Let me start out with saying that I read all the nasty reviews on Moving Brokers. I can tell you that this was NOT my experience with Budget Van Lines.
IT WAS THE BEST MOVING EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD!
I have moved from TX to NM, NM to MN, MN to NY, NY to NY and NY to NM using moving companies. I have alot of experience with moving companies!
Everything that Budget said would happen did and on time. I always had a contact during the process and even the drivers cell phone. The quote I received is what I paid and most important everything was delivered on time and in one piece. They took care to wrap everything and also took care not to damage the house as everything was being put on the truck. They were very friendly and professional. I would use them again and again.

Smooth experience.
I had a very smooth move recently with Budget Van Lines. They are a mover broker so your actual experience will depend on who they partner with. My movers were on-time, professional, and seemed to take very good care of my stuff.
The budget van lines folks provided a very close estimate to the final cost of the move and were available for any questions I had. The price was very fair and much better than plenty of other companies I had called.
One minor point of clarification: You will receive guidance on when your stuff will arrive, but the final date you will not know until the day before. This is a bit painful for long distance moves and you should expect to sleep on an air mattress for a few days without knowing when your bed will arrive.
Exactly as described.
This move went without a hitch. I contacted budget who set me up for around a thousand dollars less than other companies. The movers arrived in the given window, were courteous and moved my things quickly. All my items ended up where they were meant, undamaged, dry, and in perfect condition. I would absolutely recommend.
Moving.
We moved some boxes and a couch from Michigan to California. We had a few issues with understanding the quote when our stuff was picked up and had some issues with our carpet getting dirty from the movers. Budget customer service was quick to respond and offered to have our carpets cleaned. Very impressed with the quality of customer service from the back office at Budget. We had some confusion at delivery in regards to a long haul fee. I reluctantly made the payment, but let customer service know I was not pleased. They again, rectified the situation and I was very impressed with the manner in which the handled it. Thanks so much for taking care of this. .
Excellent easy professional move.
I googled economical move and found Budget Van Lines. From my first phone call I was impressed and the complete experience was economical and professional. I was already in Texas when I requested the move in Battle Creek. From the initial inventory conversation with Terry to the final delivery I was very pleased. It was -12 the day the movers arrived , but through the frozen outdoor furniture to bitter cold the movers were very competent and wrapped the furniture better than a larger mover I had previously used. We had some fragile pieces and all arrived in perfect condition. As my husband and I drove to Austin we were not concerned about all of our possessions because of the professionalism of the crew especially the driver. The off loading crew couldn't have been better. They were patient and worked very hard . I was also very impressed by politeness. Finally, the cost.. I have moved from state to state before and I knew what to expect pricewise so I I was pleased that the quote was lower and the payment schedule was explained clearly and completely. There were no changes or unexpected expenses which I appreciated.. All in all I would recommend Budget Mover .. They were 5 stars!!
My move on February 12, 2014.
To: Whom It May ConcernBudget VanLines My name is Victoria Smith and I am writing a review concerning my packing and move from Illinois to Missouri on February 12-16, 2014.During a conversation with a man who was asked to come and pack my house in Illinois, I became very concerned about my items as he proceeded to inform me that they would pack them in the truck, be driven to a warehouse, unloaded, remain there for a few days until a larger truck would reload them and then be driven to the final destination in Missouri.I was unaware of this procedure and didn't want my furniture to be handled in this fashion.So I called your head office( thinking that I would have to cancel and find another company) and spoke with Mr Mark Baker who assured me that he would look into it and get right back with me,,,and he did.He was so helpful and reassuring over the phone and it really did settle a lot of stress I was experiencing.Also, he has been consistant in his contact with me throughout the move, making sure that things were going well, and offering help if I had any more questions or issues.Mr Baker has done a great job in assisting me, and truly was the sole reason I did not seek to cancel my contract.He delivered as he said he would and I wanted your company to know. Long distance move.
We were very happy to find Budget Van Lines when looking for a way to move some furniture from CT to FL. Budget connected us with Precision Movers. They showed up on time and just as we were promised - they wrapped everything in blankets and protected all our belongings. Our furniture arrived when they said and everything was re-assembled per their quote. There was NO damage to any of the furniture or boxes. They were very professional and kept in contact. The total cost was about $70 higher than quoted as we had glass shelves in our china cabinet and we asked for additional protection. We would highly recomment using Budget Van Lines for your moving needs.
Customer Service & Follow-up With Budget.
I spoke several times to Damon to set up my move then with Ryan from the time it was scheduled until after my items arrived. Ryan was very helpful and courteous. I enjoyed working with him and he was very prompt in providing all the information I needed, including the information in order to file a damage claim!
The only disappointment we felt was the change in the cost of the original quote. It increased over $1,100. This was due in part to an unexplained bulky item charge placed by the carrier and not by Budget as well as the weight of my shipment.
As I have completed this form and noted the request to spell check my entry by using the ABC button below, I might suggest that your website designer do the same as button is spelled with 2 t's.

Excellent Service.
I had a wonderful experience with Budget Van Lines Customer service as well as delivery and pickup guys were very professional and took great care of my furniture. I had constant contact from the company to make sure everything was going as planned.
Booking and follow up.
I was disappointed with G&G shipping because they severely damaged 3 of the 19 pieces of furniture shipped -but budget remained involved till the issues related to this we're settled. I would recommend getting budget to provide more than one shipping company to choose from.
Home to home move.
The customer service for this company is outstanding. From the beginning to the end of this moving process it was seamless. I was phoned several days before the move, the day of the move and again once it was delivered. This was a difficult move for me in that my Mom had passed away and I had several items to pack and send to my home - but Budget Van Lines made this process very easy. I recommend to anyone that needs to make any kind of move. .

We have worked with John (Sales professional) and he was very helpful throughout the process. He took care well and communicated very promptly. Smooth Move!
Moving a lifetime worth of stuff is no easy task, the stress and anxiety alone can be daunting. Dan, Tamara, Ron & John were awesome in coordinating my move from Nebraska to Arizona. All items arrived safely and in good condition.
I was very pleased with the customer service and thought the representatives did a great job in keeping me informed as to where my furnishings were and updating me on delivery schedules, etc.
I wish to thank each member of Budget Van Lines customer service team for simplifying the process, maintaining good communication, providing awesome customer service all while making this move an economically feasible venture that didn’t kill my bank account. I would without a doubt recommend Budget to anyone needing to move. .
Overall Experience.
The customer service represenmtative who walked me through several questions and issues was very helpful and speaks very well of the caliber of professionalism that is to be found at Budget! Moving is no easy task and there are many issues that need attention. Budget was very helpful in working with us and in answering the questions that we had, which were many.
Reasonable Moving Experience.
The movers in MN worked very hard and were on time. They made a good effort considering our belongings were heavier than expected. They were very fair about it. The load we had moved went to storage in IL and due to inclement weather, delivery was delayed - which is understandable. Delivery to FL was on time. There was some damage (scratches to wood, a few things ruined) however we are not filing a claim. A good effort was made to ensure we had everything we had moved. The delivery mover was honest and hard working. Overall, it was reasonable moving experience.
