1. Moving.

   Perfect service.
   Promptly scheduled exactly when I wanted the move done.
   Arrived on time with more than enough guys and job was done in 1/4 the estimated time. There was no damage and everything put away where it goes.
   It could not have been better.

2. Amazing experience.

   I have used big boys moving and storage twice in the last two years and I have not been let down! They gave me an fair price and did an awesome job! I will continue to recommend them to anyone moving! When I was stressed out about the move they assured me that they were there to help.

   I did my homework. Don't let the nasty nsncys and bitter bettys fool you from choosing an amazing company! Read the five star reviews and you will easily see the truth. This company has been in business with an office that I've passed daily for many years. After asking around I also have many, many friends that had a great experience. I moved March 30th from Oldsmar to Palm Harbor. I have so many good things to say about Big Boys Moving & Storage company that I honestly don't know exactly where I should start. Excellent communication and guidance from their sales department. They helped us plan right up until the day of our move. We've lived in the same home for ten years and did not realize how much junk we had accumulated. My salesperson planned the packing the evening before. They team that arrived were terrific. They packed all my kitchen, my china cabinet and both of my curio cabinets with care. They used blankets and wrap on all of my furniture. The extra special care truly showed with my antiques which included my pride and joy items the grandfather clock and baby grand piano. They took everything apart, wrapped it all and ready for the move leaving just our bed together for us to sleep in that night. The next morning the same Big Boys arrived and got right to work loading their trucks. They moved quickly as a team and their experise again shined bright. We were shocked at how fast they loaded both trucks. The previous day packing and preparations was definitely the way to go. Even though we moved into a smaller home the unload still went just as smooth. We won't be moving again anytime soon but I will surely be spreading the word on how great this company is. If your looking for a smooth stress free move your call to Big Boys will be the absolute best choice that you could make.

4. Use Another Mover.

   When I chose Big Boys Moving, they quoted me for 3-5 hours worth of moving at 139.00 plus a 99.00 surcharge for gas, etc. The movers took an hour lunch break plus several smoke breaks and ended up charging us for 8 hours plus added gratuity. When I called to address the issue, I was told to write an email. I wrote a professional email using my school email address and they reported me to my school saying I harassed them. The dispute officer from my school contacted me and simply said there was nothing wrong with the email I sent, just not to use the school email for personal use. I am humiliated and feel completely wronged by this company. I called to ask Susan why she would have reported me to my school and she repeatedly hung up on me saying she can't speak to me over the phone.

5. Once again made our move stress free.

   Big Boys Moving once again made our move seem easy and again it went stress free. After hearing great things about them back in 2016 this was actually the second time that we have used them. I didn't take the time to write a review the first time. Because of their fantastic service on our first experience we never thought twice to try anyone else. They certainly earned our repeat business. They're well known in Tampa as a reputable, family run business. They were straight forward with pricing and considerate in every way. If you want a professional move don't waste your time looking around there's only one call to make and its to Big Boys.

6. My moving experience.

   I am reciting the facts of my move, so other Tampa area consumers can make an informed decision about one of the companies.
   
   I scheduled a move of a 2 bedroom apartment, which 2 people live in. One bedroom was unfurnished aside from two small bookshelves. The entire move of 37 miles took just over 12 hours, being billed at an hourly rate. Twelve hours, for a 2 bedroom apartment. Both apartments were third floor units.
   
   The movers arrived in a rented Uhaul truck, not the branded trucks pictured repeatedly on the website. They proceeded to carry small to medium boxes, 1-2 at a time up and down the stairs, not using any of the equipment they had.
   
   I witnessed them stand outside their truck and have a conversation with the apartment maintenance staff about the shoes one of the movers was wearing.
   
   I witnessed one of the movers not be present for periods of time, and then would be walking over from the next building, the opposite direction of the truck. The billing, again, was an hourly rate.
   
   They tried to tell us the last large item wouldn't fit in the truck, so they couldn't take it. When they actually were told to take it downstairs, it fit easily.
   
   At the unload site they said their boss didn't realize it was a third floor move, so they weren't prepared, and what is why it was taking so long. A communication from and to their company beforehand indicates third floor.
   
   At the "completion" of the unload, the movers departed with the following not completed: Dining room table not reassembled, multiple pieces of furniture still wrapped in moving blankets, feet were not reinstalled on couch.
   
   We had provided a dozen bottles of cold water for them at each location, and found them thrown on the ground in the stairwell outside the new apartment.
   
   I attempted to contact Big Boys during the move to express my concerns, but only received recorded messages about how busy they were. I emailed them on the moving day, with no response. On moving day +5, I contacted them via phone, was was informed they only correspond via email. That day I did recieve an email stating they had "requested copies of all documentation so that I can respond to all the matters brought to my attention."
   
   I emailed asking for a follow up 7 days later, on moving day +12. No response.
   
   I called asking for a follow up the next day on moving day +13, with no response. I called once more and did have the opportunity to discuss the problems with a company representative.
   
   She was dismissive from the beginning repeatedly referring to the "black and white" of the contract. I asked if she was willing to give me any accommodation for the problems, which she was not.
   
   I explained I would be forced to relay the facts of my move wherever possible. She responded by informing me she "has Google too" and can write what she wants. I asked her if she was threatening me, and she said it was her "Constitutional right" to say what her opinion of me was online.
   
   Please consider this experience when choosing a mover. I have moved 3 times in the last 7 years, and this is the longest experience by time. It is also easily the most expensive.

7. Nightmare beware.

   This was by far the worst experience ever with a business. Big Boy movers was supposed to be at my home at noon they showed up at 6 at night tge movers were exhausted from working already a full day.I had no choice but to use them because I had to move that day I had the reservation and place in 3 weeks in advance. There wasn't one piece of furniture that didn't have some kind of Mark on it from the move two pieces of furniture were actually broken. I had temporarily rented a residence becauseI sold my home everything in there was moved by another company which took only 3 hours this move with them took 7 hours that I was billed for the company was unmoving on adjusting my bill reimbursing me for broken Furniture was horrible customer service actually nasty to deal with I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone a bunch of thugs.

8. SLOWEST Movers, AWEFUL customer Service.

   My second experience using Big Boy Movers was Nothing like the First. This time they showed up late, workers moved very slowly, taking way too much time shrink wrapping everything- even and old couch. One worker needed Advil for his headache, complaining that they worked a 15 hour day previously..They broke my grandmothers vintage dresser mirror, and then had the nerve to charged us for an extra hour ($109) based on 10 minutes overage. I made many and lengthy attempts to resolve my disputes with the company without satisfaction. Worst movers I've ever used. DO NOT use this company !!

9. Don't waste your time elsewhere call Big Boys Moving.

   I spent weeks researching movers, reading many company quotes and a long list of reviews. Big Boys Moving company moved to the top of my list. After speaking with Susan I was pretty sure I chose the right company. The movers arrived prepared and on time. They where like machines quickly wrapping and packing my things. I was impressed on how fast that they emptied my whole home. Everything that Susan had promised went exactly as planned as she said it would. They unloaded and set all of my beds back up. Unwrapped everything and even took an old mattress with them to the dump for me. I couldn't have asked for nicer guys. They were so helpful and such hardworkers. I am truly grateful for the services I received and will spread the word in my network meetings about you guys. Thanks again.

10. No Customer Service Whatsoever.

    First, they were 5 hrs late and only informed us of the delay 15 minutes before arrival time.
    Second, they over charged us by 2 hrs.
    Third, something broke during our move and their claims/customer service department has still not gotten back to me after calling and emailing every other week for 7 months.
    
    Go ahead and hire them if that's what you want to deal with.

11. Big Boys Moving reliable, polite, efficient & overall amazing movers.

    I recently relocated from Westchase to Odessa. I asked around for movers with my circle of friends. Big Boys Moving and Storage were recommended to me by several happy customers. Immediately, upon calling, the sales person and their team made the process of setting up an absolute breeze. On the day of moving, I was still scrambling to get everything packed. The Big Boys were incredibly helpful and assisted me with getting the remaining things organized. The move itself was incredibly efficient. The guys moved my entire 1700 sq ft townhouse in just a few hours. They were extremely polite and careful with all of my belongings. Moving is always an extremely stressful process. Big Boys Moving and Storage made it an easy experience. I cannot thank them enough. They are an incredible value and I would recommend them to ANYONE that needs reliable, polite, efficient, and overall amazing service at a much lower rate than most of the other companies I received quotes from. Thanks again Big Boys, You guys are great!!

12. Outstanding Service - Big Boys Moving & Storage.

    The moving coordinator Amanda was friendly, fast, and efficient! With less than 1 day's notice, my move was met with enthusiasm and professionalism. The movers were actually 30 minutes early, and wasted no time getting things on the truck. Robert H. and Cameron were a spectacular team! They were very courteous and respectful, detail oriented and showed a genuine interest in getting things exactly where we wanted them, how we wanted them!! The whole move took under 5 hours, including an hour and a half drive to the new house. I would not hesitate to call on this company, and specifically this dynamic duo of a moving team in the future!!

13. Great Experience.

    We just moved this weekend, and we couldn't have done it without Robert H. & Cameron from Big Boys!
    
    The whole experience was terrific. I received a written quote from Amanda, which other companies did not provide without a home visit. She followed up while I decided what company to use and gave me criteria to look for with their competitors. She offered us a discount because my husband is a veteran.
    
    The day of the move, Robert H. & Cameron arrived on time and got straight to work. They were extremely polite and efficient. They had to endure the stairs at our old place, but they didn't complain about it once. We were not as ready as we could've been, but they worked with us and around us while we finished our packing.
    
    At the new site, they unloaded everything and made sure to inquire about where items were to be placed (we moved a lot of stuff to different rooms). They congratulated us on our new home and seemed genuinely excited for us.
    
    We finished our entire move in a little less than 5 hours, and that was impressive! Their efficiency helped us stay on budget.
    
    I would recommend Big Boys to everyone!

    Great move on 9/21/17 especially the boys Robert H. and Jordan B.
    Very good crew..polite and fast. I really like the "yes sirs". FL was busy after Irma and the crew showed up late. I did get a phone call informing me of this scheduling issue, but it still messed up my planning for the day. I'll use them again.

15. Worst movers on planet earth.

    These clowns are unreliable, unprofessional,. avoid them like a plague. There should be a minus 1-5 review scale i'll give them -5.
