They will destroy all your belongings.
We signed up for a "full service move," (in-state move) in which they will help with the packing and loading of the truck. They promised us a 3-person team.
What we got was a father and his teenage son that didn't show up until NOON when they should have been there much earlier that morning. The 3rd person (the teenage sons friend) didn't show up until 5 PM.
They were at our house until 11 PM packing... and they didn't even get it all. And by "packing," I mean THROWING OUR BELONGINGS in the truck, breaking or scratching/ruining everything.
Luckily, we had a different crew that drove our belongings to our new city and unpacked us. However, there was absolutely NO COMMUNICATION whatsoever about where they were / what time they'd be arriving at our new home.
The men were friendly enough, and even fixed (to the best of their ability) our master bed that was broken due to the packers.
But when I tell you it looked like the truck had crashed on the way over (based on how our belongings were strewn about inside), that's exactly what it looked like.
The loaders were even shocked to see how our things were packed. "This is bad..." one said.
Once they finished unloading, one of the packers called the General Manager (Bo Byers) to confirm payment, etc. Only Bo didn't realize he was on speaker phone and we could hear every word he was saying and he was MOCKING US for wanting a discount based on our experience.
"Is that Bo on the phone? With that attitude," I said.
It was then Bo realized he put his foot in his mouth. His excuse was "I've had a bad day and have been dealing with angry customers all day." Well, yeah, if this is how you do business, then I have no doubt you've had a bad day, and I also don't care.
The ongoing chaos continues with dealing with the Claims Department (Tanezja Givens). Absolutely zero communication or sympathy and empathy.
Do not consider them for your move. It's been an absolute nightmare.
Worst I've Ever Been Screwed
Oh, where to begin with Fox moving? Note that my displeasure is with the Fox company, not the moving crew themselves (surprise, they’re contractors not actual Fox employees). The crew was professional, efficient and timely. The abridged version of this story is that the day of our move, Fox Moving left myself, my wife, 18-month-old, 3-year-old and my wife’s parents stranded without a place to stay at 1PM right after they loaded all of our belongings in a box truck. We were told we could speak with the owner the following Monday to work out a discount of some sort. When Monday came, the owner would not speak with me. Instead, he had someone else at the company inform me that there would be no discount other than them covering our hotel rooms. I feel compelled to let everyone hear this story so that it doesn’t happen to anyone else. I can’t remember the last time I wrote an online review but this warranted one in my book. What Just Happened?
I can’t believe this company is still in business. It took them FOUR HOURS to move a couch, dresser, and bed 5 minutes down the road. They left half my apartment in boxes promising “we will take care of it tomorrow”.. I ended up having to hire another moving company bctheynevershowedup.

Heath and his Fox crew have been my go to movers for my last 3 moves over the past 4 years. Always super helpful and efficient. I have high expectations and was worried about some family antiques but his crew took extra care and got everything moved without a scratch. My most recent move was to a 3 floor walk up in July. The guys didn’t complain once. I always recommend Fox to friends when they’re moving.

Best crew Ive had. Couldn't fit a tissue box in the truck after they packed everything up. I was very impressed. absolutely no damage. I will definitely use again.
Terrible.
The workers are always high on something, & Heath over works his guys. sends them on 2-3 moves a day. & he doesn't pay his guys on time, or takes money out of their checks for HIS mistakes. Terrible boss, with terrible habits. More worried about smoking weed & riding motorcycles than working on undermanned jobs he has scheduled or paying his workers accordingly.
New Management/ New Staff.
I would like to start by saying that things that have happened in the past will never happen again. With new management and new staff minus the guys who were performing at top level, Fox Moving in Chattanooga IS here to professionally move you to your next location. We can only apologize for the things that have happened in the past and move forward. Call and ask for Daniel or Bo and we will be more than happy to take great care of you and book you for your next move!
Do Not Ever Use This Company to Move.
We moved from Chattanooga TN to Texas and when our stuff arrived everything was piled on top of each other as you can see from our pictures. All of our furniture was damaged and all our fragile boxes are crushed as you can see in the pictures. Things we will never be able to replace from our parents that have already passed away, just gone. We had Thousands of dollars ruined and all they offered from their insurance was $250.00. For a company to even be in business like this in unreal. DO NOT use them to move..save all your valuables and go somewhere else. They told us that our furniture would be shrink-wrapped as you can see it is not. When they opened the back of that truck, my husband and I were sick. They charged us $5000.00 for the move and we have way more damage than that. My husband is a morning show radio host and I am an author and keynote speaker and travel and speak all over the world. We have things that were in this truck from other countries that will never be replaceable. My husband's music collection he has had for the last 28 years of being in the field of radio, just crushed. All of our furniture was scratched. Our best advice to you is to DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Worst Move - EVER.
The appointment was set for 3p-5p on 3/1/19. No calls. No apologies.., only broken promises! We were promised 3 movers, but only 2 movers arrived at 7p. Although the 2 movers, DeVonte & D'Way, were able to move us to our new location by 9p.., this was on of the most frustrating experience - EVER! We kept our promise to pay the flat rate of $437.00, but when this matter was brought to management, their response was to offer a mere 10% refund. Absolutely disgusted.., and left feeling disrespected!

Move piano.
I wish to rave about professionalism and smoothness of the move that The Fox movers orchestrated today. The piano arrived in great condition. The men were speedy , reliable and courteous. I couldn’t have asked for better. I had estimated doing it myself and the price was very reasonable comparatively.
Awful service slow and charged 500.00 and broke stuff never even said.
Over priced and shady 500.00 to move a 2 bedroom apt 12 mins away broke some of my stuff never even told me.
Worst move ever.
The two men they sent were a joke. Couldn't lift 25 lbs without moaning. Took 6 hours to load what should have taken 2. Damaged a ton of furniture, ran over the mailbox, didn't want to even unload us when we got to our new house that was just 2 miles away because they were tired. I could go on and on. Called and spoke to manager and asked for a claim form. Took days to receive. Will post an update to let people know if they pay for items they damage without a fight.
Awesome Movers! We have used Fox for 3 moves!
We have used Fox for 3 moves, they are wonderful. They were heavily booked for Monday May 1st, but worked us in for Sunday the 30th at 9am. The movers were on time and friendly. They wrapped all our furniture up nicely and even held up some of the pieces, so I could stick felt on the bottom at the new home.. they are worth every penny! These are great guys, they work hard, and get the job done right!
