Very professional.
My name is Adriana Gomez and I have recently used your company for my move from Fort Lauderdale Florida to Cleveland Ohio. I want to recapture my experience for you so you can know how impressed I was with my service. I originally was speaking with Alfonso and because of his persistence (and patience) he won my business. He was not overly pushy but answered any and all questions I had. He was patient with me as I did not know my exact move date due to a hiring process I was involved in. He never got short or impatient and that was a very good tactic for me.
Once the move date was set, the moving truck came to my villa within the window of time that he said it would. I also got a call from Max the day before to confirm this. On the day of the move, Max pulled up in front of my house, hopped out of the truck, walked toward me, shook my hand and introduced himself. All the while he kept good eye contact. This immediately gave me confidence and assurance that I was dealing with a professional company because Max himself was professional.
Max first sat down with me to explain the way the move was billed and that the quote was for 1400 cubic feet. He could see that I would exceed that and explained to me how that would work. He went over each page of the contract with me explaining it in a way I could understand. He did not rush me even though time is money. It seemed more important to him that I was able to understand what he was explaining to me and that I understood the process. This is huge from a customer service standpoint.
Once the paperwork was done, the three men, including Max starting the loading process, but not before Max had me come out to the truck to see that there was nothing in the truck already except for some packing supplies. Once again, this speaks of integrity and Max was transparent throughout the process. After reading many horror stories about moving companies, I found this to be very refreshing and comforting. It built my confidence in Sunshine State Moving Company. Honesty goes a long way in today's world.
The three men were amazing with how fast they loaded the truck, but it was Max's organizational skills that blew me away. Not only did he have everything inventoried on a paper with corresponding stickers on the items, but the way Max packed that truck was like nothing I had ever seen before. A mouse could not have crawled through the gaps between the boxes the way Max fitted them perfectly together making the best use of the space. What impressed me the most was when Max asked me to come out to the truck again when it was about one-third full to see if I was happy with the way he was loading the truck. Like I said, I had never seen anything like it and I don't think I ever will again. But the fact that he showed me the way he was packing and asked for my approval, again screamed of integrity and great customer service.
Well, my stuff did not all fit in the first truck, so Max sat down with me once again and explained how it would look if I used part of another truck for the rest of the things. I was really going over my budget to do this, but Max persuaded me to do it. I was having a hard time making that decision but he made it easy for me by waiving any down payment at that time. He also offered the option to store it with the company for up to thirty days because I was not sure if it all would fit in my apartment. This was an option I could live with and I decided to do it. In hind sight, it was the right decision and I am glad that Max made the extra effort to discuss the options with me.
Once that decision was made, the three of them went into hyper-speed and collected the rest of my stuff and put it into the second truck. Max had packed the first truck to the gills and put the packing supplies in the second truck. That made more room in the first truck for my things. I was so very happy at how that day went. I was not worried about a thing because I felt that I was being well taken care of by Max. He made that part of my move stress free. I instinctively knew I would have no problems on the other end once I knew it would be Max driving the truck.
One the other end, the truck arrived thirty minutes after I got to the apartment. Perfect timing. Max got out and immediately got to work bringing the boxes into my apartment. He did have a local helper on this end but in all my life, I have never seen anyone work as hard as Max. He is very focused, diligent, and professional. He is a good organizer, administrator, implementer, communicator and is wise beyond his years. I was very surprised to hear he is only twenty-four years old because of his maturity level. The way he deals with and interacts with people is incredible. Max is, in my opinion, one of the most valuable assets in your company.
It is too bad you cannot clone him as you cannot teach the average person his work ethics. This is a gift he has and it is invaluable. I hope that Max is appreciated and rewarded for being such a good representation of Sunshine State Moving Company. I will not forget my moving experience, and especially Max anytime soon. He made moving, which can be a nightmare, a pleasant experience and I would recommend him to anyone.

Stolen jewelry, stolen electronics, had to call the police. Broken dishes, furniture etc. Do not hire this company! IURA robbed me and then lied about it. They will lie cheat and steal to get what they want. They are being investigated by the FBI and are being criminally charged.

The company advertises that they are not a broker and they use their own trucks and employees. Not true, my mother's truckload was put in storage at least twice before it made it from SC to MA, all subcontracted movers. 82 year old woman; they lost her queen bed and box spring, arm broken off wood rocking chair, scratched/gauged wood end table, several smaller items missing (DVD Player, folding step stool, pedistal to floor fan, etc.). Beware of added cost for packing. Also, recommend you purchase the maximum level insurance plan to get reimbursed for your lost and damaged items should you choose this company. .

In the beginning: I don't know anyone who enjoys moving. It is blows your mind, it's not cheap, you have to organize people who don't and can't give a .. about your stuff.
So, a crew that shows up on time, is efficient, not lazy, quick, but careful and respectful and does not charge you extras is my idea of a good time had by all.
They were polite, dealt well with hiccups (issues with getting use of the elevator when our building said we would), fast and efficient (if it doesn't fit, they'll take it apart or find a way!) and explainable with the price. I got 3 quotes on my place and they were smack in the middle. I had them do a full pack and move.
The pack went swiftly - I completely recommend this if you haven't before - you will spend DAYS deciding what to keep and which box to put this in. They know how many boxes, organize it by room and throw everything in there without a second dilly-dallying thought.
All in, a good, efficient, hard-working, professional crew. Would use them again.

This was the easiest and most well executed move I have ever had! Everyone involved were just great. From Brett who explained everything over the phone and managed to squeeze me into the schedule (even though I called two days before only), to Sean the dispatcher who confirmed the move and made sure the crew notify me when they arrive at my home. Also Max and the guys who handled my things with such care and respect. I was and am impressed with this operation.

I just want to say that the gentlemen that came and moved me, were the nicest, most curteous movers. They were professional, and friendy. I believe they were Sean, and Mike. I am moving again in a few months, and not only will I use your services again. For sure.. I am requesting those two young men to help me move again. Thank you so much for you services. I used Sunshine to move last month, and I was very pleased with their services. The two men who moved my furniture (Max and Sean) did an excellent job wrapping my furniture, keeping everything clean, and making sure not to bump anything as they gingerly moved my items. They were very professional, helpful, and I would gladly use them again if I moved.My move ended up costing $ 1750 less then it was estimated ($2000). However, very good customer service, and not even one thing broken, chipped, bumped during the move. Very good company. Worth the extra star!
Story About my Move.
I used Sunshine State for my move just last week and was very satisfied with everything. The movers I had were Azik and Sean and I must say, they were excellent movers. They took pride in their work and made sure everything was protected so it didn't get any type of damage. They were friendly, courteous, and hard working guys. Was very pleased with the movers and this company. If you need a mover, don't hesitate to call this company. Their prices were also very reasonable compared to other companies. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again if needed and would recommend them to anyone in need of a moving company. The company and movers were rated excellent , excellent, excellent, as far a I'm concerned. Great company! I was able to move with ease without any damages nor marks on the furniture. Love this company. Have used movers before and none can compare to the quality this company provides.

From start to finish ,the process was professional.
Excellent experience.Arrived at time arranged.Men were very courteous and professional throughout the move.Took great care of our items.They responded quickly to find an alternate when a road was closed for construction near our destination.Special care given to a trap drum set that was super important to us.Took precaution to protect the carpet at the new house from rain and mud that greeted us there.Driver did an oustanding job getting the truck into an extremely narrow driveway and muddy yard.Will recommend Sunshine State Moving at every opportunity.

There was a scheduling error the day of my move.However,the representative I spoke with on the phone handeled the error wonderful.In addition,the movers were spectacular.They were friendly and helpful.They had a great attitude and seemed to enjoy their job.I was very satisfied.I will use this conpany again.Thank you.

The movers were so professional and helpful.They marked everything so it was extremly easy to unpack.I was impressed with the steps they took for safety and constantly talked about safety and reminded each other about doing things.They were polite and constantly explained what was going on.They also discussed other services that were available.I felt they care about my belongings like I cared.They worked well together also.I'd request these movers again.Thank you.

My movers were AWESOME!!They did a fantastic job!They were fast ,courteous and took excellent care of my possessions.They were careful drivers,excellent packers,personable and just all around wonderful.They helped me place furniture ,disconnect my washer and dryer,etc.They even helped my elder neighbor get around the truck while she was walking her dog.I have no suggestions that I could offer because they were perfect!Thank you Sunshine State Moving!

I had heard about how good they were from many people.Friends and older people in mothers retirement community and the staff at emeritus pleasant hills have always been pleased .I have now used twice and both times have truly been exceptional.I would not call anyone else for any moving needs in my future.I will always offer Sunshine to anyone who has any moving plans.The guys and I may be misspelling some names(Yura,Azik)were absolutely wonderful.Very professional and were lifting and moving something constantly.I really appreciate Sunshine .Chad is wonderfull.He was extremly easy to talk to and he understood my moving needs immediately.I really appreciate Chad and all he did to see that the move went easily for everyone involved.
