1. Moving Experience.

   Beware of this company. Did a long distance move from east coast
   to west coast. First I was quoted a price by a broker and than the price changed considerably. Secondly items were stolen and broken
   when received on the other end, as well as the move taking much longer than expected. Agents did not return calls and there was no
   communication to track where the drivers were. Do not use this company under any circumstances, they are liars and scam artists.

2. Stay Away. do Not Use!

   American Standard Moving and Storage, Boca Raton, Florida is a terrible moving and storage company. They start out acting like they care but once you give them the deposit they stop caring. American Standard Moving and Storage Company, Boca Raton, FL, are thieves and they hired a terrible 1 star moving company to transport my furniture across country. MY FURNITURE IS GONE! It has been over a month and I can't get a hold of anyone at the trucking company and American Standard Moving and Storage couldn't care less. They give me the run around and won't help. AMERICAN STANDARD MOVING AND STORAGE are SCAMMERS. They are great at posting fake 5 star reviews on their website. If you are moving across country and looking for a moving company, STAY AWAY!
   I can't believe companies like this exist. Isn't there something we can do?

3. Bait and Switch Scam BEWARE.

   This company provides zero value to you. They will give you some estimate that's low, take a large non-refundable deposit, then assign you to some random movers who will come and charge you an additional $700-$1000 every time they see you (pickup/delivery) because why wouldn't they? The quote that American Standard gives you is absolutely worthless, it means nothing. They'll say it's "binding" but the movers will show up and let you know that it's going to cost an additional $100 per degree above or below 72 or whatever they happen to choose. Keep in mind, this is after you've paid a $900 non-refundable deposit and after the movers have your things on their truck. You have no contract, you're just assigned to random movers for pickup and again for delivery (they explicitly lied to me about this one) who will charge you whatever they want.

4. Satisfying Move !!

   I called a few companies for a last minute move, thinking I'd be paying a lot for being last minute, American Standard Moving & Storage services surprised me with their very affordable rates! Would definitely use them again and highly recommend.

5. Amazing!

   I was in the Navy and have moved many times over the past 12 years and this by far is the best moving company. Anyone who has ever been in the military can tell you what a nightmare it was to move to a new duty station. So, when I hired American Standard movers at the end of 2019 I was simply amazed! The three-man crew that showed up was absolutely incredible! They were punctual, polite, and very professional. They wrapped all my furniture in blankets and stretch wrap and loaded everything carefully on to their truck, and they were just as particular unloading at my new place. Everything arrived in perfect condition. So, when I just learned that I needed to move again I did not hesitate to contact American Standard Movers. George had once again made the setup process seamless and I have no doubts that my upcoming moving experience will be just as spot-on as my previous with them. With no hesitation I highly recommend American Standard Movers!!

6. American Standard Moving and Storage.

   DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This company proved problematic from start to finish. Here’s what you can expect from American Standard Moving and Storage: They will low-ball your estimate to get your business, and after you’ve provided them a substantial NON-REFUNDABLE deposit, they will squeeze you for more $ every step of the way! I ended up having to pay them almost $1000 above their estimate, and I have the documents and email copies to prove that. They are disorganized and obviously poorly managed. Bottom line: they are scammers. AVOID AMERICAN STANDARD MOVING AND STORAGE for your next move. Their only reliable “standard” will be sub-par performance and bad business practices.

7. Great movers!

   This is the first time I've hired movers and it was a great experience. The person I was dealing with in the office was friendly and answered all of my emails promptly. The guys showed up on time with the truck and were friendly and efficient. When they arrived at the new place, they offered to help me out with anything that needed assembling. I would definitely hire this company again! You will not be disappointed by using American Standard Moving!

8. They did a great job!!

   I called American Standard Moving on a recommendations from a friend who recently moved. They were curious and helpful from the start. From the time the women came to do the Estimate of the furniture right down to the delivery and the end of the day. My foreman was Brian (I think) and he could NOT have been any nicer, professional and really on the ball with EVERYTHING that needed to be done! He made sure he and his team wrapped and protected all my furniture, moved everything carefully, and packed up the truck in a time efficient way. They did the packing and driving of 3 hrs away all in one day (this is the ONLY complaints, as I think they should have packed one day, and moved the next) because when they finally finished- it was 9pm at night. I would not have ANY reservations to recommend them again to any and all my friends. If you are on the fence about taking a chance of them, don't. Call Shleppers and you will be confident that your move will be a EXCELLENT capable hands! Thank you!!

9. Horrible Company.

   If I could give negative stars I would!! Don’t ever hire this company they are a complete joke and nothing but lies!! We were told we would have our things two weeks ago and to join avail they came three weeks late! They constantly up charge you. The day they finally came they refused to go up our stairs and started putting our furniture on the sidewalk! Worst company I the world! I wouldn’t recommend them to a stray dog!

   

10. Excellent service.

    American Standard did a great job on my move to Florida! Would highly recommend going with them. Their movers are fully licensed and know what they are doing. They disassembled and packed all my furniture within a few hours and we’re ready to go. Once arrived in Florida everything came in one piece and did not have to pay more. Thanks! Will be using you next time!

11. Buyers Remorse Beware.

    BUYERS REMORSE, BEWARE! This company and its affiliates grossly over promise and under deliver and hold your belongings hostage to get more money incrementally at every step of your move. Do not believe a word that William Jameson, the Operations Manager, says. I would give American Standard Moving -negative- stars if I could. Save your time, save your money and preserve your peace of mind. Whatever they quote you is not worth what you will be forced to endure to get your belongings moved and back in your possession.
    The price I was initially quoted more than doubled at pick up. My initial quote was $2281. That price went Up by $3426.55 MORE between the pick up and delivery of my things. Ultimately I was charged $5707.55.
    First they were a day late picking up my things. Then delivery of my belongings took 7 days longer than initially promised. My things were picked up in Charlotte, NC and sat in their Atlanta, GA warehouse for 8 days before they finally finished my delivery to New Orleans, LA.
    After they had my deposit money customer service and communication was disturbingly sparse. Their truck drivers and lead movers for my pick up and delivery: Johnny and Mikey, both had horrible attitudes and threatened to quit the job and leave without loading and unloading my things on the day of pick up and on the day of delivery. Mikey refused to put things back together at delivery as they had promised. Beds, book shelves and more were left in pieces. Mikey the delivery driver even refused to give me time to inspect their work and my things before rushing off after an incomplete delivery job. From start to finish it was the most stressful and unnerving experience. I lost much sleep and shed tears behind this experience. I would never recommend and never again use American Standard Moving, nor Trans Van Lines, the company they contract to actually load, relocate and move your things. Do not patronize either company. Spread the word: They both lack integrity and their quality of customer service is dismal. DO NOT PATRONIZE AMERICAN STANDARD MOVING NOR TRANS VAN LINES.

12. Great Moving Team !!

    On our interstate move, this Movers team did an excellent job. The driver and the rest of the crew were excellent. They are very professional, shown on schedule, and while we're still unpacking boxes, it is all fine.

13. Horrible. Liars.

    I gave them Two written estimates by movers who came to my home and storage. They beat the price then but when it came time to move they jacked up the
    Price by $3k for stuff not on the bud. Pure bs. They must have taken it off if anything to take advantage of me in this stressful time. BAD BUSINESS.

14. All the way best.

    I moved two weeks ago, they did a great job. I was initially told they were sending 3 movers and 5 showed up which made things faster. Everything was handled with care. They disassembled and reassembled my furniture and set it up. All the guys were polite and respectful. I would use them again and recommend them as well.

15. Great service!

    They did a great job with my move. A few hiccups on the way but they were very responsive and the cost did not go over the total estimated amount so I was okay. Would recommend if you want trusted movers. I would recommend American Standard moving for you long distance moving needs. I can’t tell you how stressful doing a move on your own can be so this is definitely the way to go!
