BAD experience.
This is a company where all the positive reviews are almost impossible. The owner of the business, Mr. Levant, is irresponsible, unreliable and unresponsive to damage complains. Never accept a quote for them unless there is a clause insuring the price is static. Don't trust them! I had to pay DOUBLE the amount originally requested and I was told I will not receive my furniture if I don't do this!! Horrible service and very, very unreliable!!
Believe all the bad reviews.
My girlfriend and I used trans atlas movers and it was the worst moving experience ever. I laughed reading all the other bad reviews because it described exactly what happened to us.
Rude customer service, no communication, late pick up and delivery.
Do not use this company. The good reviews are the exception, not the rule.
We booked the movers months in advance through a 3rd party. But without communicating with us, they cancelled our truck. We were forced to put our stuff in storage at the last minute at great cost to us.
When it came to dropping our stuff off, they kept telling us one day, and then missing their own deadlines. This happened several times. They never once called us.
This company is very unprofessional. It is hard to see how they are still in business. Any quote they give you, no matter how low, will not make up for how difficult it is to deal with this company.

There was some miscommunication between Transatlas Moving Service and the booking agent. Things are settle and handled well at end. Like to disregard my previous comments and review. At end things well very well. The moving coordinator Levant personally look into this and resolve the matters efficiently. Both truck drivers and delivery person were great and very helpfull.
Move.
I recently had a shipment of personal effects and furniture sent from Toronto to Los Angeles. I was extremely pleased with the entire process. Excellent precautionary Packing, very timely delivery and no loss or damage at all. Best move ever. Very personable treatment as well. You have a very satisfied customer. Very cost effective. I would not hesitate to recommend their moving services.
Dissatisfied service.
We actually booked through another company called first class van lines based in Toronto. We were moving from Sault Ste Marie Ontario to Prince Edward Island, it was a disastrous move from start to finish. We were quoted a good price for our move, we could pay a deposit and then the rest on delivery and 6wks free storage so we took it, when they came to pick up our furniture they couldn't give us an exact price until it was weighed. Once the furniture was down in Toronto the quote went up by $1600 and they wouldn't release our furniture to us until we paid for it up front, and they also wanted us to pay for storage on top of the total price. We didn't want to pay up front because we thought we may never get our furniture from them so they told us to take a photo copy of a money order and email it to them and I also asked them to send the furniture to us the following Thursday and we would have it delivered to a storage locker here in PEI until our house was ready for us to move into. This was on Friday on Sunday we got a call from Transatlas Movers they were on their way with our furniture and would be there on Monday at 1pm, at our storage locker, at 1pm we were there waiting for them, and they didn't turn up so I phoned them and got through their dispatch they were still not in PEI and had 2 deliveries to do before they were delivering ours we asked them to call us when they were on their way. We waited for a call that didn't come, so at 6pm I called them back, no answer and I tried several more times still no answer, I eventually borrowed another cell phone off a friend and called them back at 8pm, this time they answered apparently they don't work after 4pm and that is why they didn't answer the phone to me.. They apparently had tried to call us at least 10 times, but couldn't get through to us, even though we had no missed calls or messages, so they had left our furniture in another storage locker in PEI and wouldn't tell us where it was until we sent first class vanlines the full money for our furniture and the money for the storage locker. We got in touch with the owner of our storage locker where the furniture was supposed to be dropped off he told us that transatlas had turned up at 6pm not stayed very long, but told him that they would come back to the locker in the morning at 8am and deliver the furniture, so we turned up at 8am and they didn't turn up, when I got back in touch with the dispatcher he was adament that we wouldn't get our furniture back until we had paid for it first,.we ended up sending first class van lines the money, when we eventually got our furniture from the locker there was alot of damaged items no care and attention had been given to the furniture which had been forcefully cramped packed into the storage locker, we were all very upset it had not been a pleasent experience. We also inherited another box which doesn't belong to us full of someones keepsake items from years gone by, probably a very cherished box, I tried to email transatlas to ask them about it but they have yet to get back to me, it maybe unimportant to them but someone is missing it.

Hello, I want to thank the TransAtlas team that have done an excelent job. The team arrived on time and were attentive to my needs. They were professional and paid attention to all the furniture. They even removed their shoes because they connected the truck to the house to bring the furniture into the new house. I would hire them again without hesitation. There is nothing we could possibly complain about. Tell everyone to use these guys. .
Our Third Move with TransAtlas Moving Services.
This was our third move using TransAtlas Moving Services and we were once again not disappointed. They exceeded our expectations. They assisted us in packing oversized items and they had wooden crates built for protecting large pieces of glass used as table tops. We had over 29,000 lb. of furniture, books, art, etc., as well as a grand piano moved from Canada to the USA. We were once again extremely pleased with their skills in packing everything we owned into a large moving van and transporting it from Montreal to Chicago and finding that nothing was damaged!! This is the third move we have made in the last ten years and each time we were absolutely amazed at TransAtlas Moving Services. Regardless of the obstacles we encountered during our moves, TransAtlas always remained calm and they were always able to overcome these obstacles. We highly recommend TransAtlas Moving Services. .
Very fast and professional.
Where to start. I guess I should start from the pick up date. I had tochange my pick up date because something came up so I had to get an early flight so I called Transatlas head office and they were able to accomodate my date have change even if they didn't have a base in Miami, FL. Then my furniture arrived before my place was ready in Toronto but they offered me 4 weeks of free storage as long as I cleared the goods through customs which was really easy. So I am really satisfied and looking forward to moving again with them next time. Thanks alot to all the Transatlas crew.
Excellent movers.
I was quoted a rate for my move fron Toronto to las Vegas when the shipment arrived a I was asked to pay exactly what I was quoter. The guys at pickup and on delivery were very nice to work with. I was very impressed by the delivery time it only took them 9 days from time of pickup to delivery. I have moved many times in the past . I would have to say this has been the eaiest move I have done . Once again thank you for all your help and rest assured I will pass the word around about your company.
Moving from Canada to USA.
Hi there. I was so amazed with the way my long distance move was handled, especially the protection of my furniture, as well as packing and handling my stuff. In the addition to that, the pick up of my furniture was done the date I chose, plus delivery was done on time, without any damage, broken or stolen items. I'm glad to find such a professional and honest mover. I will certainly use their services any time I have to. I strongly recommend them to all my family and friends. Keep up the good service. I moved to Alberta from Montreal. I checked with many moving companies. But Finally I selected Transatlas. It was a very good experience with Transatlas. People were very friendly. Initial price and weight estimate was very precise. Delivery schedule was flexible to fit my needs. All my stuff was properly delivered. Everything was intact. Fast and great service. Highly recommended.
Good Service.
I used Transatlas Moving Company and very satisfied with their service. They moved my stuff from Boston to Montreal I had no problems with them from beginning to the end of my relocation. I liked the way they packed my stuff ( cautious enough), punctual and polite.They set up the furniture for us. They provided me everything I needed at good price and quality. I like the way they protected my house from damages and I really enjoyed working with them.I will recommend it without any hesitation. .
The Worst.
Poor. Without a doubt it was the worst service I have ever experienced. We called the company a couple of times, as our shipment had not arrived. When they said it would and for that the drivers took the extra we owed and than proceed to tell the only one that was at home that he had to unload the truck all by himself. They also refused to back the truck near the house, forcing him to have to carry all the boxes up the driveway of the acreage to the house. Don't ever use this company.

really really great all of my things were in good piece and it was actually very fast for me perfect.
Transatlas bad service and unfriendly.
I was not given a proper quote from Good Ol Boys who contracted this company to do my move. I was then ordered to pay over 1500 more then what was expected, if I didn't pay I didn't get my furniture, I had to work out some sort of deal and at the end of everything my 1200 recliner chair was missing and promised to be delivered weeks ago and was not. With multiple emails and calls made to the company no one is responding to me. They damaged my 46" samsung smart TV and some of my furniture was soiled. They make you sign a paper before unloading everything which is a forced contract basically saying that they are no longer responsible for the items and any damages that may have happened.
The whole time they do not once contact you and update you about increases of weight or tell you that they weighed your shipment or even ask if you want to be present which they are supposed to do, they have not sent me any papers or bills or dosumention about the weight or when they weighed it, this company and Good Ol Boys are nothing but swindlers and hoodlems and very unprofessional people avoid them at all costs.
