  1. Good Job!!

    The team of 4 men arrived on time at the move day, provided the packing materials, packed all the valuables and breakables nicely and loading was done even smoothly. I would hire these guys again in a sec they made it as painless as possible. John, you are the Man!

  2. American Standard Moving Company.

    Do not use this company! I used this company to move from San Diego to LasVegas and they subbed out the work to Cheetah Movers. However, Cheetah did not pick up my stuff. Another mover came named White Gold and their lead guy was very rude to me. The final delivery was made by yet another company. A bunch of my collectibles were broken but who do you hold accountable when different companies are involved? I had no idea when they were going to deliver. They told me it could be up to two weeks and then at 10:40 pm I received a text that they would deliver the next day. Their customer service told me to have a Cashier check made.to Cheetah but then White Gold shows up and won’t take it. Both American Standard’s sales guy And White Gold were unprofessional and rude. I saw the poor Reviews and should not have used them. I also had questions and they did not return my calls. Don’t use this company as they are so unprofessional.

    I absolutely loved the crew over at American Standard Moving. They were on-time, efficient, well priced, cautious, and friendly. They turned my nightmare around. I was under the gun and of course I waited until the last minute, but they swooped in and took care of everything. I highly recommend them if you need help with your move.

  4. Horrible service. Lied to from the moment of first call.

    I received a great original quote from Glen Davis. Discussed that once all was packed I would receive a call 72 hours prior to arrival to update inventory. Well I called 3 times over the previous 3 days and was told not to worry they would call. Once movers showed up I was explained what the cost would be if I completely filled truck, but not to worry that wouldn't happen. Once truck was fully loaded, I was informed it would be an additional 2000 dollars. I called Mr. Davis who said "Well that was our fault sorry we didn't call, but it is out of our hands now. You can always refuse delivery and lose your deposit." On the day of moving that would have then cost me an additional 1500 dollars for a moving truck rental on day of move. Customer service offers no help, sales reps lie, contracts were broke . but who care they got their money right?

  5. Good Mover!!

    I had them for two hours and they were done with moving one house to the other and unloading within an hour and half. They're conscious about not ruining your walls, paint etc especially when you tell them. All my furniture was wrapped and moved with great care.

    Movers were on time, pleasant and very organized. They brought all the equipment necessary for a fast and efficient move. The job was very affordable and done really, really well that it convinced me to give them a generous tip. I would highly recommend these services to my friends and family. Thank you!

  7. The absolute most horrible experience!

    Never, ever use this company. We had no idea where our furniture was for weeks, and no one would answer the phone at the office to tell us where it was and when it would arrive. We called the office, from a phone that was an unfamiliar number to them, and they answered.

    I was kept on hold for 20 minutes and then they disconnected.

    We had an up charge on both ends of the move. $2000 more at pickup, and a month later,$2000 on delivery.

    Please stay away! Scam artist!

  8. Stole $1750.00.

    There really should be a zero star option. I scheduled my move with Mitch Davis on 6/23. He mentioned I would need to put $1750.00 down and there would be a 20% fee if I didn't pay via e-check, so I obliged.

    Right as I was about to hang up with Mitch he said "If you hear anything bad about us just ignore it." Alarm bells started ringing and I did a quick google of American Standard Moving & Storage. The reviews were nothing less than terrifying.

    I canceled my moving job the morning of 6/24. This job was requested on 6/23, therefore the cancellation was within 24 hours of booking - well within the written contract of 72 hours to receive my deposit back.

    American Standard Moving gave written confirmation that I would receive my deposit refund within 30 days of original request.

    To be honest I was skeptical - reviews mention never receiving deposits. I called my bank but they said because I had authorized an e-check there was nothing I could do.

    On 7/20 I was informed by a customer service representative that I would receive my payment of $1750.00 on 7/23. I never received payment.

    On 7/24 I followed up at 3pm. The customer service representative told me their billing specialist was out to lunch and would return my call. I never received a call.

    7/29, I spent a total of 45 minutes on hold waiting for a representative. After about 15 minutes I had a customer service rep answer the phone and mention she would put my on a brief hold to look up my account. She never requested my name or account information.

    On 7/31 I had my lawyer send a letter to American Standard Moving & Storage, demanding they honor my contract and refund me my $1750.00.

    It is 8/27, I have yet to receive my refund and they have not responded to my lawyer. They will not pick up when I call. It sickens me that they are acquiring new clients daily and ripping them off, and getting away with it.

    Long story short, they stole $1750.00 and are in breach of contract.

  9. Do Not Use!

    When the reservation was made I was given a "GRAND TOTAL" (these words are also on an email confirmation AND a voicemail). Was told this includes packing material/labor and boxes. This included EVERYTHING per Jacob..two storage sheds, two stops in FL and two stops in TN. This was for my 77 year old mother who is on a fixed income! Day of delivery we were given a total $1400 OVER the "GRAND TOTAL"! When I called them they said they had to request the paperwork and would call back. THREE days later I had to call them again and they still didn't have the paperwork. Then I find out they are a moving coordinator and use Ocean Moving and Ocean is the one who is charging more. I called Ocean and they only agreed to knock off $250. So, I guess I'm supposed to be happy that I'm paying $1150 OVER the "grand total" instead of $1400. DO NOT use this or Ocean Movers..unless you like being lied to and having your elderly parent being taken advantage of.

    We recently moved out of the city; our biggest move yet and our American Standard Moving team couldn't have been more professional, efficient and friendly. The team arrived on time and helped wrap up any existing fragile pieces and was able to take large furniture out without damaging it or the interior of the apartment.

    William and his crew did an amazing job. Navigated three flights of stairs with ease. Not a scratch on the walls or the hardwood floors throughout the home. Highly recommend this moving company to my friends and family!

  12. They will hold your money with no service.

    This company gave me a quote over the phone for my mom who was moving from Miami to Tennessee. When the driver came he wanted to charge an extra 600.00 because the box where larger and we were not asked for the size of the box. Customer service would not help and they held my down payment with no service. I am going to write a letter to the better business bureau.

  13. Unbelievably HORRIFIC Customer Service.

    I was sold an incorrect move with incorrect dates, told that I would receive my property in 2 days and was later informed it would be 30 business days. When I called customer service the woman was condescending, called me names, made me feel ignorant. I have NEVER in my life been spoken to or communicated with in such a horrible way, and I have a career in hospitality. This company said I was not "rich" enough for their help, after I paid my $2800 deposit. I will be reaching out to better business bureau since this company is in the business of scamming.

    I had no issues with the moving team or management. Everything went as planned. There were no cost add-ons. Made my moving day stress and worry free. Would absolutely worth recommending!!

  15. Worst Moving Experience- bait&switch.

    This company misrepresented the services that would be provided and after receiving a very detailed inventory of our move over the phone the representative, Mitch, assured that our move would take place on 8/14/20. We were told that date would t be an issue and placed a deposit on the move of $5,250.

    Mitch stated this price was due to the short notice and we would pay the balance on the day of moving. They later called to confirm the move for the 14th. A couple hours later I received a call confirming for the 15th. I told them this was incorrect and the dispatcher made a huge deal of having to accommodate for the correct date of the 14th. I was changed from my previous time of 9am to 1pm.

    On the day of our move (14th) the movers called to confirm 1pm. Several hours later said it would be between 3–4 pm. A little after 4pm, a much smaller truck with 3 men showed up. We were supposed to have 4 movers, not 3. The truck was a Budget rental truck that I could have rented myself and they didn’t have any additional equipment to “wrap and pad” my furniture as I had been told was part of the service. It was also very obvious when they did the walk through that they were contractors and had not been given correct information. They said it would be additional money. They were not happy about needing to disassemble table and beds, again something that I was paying for. They also said that all drawers would need to be emptied of clothes and I had specifically asked Mitch and the person that confirmed our move of clothes could be left in the drawers and was told yes.

    So a move for a 4 bed 2 bath house, shed contents, which I specifically went through at length and made sure that Mitch understood it contained a garden tub, dishwasher, and double vanity for our new house, and 12 boxes of brick facade was originally quoted as $7750. This was a large move and I agreed to a large price. The movers arrive and want more money. I sent them away after arguing in the phone with American Standard and telling them this was unacceptable. I refused to give them one more dollar or to pay any remaining balance. They refused to refund any of my hefty deposit. Plus we had to rent trucks and move ourselves.

    Do not use this company! It is a bait and switch. Not only do they take advantage of the customer, they take advantage of smaller movers that they contract the jobs out to.
