1. Excellent Experience.

   I have had horrible experiences with moving in the past but this actually went really well. My pick up was approximately 30-45 minutes later than the window of time they stated. However, once there, all three movers set to work immediately. They talked me through every step of the process as they went, letting me know if any items were damaged prior to their wrapping them and placing them on the truck. They did a survey of my entire apartment first to determine if additional costs  would occur. As I've come to expect, there were some unanticipated costs. However, I had more to move than my relative had explained to them when she set up the appointment and they were very forthright about this. They were professional, clean, and efficient throughout the move. Other than one or two plates, I have not noticed any significant damage to any of my items. They broke down and set up my platform bed which is more than any other moving company has been willing to do in the past. All in all, I had a very pleasant moving experience. I would use this company again in the future and feel confident in their transport of my things.

2. Late arrival, poor communication, broken agreement.

   It took 30 days to receive my items. I had to call 15-20 different times to get updates, and my calls were NEVER returned. Just getting someone on the phone was extremely difficult, and when you did finally reach someone, they would tell you that someone would call you right back and then never would. This happened almost every day for a month. They also agreed to make a second stop to pick up some additional items on the way. After 3 weeks of no communication, they refused to pick up the additional items. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. EVEN IF THEY OFFER YOU A VERY GOOD RATE, USE SOMEONE ELSE.

3. Unprofessional.

   From the moment contract was signed, moving forward with the move process was extremely unprofessional.  I was charged more money at pick up even though I had a binding estimate.   We presented a bank certified check for the final amount owed at delivery and the driver demanded  an extra $75 for what he determined to be more "stairs".  In his mind a flight of stairs consisted of seven (7) steps.  There is no legal definition of what a set of stairs consists of.  We had ten (10) stairs that he had to climb, one flight.  He threatened both myself (over the phone) and my 18 year daughter repeatedly saying that he would leave with her furniture unless he received the exra cash.  He had no regard for the contract. He was suppose to assemble her furniture and he did not, stating that he did not know how to do it.  His behavior was unruly and unprofessional, not to  mention threatening. Some boxes were crushed with broken items inside.  I have attempted to contact CLS and they have chosen to ignore me.    .
