1. They did it.

   Moving is hard. Moving a family is challenging. Unexpectedly moving a family across the country is near impossible, but with the help of Cross Country, we did it.

2. Local Move.

   They worked timely and helped move all of my stuff quickly. There were no damages to any of my personal items. Price was well worth the service. I am grateful to have used them as I was on a short deadline. The movers were professional and handle everything with care. I would recommend them to others.

3. Hard to trust.

   They promise that the price provided in the quote won’t increase in the moving day like “other companies do” as they say. Guess what? When the movers came, they charged me almost $700 more for things like “you have an elevator and there is a fee for that”. “More than 10 steps from the elevator” another Fee. Very unfair. Another problem is the estimated time to Deliver the move. They said one to 10 days, movers said it can take months. Finally, they said I could pay with credit card and movers said they only accept checks. Really frustrating.
   
   Movers were very polite and organized. The problem is in the management not the movers.

4. Caring, professional movers.

   My husband was in the hospital when we were scheduled to move so I was really panicking about not having his help. Looking back now, I am so grateful we chose Cross Country Moving Group. They have the kindest, most hardworking group of movers! I've dealt with other movers who were careless with furniture, scratching up walls and doorways, but these guys were awesome! They were prepared to handle anything and they were true professionals. Next time I move, which hopefully won't be anytime soon, I will definitely use them again. Honestly, this was the least stressful move I've ever had!

5. Moving.

   Eric said, "I guarantee there will be NO SURPRISES in charges at any time." Packers finished, total was $350. more. Eric referred me to customer service saying "they'll take care of it." She claimed extra charge was for changing trucks but said twice she didn't know who made the change. She immediately contacted driver who said he had to change to smaller truck. I was lied to by all 3. Eric's promise didn't happen, she did know who made the truck change and driver's claim of needing smaller truck was a HUGE lie. My house is 3700 square feet and is one of the smallest in this lake community. Huge moving trucks are here regularly so driver saying he had to change to smaller truck because of my neighborhood was simply ludicrous! Have sent out notification to my community to NEVER use this company.

6. Took Care of Everything.

   I recently moved from Seattle to NV and Cross Country made everything smooth. Took care of the small details so I didn't have to worry. Overall, I would highly recommend them.

7. Worst company for a move

   I hired this company to move my son. Was quoted 1 price and when the movers arrived was told we would have to pay more than what was quoted because the company never called to get the exact items being moved. They pretty much told my son if he wanted his furniture he would have to pay the difference. The furniture was stored in a unit for 5 days and the company hired a 3rd party to deliver. Once again had to pay cash or money order to receive his furniture or it would not be delivered. So our 1200.00 quote turned into 1800.00. We also had damaged furniture and of course we don't hear back from the company. Horrible customer service and as they claim they are backed by the BBB that is a a lie. Don't believe what they say.
   
   If I could have moved my son myself I would have but because of Covid I trusted this company. Nothing but scammers.

   

8. Best movers around!

   I recently moved across the country and was stressed out about finding movers I could trust. The guys at Cross Country Moving Group exceeded my expectations. They were gentle with my belongings and were a dream to work with. I would definitely recommend them for your next move!

9. Liars.

   This was the worst move I have ever experienced. They called almost daily until I gave them a 50% deposit then never heard from them unless I called and was lucky enough to get them to answer. They charged me almost $1,200.00 more than quoted. they told me 1-5 days for delivery then driver said 24-48 hours after 3 days they then said 1-8 days but actually took 14 days for a 350 mile move in the same state. When my things finally arrived there was only one person to unload my things. This company subcontracted with ABC trucking based out of Illinois, which makes no sense because the pick up was in Colorado and so was the delivery. They threatened to block my calls and to charge me storage fees if I was not able to except delivery when they scheduled the it. That charge was going to be almost $1,000.00. The customer service was TERRIABLE, RUDE AND UNCARING. When my things did finally arrive there were several items broken but why make a claim since they only pay 60 cents per pound. IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER CHOICE TO HIRE TO MOVE YOU HIRE THEM BECAUSE THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST EVER AND SHOULD CLOSE THEIR BUSINESS.

    I am so glad I chose the Cross Country Moving Group! Moving across multiple states is hard enough, let alone being worried about having a reliable company to move (and keep) your things staying in one piece while you do it. This company DELIVERED… my belongings, PLUS great service. I couldn’t be happier with this experience. I will be sure to tell everyone I know to use this company. Between the care for my things and the quality of the service provided (they were on time and answered all of my questions quickly- much appreciated). Thank you!

11. I give them a 10/10!! Amazing Service!!

    I'm so glad I found this place, I didn't have to be stressing out over so many things that could go wrong when I started moving to Memphis! They helped me with managing exactly what time I needed to get certain things done and when I want my furniture to arrive. I don't I ever been in a moving company where they help you find a reasonable prices that matches up with what you can afford! And the movers! You can never find any other mover that knows what they're doing and can handle specific furniture so delicately, literally I'm so happy that none of my stuff got damaged! All in all, I would really recommend this moving company to anyone, you won't regret it!

12. Bullies and thieves.

    They broke my furniture, upcharged me despite the fact that I actually has LESS stuff then I declared during the estimate, they made racist comments and they stole more than $2000 of vintage video games from the collection I've spent the last 15 years building.

13. Movers Who Care for Their Customers.

    The Cross Country Moving Group has been a phenomenal help to both my extended family and myself. Recently, my father-in-law’s health took a turn for the worse, which required extreme house renovations to make his home more accessible. We called Cross Country Movers to move his stuff into my garage while renovations were underway. Not only did they exhibit great customer service, but they handled his belongings with care. Their service was so great we hired them when everything had to be moved back in. To anybody in need of movers dedicated to their craft, look no further.

14. Do Not Use This Company.

    This company has been nothing but heartless the moment after they received our deposit. Kyler Douglas, Steven ? And the “Office manager/customer service rep” have been rude and gave us nothing but false expectations. Once the movers came inside my home, they doubled the original price discussed (FYI The people you’re talking to at Cross Country moving group are sales agents not the actual movers). They kicked a few of my items around, all they cared about was us signing their contract and getting CASH. They are leasing the job out to a third party. DO NOT TRUST THEM!! TRUST THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. I WISH I DID!! I’m in my new home with NOTHING..I was told I won’t receive my items until next week maybe. No pots or pans, no bed for my baby to sleep on..my husband and I work from home but our computers are on the truck smh. This was a very stressful and unpleasant experience. The kids homeschooling items on that truck.

    Kyler was so RUDE, he started out by insulting the Hispanic movers, telling my husband and I “it’s their accents that you can’t understand that’s why things are messed up”. They doubled the “promotion rate” and Kyler said “you can take it or tell them to leave your home”. It felt so cold and heartless. This is a BIG move and it’s not easy with three small children.
    
    Kyler Douglass refuses to call or email me back to address my concerns. Their “office manager/customer” was super rude as well. She said “you won’t get your belongings until next week” even though we were told it would be Wednesday 10/7, in the beginning. They will take your money and treat you like crap, they know moving is an emotional process. No one apologized for being misleading or rude but I hope after reading this review you RUN!

15. Great Moving Company!

    Cross Country Moving Group helped me out so much with moving. I just moved from FL to TN and had no way of getting my heavy furniture to my new place. This moving group delivered my furniture safe and sound and at a reasonable price too! I highly recommend this company for their amazing services and would definitely share with family and friends.
