A few weeks ago American Standard Moving helped my family move from a two story townhouse in to a one story house across the country. These two guys were awesome! Not only were they fast and efficient, but extremely careful with our furniture and the walls, even in the tight stairway, and they helped us finish packing. Also, we have cats and they were very careful, making sure not to let them out of the house. On top of all of that, they were super friendly. Make sure you tip these guys very well. They make moving a better experience!
From our experience, American Standards movers seems to be one of the best moving companies at the best price. I would give them a score of 12 out of 10, would recommend them to anyone looking to move, and will definitely use them if our family ever needs to move again.
Horrible Company.
If I could give negative stars to this company I would. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. I set up my move date for 6/11/19, 3 months in advance. When I originally paid the deposit of $849 the woman on the phone had asked for a two day pick up window, I specifically told her the 10th or the 11th. When the 10th came, the company called to confirm items that were being picked up; with integrity, I told the man about a TV and two small cube organizers I forgot to add to the original bid I got. When I told them this, they made me pay an extra $200 on my deposit and an extra $100 on pick up a drop off. Which is wildly ridiculous for 3 things that weigh or take up little room. That same day the company called me back and told me they couldn't make it till the 12th whilst I was leaving to my new home accross the country on the 11th and my lease was up on the 11. I extended my lease another day for their issue and left the state asking my sister to take care of the movers picking up my things as I had meetings to deal with in my new residency. While 1/4th way across the country the following day, I received call telling me that they wouldn't be able to make it till the following day. Again, I extended my lease. When I asked for a credit for my troubles they gave me a whopping $25 which I still have yet to see. They had originally said offered $100 credit none of this by the way has been on record and every time I bring it up to different people they say they don't know anything about it. The following day while half way across the country I received ANOTHER call.. Yep! You guessed it! they couldn't make it till the following day. When my apartment manager told me they couldn't extend my lease and that if my stuff wasn't out, they would throw it out I told the company someone had to get there that day otherwise I'd be suing their company when I lose my irreplaceable pictures of my son and many other things of value.. They suddenly had a change of heart. The following day (today) the call me to tell me that when they drop off my items I will have to pay them almost double what was last quoted to me for the drop off fee!! $1339.00 OUTRAGEOUS! $1049 deposit, $710.00 pick up fee and now you want me to pay you $1339.00 to drop it off. I live in a one bedroom apartment and have very few items. Everything I was moving was in was small dining room area! When I asked about my credit, no one knows anything about it. When I ask why it cost so much, I'm told its based on cubic feet, so why is your contract and the person who sold me the contract only talking about charging for weight?! When I asked how much my stuff weighed, they couldn't tell me. You may have a lawsuit on your hands! Your company is horrid! Super misleading and will jack the prices up on you in anyway they can. Guess we will see if I ever see my things again. It's obvious this company is not responsible or reliable.

American Standard Moving were very good. I was very pleased that they changed the move date without charging extra. The Carrier they chose for my move did a phenomenal job. The only thing was that maybe they could be a bit gentler. They didn't damage anything. They didn't damage the furniture, but I did have to clean my mattress. Otherwise, it was great!! On the phone, they were excellent and provided a great estimate. They didn't yell at me on the phone when I asked to change the move date. They didn't charge me for that. Their prices are very competitive. They are one of the cheaper ones out there so for that reason I would recommend them!

Very grateful to the company for the excellent work on the transport of furniture. Special thanks to the movers that showed up and kept up with their professional work. They were highly correct, polite. Everything was neatly disassembled, packaged and assembled on site. The driver who worked with team also did not refuse to help when it was required. It is also important that the overpayment for the work done was not required, all in accordance with the preliminary agreement. Moving can be very stressful especially going cross county but American Standard Moving did an outstanding job selecting my Movers!! I will now recommend all my friends to your specialists. Thank you so much!

American Standard Moving is absolutely awesome! Not only did they squeeze us in after we were left high and dry by another company, every single item that was shipped was in perfect condition!! Their customer service dept was always available and kept in touch during the entire process. Any questions we had were always answered promptly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Glad I gave them the opportunity!

5 Stars for American Standard And their movers. From the beginning the office was professional and honest about pricing and schedule..No hidden costs and I was very happy with the service. They were upfront and very helpful. Day of the move, 4 men showed up on time. 7 Hours of hard work on a very hot day in June! They took appropriate breaks - NO BS with these guys! Tim, Eric, Travis and David - you guys are the best. They worked hard and through in a sense of humor too! I highly suggest this company and these guys for your next move. I am still impressed at how quickly they managed to unload and reassemble my belongings. They make long distance moving seem easy!

Moving across the country is one of the most annoying things anyone can do. But American Standard Moving Company helped me with my moving day definitely on the highest level! I will start by saying I did a ton of research before selecting my movers. American Standard had the most transparent pricing and best customer service compared to other movers . They provided the certificates of insurance within 24 hours after I had put down the deposit which made everything stress free. The day of the move I received a call from Scott informing me that they were on their way. They arrived about 30 min early but did not show up in my apartment until the agreed time. They were also super friendly and made us so excited and happy about the big day! They worked with us for 11 hours and we just enjoyed our time and didn't understand how the day passed by in a glance! Really nice guys and an overall really great experience - perfect for a day that is inevitably going to be stressful. I cannot recommend them highly enough! Hire them and save yourself a WHOLE lot of headaches.

The crew from American Standard are as good as it gets - from the minute I called to get a quote. I knew that these were the fellas I wanted to help us move to our new home.
They arrived on time, carried all our stuff with a cheery demeanour, didn't flinch when we found a few extra ( and large) things to add, and managed to fit it all into the truck like expert. Yes, the rate changed a little due to the increase in volume but they worked on the price and I was amazed at how they packed the truck.. Cant rate them high enough - you can't go wrong with them. I would highly recommend using American Standard Moving for you move. They do provide storage as well which is a big plus!!

I had a terrific experience with American Standard Movers. They were very professional from the booking to the end of the job. The guys showed up on time, explained the process and took great care disassembling, moving and assembling our furniture. They were very patient and arranged the furniture to our satisfaction in our new home. I highly recommend American Standard for a professional, stress free and reasonably priced move.

I had the best experience possible with American Standard! The movers they chose for my move were amazing. I moved from MA to FL after 30 years of living in the same home. The guys who packed my belongings treated my things with great respect while working incredibly efficiently. They arrived 9am sharp and worked until 6pm to load my entire house.
IT was really scaring seeing everything I own, including my car, being driven away by people I didn't know but I quickly came to trust and respect their team especially Ronnie, who was the team lead. They arrived a day earlier than expected (and ensured I was ok with that) and every little thing arrived in perfect condition.
They spend a lot less time unloading and reassembling which was great with my schedule since I had to start unpacking so I can prepare for my new job. Their rates were more than fair and their work ethic and delivery of my belongings to my new home was outstanding. I highly recommend American Standard due to the great experience I had with them.

My moving experience was great with American Standard Moving.. Notifications and follow up were great, recieved text messages letting me know on arrival time. When my movers arrived Mike and Ricky, they were on time, friendly, worked quickly while moving my belongings carefully and safely.. up three flights of stairs, sorry guys. I really appreciate the service and care you provided, you both made my move so much easier and stress free. I definitely would use and recommend this company because of the service American Standard Moving provided. Thank yall so much!
Our moving experience.
DO NOT TORTURE YOURSELF WITH THIS COMPANY!! They were a nightmare. We received our quote when moving to Fla from Pittsburgh and we were desperate for help and we signed a contract. American Standard asked how many boxes and what sizes we would be moving and gave us a quote based on that along with the furniture that we had. We were excited that it will cost about $4000 and my husband wouldn’t have to work so hard loading a truck and driving it to Florida. I did read some reviews but I don’t believe everything that I read but to be honest I was a little afraid and we asked several questions to the movers who finally showed up two days later than what they should have. They showed up with a budget truck that looked way too small for our things we had to rent a 28 foot truck and we still had to come back for another load when it was all said and done. My husband asked the mover who showed up with another contract what our end price would be when we wanted our things out of storage and he said it all depended on what the weight scale said when they went through the weighing stations. After two hours of arguing with this man and his crew and him standing there pacing wanting us to sign another contract because he said “it will probably be around seven to $9000 that’s just my professional opinion” My husband sent them out of the house and they did not want to leave we almost had to call the police. And believe me you do not get your things Until you pay the movers. We fought to get back our deposit of almost $1000 but their contracts are so ironclad even though it was false perception we are out $1000 to the scam artist. That all sounds great when you’re on the phone with him believe me and they are quick to get you to sign the contract but it’s a whole different ballgame when those movers show up. When the mover could not guarantee a price of what we were originally given he started haggling down his price..The bottom line was we did not want them taking our things without having a final price and when it almost tripled according to the movers professional opinion we are not about to let our things go unless we had it in writing because we knew we may never see your things again. I believe we all work way too hard for our money to put up with this type of business so this is my warning and I am not one to write bad reviews I’ve been in the hospitality business and when someone writes a bad review I take it to heart so I do not believe everything I read but this was a true nightmare!!
Worst Company don't use them!!
I called them and got a quote 1577 and told them everything that I needed moved. On moving day the company came out and said I am sorry you will be way over weight now it will be 2500. I argued with them and they said sorry this is it. It will not be more.They loaded my stuff up in a little moving truck. Then when it was time to deliver the company called me and said I am sorry but we have to unload from a big truck and put in it in a little truck since we cannot bring a big truck down your street. I told them they could I have seen many moving companies go down my street. They said no and if I wanted my stuff I would have to pay 350 more. Also this company only accepts cash. What a ripoff company. Don't Use them!! They will screw you.
Total Fraud.
TOTAL FRAUD. COULD GIVE IT MINUS RATING IF I COULD. DO NOT EVER GO WITH AMERICAN STANDARD MOVING AND STORAGE, FLORIDA COMPANY. OT IS NOT A REAL MOVING COMPANY BUT CONTRACTOR. THEY DOUBLE THE PRICE AT THE DELIVERY TIME, AFTER YOU SIGN THE PAPERWORK.
THEY TOLD ME CONFIRM BINDING ESTIMATE PRICE BUT ONCE YOU SIGN THE CONTRACT THEY GAVE IT TO DIFFERENT MOVING COMPANY AND NOT GOING TO ANSWER ANY OF YOUR CONCERNS ANYMORE. THEY DOUBLE MY PRICE AND IT TOOK FOREVER TO REACH MY STUFF TO ME.

13 weeks to move.
13 weeks it took to move 2 bedrooms worth of stuff from Texas to Pennsylvania. American Standard moving and storage are not actual movers, but are brokers. They subcontracted my move out to Executive moving and storage out of Las Vegas. I'm not going to detail how awful this experience was, but use your imagination of what I went through for 13 weeks without my belongings. The one good thing was they did refund me my initial payment. But I wouldn't recommend this experience to anyone.
