  1. You Move Me Awesome!

I had to get emergency movers for family in OK. Immediate service for reservation for moving the next morning. Corey and Billy were absolutely great, efficient and so, so helpful. Please call these people!

  2. Moving in Independence.

What a fabulous company! These guys are great from the initial phone call to the move!! Our guys were on time, very professional, excellent at what they do!! I will NEVER move myself again. Why should I when I have the best in the business to do the move for me? Due to terrible circumstances, I had to move on Easter Sunday. I was not charged any extra and managed to get "crew leaders". I cannot say enough about this company. Do not go anywhere else, I know I won't! I can't wait to tell everyone about these guys! Almost forgot, great rates!!

  3. Never ever again!!

I will never use this company EVER again. I called Konner TWICE to confirm the time of 9:30 am as the arrival time. Once on March 31st, and the next on Saturday, April 8th for my appointment on Monday the 10th at 9:30 am. Well on the 10th, 9:30 am came and no crew was there. I called Konner (who by some error in somebody's judgement) happens to be a MANAGER. How this happened, I have no clue. He said he thought the move time was 10:30 am. I said absolutely NOT, I called you twice to confirm the time. On You Move Me's website it says they will call you 48 hours before your move to confirm. They in fact, DO NOT. I reached out to confirm twice, yet they failed to show up on time. They finally arrived at about 10:35 am. When I set up my initial appointment I spoke with Kyle to advise I'd need 8 wardrobe boxes. The crew brought 4. Konner stated when he arrived that he failed to check how many wardrobe boxes were required for the move. They say they "move your clothes for free"!! This in fact is not entirely true. I just had major spinal fusion surgery and had to pack at least 7 wardrobe boxes myself, AND unpack them while one of the crew members stood there and watched me do it. Yes, stood there while I was paying the crew $150 an hour. And another thing I'm upset about is that Konner stayed at my new apartment to set up my reclining sofa while the other 2 crew members and I went back to my old apartment so they could watch me pack more wardrobe boxes that I had initially asked for in the first place. All this time the clock is ticking at $150 an hour. Then Konner shows up at my old apartment to help while leaving my new apartment UNLOCKED!! I was livid. I was told by Kyle when I set up the appointment that I'd receive a $50 coupon discount. I never received it. I received instead a bill for $899 for 5 hours, 2 broken lamps, and other items that I've yet to unpack that are spitting shards of glass out of the bottom of the boxes. If you are considering hiring this company please take my advice and don't. I'm an unemployed disabled woman who did not need this nonsense & stress brought on by this company. Oh and one other thing, Konner left at one point to go and get his crew some drinks, yet the rate was never reduced down to a 2 man crew rate during this time. This company is a rip off !! I wish I could use profanity here, but a bad review will have to suffice.

  4. Great experience.

My husband and I worked with Adam Powell to arrange our local move from Oregon, WI to Deerfield, WI. The crew of two nice, respectful young men arrived on time and worked very hard. I am extremely picky and they answered all my requests with "Yes, Ma'am". They moved several very heavy pieces of furniture with skill and care. I would use the services of You Move Me again for sure!

  5. Best Moving Experience Ever!!

BEST MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER!! Keith and Blain in Westfield were great to work with! I dreaded this move and You Move Me made it less stressful and worry free. First thing in the morning they showed up on time. With a hot coffee for me! They handled my things with special care. Wrapping furniture in blankets. After the move when I couldn't find a metal piece to my bed frame, called them, they found it and delivered it to my new home. With a special milled french soap as a thank you gift! Totally felt taken care of. No issues or complaints. Very professional. I will definitely use them again with my next move. Thank you You Move Me in Westfield, Indiana! I highly recommend their service!

  6. Worst Move Ever!

This is the worst experience I have ever had. The moving company was supposed to come between 12-2PM on Saturday on March 4th. At 2:07PM I received a phone call from a man who stated they were at the Burger King and would be another 45 Mins late. I waited..at 4:10PM I received another phone call from a different man that stated he finished a job in Glenpool (25 mins from my house) and was on his way. They arrived and didn't have any wardrobe boxes even though I had ordered 8 of them. They immediately started complaining about how they did not want to do the job and they were mad about how much stuff I had. The did not pad anything even though I asked multiple times. They ruined MOST of my furniture. I texted with the manager constantly during the move with updates on the damage, and he said they would take care of it. My BRAND NEW $2000 washer/dryer set was scratched all on the front, large dents on the top and sides. I took picture of everything and I was told it would be handled. James the manager came out and took pictures and told me he would replace the washer and dryer. The next day, the owner ANDREW WILSON text with me back and forth. He called my husband and I liars, complainers and that we did not have a legitimate complaint. He said that I could sue him but I wouldn't win and he knows that courts don't do anything. I HAVE THIS IN WRITING!! HE BRAGGED ABOUT HOW COURT DOESN'T ALLOW text messages as evidence. AGAIN, I HAVE ALL THIS IN WRITING. I called the corporate in Canada and while they were nice to me NOTHING WAS DONE. BEWARE ANDREW WILSON is a cheat and does not stand behind his company.

  7. Movers.

Mike and Coda are a terrific team! They were here early, disciplined in their work, and got the job done in a very timely manner. I wasn't sure they could fit the items that were packed into our storage facility but they showed real knowledge in stacking the items so we weren't forced to rent additional space.

Our family would highly recommend 'You Move Me' and particularly the team of Mike and Coda for excellence! We will definitely use them again if the need arises!

  8. Better to move yourself.

The day they came in and moved things out, they were on time and had a full crew. Everything seemed to be going fine. Then the wheels came off. They lost things in storage and the move into a new home was a disaster. I'm still finding things missing. I contacted the local franchise owner repeatedly about an entire plastic bin of holiday decorations either lost or stolen. While the owner told me of efforts he made to locate the bin, he admitted that they could not pinpoint the trucks used to move me and no longer used the storage facility where they had stored my stuff for a mere 2 weeks. His move manager was also in the process of quitting during my move back and no one stepped in to address the service problem. So, I am out about $200-300 in items which cannot be replaced, not counting many broken items and chipped furniture. Sorry, but I cannot recommend using this company. Get some friends and hire a truck, you'll be better off. If you do decide to use this company, make sure you number every box and piece of furniture and check them off as they are moved into your new place. Also put contact information in each box/bin in case it gets lost or delivered somewhere else.

  9. Unforgettable Move.

I used this company on Sept. 29th for a move that was supposed to be a $450.00 move that turned into a $700.00 move and a 3 to 4 hour move that turned into a 7 hour move. They say if it sounds too good to be true..then it is. After looking at and comparing prices with several movers I chose these people. After securing the date I was never contacted by any agent. I contacted them 2 days prior to my move. That should have been a red flag then. The movers were supposed to be there at 8 AM. They call me at 8:05 saying they are stopping for breakfast and will be there shortly. They loaded the truck with no problem. They were following me to the new place and I see them go over to 7-11. They later call me to get the address. I had all my boxes labeled. They did not pay attention to the labels. They put them wherever they wanted to put them. They put the tv directly in front of the computer and the tv stand is sitting there empty with nothing on it. Daequan went out to get tools to put my mirror on the dresser. Billy goes out and tells him that I said they could go. I no longer needed them.I realize they are gone. I called Billy who I had spoken to earlier in the day. He didn't answer his phone. Daequan asked him who was on the phone. Billy replied" oh it's nobody". Then I call the office to find out what's going on. They in turn call the movers. This is when the truth comes to light. Daequan ask Billy what's going on and Billy told him that he lied because it's time for him to go pick up his son and he didn't want to be late. Daequan came back to finish the job alone while Billy was called into the office.. What happened to Billy I don't know but I think he should be fired and I think I am due a portion of what I had to pay due to these shananigans. To this day Oct. 17th 2016 I have not heard from anyone in the company. Most companies would call and apologize and offer something. Not these people. They haven't called to see how the move was..but I guess they really don't have to call when they already know.

  10. Upfront Rates?

The actual service was fantastic, but if you want "UP FRONT AND TRANSPARENT RATES" you are going to be disappointed. I was initially quoted $238 for a 2 hour move which seems fair. However not until after they had moved all of my stuff was I told there was an additional $154 "State Mandated" vehicle fee. You would think that this would be in the quote. I thought I had messed up reading the fine print, which would be fine, I signed the agreement, so I paid. But after they left I went back and reread the agreement and they had marked the vehicle fee as $0 in the initial estimate. So, either they are careless and incompetent or deceptive and trying to underquote and overcharge. They even conceded that they had made a mistake and took $50 off. If I misread something do you really think they would take $50 off the bill? I didn't think so. They admitted multiple times they messed up their quote and I'm still down $104 dollars. Great business you guys are running.

On the positive side, the delivery men were very professional and everything was handled with care and speed.

  11. Buyer Beware.

Do not use this moving service. The first time I used them, they were supposed to show up at 2 pm and instead they did not show up until between 6-7 pm. The move took until 2 am in the morning. I decided a year later to give them another chance, hoping the first move was a fluke. They failed to properly put together my bed frame and supports (they did not even bring the screws and pieces and left the necessary leg supports in the drawer). My bed broke in the middle of the night almost injuring me (and my neck actually hurt for a week afterwards). I now need to replace my entire king size bed set. I have had to sleep on the couch for weeks now because they have refused to get back to me. Their national customer service got back to me quickly, but the local NJ team they put me in contact with failed to get back to me after numerous calls. They finally emailed me yesterday claiming they tried to call me 5 times (my call log shows differently). The woman I spoke with was very rude and combative. I am demanding a full refund. I will never use this company again and will never recommend them to anyone. I strongly recommend that you think twice before hiring this company to move you.

  12. First Time Mover.

This was my first experience with a moving company and I am so glad that it was a very pleasant experience. Thank you Blake. I must have picked the hottest day of the month to move, but you would have never known this by the two young men who were moving my stuff. They were on time and very professional. They made sure I was satisfied before I paid them a penny. I will tell all my friends about "You Move Me", and to request Eli and Allen to move their treasures.

  13. Terrible experience.

Some of the movers showed up drunk, left things they were supposed to move behind, some of them on the driveway. of the old house. Did quite a bit of damage to several pieces of furniture as well as the new home itself. When confronted with the damages, the operations manager William gave a little chuckle, as if to say its no big deal, then left and said he'd get back to me. Never did. Had to call multiple times, and leave multiple messages until I get an email from his manager stating I'm just going to have to deal with it as they do not need to pay me. Really bad customer service throughout the organization, from top to bottom. After reading my review on Yelp General Manager called me, strung me a long a little bit, said he had to meet with the owners, then came back and said "Sorry, there's nothing we can do.".

  14. Perfection.

My movers are Ted and Mikha more than likely I've misspelled Mikha name. But they both arrived together as a team. They were polite we exchanged names as we spoke hands. They had all the wrapping needed to wrap up my sectional sofa. All the machinery and lifters etc to move heavy items. Ted and Mikha are so strong they took apart and carried my heavy sectional by whole sectional parts as If it was a thin paper towels. Nothing fall. Nothing got broken. Just friendly smiling faces. They had a smile on their faces the whole time of moving all my things to the point Mikha was grabbing things that I was going to take to the trash. And I had to intervene letting him know you don't have to take that I will take it. Ted and Mikha work perfect together as if they work with each other on a regular basis because they had every step and move on what the other wore to do as if they rehearsed this a thousand times. I love this moving company. My movers were done before the 2 hour slot . If you need moving definitely ask for two guys at You Move Me. They were perfect.

  15. Excellent Job.

On Monday February 1, 2016 we had the privileged of using this wonderful moving company. The movers Sam and Matt did an excellent job of of wrapping carefully and moving our items to Mequon. They were very courteous and pleasant. They were very efficient and careful in moving the furniture and clothes. I especially enjoyed the garment boxes used to move our clothes.

They made sure everything was attached as far as the chair and tables, they cleaned up after themselves.

Hopefully I will never have to move again, but if I do I will be using this company.

    Cheryl and David Britt.
