WORST COMPANY EVER
I am not sure who has rated this company so high, but after having to deal with them today they are the worst scams in today's society I am honestly not sure how they can sleep at night. I had a move scheduled for today 2 July 21 for an estimated price of $2,840 with 47 items to include my furniture, boxes and so, the movers showed up with hardly any room in the truck told me all they could fit in the"allowed" cubic square ft was my dressers and a few boxes (I told them I had 30 estimated boxes, but actually 26) they tried to uncharge me to $5,205 to include my dressers, ONE mattress not to include the bed frames that was on the estimate( I have two mattress and frames) a couple more boxes and my coffee table, they actually had the NERVE to ASK me what can you LEAVE behind it will be cheaper to buy brand new then move everything... THEY had no room for my furniture, sofa, kids beds(besides ONE mattress) then told me to leave things behind or loose my deposit... it would have cost me probably over $8,000 to move my TWO bedroom apartment if they got another truck that could actually fit more than 7 items even though my original estimate was 47 items... DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY ALL REVIEWS ARE SO RIGHT THEY SCAM YOU ONCE THEY GET TO YOUR HOUSE THEN ARE SO RUDE WHEN YOU HAVE AN PROBLEM WITH THEIR POLICIES. Currently I am out of my deposit but this company WILL not get any more money from me I would rather move myself then let low lives do this.
SCAM
We first booked 6/7/21 with Jason, My husband is in the process of medically separating from the military. Our price was $2800, the movers were suppose to come out the 28/29th of June as that was our requested pick up. We had NO contact with the movers/ company/ anything. Until we started calling. Saturday we called the number given to us and the lady stated that they way under price to get the booking and once the movers come they raise it tremendously. This was our first move without big navy moving us I don’t think I will EVER do it again. I panicked and started selling things after reading some reviews about how they up price everything. The contract i was sent in email states the move was finished on 6/28. On 6/28 we received a phone call from Rachel stating our movers would be here 6/29 between 2-5pm (mind you we have to be out of base housing by the 1st as our flights are that day.) at 4:30 pm we had no contact with the movers. So we called Rachel and asked where they were since we had no contact. She then tells us the truck is delayed and is there any way we can reschedule since it’s not guaranteed and just requested move dates. I said No since those were the dates requested and they failed to contact us I was sketched out to even get them to come. Rachel requested that I cancel the move. I stated no because if I cancel the contract is void you get to keep my deposit but if you cancel I get it back. I asked what the time frame was it’s 3 days by the way. She then called a few more times. Requesting that I canceled and I refused. Within 30 minutes I called my bank and informed them of everything in which she told me to dispute it since it seemed like a scam and they couldn’t prove they ever picked my things up. I Agreed got my deposit back. I got a voicemail from Rachel in a rushed voice saying the movers are available tomorrow morning, and that they could squeeze us in. Right after I get a call from the Mover himself and I told him his services weren’t needed. And he replied so are you canceling? And I didn’t say anything just hung up. (They are VERY adamant on you canceling.) Rachel then called me again and asked if that would work I said no, I wasn’t comfortable using their services so it was not needed. In then she replied “oh so you’re canceling could you just send me that in writing” in which I replied I’m not canceling your services are just not needed. She then got agitated and yelled that’s basically canceling I said OH I’m not canceling. I asked her why my contract I was sent says congratulations on my move when I still have my things? She hung up. I guess they didn’t think I wouldn’t print out my contract. anyways. do not use 100% a scam. The US Dot license says it has been Revoked. What should have been a simple 8 hour flight from CT to TX is now ending in a 30 hour drive.
Great Experience
I can't say enough wonderful things about this company! So professional, so polite, and very skilled in their profession. They take pride in their work, are reasonably priced, and have awesome customer service. They are also problem solvers. I will happily recommend them to anyone!
The moving crew was excellent too.
Six months ago, we used Top country moving. I Googled them, then my wife and I decided to go with them because we saw a lot of good reviews. We had pleasant interactions with the moving coordinator all the time. I was informed if they had delays. The moving crew was excellent too.
The worst experience…. Don’t ever use
I signed contract with this company for moving from KS to AL. They subcontracted the moving to an unknown company without my consent. Icame to know about itwhen I contacted them for delivery date. They never delivered my stuff even after a month of pick up. I am just wondering why there is no proper laws to take actions against these fraud businesses.

My sister and I moved to the MO from MA in November. We enjoyed excellent professional service from the start of the negotiations to the final delivery of our belongings. Their charges are very competitive without compromising service. I can most certainly recommend using Top Country Moving.

Top country moving sent me a card in the mail then I called them up. I told their moving coordinator that I would have everything boxed up so all they had to do was to move the boxes. I also told him how many boxes would be in each room so it was very easy. The crew that we had during the move was excellent. They were moving and talking at the same time. Top country moving did a very good job and I highly recommend them.
Amazing Mover!
The Top Country Moving work fast and accurately. No scratches or any damage on the furniture or walls/floor. They came to the destination address by truck faster than me on Mazda. They arranged everything smoothly. Recommended them to all.

I've used Top country moving multiple times and I used them for my daughter's move to New York City. I had a good experience working with the moving coordinator and the moving crew did everything they needed to do. They were very courteous and very careful. They picked up the stuff, secured it, delivered it, and put it where I wanted them to. Excellent productivity and they did a great job. I get a little concerned about moving companies, but they were awesome. They were A+.

John and Paul could not have been more professional and could not have done a better job. They were courteous, didn't dawdle, and genuinely took care of our possessions as if they were their own. I highly recommend these guys and almost wish I was moving again soon so I could enjoy such a positive experience all over again.

We had a good experience overall and a couple of hundred dollars for the crates wasn't going to make or break us. We’ve also recommended Top country moving to others.

I was very, very happy with the workers that Top country moving sent. I would definitely recommend Top country moving and I'm actually going to be moving again here when my lease is up because I'm not happy with this place, so I am going to be needing another mover. So, I'm going to call them first and see what their price is because I'm sure it's going to be a lot less to move locally.

Their moving coordinator was really helpful. I verbally went through every room and told him what I was taking from every room. He spelled out everything and did everything for me. He told me what I needed to do as far as help in advance and he was really thorough. He guided me through it. Also, the moving crew was excellent. They wrapped everything. Not a single thing broke, dented or scratched. I expected things to break, but nothing did. They exceeded my expectations and if I need a moving company again, they will be the one I would use.
