Horrible Customer Service
September 2020 we used Premier Chicago Movers to move a family member cross country from Minnesota to Florida.
The three men (local I believe) who came to pickup the items were very nice and seemed to take good care packing the moving truck. (Sadly, the positivity ends there.)
Once the truck left our driveway, there were no updates for a week.
The day the family member was flying out, we called Premier Chicago Movers because we had not heard any updates. That afternoon, received a note stating the truck had left the warehouse, but no idea of when it left, or when we should expect the delivery at the new location. Movers were supposed to call 24 hours before delivery, which never happened either.
Movers called Saturday afternoon and said they could be there between 7:00 and 8:00 that night or possibly Sunday sometime.
We opted for Saturday night since we had already been waiting a few days with no furniture.
Movers showed up, and brought everything in, including three boxes that did not belong to us. We pointed out to the drivers that there was three boxes that were not ours and that we were missing our TV and two patio chairs. After movers were gone, once we started unpacking realized missing one other box with miscellaneous items such as a TV remote and a CD player also was not delivered. Some minor damage to some items in the move, but that can be expected.
(Not asking to be reimbursed for those minor items.) Called and emailed the moving company tried to give them a few days to see if they could locate the Lost items. Have now left numerous telephone messages and emails for which the company has not responded. At this point, almost a month later, we would like to be reimbursed for the lost items.
UPDATE, after six weeks the company has finally reached out and told us to jump through more hoops to possibly get reimbursed for the items they lost during my move. The email said I could file a claim with a third party company, one not accredited with the Better Business Bureau (probably owned by someone else in cahoots with this company) to decide if I would POSSIBLY get any money back even though they have documentation items were not delivered. If you are considering using this company to save a little money during a move, I suggest to find a more reputable moving company, even it it costs you more money. I DO NOT recommend Premier Chicago Movers.

They were very professional. They took the time to listen to all of our needs and were completely transparent about pricing. There’s nothing I hate worse than being quoted a price and ending up having to pay more in the end! Our fish tank was our biggest concern but they wrapped it so well it arrived without a scratch on it! I will recommend them to everyone in a heart-beat and will use them again also!

I absolutely loved the crew over at Northern Moving. They were on-time, efficient, well priced, cautious, and friendly. As a single mom, things were already stressful and complicated but they took my burdens away and at a great price. I was very pleased with everything they did and it was a great experience. Recommended!

It was hassle free experience without any damage of my belongings. Everything done smoothly and with care of my belongings. These guys were amazing! Jennifer and R not only showed up on time, they were a little early which was great! We hired them for the minimum time and they were able to get so much more of our stuff to our new place than we had thought possible.

I hired Premier Chicago Movers to move my belongings from Ohio to Texas on 03/20/2020. They told us initially that our belongings will be delivered to our destination address within one week but they didn't deliver. So, we tried to reach them to query about the delivery date but initially, for few days they didn't answer the calls or replied to our emails later when they picked up a call that I called from an unknown number, they started shouting and cursing but we kept our patience as our belongings were still not delivered yet. On 04/08/2020, they delivered our stuff but we found damaged and missing boxes so again we queried them about compensation and we did settle for some amount through CSI (third-party claims company) but till the date after trying to reach them many times, they didn't pay that amount.

They were prompt in arriving and efficient in how they managed the work! All of my items and furniture were moved to our new home with no incidents. The best part is that the service was reasonably priced! If I ever need to move again I will definitely be giving Premier Chicago Movers a call.

Had a straightforward discussion on the phone to determine if they were the right moving company for us. They were. They showed up on time, fully prepared, and incredibly professional. Told them we would have a third of house already done and everything else ready to go so we could make it fast. In the end, smiles all around, and they congratulate us on our new place! The movers were incredibly fast and worked hard. When you move a lot, you get used to movers who are constantly idling, taking their time, running out the clock, etc. Even though we were their last move of the day and it was VERY hot, these guys hustled.

I was so impressed with these guys! They were not only friendly, but were downright cheerful. When you're already stressed, that means so much. They were 5 minutes early for the 2 hour window in which they were set to arrive, and completed the job with the utmost level of professionalism. It can be a pain to move, but they were so careful with it, and it arrived to its new home in the exact same condition as it left the former one. I will def be using them for my next move!

The guys, Alexander and Daniel were all friendly and professional. They were super patient while I decided where stuff needed to go or if I asked them to move stuff somewhere else. They worked quickly and were very careful when moving large pieces around tight corners. If you need someone to pick up and store your items, then this is the Company to work with.
