  1. Do Not Hire This Company.

    I signed a contract with Titan to have a truck and movers arrive on the weekend of the 30th of June. I had done a cursory search that told me that they had an A+ rating on the BBB and few reviews I had read were decent.
    I was told that I would get a call from dispatch on Friday with a window of when the truck would arrive. There was no call.I had to call on Saturday repeatedly to find out that the truck would actually arrive on the 1st of July between 2 and 4 pm. No one called and no truck arrived. No effort was made to reach out to us.
    On Monday, I called about a half hour after business started (9:30 am) to inquire about the truck. I was told someone would be reaching out to me shortly. I waited til 11 am before I tried again only to be told them same thing, and then again at 12:30 pm. Finally, I insisted on answers at 2 pm. I was finally told by a guy in dispatch, Tyler, that the truck had been in an accident. All my stress could have been mitigated with a simple 2 minute call from dispatch.
    It took them until Tuesday to finally get a truck rescheduled, and that wasn't going to be until Friday the 6th of July. I tell Tyler this is there last chance. We have to be out of the apartment by the following Tuesday or we have to pay the full month's rent for that apartment.
    I had to come down to Tennessee to get some pre-employment things taken care of, so my husband had to drive back up to Ohio to meet them. We were told the truck would be there between 4 and 6. We once again did not get a call from dispatch and no truck has arrived. Around 9 pm, my husband gives up, loads up our car with as much as it can hold and comes home to me and our 9 month old. I told Tyler both by voicemail and by text message (since he never answered any of my messages when I was calling about the truck), that since no truck has shown up that day to not bother sending one. We were done.
    On Sunday, after my husband and I rallied a team of people to help us get moved the next day, I get a call from a driver saying they were about a half-hour away from our place in Ohio. I told them they were too late, no one would be there to meet them because they didn't show up on Friday like they were scheduled to do so.
    Titan has not made any calls to us. Every bit of communication with the exception of a call to say I was going to get a call from dispatch has been initiated by myself. My husband has wasted a 4 1/2 hour trip, costing us gas and time that could be better spent elsewhere. They will not issue a refund because a truck came and it's a non-refundable deposit. I paid $945 for nothing but a whole ton of stress and anger. Based on the other reviews I've been reading, I suppose I should count myself lucky that's all I'm out on. If I can't get my $945 back, I want to make sure I do everything in my power to save someone else from these scam artists.

  2. Criminal.

    BEWARE of this company! They are scam artists. When I had to move cross-country I looked at a variety of moving companies. I chose Titan because the man who quoted me gave me a nice pitch about how good Titan was and showed me online how to see proof of its A+ Better Bureau Rating and how reputable it in fact was.

    After finally signing the online contract and placing the deposit, all contact was virtually lost!! I should mention that before the deposit their company was contacting me twice daily. After a flurry of calls and messages with no response I get called a day before my moving day saying that they in fact will show up.

    Relieved, the movers appear in an UNMARKED truck (even after a long speech from the quoter about how they never sub-let their jobs). The movers seem experienced and package our belonging carefully and mark them. Once everything is loaded on the truck he smiles and says I owe him $1,000 more than I was supposed to because we were under-quoted.

    Then he says our stuff will arrive roughly in about 2 weeks. After 3 weeks of hearing nothing, we call Titan repeatedly and daily leaving messages left and right with no response. The only way I get a hold of someone is by pretending I want another quote! No one seems to have any clue where the truck is currently or where are belonging actually are.

    Finally after a month of waiting without our belonging, we hired a lawyer. The lawyer contacted them and in a few days coincidentally a driver calls me saying our belongings will be delivered. The driver this time only accepts payment in CASH!!?

    He shows up in a U-HAUL truck the next day! He demands extra money because the move to the door is too far even though they pull up next to my building. They won’t unload until they are paid the extra fee. My wife has to go to the ATM to pull out an extra 500 bucks while she has our two year-old! Finally they unload our things. We were missing a box and several valuables had broken during the transport. These guys couldn’t care less.

    I plan on destroying this companies reputation and sounding the alarm so that no one can get deceived like I did. Ultimately we paid nearly double the quoted estimate and dealt with the incredible stress of not knowing where our belongings were for over a month.

    Screw Titan. They are criminals and they deserve to be put in jail.

  3. Stay Away!!

    I'm not sure if this is a scam or just a terribly run company. Someone named Tyler called me to inform me the truck broke down and they had to find a new truck, but he would call me in an hour to update me on the situation. An hour later I don't hear from him so I call him back. It goes straight to voicemail, which is full. I send him an SMS message and get the generic "I can't talk right now. I'll call you back." He never calls back. I try calling Titan to get an update on when/if a truck is going to show up and there is no answer for the customer service or dispatch lines. The only way to reach someone is to press 1 for a free quote and get them to have their manager call me back. 30 minutes later a manager calls me and makes up a lie about my wife calling and postponing the move from early morning to between 12:00 and 2:00. I call her out on her lie and she says she was confused. I ask her when we are scheduled and she still says 12-2:00.
    Hours go by without hearing from anyone. I get a text from Tyler that he has a family emergency and I should be hearing from someone named Rodrigo. Rodrigo calls and tells me he'll be there at 9:00pm to walk through my house. I inform him my contract says he has to load my stuff by the end of the day or they are violating the contract. He has a contract in front of him with DIFFERENT DATES! He says his manager will call me to straighten it out. Rodrigo arrives at 9pm just like he said, but I still haven't heard from his manager.

    I'm glad I didn't let anyone from this company into my house. Their communication is absolutely terrible once it comes time to actually perform the move. Everything before moving day made this seem like a legitimate business, but I wouldn't trust them with any of my belongings.

  4. Scam.

    This is a false company. If you check their website and location (which does not exist) titanmovingandstorage.com everything is fake or generic. Nothing is unique or genuine. This is a comlete scam do not trust this company. They will hold your goods hostage and demand up to 3x the price of the estimate. They are all fake, do not trust this company at all.

  5. Nightmare.

    Where do I start?

    The day the movers were supposed to pick up my belongings they didn’t show. I had to call them several times in order to get ahold of anyone, for them to tell me my move was now pushed back until the next day. June 15th,I received a call at 7am saying movers would be there in 30 minutes. Upon loading my items the supposed foreman got into a verbal altercation with a family member of mine. Very disrespectful. One of them also broke my son’s crib. So we could no longer take that. Still,All 3 movers were given a very geneeous tip.

    After all of my things were loaded in a truck I was asked to sign new/different paper work. When I then asked when they thought they would arrive to our destination they laughed at me and said they don’t do the driving, that my stuff would be taken to storage and loaded onto another truck and driven out to South Dakota when a driver was ready. Now I had no clue this was how it was being done. Upon reserving my move it was made very clear that my things would be loaded into a truck and on it’s way immediately to the final destination.

    The next few days I called, They had no update other than it had not left San Diego. So now here I was over 1,700 miles away with a toddler and 0 of our belongings which I was told would arrive Monday June 18th.

    For the first number of days they claimed they had 14 business days to deliver me things. Once that date came and went they claimed they had 21 business days. Again, When that day came and went it was “en route”. It’s been 3 weeks since it’s been rn route. (I can promise anyone thatit doesn’t take that long to make the trip!) I was eventually called by a Tyler the “mid west dispatcher” who said my belongings had been sitting in a warehouse in Indianapolis. How interesting, seeing that Indianapolis is 750 more east than we’re I moved to ! So of course I’m pissed. He still had no ETA for me.. Weeks later and they still cannot give me any information. It’s been almost 60 days since they were supposed to deliver my things !!
    Ive had 2 attorneys contact Titan, they fail to acknowledge either at all, not return either ones voicemails nor emails.

    I’ve lost a job, I’ve had to drop out of my best friends wedding party and all events that go along with.
    My poor 2 year old has none of his things! Absolute nightmare !!

    Worst experience in my life.

  6. Breach of contract.

    I have been waiting for my things since 7/16. I received no 72 hour window. This is the most atrocious service I have ever received.
    My driver has changed his delivery time now 3 times (Jorge).
    I am now waiting for a 10 pm delivery.

  7. Stuff still has not arrived..

    I have had a horrible experience and my stuff still has not arrived. My belongings were picked up Sunday, June 24, with a first available delivery date of July 2. After I paid my deposit, I didn't hear anything from the company for weeks and started calling frantically, unsure if the movers were even coming. I didn't receive word until 8 PM the night before the very last day I could have my stuff picked up. It was a relief, but up until that moment I was completely panicking that I would have to vacate my apartment without any movers.

    It is now August 6 and I still have no idea where my belongings are. I was told that the delivery window was 14 business days, which was 17 days ago. Once this window passed I obviously started calling frantically. Most of the time nobody picks up, and then on the rare occasions when they do, they don't have an update. They promise to call dispatch and give me a call back, which I have never once received. The most information I ever got was that my stuff hadn't even left Texas, that the 14 day delivery window was in no way a guarantee, and that there is actually NO guarantee for when my stuff could arrive. I only learned after a month of waiting that because I don't have enough things for a full truck, this is considered a "piggy back" move - a term that was never explained to me during the sales process, but apparently it means I have to sit and wait for another partial truck to need to move from TX to NY. I was obviously completely misled during the sale process - why would I ever once agree to have no visibility or guarantee as to when my stuff could arrive?

    I had thought my stuff would take a week, maybe 2 to arrive, and as such I've been sleeping on an air mattress for 5 weeks, I've had to get new prescriptions because I ran out of medicine, I've had to buy more clothes because I went on full vacations I wasn't expecting to go on without my belongings. It has been an incredible source of stress for me and I feel personally victimized by the company, especially because nobody even has the decency to call me back and assure me that they're even WORKING on the move. Last I heard my stuff hadn't even left Texas.

    My order number is 8128707 if this is going to capture anyone's attention from the company! I don't usually write online reviews but I have obviously been moved to desperation at this point.

  8. Moving estimate changed once they landed on site.

    Items listed on estimate were apparently bulky despite me giving specific details on what brands of stuff items were.

    Needed invoice for post move due to "cash only" needs. Repeatedly followed up via phone and email and one month later there is no response.

  9. Blissful.

    My family and I are absolutely blissful after being moved and helped by Titan Moving and Storage. I don’t think that we could be more satisfied with the way that we were taken care of.

    My kids and I had a lot of stuff to move and we didn’t want any hiccups and we didn’t have a single one when we got done dealing with Titan.

    The pick up was easy and the delivery was great too. I will tell all my friends about how amazing this move was.

    Much and many hugs and thanks to the crew members of this fine organization.

  10. Happy deal.

    This was by far the easiest and most stress free move I have ever beeen through. The Navy put me through the ringer a few times but Titan made sure I was moved without a snag.

  11. Decent.

    The move was good, I didn't set it up my ex husband did so I don't know if I should blame him or if I really did take that much stuff. I am happy I was moved and nothing major happened but I just don't know who the blame is on me for taking a lot or my ex for the setup..

  12. Amazed.

    This was amazing. I am not one to leave reviews but I felt that they needed my recognition. They held my hand from the first call till after we were all set in our just built home.

    I have never pictured a moving company to be so polite and to be so courteous. Titan finds all that and more. Very very thoughtful and helpful.

  13. Cool company.

    Very very well done is all I have to say. I am absolutely satisfied with the move. The guys were great when they picked us up and moved us to our new home. It was a short notice and I was very excited. It was a quick process so no complaints from us.

  14. Nightmare in moving.

    On June 11, 2018, we contracted with Titan Moving and Storage, of Chantilly Va to move my sister from Roseville, CA to Minneapolis, MN. Her belongings were picked up on June 13. After 21 days had elapsed, we became worried and started calling and emailing the company, to know when we could expect delivery. During those weeks, no one ever called us back. We did receive 2 emails saying the company would get back to us during that time. All the while, my sister was at a new job, sleeping on an air mattress and becoming more worried if she would ever see her belongings again.
    On July 28, 47 days!! after the initial pick up, a trucker called my sister and said her belongings would be delivered the next morning, but she would need to pay more than the amount owed on the paperwork. And it would have to be in cash. Because she wanted her belongings, she agreed and went to the bank.
    The trucker showed up at 7 am on Sunday July 29 and immediately launched into a tirade about how much more money she'd have to pay. He never gave either her or me an exact amount, and started pull away with her belongings. Only by police intervention, was the trucker stopped from leaving. My sister had to pay even more than they had previously agreed upon the day before, but she finally got her belongings. As it turns out, some of her things were missing, such as a queen size box spring, a bed frame, a living room chair, framed art, and 3 boxes containing clothes and household goods. Not only did she have to wait a long time, she had to pay more and things were lost.

  15. Great day.

    This was by far a Great great day. When Jill spoke with my husband and I on the phone she made sure we knew what to expect and what was going to happen.

    The day of our move came and they were on time and made sure our stuff was handled with care. So not only was the sales part easy and taken care of but the move wbet easy too.

    Delivery was quick and very v pleased with the fact that nothing was missing or broken.

    Price was clear and precise, and very affordable. We are very pleased and happy.
