109/hr and that would include mileage and any sort of materials such as mattress pads and such. I wasn't sure on if I wanted to use them, so I told them I would discuss it with my roommate. From that day, up until I booked them, I was berated with text messages and calls three times a day. I even told them once that I was insanely sick and that they would get a call from my roommate. They continued to call and text me thrice daily.

One the day of my move, the movers were late. They called me fifteen minutes after their two hour window had passed, letting me know that they were just now on their way. Once they arrived, we had nothing but trouble. One of the guys was always missing and the other guy spent the entire time complaining about anything and everything under the sun.

It took them two hours to get only HALF of my two bedroom apartment in the truck. The one guy complained the entire time about us moving to a second floor apartment and told us he'd be taking a break to get a drink.

Once we got to our new place, which was ten minutes from our original one, my roommate and I had to wait half an hour for the movers to actually show up. The movers were given specific instructions. All of my boxes had my name on them, and the rooms were also labeled and all they had to do was match up the room and put the boxes there. This was apparently too difficult of a challenge for them.

They told us that they would need another guy to help move my roommate's bed up the stairs and into the apartment. I will admit that my roommate's bed is large and difficult to move. The other two movers showed up and they were the ONLY two who moved the bed into the apartment.

When they finished, the man who kept disappearing gave me my quote and it was $300 more than what I was quoted on the phone. There were many hidden fees that we were not made aware of. We were charged for their fuel, an extra half an hour that they didn't work, as well as packaging materials (which once again, I was told was included in the original quote).

Originally, I told my roommate that we would unpack a bit before I called and had a conversation with management to get a partial refund. Both of us we went to start unpacking before we realized that none of the boxes were in the appropriate rooms. The movers had just given up and had left everything in the living room. They had even ignored the boxes that were marked fragile, and stacked various boxes on top of them.

I instantly called to complain and was put on hold twice before I was given to the director of this team. I explained my situation and he called me a liar. He said 'that this highly unlikely, since he had sent out his best two guys and they were highly experienced.' I even explained that the crate that had my video game consoles had the top shattered and many of my games were bent. My demand for a refund was ignored and instead, I was told I would receive a packet within 24-48 hours to receive some sort of reimbursement. This was two weeks ago and I still have not received said packet.

When I returned to my old apartment, we found out that they had damaged the walls as well as hidden about twenty small boxes in my roommates bathroom so they didn't have to move them. They caused thousands of damage to our belongs and we still have not received compensation and their movers and management are entirely unprofessional.

  15. The worst move of my entire life!

All My Sons moving and storage was contracted to move a two bedroom apartment fifteen miles down the road. The estimated completion time was 2:45 pm. I was being charged by the hour for this move. During the move, the employees handled my belongings carelessly and damaged several items. At approximately 4:30 pm I inquired about the delay, at which point two of the three employees became verbally abusive to me. Additionally, they began throwing my belongings off off the truck into the yard and yelling profanities at me. I believe this company was attempting to cheat me by using stalling techniques and displaying blantant negligence in the handling of my belongings. Adding insult to injury, I am a disabled individual and had great difficulty in moving my items left in the yard I am horrified and in disbelief of how I was treated by All My Sons Moving and Storage.
