Did Not Show Up.. Poor Service.
We scheduled the moving service from Cedar Town, GA to Jacksonville, FL with Chad Abrams for 2-4pm on 2/8/13. They said they would give a confirmation call 1 hour before arriving. At 3:30pm, I called dispatch to find out the status. Yury (dispatcher) had the driver (Constantine) call me. Constantine said he had truck problems and was at the shop but would make it in about 2 hours. At 6:30pm, I called Constantine back to find out the status. Constantine said the exact same thing he said at 3:30pm; he had truck problems and was at the shop but would be there in 2 hours. I asked for a supervisor to call me. I received a call from Shawn who said he was a supervisor at 7:25pm. He said he could have another truck here in 2 hours… we never heard from the company again and they did not show up for service. I called all numbers given but received voice mails on all lines. I also sent numerous emails but did not get a response. I’ve requested the $100 deposit back but haven’t heard from anyone yet. .
Very Professional Company.
My experience with Sunshine State Moving Company Inc. has been very well. I am completely satisfied with the quality of service that was provided to me. The quality of the services ranging from customer support to promptness of the delivery of my furniture were all execllent. The employees at the company were very polite with me and have addressed all my concerns. I would definitely recommend Sunshine State Moving Company to anyone who are deciding which moving company to do business with. .
Great company who does the job with honesty and provides great service.
I've moved three times in the past year, most of the time with different companies but I just had the best move on the last week with Tysh, Sunshine State moving. They gave us a very accurate estimate over the phone and help us plan our move. Soon their long Distance dispatch called us and confirmed the job and went over the details. He also seemed very polite and professional, and assured us everything is going as it planed and the movers will come tomorrow @ 9 - 11 am. Not only did they show up on time but they packed nearly our entire apartment. Shortly after arriving, the Forman provided us with detailed information about the day and they started to work right away. Thank god they came with extra boxes and moving supplies and actually that we didn't even realize we will be needed! The packing obviously took much longer but once we arrived at our house they unpacked us in record time and even help us to reassemble some of our furniture. This was a painless move and really had a great time with the movers. The guys were very nice and honest and they couldn't' t make the move more faster and more efficient and I must say, we were extremely pleased with their service. Very fast, friendly and efficient and very professional company which I wouldn't hesitate to use again and highly recommend to everybody !
Professional Moving Company.
I had to move from Florida to Louisiana. I was kind afraid of letting strangers move for me. But I went out on a limb and tried Sunshine State Moving. I called different moving companies and they all were very expensive. I finally called Sunshine State Moving and they quoted me a excellent price. The movers arrived on time. I didn't have everything ready for them to move my things. The movers had a very good attitude and package up my whole apartment. It was amazing because they did it so fast. I could tell that the movers had plenty of experience. It did not take long for my furniture to make it from Florida to LA. The truck driver called me a day before my furniture was going to arrived. When I recieved my furniture, nothing was damaged. They had a record of everything that was packaged. The movers unwrapped all of the furniture and set my furniture up just like it was in Florida. One guy even help me put up some new pictures that I had just purchased on the wall. This is a great moving company and I really do advise people to use Sunshine State Moving. This company is very professional. .
Satisfied client.
I used sunshine state moving for my move from miami shores to LA. I recieved more that 20 calls but it was chad's professionalism that gained my attention. the quote was fair price-wise but the reviews I read had me a little spooked. if it wasn't for the communication factor between chad and myself I waould have probably skipped over them. I was not dissappointed with them at all. they were on time, the guys worked hard and the price was only 300.00 bucks over my quote. I chalk that up to special packing. the fee 4k bucks was well worth the move and I have no complaints and would use them again if needed. AD.
Late hours.
While I received the service and pricing I expected, both the pickup and delivery times were late at night. I expected to have a daytime experience and was surprised. There was an issue with a box of lamps that were not packed properly. It seems like the helpers for the pickup mover did not finish the job before closing the box. I am expecting Sunshine State to offer some accommodation for that loss. All through the experience, the service from the front office was extremely pleasant and they were always quick to respond with full information and answers. The movers were very polite and respectful.
THE WORST moving company.
They stolen my money, using false statements!!they have not honesty at all and try to work slow to make more hours and more money, it is not fear. Liars!!robbers!!do not hire this people. They say that charges US300 but at the end ask for US600 or more, be careful!!
The worst service in the area!!
They are thieves!!they have not honesty!!They do not charge what they say, they lie to the customers, the police should take care of this people!!I saked tomove my things from a 1/1 apartment and they quoted me US$300 later they charged US$720 the distance between one property and the other was only 2 blocks and they ask me for US$100 gas fee, this is crazy!!they do not want to negotiate and instead of that closed the truck and tried to take my staff. I do not understand why a company like this is operating legaly!!

Emailed me three different "binding estimates" all with different charges per cut. The balance I agreed to was totally a lie. Driver loaded furniture and refused to unload and drove off after he wrote double the balance than agreed. Company would not return calls. I was then told if I want my stuff to be dropped off at pick up I have to pay $600. They charged me extra for fuel surcharge $97. They charged me $75 dollars for extra/split pick up or delivery that was also a lie. I sent them emails asking for correction and explanation of balance. They say they never received it. Received an email with a balance 3x the correct remaining balance from Yury. Very aggressive liars and they keep transferring my call to different people who knew nothing about the load that was picked up. 26 days later they sent me an email to have a different balance that was higher than the one they previously emailed me.
Moving Company.
Sunshine state moving company is a great company if u are looking for guys to get the job done not only is they organize but the experience they have when it comes to packing things neatly is just awesome. I will love to refer a friend to sunshine state moving company because great results is guaranteed.

Excellent service.
My experience from start to finish was wonderful. Chad was wonderful. His professionalism made this transition easy. I would recommend Sunshine state moving to everyone. From our initial contact, he made sure I understood how he came up with the quote. He also was easy to contact when I had any questions. On moving day, he made sure the movers were on time and professional. once my load arrived, he made sure there were no issues. .
Poor business practices.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This is the first time I didn't check reviews..my mistake..if I had, I never would have done business with this company. I was given a quote by Tysh, however,Public Movers did the actual packing, moving,& unpacking, (appears Public Movers is an "agent" of Sunshine. Ad states that Sunshine does not use agents). When Public Mover showed up (late) to pack up my furnishings, the amount had nearly doubled. I was told to "speak with Tysh" (from Sunshine Movers). When I asked her about this, she said that Public Movers should not have doubled the price. When I emailed her after my furniture was finally delivered (with one broken piece of furniture..cast iron by the way)..she said that there was nothing she could do but to refer me to Liz at Public Movers.
The Worst!
Where to begin---the experience with this company was HORRIBLE! Please avoide them at all costs! Lack of follow up (I had to call again and again to get my stuff.) Quote was completely inaccurate and once they moved me, they added "Extra" costs and the bill was almost doubled Lack of professionalism on the phone and in person Please save yourself the pain.
Scam Movers.
These are nothing but Russian rip off artists, this is a HUGE conspiracy and the so called owner Chad Abrams, is the mastermind. He quotes you acts like he cares about you and everything is tries to warn you about with other companies, Sunshine State does.
They quoted me $1800 and I ended up paying close to double, they showed up to my house in a box PENSKE, they charged me $400 additional and repacked my things. When I called Chad he was NO where to be found.
I went with them cause they had an A rating with the BBB, I didn't nothing they started with the BBB 2 months ago, now they rating has dropped since then..
My items arrived 3 days ago, damaged and some items missing. I am furious because no one there wil return my calls. I was ripped off and there is nothing I can do about it.
If you are thinking about using this company, think again, I would not let them move my hanster cage. Go with a REAL company, They already have 3 complaints with the DOT and its only going to get worse. I will be warning people on every site possible until this company is out of business which by the looks of it will be soon.
Avoid.
Their initial quote was done by a professional and seemingly trustworthy man. They quote by cubic feet. The estimator went through the entire house and told us it would cost $2531.34. When the movers came, the amount of cubic feet increased by 30% and we were told the new charges were $3513. We did not have the extra and it took weeks of arguments to settle this. I believe it was only settled because we didn't sign the original price change at the pickup site. They also missed an entire room of our house and blamed it on us, claiming we never told them to look there. It took two weeks to correct this, and they refused to update us on where our stuff was.
The movers themselves were courteous, but the staff on the phones was downright abusive. I was cut off, hung up on, and cursed at just for wanting to know if the second load had even been picked up. This was easily the most frustrating moving experience I have ever had (and I've moved 6 times in 5 years).
