  2. Amazing work.

    The very first call that I had with Paul was very pleased. All that I needed to know was portrayed to me in extreme detail. I am so glad that my wife and I knew what to expect for the move.

    All the detail that we had to fulfill when it came to being prepared on the move day we listened to the professional.

    I was a little timid when the move day came. Threee professionals showed up in uniform like we were told they would. They helped us finish packing the last few boxes that we had.

    What really was the icing was when Paul called us halfway through the move to check on us and see how we were doing. That was very polite and so warming.

    Delivery day came and there was no issues, no damage, and the same guys that picked us up, dropped us off. Unlike what we read about other companies that are called brokers. Titan moving and storage we’re professionals and they were the actual moving company.

    Thank you very much Paul and thank you to the crew that moved us. We Will always recommend you all to our friends and co workers.

  3. The absolute worst service and experience - 0 stars.

    On May 15, 2018, after initiating a service for a moving company online, I was contacted by a representative of Titan Moving and Storage located Chantilly VA, 20151. I agreed to allow Titan Moving and Storage to relocate my items from Illinois to Georgia with an initial move date of 8/3/2018. My deposit of $922.25 was placed on 5/15/2018 as well.

    Back in June 2018, I called multiple days trying to reach someone at Titan Moving and Storage (red flag # 1). My phoned attempt was to change my pickup date to 7/6 from 8/3. After the fourth day, I was finally able to reach the customer service team by dialing the sales line. At this time, I was hesitant to continue on with this service but decided I would give them another chance.

    Based on the terms of my contract with Titan Moving and Storage, my pickup would occur on 7/6/2018 or 7/7/2018. On 7/6, I attempted to contact someone at Titan Moving and Storage to check the driver eta; no answer and the driver never showed. Move forward to today 7/7, waited until 11 am for the driver, again no driver and no phone call from Titan regarding the driver whereabouts. Please keep in mind that I had not received a one signal phone call from Titan throughout this entire time frame.

    Based on this, I left a review on the BBB, FMCSA, and the Amercian Moving and Storage Association about the lack of service I had received from Titan Moving and Storage. After leaving my review, I called Titan Moving and Storage and was able to speak with someone from the company. He proceeded to tell me that if I did not remove the review, he would cancel my pickup and of course, the deposit is non-refundable. I repeatedly informed the rep that I was not requesting to have my contract terminated but wanted a good estimated pickup date and time for the driver. However, because I refused to remove the review, he told me my order was canceled and immediately disconnected our call.

    The practices of this company are completely fraudulent and if you go to the DOT (Department of Transportation) webpage, it will give you red flags to look for when searching for moving companies. Any true customer that has used this service would agree with me that Titan Moving and Storage Van Lines Corp operated within the parameters of the red flags that were mentioned. Lesson learned..I should have dug a little dipper before placing a deposit of $922.25 with this company and agreeing to allow them to move me.

    The rep of the company that manages customer feedback will probably try to discredit my post based on every response he gave the other low rated reviews. Potential movers, please be informed that all positive reviews don't carry the same weight as you would hope. Please look at public stories of this company on Facebook -- true stores that end up on the news. I will be contacting more people regarding this unfortunate situation. Again, please dig very deep when searching moving companies and stay away from Titan Moving and Storage Van Lines Corp (Legal DOT name) -- you've been warned.

  4. Experience prior to move has been horrible. Stress, harrassment, etc.

    The experience with Titan Movers and Storage has been like Bizarro World. We want to share our factual experience. No exaggerations.

    After having a terrible time finding someone to talk with after we have Titan our deposit/money, we had to get the BBB involved, and then the DOT. We did this after repeated attempts to contact Titan's staff, including Kelly, Brendan, and the president.

    To this day, we can't get anyone to get us in touch with the president/owner. They tell us to write to their 'info' E-mail address, but we've tried repeatedly.

    Finally, Titan received word of the complaints and saw our previous review, we received two antagonistic calls yesterday.

    One was from Ben Wilson, their paralegal, who spent 20 minutes telling us he could give us our money back, but wasn't going to do so.

    Ben said he's the only one to make that happen, and it won't happen -- painfully telling us how it's going to play out when we go to court and lose.

    He laughed at us -- letting us know he had a ton of experience in legal matters and that the contract would not allow us our money back. He was highly antagonistic and arrogant. We were shocked at his behavior, after explaining we had no confidence in the company, were unhappy customers, and just wanted our hard-earned money back so we didn't have to be in touch with them again.

    The next call happened at 9 o'clock last night. Their internet/marketing director, Alex, called to say he read the review, wanted "resolution" (a word he used no less than 20 times), but that we had to remove our review. He first pretended not to know our names, but then let us know he has all of our personal information from our file.

    Alex proceed to let us know that he owns 58% of the company, and that he wanted us to take down our review on MyMovingReviews.com and come to a resolution. He then proceeded to tell my partner that he couldn't take him seriously because of his last name, that he would not give us our deposit back (even though the company is having a banner year, and could easily re-book our reserved date).

    Alex told us he already paid the people involved in getting us to sign up for the move, and that we would only be able to negotiate with us once the review was removed. Basically, he is holding our money hostage. It was an exhausting call that lasted over 45 minutes, in which Alex repeated himself over and over again.

    Alex made several strange statements, including telling us, out of the blue, about his child's illness out of the blue to garner sympathy. He rambled on about 'Making America Great Again,' and how the terrible experiences customers reported were just a fraction of all of their moves.

    The calls from Ben and Alex just added to our stress about the situation, leaving me with a throbbing headache and nearly sleepless night. How can they just want to keep people's money like this? Who would want to do business with a company that ignores you until you make a formal complaint, and then antagonizes you?

    Thank you to those who reached out already. Let's definitely share stories before they take down our honest, factual reviews.

    My partner and I have decades of experience dealing with contractors and vendors. This has been the most bizarre and negative experience that we can remember.

    If they are in the business of keeping other people's money, we should indeed share notes and experiences to see if we can move this forward.

    WE DON'T WANT OTHERS TO GO THROUGH THIS. Moving is stressful enough. Once we realized the kind of people and company we were dealing with, we knew we made a mistake.

    Instead of recognizing an unhappy customer and trying to make things right, they're using 'strong-arm' tactics to get us to accept them keeping our money and to get us to take down our review.

    We cannot believe a professional company would continue to ignore our bad experiences and contribute to them like this. We are so sorry we ever tried using their services. It has been a nightmare.

  5. Thieves at Titan Moving And Storage.

    Attempting to do business with Titan Moving and Storage is the biggest mistake that I've made in recent history. Not only did they not completely fail to show up to complete the move that they contractually agreed to complete, but their total lack of professionalism caused me to scramble to facilitate my own move in less than 24 hours.

    Everything started out ok with Titan Moving and Storage; however, once I remitted payment for the $1085 deposit they stopped responding.

    They did not show up during the 48 hour period of time that they quoted me in their contract and did not bother proactively communicating with me that they would not be completing the move. I had to reach out 10+ times to their unresponsive customer service team to be told (very rudely) that they would not be coming. This very very very rude representative also refused to give me a refund for the $1085 deposit that I made to them even though they are in breach of contract.

    This utter lack of professionalism caused me to have to move myself. so not only did they steal my money but they also caused me to have to rent a very expensive moving truck, pack myself, hire people to help me load/unload, and spend 48 hours driving myself across the west coast.

    THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL SCAM. Please don't fall for how bad they are because they will ruin your life and steal from you just like what they did to me.

    This move was done pretty well. I am not upset actually very pleased that there was no damages to any of my stuff. I don’t write reviews but I feel that they did a job well enough to get my advice. Thank you Titan.

    Jon was very helpful and the process went smooth. I really wish I could've moved with Titan but my job wanted me to stay in this position (with a raise) so I didn't have to move. I will recommend you all to anyone, I just wish I could say more. they were great and a pleasure to deal with.

    I don’t understand. I had a great experience and I hope that people understand that I was so skeptical about using a moving company. When I chose to use Titan they were great on the phone for sales, the customer service was so helpful, and then the movers were beyond polite. I hope that if I have to move again that they help me the same way. Thank you tTitan.

    You all did such a good job with my move. I told you what I needed to make this happen and Titan did everything on that end to accommodate that. Things were very busy with the holiday coming and Titan was the one company that when I needed them to talk somebody was always available. The dispatch woman called and told me exactly when the movers would be there. They came did a quick survey when they arrived and loaded the truck piece by piece. The estimate price I agreed to did not change at any point during the move and that’s all thanks to my moving expert. He made sure there was no variables and we went over all the pieces I was responsible for. It was well planned , the company communicated and the movers were respectful and I’m very happy thank you.

  11. Worst moving company EVER!!

    I agree with the other lady this company is the worst in answering the phone you have to call at least 10 times & has an excuse for everything. My move was scheduled 2 months in advance the day before the move the warehouse manager Tyler claims the truck broke down & they don’t have other trucks available 4 backup & they maybe a day late. He never calls on move day (Saturday)even though in the system another person says it’s showed a move time from 3-5 pm. Then the next day no call until late he says they got another truck but then no materials. On Monday the manager Ben Wilson acts like he will take care of everything & promises the truck will come today. As I had to be out the place 2 days ago so new tenants could move in, once again no one never showed & Ben didn’t call back like he advised twice that day before he left. A guy w/a weird number claims to be the driver w/a different name than I was given by mgr Ben said he told corporate this morning he couldn’t make the pickup & he didn’t know why they said otherwise. This was from their driver!! At this point I don’t believe they will ever come & I had to find another moving company last minute. I will get a lawyer involved about my deposit because it has been past 48hrs & they didn’t uphold the terms of the contract in picking up my stuff. And because it’s so hard to reach anyone if they take your stuff I wouldn’t trust they would ever deliver the items. Don’t waste your money or time this company is a rip off. Already reported the incident to the BBB & I’m contacting my friend who works for the DOT in D.C. We as customers do have rights.

    The negative review below "exposing frauds" is 100% accurate, so thankfully I don't need to go into that detail of this complete scam of a Company.

    Trust me I went down the DOT# 2910112 (going from 55 trucks 39 drivers to 1 truck 1 driver on 6/27 and several years before), Frontline Vanlines, Fadwa Ojyli, 50 BEEKMAN ST BLOOMFIELD, NJ (which is a house that was foreclosed on in march), fake comments, rabbit holes.

    I just want to share my story to help others. I truly believe I was a lucky one in this situation as we ended up get our belongings this weekend.. Of course there were several broken items including a large tv ($1000). We’ll be filling a claim with the Company, if we can ever get ahold of them!

    ISSUE 1: under quoted and forced to pay more on the spot

    In summary, we were originally quoted $2800 and it ultimately ended up being $5625 for our move. We’ve asked the company for transcripts of our calls. But essentially, the sales person over the phone, Edward, states that he never ever under sales/quotes anyone and if anything we’ll be getting money back (ha!). We went through our entire apartment over the phone with him, being very conservative (we even called back to add additional boxes to make sure we had enough capacity on the truck). They told us someone was going to come out to our apartment a day or two before pickup to ensure we had correct capacity, not the case.

    On move day (we'll get to more details later), of our 69 items on the inventory/packing list only 40 or so made it on the truck before we met the storage capacity, not even the couch made it that was on the original packing list! The contractor in Chicago told us this happens almost all the time with their (Titan) clients, being under quoted then charged for additional capacity on the spot.

    ISSUE 2 - Lies about being "our own truck" per the company website and over the phone

    We were told, by Edward, they do not use contractors and that they use their own trucks. Essentially Bob picks up your items, Bob drives your items, Bob delivers your items.. This is the entire reason why we selected Titan for our move! This wasn’t the case for both pick up and interstate transport/drop off. They were contractors on both ends with unmarked trucks when the company told us they do everything themselves. To the point where one contract hired a guy of the street in front of our apartment building for $13/hr to help with the move in - ridiculous!

    ISSUE 3 - They were impossible to get ahold of over the phone and via email!

    You would have to call a hundred times and act like you wanted a quote to speak to anyone.

    My one positive is Delilah, she was the one person that gave me hope during this process. Delilah please leave this company and find a better place of employment - you deserve better!

    ISSUE 4 - Watch out for delivery dates!

    So our items were delivered within the 21 day move period per the contract. But getting back to my friend Edward in Sales, he made it seem like you would be getting your items on the FAD (first available delivery) date. Almost like we would get it the day after.. but be careful, that's essentially when they will start moving your items.

    The fake reviews on both moving websites (including this one) and the BBB were the cherry on top.

    It is just sad that "they" will shut down Titan and start another shell company and continue this moving scam..

    Go local, or do the move yourself.

    This was a good move that we experienced. Overall we are happy. There was very little to complain about. Paul led us through the entire process and made sure the picture would be painted for us come move day. Everything we were told would happen, did happen. The movers were in uniform and the truck really did say Titan on it. I was skeptical at first and so was my wife, but they did a good job. I will use them again, should we have to move again. It was a bit overwhelming having to get my kids into new schools, doctors, and friends but it all worked out in the end. Much appreciated Paul and all the staff at Titan who made sure we were safe and happy. The process was not too expensive. We could’ve saved some money but we didn’t have time because my job wanted me out there immediately. Thank you again Titan for the move and the short notice turn around.

    This was by far the easiest move yet. I move all the time and I had no issues what so ever this time. I am thrilled with the overall execution that these men put into making this go flawlessly perfect. I recommend using Titan to anyone moving.
