  1. Rip off by top movers

I don't understand how this company can take my money and give me a living nightmare in return Evil. I earned every dollar stolen from me honestly . top country movers reps stole money lied and lied including joey no integrity no morals no repercussions I want need and deserve my money back was told last call to them we don't have your money stop calling i want justice

  2. Pigs

I cannot even express adequately in words how horrible this company is! The women that work there are nothing more than hags and liars. One of them actually was so outrageous to swear on her unborn child that she was telling me the truth about why my daughters items has still not arrived in a timely manner! They are disgusting and deplorable people. We could never even contact the broker. We went with a police officer over to “their location” only to find out that it’s a dummy office in Deerfield Beach. I understand that people need a job but I could never imagine being such a low life that I would work for people that I knew that were prevaricator‘s and had no souls. They lost my daughter’s items. She has had to sleep on an air mattress for over a month because they kept telling her her stuff was coming and it never did. They don’t care, they never called back. These women and I use the term women loosely it should be harpies have made lying an art form and their profession.

  3. Delay after delay after delay

Supposedly our trailer was headed to Florida the 30th. I've called them twice a week since the estimated delivery date of the 10th. We've gotten a different fucking excuse for why we don't have our stuff every time we call.

Today, Top Country said according to the brokered movers dispatch center, they still have deliveries to make ahead of ours and we won't see our stuff until after the first of the year.

If you use movers, make sure it's not through a shitty broker. Hire someone direct or do it yourself.

  4. Worst ever

    PLEASE READ THIS!!!!!!

USE THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK!! There prices kept changing every time they call, be mindful when they are doing inventory, I told them my TV is 7P inches they put it down for 42inches, they make it sound less but when they a final inventory they will be changing the size and weight of your household goods that increase your payments the last minute, when they know for sure you can't do much due to time left for your move. My stuff were broken and some missing. They either pick up late or drop off late NEVER THE SCHEDULED TIME!!. I ignored other people reviews and I come to regret, please don't ignore this , I would hate to see other people go through what I want through. Please be advised!!

  5. Not reputable.

Never pay an upfront deposit. You’ll never get your money back. I was given an estimate for my 86 year old mother’s move on a Friday and was given 48 hours to cancel. After reading horrible reviews and weeks before her anticipated move date I tried to cancel.

My cancellation request was denied and they refused to return my $1227 deposit. I have since moved Mom and have no intention of moving long distance again. Any reputable company would have credited the money back. Obviously Top Country is desperate. They have no qualms about keeping money for literally nothing.

  6. Company shouldn’t be in business!

Save yourself from broken and missing belongings. Not a trusting Co! Employees lie & hike up prices and can’t even deliver around the time they promise. Tried to file a claim with their insurance and was told by the insurance co they don’t cover them. I’ve tried reaching out to them and “get disconnected” they don’t answer email questions.

  7. Horrible scam of a company!

The service seemed to start off smoothly and professionally.Although made it a hassle as well as strange that the company required we pay them $800 in CASH to pick up the material. When they picked up the material, they tried to charge us an extra $1200 on top of the $3000 quote we received from them all for 10 regular size boxes. $1,000 for 10 boxes. We decided to have those extra 10 boxes shipped since it would be way cheaper.

Well, a few weeks passed and we had not heard a word back from the company on when our stuff would arrive. The company kept saying it would be soon but could not give us a time frame. 2 months had passed by and we still did not receive our stuff. We requested that the company just drop our stuff off at the place they picked it up (we were in FL and our stuff was in TN sitting in a friends garage prior to pick up.) The company was extremely rude about it and stated that they would give us the $800 refund but they could not refund us the $1,000 for the deposit. I am not sure what company or person would think that someone would be okay not getting a $1,000 refund for a service that was never received. They stated that it was a third party that handled the deposit so it was out of their control. I disputed the charge with my bank and was able to win the dispute. Unfortunately, I am unable to get my $800 back since it was paid in cash.

LASTLY, when I got back to TN to grab my stuff, I was informed that the 10 boxes that we opted out for them not to take, the DID take them. And when going through all my stuff, there were many boxes missing. I am unsure of what stuff is currently missing because it was a bunch of small stuff and I dont realize it is missing until I am looking for it and cant find it.

When trying to reach out to the company, they are extremely disrespectful and will hang up on me. Unfortunately, the company is out of Texas so I am unable to speak to anyone in person.

ANYONE PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE SCAM. They lie and steal and will deny everything. Please save your money, time and a massive headache.

  8. Worst experience ever from a moving company

Please do not hire them for your moving needs. I normally read a company's reviews before hiring them, but their representative Jonathan S had such a good pitch that I was like OK, sure let me give them a shot. First off, let me start off by saying, they are not a moving company, they do not own trucks. They contract with trucking companies. The trucking company that they contracted with for my move, Allied moving moving LLC is a joke, just like this company is. I should've known, when they didn't give me an exact date of when the trucking company would arrive to pick up my things. But still, me being the type of person that I am, I wanted to give them a chance. I went against my better judgement. The trucking company arrives to my house within the date range that I was given. They doubled the price of what I was quoted from what Jonathan S from Top Country told me. I was quoted $2,808, which $1180 deposit was made on my credit card. When Allied Moving groip LLC arrived, not to be confused Allied van lines, the guy showed me the space in the truck that I paid for was so small and that for the amount of things I had, would go past 2 beams, which happens to be $1,000 for each beam. So Allied moving group LLC, took possession of my things on August 8, 2021, it is now October 4, 2021 and I still do not have my belongings. I was fist told by Top Country Moving, that my belongings would be delivered within 2-10 business days. I called the first week to see where are my things, per Rachel at Top Country, they have up to 10 business days. Every time I called Top country the business days kept going up. Finally I decided to contact the trucking company, finally someone answers the telephone from Allied for me hear the same nonsense. Then their is the excuse of Hurricane Ida hitting the New Jersey area. My thing is my things should've been on their way down to Florida way before Ida hit. I was not under the impression, that when the actual trucking company came to pick my belongings up, that they were putting them in storage. I believed that, once my belongs were loaded on the truck, that they were headed down to Florida. So if you are looking for a true long distance moving company, Top country is not it

  9. *********DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY*********

I believe I was the victim of a well-choreographed fraud scheme perpetrated by Top Country Moving LLC 702 S Military Trail Deerfield Beach, FL 33442-3025 and NEA Vanlines LLC 2321 Kennedy Blvd Ste 210 North Bergen, NJ 07047-2069.

The 2 companies appear to work in conjunction as Top Country Moving LLC acts as the online Broker that unbeknownst to the customer sub contracts the move out to NEA Vanlines LLC.

In the end the $4039.11 move ended up costing me $9,339.11 with $5300.00 of that paid in extortion fees.

About half way through the packing up process the NEA supervisor at our house tells us that we are going to go past the Cubic feet and box count number that Top Country Moving LLC quoted us and he would need an additional $3800.00 from us to continue the move. We asked how this is possible and it was the NEA driver that told me that Top Country Moving LLC’s computers were under some sort of “Ransomware hack” and the relocation specialist Austin Carey did the calculations manually and made a mistake.

We immediately called Top Country Moving LLC that told us that they are not responsible if we go over our quoted box count and that they are merely the broker and we would have to deal with NEA directly. Our 2 choices at that moment was to either cancel the move and lose our $1,724.00 deposit we gave to Top Country Moving (and to postpone our entire move process well as my job transfer start date of Oct 1st) OR pay NEA Vanlines this extortion money of $3800.00 right there on the spot

  10. DO NOT USE THEM!

Took over 40 days to get my items and once I received them EVERYTHING was damaged!!! I didn’t receive half my things! I was harassed by two men to sign a document that I received all my items and legit had to threaten to call the cops to get them to leave!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! They are complete scammers!!!!

  11. Thieves and Criminals

I've already filed complaints with 2 federal agencies they fall under. These people contracted out my move to a company they clearly didn't vet, and we ended up with $5000 worth of goods that were either "lost" or damaged beyond repair. Our goods looked like they were handled like a football. A lot of it was smashed, scuffed, scraped, stained, or simply had critical pieces broken off. While creating a list of the items that never made it, I noticed something suspicious: everything that I couldn't find was more valuable than the overwhelming majority of items that made it to our home. The movers that picked up our goods wrote some of the most illegible chicken scratch I've ever seen when annotating what was being loaded in the truck, so I have no way of even proving what did and didn't make it because no one can read the list they made. They increasingly charged me more money every step of the way. I was originally quoted a little over $4000. By the end of it I was paying about $7000. The movers that dropped off my goods refused to offload the truck unless I paid them in cash. I didn't have over $2500 in cash, so I had to pay the rest through Zelle directly to one of the movers. None of this sounds like a legitimate or legal business practice. I will likely never see any of that stuff they lost again, and a lot of it was tactical equipment, uniforms, and gear that I've acquired over a 10-year army career.

  12. Never showed up

If I could give them a zero star I would. They called on Wednesday and said they would meet us on Thursday from 10-2. Never showed up and when we called we were told not to get an attitude they were doing their best and they would meet us on Friday between 1-3 and would call an hour before. At 2:30 no call so we called and were told they were in an accident and the driver already spoke to us and we agreed to meet the next day. We were staying out of state and leaving on Saturday and never spoke to anyone. So they clearly broke their contract and we would have never known if we didn’t call. They said they would TRY to get our refund. They better do more then try.

  13. Worst experience ever

This was the most upsetting across the country moving experience I could have ever thought I would have

In Boston (drop-off) location, I was told three times that my stuff would be delivered. Two times, I had to leave my hospital shift, and my stuff did not arrive. Not only that, but I was not even called to be informed that the my belongings would not be delivered.

Even worse was the conduct by the delivery men that came with the USA logistics company and my belongings. After I gave one of them the money, in cash, that was owed on my contract, he proceeded to tell me “it will be $500 for me to drop your stuff at your place.” I confirmed with him whether that was in addition to what I had just given him, to which he said “Yes.” I asked for the money back, and called the dispatcher and put him on speaker so that the delivery man could hear him as well. According to the delivery person, the extra charge was due to a “long run” that he had to do in order to deliver my stuff. I asked the concierge at my building to let them in through the front door so that no extra fees where required.

At this point, I had zero trust in this delivery man, understandably. When I told him that I would finish paying him after delivery was over, he proceeded to yell at me and curse me (dispatcher was still on the phone and heard it all). I had to pay him without knowing whether he was going to unload my belongings or not, and after he had yelled and cursed at me. I felt absolutely targeted, as an immigrant Latina woman who was on her own, by these 3 men, especially the one in charge. Had I not fought for my rights, I would have been ripped off. As an immigrant, at first I was charismatic with these men (2 of them where from Jordan, and I was pleased to know that more immigrants are given the chance to work and help others). But I never expected that this delivery would result in such an upsetting experience where I had to argue and fight with people (considering how expensive this service was) so that they would not charge me even more money that was not justified; basically, I had to argue and fight as to not be ripped off.

It was extremely saddening that I trusted this company for this move, only to have my belongings delivered by people without any sense of character and honesty.

If you need to move, move your stuff yourself by driving it even if you rent a u-haul, or simply ship it via USPS.

I place one-star, but they do not deserve even half of a star for this very poor service

  14. Move from Oregon to Arizona

Complete scam..great sales pitch to get you hooked, then they wait until the last minute to send a different company to do the job, at double the price they quoted. Of course there is no contact from them. Due to timeline for moving out of my house, I had no choice and had to settle for a disaster in every respect. Do not use these people, they will use you. They have perfected the art of "bait and switch". The outcome was severely broken and damaged goods. The "movers" were simply day laborers who had little to no experience with the process. This is not a moving company, it is a total sham!!

  15. Top country poor service

I have been waiting for my delivery of items from Virginia to Indiana since last month. I was told it would be 2 weeks to get my items here to my new house. Just got out of the military so I as well know about moves and how much they cost. My first move with 2 kids costed me less than what these guy quoted. I was quoted almost 3 grand with a down payment of like 600$ and they still want more money for poor service and slow delivery.

My wife and I have tried to contact the company multiple times for weight sheets to give to our moving manager for reimbursement we were told nope sorry we can’t do that. They want almost 1000$ when they deliver the items.

Was just told this week that they’re packing our stuff onto another vehicle to bring it to Indiana. We don’t have anything but a bed and boxes and a gaming computer and computer desk. Nothing really more than about 50 boxes a bed and those mentioned items nothing in that truck of ours is heavy or will take long to deliver. Outrageous quote and outrageously slow service.
