Two Men and a Truck.
From the beginning, everyone with this company was very professional and polite. While I did have smaller items packed and moved, for the most part, Two Men and a Truck was contacted to move the larger items or a local move. The movers were very efficient and even placed the items where I wanted them into the new place, as well as setting the furnishings up. The movers were a great group of people as well. I definitely recommend this company!
They don't evan deserve a star.
Dont anyone use this moving company, they are unprofessional, rude, shady, they do not care about customers property or anything that surrounds their property. nothing about them is professional, I needed to call manager many times because the movers did not no whar they were doing .. nothing was wrapped or covered draws fell out , I felt I had to babysit them I shouldn't have to babysit professional movers . when I presented my damaged items I kept getting the run around .. not professional.

WARNING!! Worst experience I've had and I have used moving companies often in the past. Not only was their estimate very off which cost me $$. Never give this company your credit card information. The guys that came to move, were very inexperienced and young took a long time and wasted time smoking and even URINATED in the stairwell of my building before they left. Disgusting. Most of my furniture had nicks and dents. Shelves were missing along with a broken leg. Management is cheap and unresponsive. Especially Marc and Justin. Repairs were horrible and took 40 days. and no compensation was offered. Corporate office was no help. NIGHTMARE. Two men and a truck ruined most my furniture. BEWARE!!
Bad Business.
This company made my stress level go to the max. They arrived late because I was told that the earlier move was longer than expected. Then it took about 4 hours to pack my 2 bedroom apartment. It had to be stored over the weekend at their lace of business because my storage as closed. When I finally got my things unpacked in my new home, 3 glass pieces to tables were not there. And then my new dining room table was damaged. I called several times to finally got my glass pieces that happened to be left on the truck. I asked about the proper way to report the damage to my table. They have the pictures of the damages.I have called more than 5 times and I am either told someone will get in touch with me or that person will call me back. Needless to say I haven't gotten any phone calls nor paperwork in the mail or even an email. I would not recommend this company.
Never use!! So much damage to our home and belongings.
Could not be more disappointed with this company (we used the one based in Burlington, ON). They damaged our dresser by dropping it down a flight of stairs and completely damaged our infant daughter's dresser beyond repair. They also damaged the home we were moving out scuffing the walls and putting holes through them. The movers were completely careless and unprofessional. Making matters worse their customer service after the fact was horrendous. Their solution was to have their own repairman fix our broken furniture and walls but we would have to pay a $150 deductible. Are you kidding me ? After your movers' negligence? Horrendous experience will make sure to warn any friends and family against using them in the future.
So glad we went with Two Men and a Truck from Charlottesville, Va.
The team out of Charlottesville arrived on time and did a fantastic job moving us from the top of a mountain not far from the Skyline Drive to the barely above sea level of the Northern Neck of Virginia. The men were super careful with our belongings; nothing arrived broken or in disrepair. They were extremely courteous and hard working. The day was very hot and the humidity was typical ugh for Tidewater, but these guys were real workhorses! Also, while the moving-out team was hard at work, another gentleman from Two Men arrived to check on their progress; to make sure things were going smoothly, and to see if we had any questions or concerns. Frankly, it blew us away that he came all the way up the mountain to check on things! GREAT company!! (Please note, however, that Two Men and a Truck is a franchise business and they are not all equally excellent. Check around!).
Movers who don't care.
Damaged and dirty furniture after the move. It took 6 hours for 3 men to move less than 2,000 sq. ft. home where only large items left. No boxes or small furniture even chairs had to be moved. Travel distance 3 miles. They charged insurance, but did not compensate for the damage.
Disastrous Move.
The move was disaster.Movers were very inefficient, didn't have any strength to lift, they were careless about our house and furniture, they dragged most of the stuff and there are several damages.They damaged my door to garage pretty badly with dents, stains and hole. They broke my dresser mirror foot and one side plank, which is not fitting now. Did several scratches to walls and doors.They were very slow in their work taking their own sweet time, Just had 2 sofa sets, 2 beds, 1 dresser, 3 mattresses, 2 TVs, 2 exercise benches and weights along with some minor stuff and they took 8 hours to move. Will not recommend to anyone.
Phenomenal!
WOW! Phenomenal service! So impressed! Mine was a 3rd floor move. Not an easy task but the gentlemen who moved my belongings were extraordinary. They took such great care of my things as of they were their own. I'm so impressed and grateful for the service provided by the team from Two Men and a Truck. I highly, highly recommend this company. Excellent service, genuinely honest/considerate staff and very fair pricing.
Move from Brandon, MS to Natchez, MS.
I cannot even begin to explain how wonderful our experience with 2 Men & a Truck was! Mike and Carlos were AWESOME! So very respectful helped us when we couldn't figure some things out, and to put it in very simple terms, WENT THE EXTRA MILE, to make sure everything was absolutely perfect! I HIGHLY recommend this company! They even did extra things that were not originally planned!

Moving Company.
Thanks to 'Two Men and a Truck' (St. Catharine's) my parents' downsizing of their house to condo went smoothly. The company was professional on the phone and their quote came very close to the actual cost! Our move was very complicated with two drop off places and moving into a different city with full packing over 2 days. The movers were polite and efficient. The care they took to packing and moving the goods were excellent. I would recommend this company to anyone who is moving! I would definitely use them again.
Surprisingly easy!!
We actually had 4 men and 2 trucks move us and we were VERY pleased. Our crew of Shane, Marlon, Patrick and Dustin from the Lincoln, NE office were not only professional but were kind as well. We felt as if they were treating our things like they were their own and when I accidentally gasped when finding something I hadn't seen in a long time, their first concern was that they had broken something. I appreciated their concern. They clearly like their jobs and each other as we noted a lot of teasing going on among them as they worked and we found it enjoyable (if you can count a move as enjoyable). Thanks again guys!! You all deserve a raise!! We would not hesitate to use these guys again, and if anyone is hesitating using them, don't! Call and make your move a lot easier!
Additional Fees.
Beware of the additional travel fee (=per hr charge) for doing absolutely nothing but driving to your location. Also the fuel fee which was 12% of the total bill (includes travel fee) no matter how short or long the drive. Sounds like they are using some creative accounting to get away with double charging folks and jacked my cost up an additional $200+. Pure rip-off and crooks and I would never use or recommend them ever!!

I wanted to write to you to tell about the excellent service and job performed by Terry and Tony and a third fellow who just started that day. I used Two Men and a Truck to move my daughter into a new apartment. They were prompt and got to work right away. All of the furniture was moved with care. They got my daughter moved into her new apartment in practically no time at all. I would not hesitate to use Two Men and a Truck in the future. Money well spent!
