So impressed!
Having moved 5 times in 5 years now, I could probably write a book about moving! With that in mind, working with Element Movers was such a pleasant experience. Every member of the team, from the owners to the movers went out of their way to make this such a painless move. I was most impressed by their honesty and how they kept to their quote without pulling any surprises on us on moving day. When we called for a quote, they didn’t just give an estimate on the phone based on the details we gave. Instead, they came down personally to the house and went room by room, closet by closet to work out exactly how many boxes would be needed and how many hours it would take. Their price was extremely competitive. Even if you are considering hiring a U-haul truck and some “helpers” to cut costs, give Element Movers a call first. I’ve gone that route before and I can tell you that after paying for the truck miles insurance labor help you really don’t come out too much ahead. For the extra peace-of-mind you definitely get your money’s worth. I would recommend Element Movers to all my friends and will be calling them again when we move for the 6th time….
2 moves from Plano to McKinney.
This was the best moving experience we have ever experienced. As a self-employed business person, I'm often perplexed by how hard it is to find good customer service now days - Elements "gets it". We did two separate residential moves with Elements Moving: One in April, 2012 and another in May, 2012. For the first move, the larger one, our movers were: Lois (Lead), Chris, David, Neftali and Antonio. On the second move the movers were Michael, Jorge, and Neftali.
The moving staff was punctual, friendly, courteous and had a wonderful "can-do" attitude from the initial packing and wrapping our posessions to the delivery and setup of furniture. Due to our underestimating our needs, the move ended up taking longer than anticipated but the Elements Moving staff kept a pleasant, smiling attitude the entire time.
Prices were fair and the company, Elements Moving, was personal and exhibited integrity and fair business practices at every turn. I would recommend them to any of my friends or family and will definitely utilize their services with future moves for personal or business needs.
FINALLY! Excellent moving experience.
After having several bad experience in the past with moving companies, my friend suggested I use Element, he had moved with them before. THey were extremely professional, courtesous and gave me a very reasonable quote. Still doubtful and sceptical about the day of the move and how things would go, I was so pleasantly surprised by the fact that all my stuff arrived safely, nothing was broken or stolen, truck arrived on the expected date, they were in communication with me to update me, and they thanked me for my business. Luis was an excellent trustworthy professional foreman, and Jeff answered all my questions putting me an ease during a very stressful time of a coast to coast move, new job, etc..I would highly recommend these guys for all of your moving and storage needs, I know I will work with them again should I need to move again in the future. .
Poor and stressful.
My experience Element moving company has been very unsatisfactory and stressful. Before they received my business to make the move from Texas to Maryland, they were all good ,called me numerous times, followed up with me etc. Once I had signed up with them, everything went downhill. They gave us the name of driver and phone number , who never carried our trailer, so we couldn't contact anyone. They provided no cell phone or any other number for emergency contact. Our shipment was delayed by 4 days. Even then they didn't have the professional movers to deliver. The driver had 4 guys from Craigslist come out, which was outrageous given the number of incidents that happen with Craigslist person. They never returned our calls. Their customer service is unreliable and so is their delivery service. I strongly suggest to go with more professional service even if they will charge you more. The money you saved is not worth the stress. .
No Stress Move.
Element moving proved to be a great experience all around. I move about once a year so I've used a lot of different companies. This is the first time nothing got broken or scratched. The movers (Richard and David)were friendly, gentle with my stuff and moved at a fast pace. They were professional and experienced. I spoke with Donna in the office and she was also friendly and very helpful. I called on short notice and she made sure that I got moved on time. I would highly recommend this company for your move. I will be using them for my next move!
Element was absolutely fabulous.
I was so stressed about moving and was so frustrated. I did a search online and found element. From the moment I heard my sales rep,s voice I felt such at ease. She was very thorough, virtuous and so helpful. The crew arrived right one time on the day of my move and did an great job! They worked hard, did not complain at all and kept moving til the job done. The total of my job ended up being less than what they quoted me which my sales rep prepared me really well for. It was just a great experience and I highly recommend element moving to anyone!

We moved from Dallas to Portland. Overall, I recommend the company.
PROS:
Incredible communication. I never had a problem knowing what was going on.The lowest quoted price of any company.They made all their "time windows" which were at most 2 hours.
CONS:We did a phone quote. We were charged for an additional 100 sq. ft. Not a big deal, but see below for more info.They broke a stair. Although they came back and fixed it later in the afternoon, I was the one to bring it up at the end of the loading part. Otherwise, I think they would have left it broken.
QUOTES:
If you get a phone quote, know that these are never reliable. However, when they packed our stuff in the truck, I'm almost positive our stuff came in UNDER the quoted sq. footage. When I asked why they charged me the extra 100 sq. ft, the mover simply said, well the whole truck is 1800 sq. ft. But they never measured. If I was to do it all over again, I would have made them get out a tape measure in front of me.
CONCLUSION
So, I'm tempted to give them a poor rating for honesty, but I can't confirm for certainty that the square footage wasn't what they said. Regardless, they still came in cheaper than most other companies. Just don't be afraid to push when you don't understand something and ask a TON of questions before the movers actually come to make sure you know what you're getting into.

Happy To Have Element Moving.
I had a great moving experience with Element a few weeks ago. I booked my move with a very nice sales lady over the phone. the dispatcher called me 2 days before the move and was really helpful. I thought I would be ready to move, but I was nowhere close to ready. she told me not to worry about it and said that the guys would bring extra material to help me move. she said they would show up between 8-9 and they were there at 7:45, eager and waiting to work. the guys from element came in and worked wonders in my home. in a matter of 9 hours they had everything ready to go. the following day they loaded my shipment onto the truck and were on their way to my new residence in OK. my items arrived the next day and everything was in perfect condition. the guys put my beds together and put everything in the proper place. we were totally downsizing, so I had them drop off the majority of my things in a public storage and they were really cool about it even though it was more work. I will soon be buying a house out here and would love to have the same crew move me back from storage to my house.
i have moved several times, and each time I couldn't wait for the guys to leave, this crew was actually nice! they were very professional, friendly and really went above and beyond to make my family and I feel that we were getting their number one priority.
Apartment Move.
The crew was scheduled to arrive between 8 & 9 am. They arrived at 8:20am.
Both members of the crew were professional and very safe. All of my scheduled items were moved without incident.They took the utmost care of my moving items.
The crew completed the move in 2 hours & 45 minutes, which was earlier than scheduled. I am very pleased with the results of using Element Moving & I am very happy that I chose this company for my moving experience.
Horrible, terrible, no good, very bad moving company.
Element is the worst moving company ever for moving more than just around the Dallas area.
They showed up over 1.5 hours late without calling to inform us, threw soda cans on the ground allowing soda to seep out onto freshly cleaned floors, ruined items by using so much tape that it is impossible to get the tape and residue off later. On the phone they give a moving time frame that is drastically unrealistic and don't let you know they are off schedule until you call them. They are very poor at returning calls. You will have to hunt them down by calling six times in one hour.
The customer service is worthless.
They also CHARGE 25% MORE THAN THE QUOTE the day of the move, once your stuff is already on the truck.
Absolutely horrible service. Did not reassemble what they disassembled. Left some of our boxes on the truck, drove off and we had to hunt down the driver to get him to bring the extra boxes back.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
There is a reason they are not a Better Business Bureau backed company.

Mark and Bryan were the best! They were on time (even called to let me know they were on their way), they were very helpful, moved everything with care and had great attitudes. They took the stress out of our moving day. I definitely recommend them for everyone. Fantastic.
Best Moving Experience.
Element Moving did an amazing job with my move. Our move was done at half the cost compared to other major moving companies. They thoroughly boxed and wrapped up everything I had. In 3 days we received our things. Throughout the move Matthew was in contact with me and whatever questions I had he was there to help and solve any issues I had during the move. I would definitely use this company again and would recommend them to everyone.

Great service, totally professional and efficient. Would recommend them to anyone! They were careful with everything, and even saved me money by completing the work in a quicker time than originally estimated. They showed up on time, and finished early. I was kept in the loop about everything, and they met any requests I had. Above and beyond my expectations!

I had a fabulous moving experience with Element. Elle took excellent care of me pre-move, and Luis was a fabulous project manager/crew chief. He alerted me whenever an issue of concern arose and repeatedly calmed my fears I moved to a second-story apartment up a steep flight of stairs but he never let that slow him down. I highly recommend Element Moving and Storage and will use them again on future moves.
