The best.
By far this was the best move that we have been through in the long career that I have had with a large tech company. They have always handled everything for my family and I but this time I had to do it all on my own. I am glad that I was able to find this amazing company. They handle the whole move for you and the movers didn't miss a beat. So happy and I will always recommend them to all I know that are moving.

We wanted to work exclusively with the actual moving company. We will never again in their life use a third-party broker like we have in the past. Gateway moving and storage was clear cut and easy to work with. The price we got was fantastic and they also gave us a free month of storage. They told us to call when we were ready for our shipment and they would have it out within a week and that they did. There was no funny business No gray areas just an honest company looking to do the job right. We were so relaxed the whole time working with them. Everybody from the sales rep to customer service even all the way up to the owner introduced himself to us and played a big part in our relocation. Thank you everybody for a super job.

Overall, this company gets 5 stars in my book. From the beginning my representative, whos name will remain annonomous, was wonderful, friendly and kind. There were specific questions I was asking since I had been burned before in moving. The rep gave honest answers, slightly fluffed, but when prompted on specifics told me the honest truth as much as the general customer doesn't want to hear. For example, when asked how long it will take to get my items from Virginia to Florida, the representative said 'should be there in about 3-5 days could be less than that' but when I asked how long can it take up TO; the response was more formal but honest 'again your estimated time for delivery is 3-5 business days from your first available date of delivery, but legally can take up to 21 business days'. I appreciated the honesty and chose to move forward with Gateway after a reasonable price quote was provided.
Now on move day, I had a supervisor and 2 helpers. The crew was wonderful and have no complaints there. My estimate did slightly increase by $300 but I had not had time to pack up some fragile items so I was anticipating the cost.
Fast forward 1 week exactly (5 business days) I received delivery in my home in Florida. The guys there were just as professional as the pickup crew so 5 stars to them. Despite one crushed box (which may have been weak from a prior move) no damages.

All Business.
Gateway was fast to get to business. They didn’t want to know who we spoke to or how much our other quotes were. They wanted to know the details about the items, the pickup location and the delivery. They also were able to have our car shipped the same day. The lovely people that work within the company would call to update us as the moving men got close and called a few times prior to see if we wanted to add or subtract any pieces of furniture. As far as pricing they were well within our budget and never once tried to go back on thier word or change the price. Great job.

We came into the process of looking for a moving company with an open mind. We gave each company a fair shot to explain the services that were included in thier services. We found working with Gateway amp jnv and Storage was the best in all we spoke to. The employees there are all very friendly Abdul left nothing to question. It was very important to us to make sure the house was left clean and nothing would be damaged in the transition. The were extra cautious and we are very pleased working with them. They are flexible and understanding with changhng schedule. Nicely Done!!

Well funny story about Gateway. They were a company that the first call that came in warned us about. Shortly after we found out Gateway had all the credentials and reputation that they did not process. Our phone calls we exchanged at Gateway were very detailed oriented. They wanted to know dimension of couches as well as glass items. They told us everything we had to have ready before they arrived. Can’t say enough about thier communication. They left nothing out and asked questions we would have never thought of. It’s the little things that count and the little things that led us to choosing them over everybody else. Great work guys.
Great and easy.
Easy easy easy! Gateway Moving and Storage made moving as simple as it ever could be. I entered my information on the internet and Gateway called right away. We set up the dates and I made my reservation quick to secure our dates and secure our rates. Other movers did call but they couldn’t off the same discounts we got with them. The movers were on time and the staff always called with updates. Moving with them was great we would be happy use them again. We got to focus on more important things while they took care of the relocation.

We needed reliable movers that offered storage. Gateway Moving was able to provide that and it was climate controlled to top it off. We got a great package out together for us by our representative. The first 40 days of the storage we got for free and scheduled our drop off time within the hour. They are a company that works well with the customer. I know they went above and beyond for our reservation and we appreciated that. Sometimes you just have to follow your gut on a big choice and everything about them told us they were the right one. Extra special thank you to the dispatch department for scheduling our days and times we needed. 5 star service.
SCAMMERS Do not Use them!!
I have never written a bad review for anyone ever! That is changed. One star is too much to offer this company, but had to be selected in order to submit this review. Do NOT use this company. They participate in deceptive and fraudulent practices equal to extortion and theft. We were given a price for a move. They demanded a signature of a document at arrival to commence work which changed terms and amounts for the move by double. Upon delivery they refused to allow us to see the load unless they were paid in cash for the balance prior to viewing. We were threatened, then the drivers left with our goods. Consider yourselves warned. Never use this company!

Thank you Gateway Moving and Storage. Many of the moving companies that called me did not even offer storage. Gateway was the best priced and was able to hold and store our goods until we were ready to take the final delivery. Our move was a little complicated I requested an additional pickup and an additional delivery they accommodated everything. They were so friendly and always took my calls. They have a way of relaxing the customer. I was off the wall stressed going crazy but they helped me get organiZed and finish the right way. A real working class company. No pressure with deposits and worked with us financially. We would be happy to use them again.

Well Gateway came to pick me and my household of furniture up the same day I called. My previous mover who’s name I will leave out decided the last minute they did not have a truck ready for me. I quickly went online in a panic and I called Gateway. I sent them over my list, we fine tuned some details and got the job booked. I see why Gateway is recommend as often as they are. They are true professionals and do what they say. Life saving move. Happy new year.
The right way!
Gateway Moving and Storage doing things the way they should be done. It’s was the most exhausting process talking to other movers until I got on the phone with them. The sales guy who helped me took care if everything. He asked the questions, I told him how I wanted it packaged and it was done. I like simplicity and quality business and that’s what they are. The other moving companies tried to charge me for everything but not them. They made sure it was done perfect and that’s what they did. I’ve used big name companies before and paid a lot more then I had to. I was more impressed with Gateway then I was with Bekins. Absolutely the right choice.

First time star.
First time mover. I thought I would speak to a few companies but at least 8 called me. I interviewed all of them the same. I only wanted to work with a company that owned the trucks they move in. I was able to rule out 5 quickly. Gateway Moving and Storage was the best of the rest. They offered the best rates as well as climate control storage. Everybody we spoke to in the company was professional. We learned so much from them. They emailed us sites to verify themself as well as the competition. Never pressured us for a deposit and gave us time to make a descion. We received our furniture fast and it arrived in mint condition. Happy to have worked with them. 5 stars.
Great Referral.
A friend of ours used to Gateway moving and storage last year so we figured we would give them a call. They remembered our friends move and we’re happy to help us. They are all very experienced and have much knowledge about the moving industry. They took time to educate us and we’re very patient. I found that the easiest way to go about it was to go room by room and call off the items. They were very thorough in discussing the packing so we would avoid being charged on the move date. Every department was very friendly and was always there to take our cars. We wanted to make sure that we would not be charged extra money and work with the actual moving company. They made the move stress free And took very good care of all of our items. We weren’t looking for much we just wanted it done the right way and it was. We got great service and exactly what we paid for and I’d be happy to use them again.
