Moving.
Having never used movers to help move, master movers was the best place to start. They were so friendly on the phone and made it incredibly easy to get and estimate for our move and to book it. They were so helpful and answered all my questions. I will definitely be using them again in the future!
Disappointed w service.
Completely was disappointed with the service.I called and scheduled a very simple move (a few pieces of furniture).Initially when I called I spoke to a very nice woman and scheduled my move for the following day.After hanging up the movers called me back and asked if they could come the same day instead(for the inconvenice they would charge me a FLAT fee vs hourly). I agreed and rushed home from work. They later charged me extra fees that they did not mention and they also did not assemble my furniture upon arrival as well as lost screws etc for my bed. Also one of the movers asked to use my bathroom (no big deal, O I THOUGHT) and he actually urinated all over my floor. Which I failed to notice until they left. Pretty much just a pain, should've got a UHAUL !
Good service.
I used master movers about two weeks ago and it went very well. I called the same day I needed to move and they were able to schedule me for the same day. I was out on time (my old apartment was on the third floor) and they finished the entire move in less time than the quote. I will probably use them again to move my things to my new place.
Poor customer service.
I scheduled my move for 9/23/2016. The day before I got a confirmation email that they would be at my home between 9-11. 11:30 came and no one had called or shown up. I call dispatch and was put on hold while Tracey tried getting ahold of the movers. She got back on the phone and said she could not get ahold of them and would call me back. At 11:55 I called her back and was told they ran over and she would have to send a different set of movers and they would be there in an hour. 1:15 still no movers and no call. Called back again asked to speak to a manager and I got Ben on the phone. He was not helpful at all. He didn't care that I had spent by this time 4 hours waiting. I asked for some kind of compensation and his response was "so you want to cancel?" No I don't want to cancel I need to get moved. It is now 2:20 and just received a call they are 10 minutes away. This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with and I would suggest never use them. Their prices are cheap for a reason . You definitely get what you are paying for.
Master Movers are Master Scamers.
Crooks! My original quote was for $544 to move all of my large furniture, store it for a week and then deliver it go my new location. I received several invoices, payment receipts and e-mails (all kept for documentation purposes) which were incorrect or not for the same amount that I was told on the phone. Finally after complaining about the ever changing price, we settled on a new quote of $578, which I paid in full to prevent further price variances.
When the movers arrived they pulled all of my furniture out into the street, then informed me there were out of time and I would need to pay for an additional two hours of labor to give them time to get the items off the street and into the truck, and additional $190.
When it was time to receive my furniture at my new location, the driver informed me that the office told him he needed to collect an additional $265 from me before any furniture was unloaded from the Truck. I paid the ransom, but I vowed to write on-line reviews and let the public know about their larceny.

I used their service two days ago. It was professional, fast and efficient. Danny was really helpful. Great service for a great price. I'm satisfied.
Horrible Moving Sevice.
We used Master Movers in April and it was a terrible mistake. First, they neglected to disclose the added fees associated with the move until they arrived at our home preparing to move us. So, we unfortunately had no choice but to continue. Then, we experienced a significant amount of damage to furniture, I.e. scratches on stainless steel appliances, broken couch (we recently purchased), broken dining room table, and the list continues. We put in a claim for only the items that had major damage and was given a bs excuse as to why they could not pay the claim. Beware..do not make the same mistake we did by using this company.
Never ever move with Master Movers.
They charged double the quoted price. They move so slow you have to make sure they are still breathing. Complaints fall on deaf ears. They are not BBB approved so you need to contact the Indiana Attorney Generals office to file formal complaints. They need to be run out of business. Heed the notice and look for an honest mover.
Extorted several hundred dollars over estimate from my elderly parents.
Estimate was $350.
Showed up seven hours late. Said that the cost of moving materials was "accidentally" not included in estimate and it would now be $650 or they could find someone else. Damaged furniture and milked the clock by being on phone for first half hour then wanted to round up fifteen minutes when finishing at five after the quarter hour. Would not give a copy of receipt. Actual charge to bank was over $800. Said they would "compensate" for being so late and now will not answer any calls about that or about the money they STOLE from my parents.
Terrible Company Do Not Use Master Movers.
I was told they would arrive between 9-11 am, they showed up at 12 pm. The "foreman" counts all my items and says it will take approx 6 hours to move my items to my new apartment ACROSS THE STREET and it will cost $584. We had a little argument. They charged my card $584 before they even started the work. It took them 3 hours to move my belongings. Could've been 2 hours if the foreman got off his rear-end and did anything. At least 15 items were never even moved and we had to do it ourselves because we didn't realize they were still in our old apartment until they left. Our apartment was a mess as well from all their trash. The "foreman" should've been doing his job and made sure none of this happened but instead he was too busy sitting in his truck talking on the phone. Several items were damaged. Then when all is said and done, the job was almost $300 less than they charged me for, but I can't get the money back until next week because they already charged my account $584. It was a terrible experience and I will never use this company again. I recommend you do the same.
Master Movers.
I agree completely with so many of the comments in other posts..I wish I had read them before we hired Master Movers. We could not be more disappointed in Master Movers. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and they do not respond to calls. While I am happy to say we did not have damaged items, they charged us nearly TWICE what they originally quoted, racking up hidden charges, overtime, etc. When we disputed the price, they threatened to impound our belongings. I don't know how the owners/managers sleep at night. We are considering legal action against them. If you value your belongings and your sanity, use another mover!
Moving Services.
Mastermovers lied about being a national company with drivers as employees. Lied about delivery process. They subcontracted two idiots to deliver. Delivery was in two budget rental trucks, Guys were unprofessional--would not give me their company names or their personal last names. They FORCED me to sign receipt of all items before they would unload. I said that was not legal but they threaten to leave without unloading our items. Several items were damaged, destroyed, soiled, missing. Our contract stated that items would remain in Master Movers company and they would deliver, unpack and reassemble items. Ben Moshe, the sale representative, stated many things that were untrue.
Company refused to settle damages based on 60 cents per lb of damaged items--which is what they quoted.
Claims Dept will not answer phone or talk to you.
BAD COMPANY--DO NOT USE.
Thieves.
They literally stole my husband LOADED hand gun, the guy confessed , but Benjamin did not have any compassion and actually argued with my husband, was a complete Ahole, had to call the cops TWICE, the "movers" showed up with no doly, no tools, thankfully we did all the packing, they were not suppose to pack anything, but they did pack what they wanted to keep for themselves, worst people in the world.
Poor service and no refund for damages.
Do not hire this company! I use them for a very easy move and they did a poor job, damaging walls and furniture. They charged me for 4 hours even if they worked only 3 and after almost six months I haven't been refunded for the damages, even if my claim has been accepted. They keep saying that the billing department is processing the payment… I'm really unhappy with Master Movers.
Horrific experience.
Super disappointed in the service we received. Booked a move for today at 1 pm. Movers never showed and we never received a call.
Just had to cancel and are now scrambling to rally friends and family to help us last minute because no alternative was given to us.
No word yet on an actual refund either. HUGE thumbs down. Save your stress and go with a more reputable company.
