1. Very Pleased.

   Much appreciated for your work Gateway Moving and Storage. We had 3 different companies come to our home to give us "on site estimates” but weren’t satisfied with the final numbers. We finally reached out to you after coming across some of your previous clients. They were very satisfied with the work that was done and it was nice that you have a storage facility we were also able to utilize. The total package with you was thousands of dollars cheaper then the 3 that came to our home but more importantly watching you work on pickup day showed us everything we wanted to know. Your company would call from time to time to ask if we had any questions or wanted to update our list. We got calls before any movement of our things and confirmed we would be available at times of delivery. We felt like we were very involved in the relocation as we should be. It was stresss free and nice to work with the actual moving company and not a third party. 5 out of 5.

2. Consistently great.

   I may be a little biased when it comes to moving companies because I’ve used gateway moving and storage four times now. Each and every time I use them I get the same exact high level of service. They treat me as if it was the first time I ever called. Even though I am very familiar with the process they go through with me step-by-step and make sure I don’t miss a thing. The pricing is always the best I’ve ever gotten as far as quotes are concerned. The customer service, dispatch, all the way up to upper management are always all on the same page and well aware of all the details of each of my moves. I’m always extremely satisfied with the work that they provide they are a standout company that does excellent business and will continue to do so. I trust them with all my belongings because I watch them treat them as if they are their own. I’ve never left one of these reviews before but I felt I need to because good hard work shouldn’t go unnoticed.

3. 5 stars mover.

   Gateway is by far a 5 star mover in all ways and all definitions of the meaning. I am so thrilled I chose to hire a mover instead of trying to do it myself. Thank you Gateway.

4. So si perfect.

   This entire move went absolutely stunningly perfect. I never dreamed that a moving company could make this work out so well but Gateway made it all happen and so worth it. Thank you Gateway.

5. Move from Texas to Arizona.

   I searched high and low for a moving company to get my belongings from a home in Houston, TX to a new house in Phoenix, AZ. I was convinced to use Gateway because they are a carrier instead of a broker. I was so excited to only be working with one party start to finish.
   
   The morning of my scheduled move, I was at my home in houston waiting for the truck to arrive. I had already moved to Arizona and had flown down for a long weekend to get this all done. However, by 10am the truck still wasn’t at my house. I called the customer service line repeatedly and kept getting a voicemail box. I finally chose the “if you’re a dispatcher, press 2” and got someone on the line. After being told several times that it needed to be escalated and that someone would call me back, I got the head dispatcher, Jeremy, on the phone. He notified me that there were not any trucks in the area and that they could not complete the move that day. 1. How was I learning the DAY OF that my move wasn’t actually happening? 2. I had flown in to get this done - and had been assured that my belongings would be picked up on Monday - and I couldn’t just reschedule for the next day when it was convenient for Gateway. If you can’t get something as simple as SHOWING UP on the moving day correct, we have big problems.
   
   But it gets worse. I didn’t have any option but to choose another moving day - there was no way I could call another moving company and have them show up within the hour. Luckily, my parents live in Houston still, so we scheduled the move for the following Sunday - and my parents would have to do it without me. Not exactly something I’m proud of, but I couldn’t afford to fly back to Texas again the following weekend.
   
   While talking to me about changing the moving day, Jeremy was very apologetic (expectedly so) and told me he would offer me a discount on the move given the mixup and problems on their end with logistics. He said someone would call me to discuss this discount on Thursday or Friday. No one ever called, so I decided to reach out. As of this morning, I’ve called and left Jeremy several voicemails to please call me back to discuss. I talked to other employees at Gateway who kept saying that Jeremy was the only person who could authorize this. He has literally avoided my calls so as to not discuss the discount he had promised me.
   
   I contacted the dispatcher who is delivering my belongings this morning to say that I had a deal with Gateway and that I would be deducting $300 from the bill because of a discount promised by the head dispatcher. What’s worse is she said that her company is called ITX LLC and that they are just a carrier. Wait, I thought Gateway was the carrier start to finish and wasn’t going to broker out my move?? Wasn’t that the sales pitch they gave me? So now I don’t want to pay them less than what they’re asking because I don’t want them to be punished for Gateway’s mistake.
   
   Moral of the story is that Gateway has 1. Not shown up for my move and 2. Not upheld the discount they promised me for rescheduling my move - by blatantly ignoring my calls and voicemails. If you can’t get these simple things right, you’re not a good moving company. I will be following up with the Better Business Bureau and pursuing damages in small claims court.

6. Real transparent.

   We just finished a move about 18 months ago and I can’t begin to tell you what that certain company put us through. Gateway Moving and Storage was the polar opposite. In the past wit the previous company after we paid our deposit we couldn’t reach anyone, with Gateway I had Conversations with my sales rep after 11 PM at night which just shows you the level of dedication they offer. Being scammed out of money where is our biggest concern and that did not happen either. Moving for us cost thousands of dollars and we are not rich by any means so every dollar saved counts. They prioritized our move. There were countless follow up calls from the sales representative all the way up to the owner of the company because he knew what we had been through in the past and wanted to in sure it wouldn’t happen again. I can’t say I’ve ever heard of a company that was willing to do that aside from them. Now that our furniture is all here and lay it out and we can sit back at our new home without a worry in the world and we give them the complete credit for making it happen.

7. Made simple.

   My move was a little more complicated than your typical state to state mode. I had a Home end of business and I also needed furniture dropped off in a separate state along the way. Gateway moving and storage was able to do everything we asked for and more. We didn’t have time to take apart any beds or any of the furniture or even pack a single box we needed a real full-service mover. They showed up the day before to begin packing and started to wrap some of our furniture. The following day they came and loaded the truck and began their mission. Somewhere about 350 miles and I needed part of the load dropped off and the rest would go to storage. It stands storage for three months before home was finished and all it took was a phone call to tell them we are ready to take our delivery. They are an excellent company and I cannot stress that enough. There’s really nothing they can do and they prove it with our move. Since then I’ve given out their name to over a dozen people and I’ll continue to do so. Very impressive work guys. Thank you all.

8. As planned.

   Working with Gateway Moving and Storage played out just like it was planned. There was many hours invested into preparation leading up to the move. We had to get together every single piece we were moving including the boxes that would be packed by us or them. They were very pleasant to work with and we are happy we did. They had the best offer out of all the movers that also replied to our request. They imcluded packing of televisions and mattress covers so we wouldn’t have to come out of pocket for them. They also were the only company that did not call us over 5 times a day and bombard us with emails they gave us our time to figure it out. To make a long story short they handled the move the way we expected. We were happy with the service and happy to leave our feedback here.

   We appreciate all the effort Gateway Moving and Storage put into our relocation. We didn’t have the time ourself or the resources to take on a venture like this. They literally did everything. They wrapped the furniture, took apart beds and packed up an entire house. They are organized and respectful. All the boxes were labeled or numbered so it was easy to remember where they went in the new house. They didn’t leave any holes in walls or dirt on the floors and left nothing in terms of garbage. This was the first time we ever used a mover and knew our things were in good hands. Highly recommended company. If you’re looking for a real moving company that will value your belongings and not show up and demand more money this is that company. Nice working with you.

    Gateway moving and storage deserve way way more than 5 stars. They handled our entire move from the beginning to the very end. I can than you all enough for everything you did for my family and I. I highly recommend using Gateway.

11. Last minute save.

    This was a last minute move and I needed a reliable mover that could pick up my things,store it for 2 months then finally deliver it to my new residence. Gateway Moving and Storage graciously took the job. I was able to get picked up within 4 days of our first call. I was able to use thier storage facility and got a great deal on that as well. The sales associate I worked with was very knowledgeable and showed me the credentials and DOT information to show me they were who they said they were. The movers showed up in the company truck and my furniture was never transferred to any other truck. That is one of the many benefits of working with an actual moving company and not a broker. I called the same number any time I had a question or request and never got bounced around. Believe me when I say they are the best mover I ever used in terms of communication , hard work , and showing up when they tell you they are. No run around never changed a price and did not leave a mess behind. Now that the move is complete I wanted to express how well the move was. I would 100% use them again no question asked.

    Well done. I have many years of experience working with moving companies. I also worked for a moving company in my earlier years so I came into this with an idea as to what to look for and what to avoid. This was my personal move and it was done by Gateway Moving and Storage. They are the actual company and do not work with third party movers. The same truck that was arranged to pick up my belongings was the same truck that delivered them. I was given a binding not to exceed price that did not change on my move date. I watched the movers closely and they are all experienced men. It was clear by the way my furniture was taken apart and wrapped that they work like a team. The customer service and dispatch department would call me with status updates and even just as a check in. They make time to Guarantee each customer is satisfied with the service and all thier personal needs are met. I would use them again and I would be happy to refer them and I’m not the easiest critic. It was what you expect from a moving company and more.

13. The truth.

    The best and most honest movers in the industry. I have never been this thrilled while moving from state to state ever. The four men that moved us were amazing and made sure we were completely satisfied with the entire process. I have to admit they are the best company I have ever used.

    This entire process that I want people to know that I just went through was absolutely amazing and outstanding. They made sure that we were completely packed wrapped and loaded in no time. The delivery was shortly after which was great. Over all there were no issues and no damage whatsoever. I highly recommend using them.

You were the first company to reply to our request and worked with us through our very busy schedule. Though we were pressed for time to make this happen your system and attention to detail is the reason this move went so well. Most the other companies we spoke to didn’t even offer long term storage or it was flat out too expensive. I wanted to come to this website and tell other people about the company you run. Very well maintained and friendly associates. The price we were given never fluctuated it was firm. Everything went on the same truck it never changed hands. Great job.
