Never got our item.
We only shipped one item from Quebec to BC ..what could possibly go wrong!! They promised two weeks to wait..we waiting a whole month so to give them time but when we inquired only ..the agent in Quebec was nice but EMRY in BC was rude and started swearing to us and told us that he would throw our stuff away if we called one more time..but the reason we were trying to get the item before the month end is that we were planning our own move and to facilitate matters for all.. as they could not find us at the original address to make final payment on delivery..well its over a month now and we still did not get the item..I think they sold it or asked a junk removal company to pick it up..they lost the final payment and we lost our item..!! I WISH WE COULD CHOOSE NO STARS!!
Absolutely Terrible.
If I could give this company no stars, I would. My stuff was already disassembled and probably would've taken less than 30 minutes to move. I was told they would arrive between 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Come 8:00 PM I asked again for an update, and was told it would be another hour, which I could not be home for. The person I was dealing with, named Levent, then said that the movers are tired and questioned why I couldn't wait just an hour. I answered it's been 8 hours, to which he said "look for someone else, bye." They operate terribly in all aspects, and I would urge everyone to find better options..it won't be too hard.

I hired this company months prior to my move anticipating the busy season. I have moved several times both domestically and internationally. Despite repeated attempts to obtain a contract, or any documentation indicating the specifics of my move I continue to be blown off and ignored. Repeated voicemail messages with no return calls. I just connected with a representative of the company working out of the main office looking for assistance as my move is only days away. He again said I needed to wait an additional day to speak with someone else. I stressed how this is not acceptable. His response was to find a new moving company. Moving is stressful enough, do not hire this company.

MY STUFF NEVER ARRIVED!
I hired this company to move me from toronto to atlanta. Guaranteed shipping was from the 5th of July to the 10th of July.. As stated on my contract.
I started calling on the 8th to get an update only to be blown off over and over and told wait another day and we will update you. I am in a house with nothing in it.. for weeks now waiting..
It is now the 16th.. I am getting very ambiguous answers calling everyday with no clear date of delivery and just being lied to over and over.. I keep getting blown off and given attitude. I don't know exactly where my goods are even.. I have to now pursue legal action against the company.
I am forced to hire a different moving company.. go to the warehouse where trans atlas is holding my goods and then have a new company move it.
To be very clear.. they have tens of thousands of dollars of my goods with no date of delivery offered and we are a week past the guaranteed date..
My floors were also severely damaged in the move as well..
Worst Move Ever!!
Our recent move from Ontario to Nova Scotia was truly our worst move ever! Since we have moved 27 times - including a few overseas moves - I would say we are experienced! The scam the moving companies have going the instant your driveway isn't short and straight, is just ridiculous. We moved into our house in Ontario in 2010 and had a double moving van backing into our long, but straight driveway. Not possible according to TransAtlas, we need shuttles. The problem here is that you can watch them load the shuttles, but you cannot watch them unload from the shuttles to the moving van. So first they charge you an extra $2,000. for the shuttles and then when you get to the other end, and you watch them unload, you realize that the word 'fragile' does not mean a thing to them and your furniture means even less. Boxes, many marked fragile were upside down and thrown around, resulting in many of our fragile items were broken. Our solid oak dining room table had large scratches and gouges, our teak bedroom set large scratches and gouges. A massive unwillingness to help at the unloading end, made this whole experience even more stressful. This would truly be the very last company I would ever recommend. Besides the fact that from the original quote of $4,500. the whole moved cost us $11,500. Just disgusting. Neither the broker who set this move up, nor the company is responding to any e-mails. Terrible, terrible service all around.
Moved furniture for me from Montreal to Palm Beach Florida.
The internal TRANSATLAS team was very professional and responsive to my needs; the timelines to pick up and drops off my furniture was as promised; the driver who managed the delivery of my items / furniture was very professional, well organized and ensured all was brought into my condo unit properly without damaging anything. He was also very proactive and friendly. This is the second time that I use TRANSATLAS and highly recommend them.

Reliable movers.
Transatlas helped us to move during Quebec moving rush end of June. They were our saver last minute. Our arangements fell through. We called them midday and their capable movers moved our 4 bedroom house in 6 hours. All went well: no dammage. Their rate was very reasonable for the work done.

I moved from Ottawa to Oliver BC in September last year and upon opening my moving boxes, I found that the majority of my belongings were not even wrapped in paper. If items were wrapped, they used articles of my clothing to do so!!
Many of my possessions were badly damaged or broken.
The movers even STOLE items from me including my deceased brother's autographed baseball collection, my laptop, my deceased mother's Christmas decorations, and on and on..
I have tried to resolve this issue with 2 different representatives from Transatlas and have sent them many many photos of the damaged items.I alerted them immediately, but as of now, 8 months later, they have still not contacted me about any of this.
I am out Thousands of dollars!!

We were happy to use Transatlas again. The crew members were wonderful. They really took care of my stuff when We could not be there to supervise storage delivery.

This company strives to be the best. I have always dreaded moving, but this was honestly the best experience ever. The staff is extremely professional and organized. Everything was done in a timely manner and it was a smooth sail.
